Reviews
The Plaza Hotel and Casino receives mixed reviews, with guests appreciating its convenient location near Fremont Street but expressing disappointment with various aspects of the rooms and services. The hotel seems to be in need of updates and better maintenance.

Would definitely stay here again.

Clean room & casino, friendly staff. Would have liked longer hours for the pickleball court. ( Way too hot to play outside during their current available hours.) Great experience.

Amazing location, clean room, UPS store in the hotel to ship things home cheaper than additional luggage on the flight. Pool and hot tub on the roof are great - but close at 5pm like most in Vegas. If you want to enjoy Fremont Street this is a great location.

They have made the swimming pool into an unenjoyable place. There are not enough lounges for everyone unless you want to pay. I booked there just to go to the pool and have some leisure Time and that was not possible the way it was..

- 1/5
No coffee available in rooms and bath/toilet area very small, cramped and had to pay for parking which was supposed to be free per Yolanda Castillo.
- 4/5
Beds were comfy, water pressure in the shower needs updated. TV and cable had glitches. Light went out in the bathroom and it was taken care of FAST. I would stay again.
- 5/5
2 Queen Bed mattresses and pillows were very comfortable. We had a great view of Fremont St and its very nice to just be able to walk outside and be at Fremont. Room was clean and comfortable. The furniture is a little dated but served its purpose. The bloody mary with bacon at the Hash House is amazing and the menu has many yummy food and drink options. Staff throughout the casino was very helpful. Parking is free and easy to get to via the elevator. There are a variety of slot and table games.

Loved the rates Loved the location Breakfast restaurant was amazing! Pink box donuts were delicious Love having the carousel bar right outside of hotel Bathrooms a bit tight but managed Pool music is the same mix never changes Pool doesn’t wow you especially with the circa stadium staring at you from the pool You could hear music from Fremont loud and clearly at night but it’s Vegas

This place was great. We got there early and they let us do an early check-in so we could go hang out at the pool and not have to worry about coming back down and checking in. The staff was great and the receptionist at the check-in desk went above and beyond to make sure we had all the information we needed.

The room was quite nice even though there was a mixup on the room type I reserved a smoking room and was told i was staying in a smoking room. Upon entering the room, it was a non-smoking floor, and the front desk girl was rude and impatient and kept demanding $25 additional to change. That was very frustrating

Free parking, huge bonus in Vegas! Gentleman that checked us in was lovely and so helpful. Room was a good size and clean. Pool area is okay, no complaints from us for the price we paid. Even in a 'quieter' area of the hotel be prepared that you are VERY close to Fremont Street so it does get loud through the night. We did ask for a refill of our free waters but they never appeared.

It was ok, but first they tell us that if we want that they clean the room, ask 4 hours before, and when we ask them, they said that it should be one day before!

The room was okay. It is very smoky due to the casino that is the main issue
- 5/5
Loved it, will be back soon !
- 4/5
Room was nice and clean and spacious. Reserved a cabana for Saturday of our stay which was cut short because some idiots decided to fight in the pool which left a bloody mess. That was a bummer, but the management did what they could to help make our time enjoyable and offered us a free cabana for the following day - unfortunately we were departing and couldn’t take them up on it. Was able to check out late as well for a small fee. One thing I didn’t know was that most of the casino allowed smoking - so chose not to gamble (which I would have liked too) as I am an asthmatic. Overall, would stay there again if I was looking for another Fremont experience. The location was perfect. Right at the edge of all the entertainment yet peaceful when we got back to the room.
- 5/5
Honestly, this place pretty good. I heard mixed reviews but when I went with my husband for a small vacay because we work all the time and need time together. Keep the relationship alive so to say. Customer service was amazing. Close entertainment, so you dont have to walk to far and waist more time. We personally didn't have much of. Quick booze or something psychedelic, if thats your thing. LGBTQ friendly, so nothing to worry about there. 😊 If you dont want to hear sound from the boardwalk in your room you can ask for a quieter one. But it only made me and my husband want to go out and have fun! The room was clean and what you'd expect. Honestly for what me and my husband were looking for, it was perfect. We are making our way to each hotel down the strip. See you again soon. -Cali
- 4/5
The rooms were clean and on the bigger side. The front desk was super helpful and super kind.
- 3/5
It’s was ok , they take advantage of you if go for EDC so be aware of up charging and resort fee on top of that even tho when any other time they do not charge - and staff at front desk not helpful - felt like I was bothering them - but parking attendants were very nice and helpful the resort was ok close to everything on Fremont street.
- 1/5
However, soon I got to my room, I realized that he didn’t seem that clean. I noticed dust everywhere, especially built up around the phone and lamp by the bed which easily looks like it hasn’t been clean in weeks. Both the shower and the sink just filled up with water as they wouldn’t drain properly. And when I went to bed as I pulled back the sheets, there was a huge smear of some substance near the pillow, which looked like chocolate or dried blood, meaning they haven’t changed the sheets since the previous guest. Since it was super late at night and I had to get up early for a flight, I just slept in the other bed. When I went to check out in the morning, I went to the front desk and explained what I saw, and they just shrugged it off. I will never go back to this resort and I really hope someone in the senior position reads us to ensure the quality cleanliness of their hotel gets better. Disgusting.

- 3/5
Don't get the room with the view of Fremont street, it super loud. The hotel is old and outdated. Stains on the couch and thick dust on the seiling. Overall ok for a night or two.

Parking are on stall tiny be careful. I asked front desk host about parking time after check out and she was rude in giving back the key and answering that we can come out whenever. Like she was upset I even went to go check out to get my receipt. After we played walked around and had breakfast at the restaurant we were allowed to leave the parking with our key. So she was wrong. It was not till 11. We had to walk back from the exit but luckily sercurity called an attendant to come help up and the boy was very helpful in letting us out. Please front desk get your facts straight on check out procedures.

I liked everything g except being in south tower too far, and no microwave! And I was very disappointed when I checked in after a 2 hour wait, to find the housekeeper sleeping on my floor wrapped in a sheet! My door was open and light was off! I startled her! And she was like oh my bad, like it was allowed and acceptable it is not! She almost gave me a heart attacks! Not cool

I really liked the staff very and courteous. We were asked if we were staying there or not. The swimming pool hours are a close little early, but very clean and relaxing. The only thing I would say is to wash the windows in the North Tower its such a beautiful view of Fremont Street Experience from your hotel room. This hotel really has a good advantage being in that location just make a few changes. Overall, it was a good stay 4 days and 3 nights.

Simple room. You get what you pay for, so it's a decent and peaceful stay. Staff is helpful but our room wasn't thoroughly cleaned before our check in. Used bottles were under the desks, and the sinks and bathtubs smelled a bit like sewage if you got close enough. Not too bad to deter me from booking again though.
- 5/5
Great place to stay on Fremont street.
- 5/5
The Plaza is always a great place to stay! Right at the end of Fremont Street, you get a little bit off the track of the crowds, yet just cross the street and there you are, in the middle of all the fun Fremont Street offers!

food was ok,casino ok, toiletries miniature size, room was clean first day, after that you have to request housekeeping a day in advance or they wont clean it,we got a free upgrade to a suite from a regular room but it was a smoking room and the smell was just awful only positive thing and thumbs up for the free parking, overall the experience was 4/10

You guys definitely need new people at the coffee shop the girls on Monday morning 5/18 at 7am were so rude
- 1/5
The odor that came from the drains was sewage level, they charged me a premium price, couldn't change our room or correct the problem. Checked out early cause it was so bad, they mentioned they would refund my second night, but I had to go through who I booked the room with for the refund. Once I did, they denied it stating policy. As a local, this hotel might have been great 50 years ago, but it truly declined and brings down the reputation Vegas has.
- 4/5
Upon initially walking into the room, it looked and smelled “clean”. However, when I went into the bathroom, there was dry urine still on toilet seat. There looked to be dry water marks as if they just wiped the seat with a wet rag. This left a very unclean feeling for me the rest of the stay. Made me wonder, if they don’t thoroughly clean and sanitize an obvious place for germs, what else are they skipping over or not paying attention to. Furthermore, when I picked up the phone to call the front desk, the phone felt grimey. I come to Vegas every year and alway stay multiple nights. I loved the convenience of this particular hotel/resort. However, I will not be booking at the Plaza anymore.
- 2/5
Make sure you don’t use the rooms phone to get Maintenance instead head down to the registration area for help. I called for help and no one responded to my request over the phone.

Very disappointed the property was very outdated. The tub was filthy. Hair was in it and the refrigerator was extremely dirty and I actually took pictures. Very dissatisfied. Will never even come back.
- 3/5
Our luggage was taken care of superiorly. The beds, pillows, towels smelled like used and dingy. Pillows smell of perspiration and body parts. Limited food selection. Nonsmoking still coming through vents etc. Bathrooms constantly urine odor. However, felt safe, no covertly rude people . Shows or music would have enhanced the atmosphere. Also no movies available to purchase. or Internet to select from.

I loved the walking distance to the Fremont Experience. I didn't like the no carpet. I wish there was a fridge for water and Gatorade in100° weather. The sounds from the Fremont experience seemed to penatrate the windows. The windows were really dirty. The shower/toilet room is extremely small. The walk from the parking garage to the registration desk was forever and then back to the room in south tower was long... and a bit confusing. The registration area is so loud.

Ten years ago for my 1st time in Vegas I stayed at the plaza. 7 and 8 years ago I stayed other places on the strip and both times I said the Plaza was nicer than those places. So I stayed at the Plaza this time (2026) and nothing has changed much except the plaza feels dated n didn't have the amenities I grown use to. I had to buy an extension cord my 1st night because the outlets were hidden or out of reach. Had food left overs and no place in the entire hotel to reheat my food. Floors looked and felt dirty constantly. Staff seemingly looked unhelpful. I can't really recommend Plaza anymore as a must stay. I will recommend if you're on a budget though.
- 4/5
Great Hotel in the Fremont District. Close to music, food and night life.
- 3/5
Very outdated even though they did an update a few yrs ago. Staff are lacking enthusiasm, friendliness, energy. No entertainment, nothing that draws you to want to be there. The parking staff were extremely rude. The parking ticket booth to get out wasnt working when we went to leave after check out, us and 5 others were trapped inside until someone who was staying there used their ket card to get us out. Theres no ootion to push help or anyone around to help. Very unorganized and cluttered parking area with broken gates, fencing equipment, ect around. Only stayed there cause it was cheap but will be paying more to stay somewhere else that is more lively and friendly from now on.

Clean, kind staff, loved the location

I asked for extra sheets and they gave me sheets that had blood stains on them. I was bothered by housekeeping at 9 in the morning when check out is at 11 asking me when I was getting up. Very rude! And then they came back at 10:50 as I was getting ready to depart. Checkin counter woman was very rude when I asked for a room that was not close to the elevator she gave me one right next to the elevator. The whole experience was horrible

Clean and Comfortable , large rooms, with great views. The north tower faces the mountains and airport. The south view faces the strip. Coffee machines, water and all amenities are available. We had a shower in our room, which was great for us. Two large beds. We were by the train line and the trains did rumble past, nearly every day. The room was dark, making it hard to see. No rail in the shower to hold on to, for unsteady legs. And only one chair, but apart from that we have stayed before and we chose to stay there again, so we are happy.

We stayed at the Plaza for a week. Parking was never an issue. It was very quiet. Conveniently located. We will definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Not well maintained. Bathroom smells of urine, floors made my feet black. Food cafeteria but restaurant prices
- 4/5
Did not like how the cigar and cigarette smoke was so prevalent in the casino and in the alongside food services.
- 4/5
The atmosphere was awesome, and I’ll definitely choose downtown again because of how convenient and lively it is. Restaurants on-site were a big highlight—Oscar’s and Hash House A Go Go were both excellent, and even the pizza spot impressed. The Carousel Bar was an absolute A+ and a must-visit. The only downside was the noise from the room. Ours faced Fremont and Circa, and at times it felt like there was a boom box right outside our window. That said, my son and I got used to it after the first night, and it didn’t bother us much after that. Honestly, the view helped make up for it, so it’s a trade-off depending on what you’re looking for. All in all, a really fun stay in a prime location. If you don’t mind a little noise—or can adapt to it—the Plaza is a great choice for experiencing downtown Vegas the right way.

Pool. Staff. Location, cleanliness, bed, view Intake staff was very long winded and gave more info than I wanted
- 2/5
The room was awful smelled really bad. I guess you get what you pay for but this was worse than I expected. Just basic things like the shower soap dispensers were empty and of course don’t expect your room cleaned while you stay there.
- 5/5
My room have long black hairs in the bathroom and I’m blonde so I know they weren’t mine and the toilet also had black hairs on it. I would expect a refund on some resort fees going to a dirty room.
- 5/5
Great location nice size room
- 1/5
Husband ended up in icu on life support the day before we were suppose to come. Sent in documentation ffom hospital and they would not refund me. Very disappointed and will not be staying here again.
- 4/5
The room was spacious and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful with questions. Staff were very pleasant.
- 3.5/5
Spacious gym with weights, they also have some machines, kettle balls, weight balls, bosu balance trainers and punching bags No microwave in room or on site, no larger refrigerator available for temporary storage of larger items
- 5/5
Great stay. Hotel, hotel staff and amenities were great. Will return and stay in the future.

-Food was good -Steps from Freemont -Need remodeling -Lumpy Bed -Dusty -Insufficent outlets -
- 4.5/5
Only one mirror over the sink in the room.
- 5/5
Perfect location to enjoy Check in took about 1.5
- 2/5
Location was good. We have stayed at this hotel twice a year for a long time, but this recent experience was unacceptable. Upon checking in, our room had a very strong, unpleasant odor. When I brought this to the manager's attention, he was completely dismissive. He didn't even check his system for other rooms; he simply said they were fully booked and promised to send someone up to help. No one ever showed up. We eventually had to go to a store ourselves to buy air freshener just to make the room livable. After years of loyalty, we are now looking for a new place to stay.
- 3/5
Staff was mostly unfriendly. Bathrooms/showers were designed for people under 5’ and 100#. Halls and such were dirty. Depending on your room you will either get to listen to Fremont all night or be woken up by trains. Good location to stay for the fact you’re so close to the Circa. Wasn’t a fan of extra $50 charges that hit my card after checking out for more resort fees. Pink Donut and Hash Hash were great options for food. Didn’t expect much from Plaza since it was such a cheap option but somehow it didn’t even live up to those low expectations.
- 5/5
Needs update in rooms
- 5/5
Randall at check in was so very nice.
- 4/5
Ok
- 5/5
i liked everything
- 3/5
I liked the location, the room was clean but check in was a long wait
- 4/5
The food and the staff at the hash house are excellent, room was clean, parking gargae is a little bit of a walk to the north side to get to registration for your room , no valet parking,as far as getting to everything its awsome, you can walk rignt to all the attractions other food casinos.location is great, do have to drive to get to the strip, but if you dont go to the strip you can park walk to all the places to see on Fremont St make sure you got walking shoes on all in all good location
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Had a great time
- 2/5
The room was in poor condition the AC did not work properly, the room was not clean well hairs on the bathroom floor and bathtub.
- 5/5
Enjoyed the stay and they even upgraded our room. Pool was perfect.
- 1/5
Housekeeping was great, but the room overall was smelly and gross. I specifically requested a king size non smoking room. As I’m checking in I’m told there’s no more king size bed available they were upgrading me to a 2 bed with a view. Ok cool. As I get to room the room was a smoking room and it smelled terrible like cigarettes and mold. I call Front desk to request to be changed and I’m told I’m sorry this is all we have you can call us back at 6a to see if there’s anything available. It was 1a! When I checked In I’m exhausted. They sent housekeeping to spray the room. I call In the morning still nothing. No compensation back nothing at all.
- 4/5
Room was decor was scarce and walls paper thin could hear neighbors all night. Best thing is location to Freemont street and Really good breakfast spot at HHAgogo
- 1/5
This hotel was nasty. Stayed here 2 years ago and it was fine. This stay was gross. Dirty rooms, outdated, thin walls, old TV, Just a nasty place.
- 4/5
Food options at the resort weren't stellar but then you are right at Fremont St. so go find something.
- 3/5
Nice place
- 2/5
Cheap but not comf
- 4/5
Very fun!
- 5/5
Combo pizza was great!
- 5/5
Did not eat breakfast but the casino was very clean and fun.
- 4/5
Close to everything friendly staff
- 4/5
I purchased my breakfast at the coffee bar downstairs, which was great. The staff is very helpful friendly the only drawback I can say was that the bathroom is very small. Other than that I would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Clean rooms and comfortable beds and pillows. Having those are the essentials! Pool was amazing!
- 3/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Everything was good
- 5/5
Nice big, clean room. Very comfortable bed. Great staff at the front desk. Great location downtown.
- 5/5
.
- 1/5
Don't check in late because it's thru 3rd party you are at the bottom of the list and will give away your room cut our vacation short
- 3/5
The walls were dusty in my room and three separate times the casino waitress asked if I wanted a cocktail and ran away before I could get a word out so I never got a drink.
- 5/5
We loved staying here! Room was great except the fridge froze everything no matter the setting. Great location and walking distance to everything we needed.
- 2/5
It was ok
- 4/5
Room was clean and stocked with plenty of towels. Been awhile since staying here, so I forget that in standard room only the shower & toilet have a door, not the actual bathroom sink.
- 2/5
Staff was amazing, rooms clean, one room had too much deodorizer and had to switch. Reason for 2 stars is due to my 2024 Toyota Sequoia front tire wheel caps were stolen in the parking garge. Cost me $105 for replacement.
- 5/5
The bathroom door is a sliding door only. So if there’s people
- 4/5
Huge casino close to fremont
- 2/5
No breakfast available
- 4/5
They shouldn’t have smoking in the casinos smelled pretty bad, room was great
- 5/5
We love staying here we come back all the time. Everything‘s close by rooms are comfortable.
- 5/5
I enjoyed the new slot games and the new version of Roulette. I also got a bingo that time after 30 years of visiting Las Vegas.
- 5/5
Todo estuvo muy bien y limpio
- 4/5
DO NOT PLAY THE SLOTS HERE!!! RIPOFF! Then there’s the resort fee RIPOFF! Otherwise, if you can get this hotel for a decent price, stay here. I’ve been visiting Vegas for over 30 years and have stayed here several times without issues. This hotel is typical Vegas with the convenience of walking out the door and being on Fremont St if that’s your thing.
- 2/5
I have no service in my room for the 3 days on my stay.
- 3/5
Great food. Hated the smoking in the casino. Ruined the casino experience
- 5/5
It was great for the price I paid, my only complaint is that the shower water pressure was low.
- 4/5
Todo
- 5/5
Disappointed with the food options but found other food options outside of the resort.
- 5/5
The beds are SO comfy!! The restaurants in the hotel were AWESOME!
- 3/5
We had no hot water and even though the maintenance guy came and explained that you have to flush the toilet and run the water in the tub and sink to get the hot water to our room it seemed like I still ended up with luke warm water. The tv didn't work most of the time, it was either buffering or the remote quite working. The little restaurant downstairs was very good food. Overall, I would not stay at the Plaza again.
- 1/5
Room was not clean at all
- 3/5
dime you to death. Uncertain about cost to go swimming, no help around to explain cost to pool was not free had to pay. Unclear about charge. Last time I well go back to Vegas. The only positive was playing Bingo which was fun. And leaving.
- 5/5
I absolutely love it there. Definitely a reasonable rate along with awesome amenities. The entire staff was also very friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back.
- 5/5
Susan at the front desk was amazing! Bed and pillows were great, we slept like babies. Overall we had a good stay.
- 5/5
I have stayed at the plaza many times and each time it gets better and better. Slice.
- 5/5
The room was great!
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Amazing stay! The energy on the floor was great, the rooms were super comfortable, and the service was great.
- 4/5
Great location
- 3/5
Is it a "Nice" hotel?? No. But it gets the job done. It's Fremont.. I mean, fremont is not exactly known for being classy. But it's fun. And this hotel is incredibly conveniently located. Parking was easy and the room was clean. Probably won't stay again tho.
- 4/5
Restaurant
- 4/5
My only real complaint is that there is a $45 resort fee at check in, which I assumed is for the pool, but the pool closes one hour after check in. I stayed here specifically so I could enjoy the hot tub at night, but it is only open from 9-5. I had to get on the road at 7 AM, so I only got one hour in the hot tub, which was a major reason for staying here. I tried my key at night in the chance that people staying at the hotel could still get in, but no luck. I probably would have chosen a different hotel had I realized, so passing this information along to others who may miss that detail like I did.
- 4/5
Clean room and the staff were excellent. We had to cut or stay short due to death in the family and the front desk staff where so kind and we also was refunded the two days back which was again so kind. We will recommend the Plaza to family and friends.
- 4/5
Great stay. Was a bit run down but staff was great. Would recommend Oscar's for dinner and Hash House for breakfast.
- 5/5
Great location to walk around on fremont.
- 3/5
It's an old hotel and that's what you get. Room carpet cleanliness was questionable with spots of whatever. Front desk employee very nice. The Hash restaurant was excellent and very good prices.
- 4/5
Great stay. Would have preferred a better room, and would have liked room to be cleaned throughout stay. However, no other issues other than that. But would stay again.
- 3/5
Would not stay there again , no daily housekeeping (only if you give them 24 hr notice)the room amenities were non existent, it definitely not worth the money we put out .
- 4/5
Great location is why we chose the Plaza. We stayed in the North Tower on the 11th floor, and we could hear the music all night from the downstairs club. I don't think the housekeeping department knows how to use the hose on the vacuum cleaner and they never cleaned the hallway the whole time we were there. The best part was the front check-in counter staff.
- 5/5
Nice
- 5/5
Extra friendly staff, and remodeled rooms. Very nice stay.
- 4/5
Great location, wonderful staff. The room was clean but even the non smoking rooms have a smell of stale smoke. The bathroom was very small but the view is the strip from the room was lovely. We also chose this location for the hot tub option but it was only open 9-5, a resort shouldn’t keep bankers hours with the hot tub. We would stay on Fremont again but would try another hotel.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, older but nice and clean rooms
- 2/5
AC did not work and did not fix it the the shower dispenser was empty as well as the sink dispenser so no soap anywhere called ground deal and waited two hr with no response to any standee request
- 5/5
Clean room, great check in experience! Thanks!
- 5/5
Very clean.
- 4/5
Rooms were huge but a little dated. Restroom was small. Overall good stay.
- 3/5
The room was decent enough to sleep in and chill in for the time being. It was directly across from Freemont. You still hear music on higher floors but it wasnt bad. If youre looking for a hotel right in the action on the Old strip in Vegas the Plaza is the spot. I would definitely stay there again just to not deal with the hassle of las vegas blvd.
- 5/5
I absolutely enjoyed my stay here. I stayed on New Years day and partook of the Freemont street experience. The location is awesome and I had a great view from my rpoom that overlooked fremont street. That donut place that everyone goes to Vegas for is downstairs. Pinkbox donuts. I got the PB and J donut that was so amazing. And I got a donut that looked like poo and it tasted amazing. That donut place is worth staying here alone. And then the restaurantThe Hash House A-Go-Go. Man, the food they have there is soooo good. Be sure to have breakfast there. You wont be dissappointed. Their coffee is yummy too.
- 5/5
Check in staff was awesome, very helpful. Rooms are updated and clean.
- 5/5
Yes
- 3/5
They placed us in the south tower ive never been in the south tower before. South tower seems to be outdated and smells weird. Rooms are ok but nothing like the north tower. Also the noise level was noticeable unlike north tower.
- 5/5
Everything in general! Our entire stay way awesome! East check-in and out, pleasant employees and large rooms!
- 5/5
The room was nice but the noise from Fremont St was a bit too much. The next time I will request a room on the opposite side of the hallway.
- 5/5
The room was great. Check in did take a bit long, but I did arrive pretty late into the night as well. Regardless, the staff were nice and courteous. Really great location which makes it easy to walk around and enjoy the other nearby amenities in Fremont.
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Clean room!
- 3/5
The staff was very courteous and helpful the room was okay, but the North tower is supposedly nonsmoking and the HVAC system is recycling air with cigarette smoke into the room.
- 3/5
Room the toilet ran every five minutes, fan kept running and shutting off every few minutes, no microwave or coffee maker.
- 3/5
Room was ok bathroom is way to small
- 1/5
Terrible hotel!
- 4/5
Room was fine, bathroom was a bit small. Enjoyed restaurant, great food big portions
- 1/5
Was told price included all taxes and fees. Still had to pay resort fee at property. Room smelled funny. Check out took quite awhile.
- 4/5
Clean and fun
- 3/5
Friendly and informative staff. We were in the North tower; the room was in good condition; however, it was impossible to sleep at night due to the booming bass of the music outside that literally vibrated our bed. I was also disappointed that the Carousel Bar outside didn't have prices in the menu-and that it cost $27 for 2 16 oz drinks.
- 5/5
I’ve stayed here many times and will continue to do so as long as their prices stay reasonable.
- 4/5
I hate having to preschedule room cleaning. Called twice for a towel refresh and then only got one towel. Chair in room needs reupholstering or deep cleaning. Yellow lights in sink area desperately need to be changed to a bright light where you can see better. Liked having 24/7 food accessible via Subway. Casino was nice. Conference area was very nice.
- 4/5
Staff, location
- 3/5
The room was fine.
- 1/5
Front desk lady was rude and disrespectful
- 4/5
staff was nice and room was clean
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Have been better not upgraded.
- 1/5
The room was dimly lite even with all lights on and only had 1 mirror. You pay $44.07 daily resort fee and DONT get a microwave, coffee maker, maid service unless you book in advance. Part of the listed resort fee is the pool/jacuzzi which closed at 5 pm ( nothing should xliae at 5 pm in vegas)
- 5/5
Decent
- 3/5
It was okay. The room m is very outdated!! If you’re going to rate your hotel as a 4 star you definitely need to upgrade the rooms! It’s was very loud at night trying to sleep
- 1/5
- received a smoking room with double beds. It was just terrible. It’s dated and beat-up. Management was awful too. Not helpful at all because we booked through Expedia. I have no idea where the rating comes from but don’t stay here.
- 5/5
Exelente
- 4/5
Hotel was clean, the facilities were good, staff was friendly and attentive. It was very convenient to downtown. Bathrooms were kind of small and dated. Good hot water, but lower water pressure. Overall, it was a good experience.
- 5/5
Room was clean, staff was great.
- 4/5
Great staff but waited a long time to checkin
- 5/5
The location is great if you like Fremont Street and I like Fremont Street.
- 5/5
Great environment and everyone was super nice
- 4/5
Location of room near pickleball courts
- 4/5
Great property
- 2/5
I had 2 rooms on the 9th floor in the south tower. The plumbing in both rooms were awful. When you run the water in the tub to shower the tub fills up and took forever for the water to drain. When you flush the toilets they were making noise like the pipes were clogged. Also in room 934 the floor of the bathtub had black stains towards and around the drain.
- 4/5
Great staff
- 1/5
This hotel is terrible. Do not stay here. The window in my room was not sealed and the wind whistled all night long! When I asked to be moved they said all the rooms had this problem. I finally solved it by using duck tape! Terrible terrible experience.
- 5/5
The Plaza is in a very nice location. The hotel is very nice. The staff is very nice.
- 2/5
The gate to get out kept not working kept demagnetizing our room keys. And took 1 whole day to get extra toilet paper people at the front desk are very rude we go there to relax not to deal with attitudes! This hotel has a good location that’s why we keep coming back but this will be our last stay here.
- 2/5
The tub was stopped up and the tv did not work. Also heard the neighboring room having very loud sex most of the last night there leaving me very tired and irritable for my travels back home
- 4/5
Clean courteous
- 4/5
Clean and comfortable
- 4/5
Muy céntrico la verdad
- 5/5
Room is clean and service is good
- 5/5
Had a wonderful stay at the Plaza. The beds were probably the comfiest hotel beds I’ve ever stayed in. We had an issue with our bathtub not wanting to drain and when we called for maintenance they were quick to send someone up to get it fixed. Will definitely be staying here again next year for our Vegas trip! Great hotel, great staff, great casino . 10/10.
- 4/5
Staff was very nice. Bathroom too small
- 2/5
Food selection was poor and not very tasteful. Pricing was completely out of control for a subway sandwich, 16.99 for a 6 inch meal. TV was hazy an would lose signal.
- 4/5
Staff were polite, in house restaurant and don’t shop were great!
- 5/5
Everything was good.
- 5/5
Will at the front desk was great! Very helpful!
- 1/5
Bed bugs in the south tower rooms And just unfriendly attitude from the entire staff at the front First and last stay at this hotel
- 5/5
Room clean. Location great. Great amenities.
- 3/5
It was fine could tell it is a older hotel
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great location, fun & clean atmosphere, lots of gaming available, awesome experience
- 3/5
Rooms outdated, super small bathroom and very loud AC machine, uncomfortable beds.
- 5/5
Staff was considerate
- 5/5
It’s a good place friendly staff
- 1/5
Hotels.com and the Plaza overcharged me. Neither took accountability for the overcharge. I was charged the full room rate by hotels.com, then charged the full price of the room once arriving. The hotel stated they did not receive a payment from hotels.com. Hotels.com states the hotel did not charge me for the full room price although I have bank statements and receipts. Don’t use 3rd parties for hotel bookings, it’s a mess every time.
- 5/5
Yes nice room!
- 4/5
Cant wait for the rest of the plaza to be updated. Always agreat stay friendly staff and comfy rooms. Stay away from fremont side if you dont like loud music.
- 5/5
Very Nice place the hot water didn’t get very hot but other than that it was very nice
- 5/5
Clean, no smells, comfortable, really great and terrific
- 4/5
Front desk clerk was not overly patient. I had booked (and paid) for a king room, he said I got 2 queens beds. When I asked about the possibility to change, and he was short and dismissive, saying it wasn't possible, and that was the end of that. Our shower was not properly cleaned upon arrive and we had our smoke alarm go off at 2am due to a burning smell coming from our air-conditioner. It was too late to switch rooms but were offered a different room. Casino staff were amazing. Uber picks ups should be more clearly displayed - we had weird pick ups from each driver
- 5/5
Clean room , amenities and spacious
- 4/5
no stopper for the sink so you couldn’t fill the sink up -just ran right down the drain ,otherwise I was pretty pleased
- 2/5
Room was neglected
- 3/5
Room was very outdated. Couch had stains on it. Bathroom door had dirty stuff stuck all over it. Bed was ok. Casino was average and staff was nice. But honestly if we were going to be in our room for more than just mainly sleeping I would have went elsewhere. We were on the 21st floor North Towers. Good downtown location. Don't plan on staying there again.
- 5/5
Nice room.
- 5/5
Room was nice. Bed was a touch hard for my taste but overall would stay there again
- 1/5
If you like warm, umid rooms to sleep in then go for it. I was in room 1405. They absolutely override the A/C unit. It was miserable. I would not stay there again.
- 5/5
Room was clean. Close proximity to Fremont Street. Great dinner at Oscar’s. Overall really good value.
- 4/5
Clean Rooms Staff were very helpful & great place right on Fremont Street
- 4/5

- 4/5
Great for the price!
- 5/5
Great location and parking Maid service was awesome!
- 5/5
For an old casino this place is great. And the person helping me at check in was super helpful and even got an awesome top floor room.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed our stay
- 5/5
Celebrating 70th birthday for my mom a time was had
- 5/5
.
- 5/5
Clean rooms & attentive staff at check in desk. We had a room that faced Fremont St, which was loud late into the night. If you’re a light sleeper, I’d request a different location.
- 3/5
Cool but it stunk
- 1/5
resort fees are a highway robbery when they are not honoring what they are supposedly for . don't stay here look somewhere else
- 1/5
I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at the Plaza Hotel, which was both unpleasant and distressing, particularly given that I was traveling with my children. From the beginning, the level of professionalism displayed by management and front desk staff was unacceptable. The daytime manager, Arby, was dismissive and unresponsive when I attempted to explain several serious issues that affected our stay. At no point did she listen attentively or address my concerns with the professionalism one would expect from a resort of this caliber. The guest in the room next to ours was excessively loud throughout the night, making it impossible for my children and me to sleep. When I brought this to management’s attention, my concerns were brushed aside. Additionally, while my daughter was sleeping, someone from the adjoining room attempted to open the connecting door between our rooms. This was extremely alarming. When I reported this to Arby, she stated that she did not care and that it was my responsibility. I strongly believe guest safety is the responsibility of the hotel, not the guest. Compounding these issues, the sheets in our room smelled strongly of smoke. I am a non-smoker, and the odor made it difficult for me to breathe comfortably. This is not only unpleasant but raises concerns about cleanliness and room standards. Furthermore, there were not enough towels provided in the room, which added to the overall inconvenience.
- 5/5
The best
- 2/5
Second day/night no hot water. Couldn’t showered before bed or before leaving to check out next morning. Alerted front desk but no results.
- 4/5
N/a
- 3/5
I did not like the room for the past 12 years I have been staying at the plaza Hotel it need to clean a little better before the guests go inside thank you.
- 2/5
We were under the impression all the rooms were newly renovated- they are not. Unless you book one of their fancy rooms. We asked to switch rooms because it was super loud and then to make matters worse we went to get into bed and there was a massive brown red stain on the sheets. Disgusting. It did not feel clean. Never staying again
- 3/5
Room was nice but their restaurant staff really need to get their act together
- 1/5
The rooms are very out-dated and dirty. Mold in showers. Check-in took about 1 hour. Walking distance to Freemont Street though.
- 5/5
clean room, friendly staff and close to freemont street
- 4/5
Not enough staff
- 5/5
Room was good and location excellent for entertainment
- 5/5
The room was very nice and quiet
- 5/5
Great. Stay
- 4/5
Check in/out and staff were great. The water pressure was below par in the shower. Conveniently located, safe and clean facility.
- 4/5
The only issue was the call to the bell desk that was never answered. So i Called the front desk for help with my luggage and an hour later I carried my Own things to my car. I made 3 trips to The parking garage. I will be rethinking where i stay next June when i come back to Vegas. called the front
- 2/5
The shower kept backing up had to have maintenance come multiple times, the sink was making a awful gurgling noise all night,
- 4/5
Great room friendly staff and perfect location
- 3/5
Location was great, right at the end of Fremont street. Parking was included so that was nice not to have an additional cost for parking. Overall the hotel is nice, but the rooms aren’t the cleanest. They could use some updating as well. The beds were comfortable, but the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. We needed to ask for more. We were there 3 days and housekeeping didn’t come at all. The pool is nice.
- 4/5
Comfortable beds, good location. Be mindful there is no automatic housekeeping and it must be booked one day prior to needing it. We were not informed of this upon check in so there was a lot of calls to housekeeping for towels, toilet paper, garbage removal. If travelling as a family where some members use washroom to change, these bathrooms are too small. If that doesn’t matter, they’re great with having sink area separate.
- 3/5
Old but clean. The shower had no hot water for our entire stay
- 5/5
Didn’t have breakfast
- 3/5
The rooms are spacious the bathrooms are too small for the size of the room. The parking is horrible, the worst i have experienced on Fremont st. No valet and no bellperson to help. The walk from the parking garage through the casino with your luggage is the Terrible. The environment of the inside of the casino is nice , calm and comfortable. Great payouts. I will be back to play but no to stay.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing and roof was super clean
- 3/5
The Hotel though being iconic for Las Vegas needs renovation. It is more like 2star hotel now (must have been 4 star in its hay day 50yrs ago). The bathroom is too small to fit a big guy. The rooms have moldy smell and linens were not clean even as per 2.5 star standards. Bit it is safe since only persons with key can enter elevators and their floors only. Free parking is nice but confusing.
- 5/5
Clean room, great staff and hotel restaurant was so good, also love that you can walk to other bars & casinos!

The rooms were equal to a motel definitely not a four-star hotel
- 4/5
Linens stained...need to get rid of the daily resort fees
- 2/5
There is no coffee makers The fridge didn’t work. Inconvenient to register no easy access to the pool. No microwave It was clean bed was okay noisy room as there is no insulation obviously between rooms Dark unclear about parking and getting out of parade. Nothing for the price other than Andes and shower. TVs are small and outdated

All employee from checking to cocktail servers were great. Room was large and clean with two exceptions: the window was so dirty that we were hardly able to see out of it. Also there was a gnat problem that seemed to be emanating from the bathroom sink drain. I put a cup over the drain before going to bed and in the morning there was at least 20 gnats caught in cup.
- 4/5
Free parking for all guests. Easy access to Fremont St. Rooms are clean.

Loved the location. Room was big and quiet(19th floor in the back).
- 3/5

We didn’t get breakfast
- 5/5
Loud because the room faced Fremont Street buy I knew it would be. We've stayed here before on the quiet side of the hotel. User's suck from the Plaza.

Clean room, great staff, even better location, had good view of freemont

Dewayne check me. He was so helpful. He provided me with a room that meet all my needs and also informed me of all the amenities around the hotel. My room was excellent. My stay was wonderful. I would stay again and make recommendations for your hotel.

Not free
- 3/5
Bad- only one vanity mirror in the whole room! No full length mirror, no coffee pot or fridge, tiny tiny bathroom. Loud banging music you can hear in the room at all times.
- 2/5
Check in process was very slow.
- 5/5
Clean room, free bottled water, grea t view if Fremont street. Free parking.

Check in was easy and the hotel was typical Vegas hotel, but the air conditioning went out 4 times had to have maintenance constantly in the room. After the fourth attempt to fix the air conditioning, it was unfixable. They finally decided to move us to another room, which was fine. It was right just down the hall, but that rain wasn’t much better. The phone did not work at all and the TV in the room had no remote for it. I went to the front desk at least 5 times within two days to ask about a remote , I was told they had ordered one for the room! It was never brought to the room. Probably will not stay there again.

Great staff and service. Clean room.
- 2/5
Smelled horrible, dirty, moldy, just yuck.
- 3/5
When checking in I got the feeling they don’t like people that use Expedia for booking. I had a couple simple questions and was told to look elsewhere to look answers since we did a third party booking. I feel like staff didn’t even want to take time to listen to question since I was Expedia. Great in hotel place to order breakfast and nice and close to Fremont!
- 3/5
Check in attendant was not friendly. There was urine in toilet in our room. There was no soap in soap dispenser. The TV did not work. The ac unit was so loud it kept us up all night.
- 5/5
Loved the staff, loved the room overlooking Fremont st. Loved the matcha coffee at the coffee bar in the am. Loved it!
- 3/5
Package did not include breakfast
- 4/5
Accessibility to parking lot. Could have been cleaner
- 5/5
I loved this stay. It was right near Freemont. They had a fireworks show. Unlike most hotels, I was able to check in at 12pm instead of 3am. I would definitely stay here again.

Me cobran el estacionamiento 50 dolares y muy mal servicio

Old, bad room lighting, not enough washcloths for 2 people
- 2/5
Lighting in room was terrible! Booked a king and got 2 queens. Only give 2 washcloths. I like a bath and face cloth. So 2 people need 4 total.
- 3/5
It was nice no frills hotel well located accross the street frim freemont st

My stay at the Plaza Hotel and Casino was disappointing. The first room had a large gap in the window frame, so all the Fremont Street noise came in and I had to change rooms after already moving my luggage. The second room was quieter, but the bathroom faucet splashed water everywhere, the soap dispenser barely worked, the bathroom fan was extremely loud, the shower head was patched with tape that leaked, and the desk and lamp were in poor condition, so the room felt neglected and bare. Overall the stay felt far below a 4 star standard and not worth the price. I have sent a detailed email directly to Plaza management about this experience and I do not plan to stay there again.

Great location, helpful staff and affordability.
- 5/5
Connie at front desk was wonderful! She was very personable and made our stay so pleasant! She upgraded our room since we were celebrating our 35th Wedding Anniversary - we had a fabulous time! Room was spacious, clean and beds are extremely comfortable - only thing missing in room was a floor to ceiling mirror - there was a place for it, just no mirror.
- 3/5
Room update is needed. Safe did not work
- 5/5
Hotel was clean
- 4/5
Web site says that the room has a coffee pot,I always check any where we stay so I can bring mine from home, we were very disappointed when they weren’t one , waking up and having to get dressed to go down stairs to get it sucks

Clean room. Good staff. Great location.
- 3/5
Hotel is at good location exactly opposite to Fremont street downtown, so you can enjoy the full night there. Hotel staff is cool and helpful. I did not like the room, it was not hygienic, I changed the room but another room was also unhygienic and smelly. Sofa was so dirty that I could not use it. There was no microwave in the room which is very basic need in hotels now. There was no laundry service. I think hotel should work on to keep the rooms clean and hygiene.

The staff was really helpful and friendly. Hash to go has a really good breakfast and happy hour.

Great hotel to stay especially if you do not want too much exposure to the action on Fremont Street. If you want to partake in the action just walk across the street and you are there. When you want more quiet just head back to the hotel.
- 5/5
got the new remodel rooms very clean and big rooms plaza is my go to stay when going to Vegas
- 5/5
Nice!
- 5/5
The only problem with my stay at all was from Expedia. They never sent my oayment to Plaza. So I ahd to pay for my rooms a second time. However, the hotel manager quickly saw the issue and started my refund. Even with how busy they were that weekend he didn't stop there. This wonderful gentlemen went above and beyond that by giving me a $100 food credit. It has been a long time since I have had such great customer service. I wish I could remember his name. If he see's this I hope he knows how greatly I appreciated his help last weekend.
