    Loli was an absolute delight at the front counter. We stayed for 4 nights, had an issue with out room, and she was more than helpful to get us a new, clean, safe, upgraded room at no extra charge. It was exactly the peace of mind we needed during our stay. She went above and beyond to make sure everything was handled. Our stay was awesome- we cant wait fo come back to see the new renovations next year!

    The staff were amazing and very helpful. The breakfast was not what I thought it would be and could have more options or a variety of items but overall was a great place to stay and the rooms were very clean and organized. If I would choose to stay again I definitely would.

    Arrived to the hotel they were doing some construction to the front and I didn’t mind too much. I came to the hotel after a long road trip a lady named Ruth greeted me at the front door and she was very pleasant and she checked me in. I go to the room and I realize that it was a double bed instead of a king and there were no sheets on the bed and dirty linens on the floor. I go back downstairs after carrying all my stuff and I let Ruth know that I was under the assumption that I had a king and she let me know that they were booked out after seeing the condition of the hotel and the condition of my room itself, I didn’t feel comfortable staying there and I think she understood that. She said to let Hotels.com know that they were overbooked and she would make sure I was refunded the money. So I call Hotels.com to verify that I would need that credit towards another room and they spoke with hotel staff and they said they did everything to accommodate me and I actually did not want to be there no matter what they did. Every room in Vegas near the area was booked out due to events and I had to Uber an hour and a half away.

    There was no lighting over the mirror in the bathroom. Very hard to put makeup on. Finally use a flashlight that helped a little. I know it's in the middle of reconstruction but i think they should put some light over the mirror.

    The front desk receptionist Ruthy was AMAZING!! She was so sweet and friendly she welcomed me and my friends with a huge smile and made us feel safe! She deserves a raise and I give her 10/10 on her customer service! Definitely will book again in the future if needed to! Wish me and my friends would have been able to say bye to her, Shout out to Ruthy!

    The location was excellent. Very close to the Nellis main gate. The beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. The breakfast was very good. The front desk staff member Mr. Lee was very friendly and helpful unlike his relief. Mr. Lees front desk relief was only there to collect a paycheck nothing more. She made a statement to me that she didn't like that soldiers stayed there. The washing machines and dryers were coin operated, but the hotel does not give change. When I asked for change, she was zero help and told me I could ride around and get change in town. There is also a business center that does not work which made printing boarding passes difficult as I had to use a computer at Nellis AFB instead of the convenience of the hotel.

    The staff was very courteous and helped out very well to the best of their ability. The fact that the alarm kept going off, all day and night for half of my stay may. Have hearing damage from how loud the alarms were going off inside my room have slight ringing and was told. I had to speak to operations manager, but they were not there.

    The property was nice and clean, it had all the amenities we needed in our room. Staff and front desk receptionist were super helpful and friendly. The only issue was that we were told breakfast is from 6:30am to 9:30am. But they actually stop serving at 9. Breakfast over all was alright, it wasn’t that good and didn’t have much selection. If we are told breakfast is over at 9:30 then I would tell whoever works at the breakfast station because she kept telling everyone it stops at 9 am.

    I don't want to write a negative review as much as possible because, I want to help businesses, and Holiday Inn is excellent brand its one of my favorite hotel. I was shocked that I experience horrible treatment in this Nellis, Las Vegas Branch. I arrived Dec 12, 2024, 5Pm, our group came from SF to attend Strat Planning, The hotel reception staff said that Expedia overbooked them and they have no room for us (we reserved 3 rooms for six people since Nov 1, 2024). We waited for 4 hours, the staff wants us to contact Expedia for a refund, another option is to transfer us to another hotel, until another staff came in to help and give us a rooms its already 9Pm. In spite of the hardship, still I remain calm and patient. When I'm in the room, I reported to the counter that the water in the bath tub of our room keeps on running, we are concerned with the water conservation, but no response, We request for room cleaning because we stay there 4 days and 3 nights, I received a note that they don't clean the rooms unless you stay there for 7 days. Anyway we just stay there night time to sleep. The positive side is the breakfast is good, its hot and fresh. I think the property needs complete renovation. Thank you

    The floors were gross, they had marks all over them. You get out of the shower and walk on the tile and your feet got dirty. Something by toilet was sealing so the floor was occasionally wet. Only half the lights worked. The ac had to be on high or off otherwise it mad a lot of noise. The TV remote had to be right in front of the tv for it to work. The breakfast was not the best. The building needs a remodel so they are putting off having work done. You also can hear the planes from the airforce base across the way, we had no issues with that, but some people might

    Making the reservation and checkin went okay. I was exhausted and fell asleep. Side note: if our teenage daughter had been with us, rest assured I would have been immediately woken up and faced hostage type demands to find a different hotel or else...and No, it wouldn't have been a pleasant outcome. In the morning another "not so distant" relative was spotted carousing through the sheets, like a Gambler checkin' out the Casino. As I exited out the back door to load the car, I just about ran into a gentleman, who appeared to be the local exterminator, I think. Better late than never, I guess. Oh, and speaking of Never, we won't be staying here again. The overall decor was quite drab and dated, bedside lamps had some issues working and the bathroom sink faucet felt like it might just pop right off when turning on/off the water. In the event you want a souvenir of your stay 😀 If you do decided to stay here, I recall a little verse from my childhood: "GOODNIGHT, SLEEP TIGHT. DON'T LET THE BED BUGS BITE. BUT IF THEY DO, PINCH THEM TIGHT SO THEY WON'T BITE TOMORROW NIGHT" Yup, from now on my dearly beloved will be the one to pick the Hotel accommodations. Hopefully, the "Lady" has more Vegas "Luck" than I did!

    I really liked it, I feel satisfied with the service, the only thing is that if you don't load a car, you're far from the boulevard, otherwise it's fine, the breakfast is super good, and don't believe those people who say there are cucas and things like that because I didn't see anything like that. It is very clean and has super good air conditioning so I recommend it now if you want luxuries this is not what you are looking for but it is super complete as a hotel

    I would give this property 4 stars except for how beat up it is. It doesn't meet my expectations of a Holiday Inn Express. The walls, doors, corner moldings etc. are marred and dinged up. Our rooms sink faucet was corroded and leaked across the counter and onto the floor. The grounds were not well kept. On the plus side, the inside was very clean. The staff was very good. The breakfast was the best I've had at a Holiday Inn Express. The carpets were new and in great shape. Another plus is that because of the sketchy neighborhood, they have full time security patrolling the grounds.

    The lovely staff made up for the dated property. The Air Force Base is literally across the street and it was amazing to watch all of the fighter jets do their training. I would stay here again just for the personal airshow outside our window. The beds were comfy and was super convenient.

    Holiday Inn needs to upgrade this facility. The military and families that come to visit here deserve better. It is so old, the don’t have ANY current phone or device jacks, still use bar soap and individual shampoo/conditioner and the carpets in the room were disgustingly stained. Staff was awesome!

    This property needs a major make over, the bathroom floors are all cracked and broken. The shower faucet could not be shutdown. The carpets were dirty and debris all over. Elevators were dirty with debris. For $179 they charged this was a total rip off, disappointed that HolidayInn allows them to exist. Employees were nice and courteous perhaps the only good thing.

    This was an AWFUL experience. Our flight got delayed so we showed up at 3:00 AM to check in and they refused us. They said check out ended at 1:00 and we needed to rebook our hotel and that we lost our money. We were traveling with a 5 month old. They literally wouldn’t let us stay in the room we booked when it was already prepaid. They wouldn’t give us a refund and told us we needed to pay the current fair again if we wanted to stay there. I’m so angry. If we booked and paid for a room, how can they just cancel us like that without compensation and tell us we can’t check in. It was literally out of our control.

    Definitely enjoyed my stay, as retired USAF Member was hoping to take advantage of proximity to Nellis AFB which I know from a few TDY trips. The biggest bonus didn't expect was the bath tub. I was able to soak in it 2X before checking out the next day.

    Staff gave us the wrong room, whereas the keys were made for someone that already were staying in the room. It was embarrassing because we thought they were in OUR room that we paid for, but it was a room misunderstanding. We got to our correct room and the room is hot. The AC not working and blowing out hot air. It’s stuffy in the room. We’re trying to sleep, but not sleeping comfortably.
