Reviews
The hotel is generally well-liked for its cleanliness, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. However, there are some recurring issues with maintenance and amenities, such as faulty air conditioning, plumbing problems, and a lack of breakfast options.

BEWARE of theft!!! My personal device was stolen from my room. Housekeep cleared out my room prior to my check out time. Security said nothing was in my room. So I think staff stole my belongings. The general manager never contacted me to discuss the incident. Security said they will not do anything about it. Don’t stay at this location.

Once Expedia updated it, Rachel claimed she couldn't see it. When I tried to hand her my phone to speak with Expedia, she refused and demanded they call the hotel landline. She then disappeared into the back office to take the call. Expedia tried calling multiple times, but the line resulted in a dead tone and never went through. Instead of coming back to help, Rachel completely abandoned us. She never showed up again, leaving my son and me stranded at the front desk. We were left in limbo until another gentleman on the hotel staff finally appeared and successfully helped us check in. Rachel’s behavior showed a complete lack of respect, empathy, and professionalism. To abandon a guest with a child in the middle of the night because a phone line didn't work is unacceptable for a Marriott property. Management needs to address this severe lack of hospitality.

It is very important to have breakfast included for me. We are traveling with my 4-year old son who is very complicated to be feed. This hotel was a "breakfast included" option. And, actually, right now when I am planning my next trip it is the same. But breakfast was not included. We were offered to order it "a la cart".

we were given the wrong room because there was no roll in shower but that was corrected

Although the staff were kind and helpful, it was just super slow to check in and check out. It is a normal hotel for business travel, but not good a place you want to stay in Vegas.

Don't overlook this hotel! It has a great location near the Monorail, which is ideal if you choose not to rent a car. The hotel is perfectly situated for attending events at the nearby convention center. Although I didn't attend any events myself, the location was excellent for walking to the Monorail to access the Las Vegas Strip. I will definitely consider staying here again.

Nice and quiet, a little off the strip but close to the monorail station making it easily accessible to the strip! Room was decently comfortable. I loved that there was a shower AND separate tub to do soaks. Staff was very friendly. My toilet’s flush pressure was poor and the soap holders in the shower was connected to the wall with adhesive. It came crashing off the wall randomly in the middle of the night waking me up.

I was expecting more from this chain. The bathroom was dirty, the room was below average, the pool area was super small, and the prices were definitely not fair. We thought it was fairly close to sphere but it was not and it is very hard to get to the strip from there too. The surrounding streets are not very safe to walk around. All around it was a mid stay for high prices, never again.
- 3/5
I liked that it was off the strip and quiet, no casino and a pool. The staff was helpful and the lobby was clean. The faucet in the bathroom did not work, the water pressure was low, and the walls were so thin without insulation I could hear a person in the room next door snoring.

There were many issues in our room that needed attention. First of all, the sliding bathroom door would not stay closed—even though it made a loud noise when we tried to shut it, it kept sliding open on its own. We could only close the shower cabin door by using force with both hands. Also, the faucets were old, and unfortunately, even though housekeeping came every day, they only changed the towels and made the bed without properly cleaning the room. There wasn’t even a chair in our room. The hotel lobby was actually a pleasant place to sit, but unfortunately, it was too cold because of the air conditioning, so it was not really possible to enjoy spending time there.

The location is great. We used the monorail to get to the Vegas strip which is right next door to the Renaissance at the Convention Center. Super easy! Also an easy walk to the SPHERE which is the reason we were in Vegas to see the Eagles. We arrive at the hotel early because we had an early morning flight. The Renaissance was able to store our luggage for us until check in at 3pm. Great service to offer to guest and super friendly staff with a smile. The room was clean bed and pillows comfortable and water was hot! There is a Starbucks on site and an Italian restaurant. We did get coffee and breakfast at Starbucks but didn’t have the chance to eat at Zoi’s the Italian restaurant. The front desk staff was going to text us when our room was available but never did. And the water pressure in the shower was slow. Which are minor issues. We enjoyed our stay and would stay at Renaissance LasVegas again!

When I laid on the mattress it was sunken in & I could feel the springs inside the mattress. I was switched to a different room & the knob to the cold water would fall off every time I turned it. I wanted to give Renaissance a chance because it was very convenient to the convention center, but in the future I will no longer stay @ that hotel.

Location is everything. This hotel is next door to the Las Vegas Convention Center, and on the Monorail line with easy access to all the hotels and attractions on the Strip. The staff was friendly and attentive. There is a Starbucks in the lobby. If you want a quiet oasis away from the hubbub of the Strip, this is the spot! Limited restaurants in the immediate area.

It was a very nice hotel. Everyone was very kind. When asked for certain accommodations, they were taken care of right away. We even received a follow up phone call to make sure our needs had been met. We had 2 handicapped people in a wheelchair. I was hoping for a walk in shower without the tub. The non slip on the tub was old and unfortunately did not have a good grip, My Dad ended up slipping and falling while in the shower.

I reserved a double room and a king room, which I checked in online. This particular receptionist said my reservation came in from Expedia as 2 doubles. I didn't appreciate she obviously wasn't telling the truth. She didn't even take enough time to correct it or offer. My rooms weren't inexpensive. Disappointed my lack of professionalism.

Breakfast was not included in my stay. I've stayed here before and it's proximity to the convention center, and the fact that there is no casino and the entire property is non-smoking is the reason I stay here. Staff is nice and the newly renovated lobby and restaurant look great. The walls are a little thin ...but that seems to be the case at every Las Vegas hotel I've ever stayed in. There was no counter in the bathroom and poor lighting - so for someone who does their make-up, it was a little tricky getting ready each day. But the rooms are clean and comfortable and the price is great. Overall it's a great choice for a business trip and I will stay here again.

Hotel was comfortable. Liked that the shower was separate from the tub. Off strip but easy to get there from the location. Only thing I will say was that the room was warm. We are from the land of cold as well, and we just couldn’t get the room to cool down for some reason. Other than that we will stay again when visiting Vegas.

The hotel was nice and I have to admit it was pleasant not walking out into the casinos… More quiet and peaceful. You definitely need to plan on transportation if you want to get anywhere unless you’re willing to walk over 1 mile to the strip. I did not feel like it was the nicest part of town to be on but it only took us 20 minutes to walk home after the Eagles concert. Restaurants staff super friendly and professional.

Facility and room were actually great. However, room was clearly "Smoking Room" because every time when we come back to the room, all we smell is SMOKE. We notified couple times but they did not do anything till I talked to the manager 1 day before we left.

My husband and I had a great stay at this hotel. We love that it was off the strip but still very close. It was clean, smelled nice and the staff were very professional. We included breakfast when we booked and the food was excellent.

Staff on check was fast and friendly which is what I needed after a 16 hour day of travel. I appreciated the upgrade to a room facing the view rather than the parking lot. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfy, and I loved that there was a coffeeshop onsite. I wish that there would have been a nicer coffee maker in the room, however.

I certainly understand conferences are a busy time. And I want to stay very understanding of that fact. When I checked in, I was putting a double room. I had asked to be in a King room. So I called down to see if I could be switched to a king room When they were done checking everyone in. They said they would get back to me. 30 minutes later I called down again explain the situation I said oh yes of course I’ll give you a call back. Let you know what we can do. 30 more minutes later. I called back down. Explain the situation to someone else. They said oh yes, of course we’ll see if we can get you moved. I called back again after an hour. A different person sounded very understanding that also seemed to have no idea what I was talking about also said they would call me back. Is safe to say I was never called back. My room was not refreshed my entire stay And every call I made each day was not returned. Again I certainly understand it was a busy time. But I have never been ignored in such a way.

And I have to pay an additional parking charges excluding the destination fees. The breakfast choices are limited and has a daily upper limit. It’s their restaurant where you order food from the menu and anything above a certain amount will be charged to you credit card.

I really enjoyed our stay, we loved having breakfast at Zios which was included with the cost of a nights stay up to $50.00. The staff was so helpful when I left my phone in our hotel room after checking out. I would stay again, for sure.

Affordable option within walking distance to The Sphere. Nice property, easy walking distance to monorail platform. Breakfast plan was a good option - waitress for our 3 mornings was exceptional - Marcy.

This was a great stay for me and my family. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They go above for a great experience and hospitality. The hotel is really beautiful and the food was excellent. We also had a great view of the sphere which was a really fun treat. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for our great stay.

The place is clean and the location is great. However, when my family got to the hotel, the concierge said they no longer have a double room as they overbooked. They can only provide a king room or they will refund us and we just have to book at a different hotel which is not option for me as it was already late (10:30 PM) and my kids were already exhausted. I asked if they can at least give us an extra bed but the concierge insisted they don’t have one until I talked to the

A very nice place to stay. Great restaurant, clean room, landscaping around the property and a great location if going to a convention because of its proximity. With that said, if there is a convention, they will close the pool area and rent it out for private parties. We came from south of Buffalo for a convention and see some shows and sit by the pool and enjoy some warmth but found thos was not an option. If I had known prior to booking that the pool area would be closed, we never would have stayed here.
- 5/5
Courteous staff. Quiet property off the strip.
- 5/5
Close to asd convention center
- 3/5
The Zio restaurant was disappointing as they seemed unprepared without simple basics like dinner rolls, fresh veggies in omelettes and inability to make avocado toast. As poorly as the missing menu items were, the wait staff was consistently delightful and accommodating.
- 5/5
I was there for 2 nights. It was a great hotel!
- 4/5
I was in town for the Eagles concert at the Sphere. It was a perfect hotel, much quieter than the Strip. Nice bar to get lunch. One of closest to Sphere. We went over to the strip, and there were long lines to get into restaurants and too many people—a good choice for us.
- 5/5
Wonderful property in walking distance from the monorail and steps from the Las Vegas Convention Center. We walked back to the hotel with other concert goers to avoid the Uber and other congestion after our show at the Sphere. Easy to take Uber to downtown or to the strip. Breakfast was delicious. Management is eager to support any detail or special request and is quite proactive on ensuring a comfortable visit. Highly recommend!

It was wonderful, the staff was amazing, friendly helpful and accommodating. Special thanks for Adelita (restaurant) who made us feel at home. Hotel is nice, room was clean and comfortable, a nice break from the strip but still within blocks from the fun. We will be back
- 2/5
No free wifi, 17$ parking and above all pit us into a king instead of two queen bed due to overbooking. Will not repeat

Overall, satisfied with hotel
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised by The Renaissance. The finishes throughout the hotel are modern, elegant, and clean. The kind size bed was ultra comfortable. The bathroom in my suite had a bathtub and a shower. They even provided cold-pressed juice and snacks (kind bars, rx bar, and chocolate covered almonds). This is definitely my new favorite hotel in vegas! Hottub was great, the gym was great - free weights and cable machine. They even have water bottle filler stations. The food at the onsite restaurant, Zios, is also amazing.
- 5/5
Staff was great, the location was excellent, mono rail close by, and convention center too

In all fairness, there was a car event going on at the convention center next door, but the screaming engines and burning rubber smoke in the parking garage was disconcerting when we arrived at the property. We chose this property due to Monorail access, but the Monorail station access was limited due to this event - we had to navigate through a lot of chain link fencing to find an elevator to the station. The hotel was very nice and the price was reasonable for a one-night stay on a Friday night. We had a great view of The Sphere from our room. Breakfast service was slow but the food was good.
- 5/5
Very clean and comfortable stay! The best option if you are attending a conference because it was like a 2 minute walk to the convention center, right next door. I think the restaurant was understaffed because the food and drinks were great but service time took very long even when the restaurant wasn’t even half full.
- 4/5
Convenient location for SEMA show
- 4/5
The room was very nice, the location is very tight trying to get in and out, the walls are thin so you have lots of background noise, the plus is we had a great view of the Sphere. :)
- 2/5
checked-in staff was unkind and feels disrespectful to us
- 5/5
Having a Starbucks and ups store in the lobby was very convenient

I have lived the Renaissance Las Vegas for years… no casino! The hotel definitely needs some repair, it’s a little shabby, and not as clean as it once was. But I enjoyed my room and the staff.
- 5/5
Great hotel. Amazing staff!!
- 5/5
I thought there was a casino Need a lil store
- 5/5
The property was very nice and clean. The staff were extremely welcoming and professional. The Monorail station being close is nice for a night out.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean facilities, great breakfast and drinks at the bar. I love that it’s so close to the trade show! Will definitely stay there in the future!
- 5/5
Convenient location, nice staff, good amenities. It was nice to have a quieter hotel in Vegas without a casino/noise but close enough to the strip
- 5/5
We were given the highest and best hospitality of any hotel in our travels. In the US and in countries we have booked hotels, this Rennaisance is #1 in all categories. The room was super clean, toiletries were high end and the staff was considerate and helpful. The experience was beyond our expectations.
- 5/5
Very nice room, great view, off the strip but close to everything, great value!
- 3/5
Elevator took about 15-20 mins to arrive. So everytime we went out we had to wait a while. When the elevator did arrive it was packed with people. It was a nightmare, on 1 out of 4 worked
- 5/5
The staff was amazing, Attentive and very pleasant and understanding in addressing issues ! t is away from the strip, and it would be walkable except you may not want to do it at night or when temperatures are hovering at 100°. The only problem with the location when we were there was the elevators were constantly having issues which caused long wait times to get up and down.
- 3/5
Dining was disaster- tables are set in manner that you are eating with person at next table… no lunch
- 4/5
Overall great place. The ice machine was not working on the 14th floor. Definitely would stay here again.
- 5/5
I love it

This hotel is perfect for business travelers. Highly recommend it and will be booking every time.
- 5/5
Great hotel close to convention centers for events.
- 4/5
Great place to stay near convention center
- 5/5
Renaissance is away from the hustle and bustle of The Strip. I loved how quiet it was. I had the breakfast package, so I dined at the Envy both days. Adela took care of me both days and she was the absolute sweetest!! :)
- 5/5
Room was very clean. Beds were very comfortable. Only downside is limited food options. I had complimentary drink, Mini dessert. I didn’t use them because we came in late. Items were good from 12 pm -10 pm. I couldn’t stay for lunch as I had to go see the rest of Las Vegas.
- 1/5
1) Awful check-in experience 2) Internet needs pay to get high speed 3) No buffet breakfast for that price, order menu, take a long time to order and wait too much time if many people 4) No free parking, $17 per day much higher than other big brand hotels for what reason? 4) no tooth paste or any kind of hygiene products 5) No free water 6) no restaurant open at night be hungry if you have no car 7) Check your bill before you pay, get overcharged for all service fee, tax etc
- 5/5
Great basic hotel close to convention center. Not far from the Strip.
- 5/5
Comfortable, clean, good service, food at Starbucks was poor, but otherwise everything was excellent.
- 3/5
Was fine - the shower had mold in it and everything seemed a little tired/musty. Staff however was excellent and always extremely nice and accommodating.
- 5/5
I love how close it is to the Strip, yet not on the Strip. It is right next to a Monorail Station, and it is one stop away from the Strip. It is a very nice hotel. Always clean, rooms are well kept. This is the first hotel I consider when staying in Las Vegas.
- 5/5
Great hotel, view, and friendly courteous staff!!
- 1/5
This is a mediocre property at best. The A/C in the room wasn't working and it was extremely hot. I went to search for staff at 3 AM and could not find anyone. The next day I checked out and let them know. They did nothing about it.
- 2/5
Had to switch rooms. First one was disgusting, running toilet, and not clean. Second was a little better. All public doors, elevators, etc had handprints all over and clearly aren’t getting cleaned. Property needs an update.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and hotel! Friendly staff too!
- 5/5
My experience was lovely. The hotel was clean and everyone was nice.
- 1/5
they canceled us when we got there and sent 6 of us to another hotel. They never paid for our parking and Uber and any other inconvenience.
- 5/5
Loved it
- 4/5
It was close to the convention center and the monirail
- 4/5
Very close to the south convention center.
- 2/5
Room Nextdoor played loud music starting at 5am every morning and nothing was done about it
- 5/5
The thermostat did not operate correctly. Other than that it was a wonderful stay.
- 5/5
Took advantage of their bag check after checking out of the room. Really appreciated the vouchers for drinks we received too - Made the bar experience really nice! Room was comfortable and very clean. The only item to note is that the cleaning staff were a bit loud in the mornings in the hallway. But it wasn't a dealbreaker - Would definitely stay here again!
- 4/5
Beautiful Mountain View’s. Friendly staff. Great food with large portions from room service
- 4/5
Although pool water was too good, could be warmer.
- 5/5
Very good and conveniently located Hotel!
- 4/5
Close to the Convention Center. Decent hotel but, restaurant is under staffed, expensive, and lousy.
- 5/5
There were only a couple issues: I had asked for an additional comforter at check in and never received it. Housekeeping came and tidied up, but didn't clean: the bathroom floor was a mess. Also, lotion wasn't restocked, which is kind of a big deal because it's Las Vegas. Lastly, a light went out in the bathroom and it was either ignored or never turned on (I just assumed it would have been checked). Overall, I would absolutely stay here again.
- 1/5
All night water pipe make noise I pay 1200 dollars 3 night just waste it
- 2/5
I had better customer services. I had to stay on hold for a long time and got hanged up twice. Rude responded twice as well.
- 5/5
The monorail station was steps away, making the Strip moments away. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
- 3/5
The property itself is pretty close to the convention centre and well maintained. I too issue with the paid internet which I found entirely too expensive
- 5/5
Check in was fast and thorough. Location of property to the LV strip was perfect without the noise.
- 3/5
Overpriced for a somewhat dated facility.
