Very convenient location!!

The room was clean and comfy

Room service continuously knocks on your door at 9am.

The staff were friendly, really hated walking through smoke to get to the hotel though. Beds were comfy and nights were quiet.

Small and cozy property. Just wish they had better ventilation for all the smoke.

The property has that ikd school feel which I love. The food options are horrible and I do nit enjoy the way the smell from steak N shake permeates the casino.

bed was sooooo uncomfortable. there were 4 people staying in my room and I wasn't able to use the wifi because there were "too many devices in one room" :( also the tv didn't work how do i fall asleep in a hotel without impractical jokers playing. and the smoke alarm went off twice because it "detects particles not smoke" so getting ready sets it off.

Front desk was friendly, check in was easy and quick. Room was clean and comfortable.

The motel clean and nice and staff was super friendly. We were there for volleyball so we were able to walk to the Rio for the tournaments.

Very good value, close to the vegas strip. Staff were friendly and helpful. The casino has $10 blackjack and a bowling alley! Room was nice but the countertops had not been wiped down which freaked me out. Security up to the rooms made me feel safe but we were woken at 6am by hotel security and then las vegas police trying to gain access to the room opposite.

The property is close enough to the strip to make it easy to get everywhere you want to go. The rooms are clean, spacious, and have lots of plugs for charging your devices. The staff was especially friendly and helpful. The cost is very reaonable compared to others in the area. I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend it.

When the check-in counter is crowded with group travelers, I recommend using the kiosk. I was able to select my room. Since I use the hotel for business, I chose a floor close to the top. As expected, it was very quiet and comfortable, so I highly recommend it.

The wifi in this hotel is HORRIBLE, and the noise between rooms like akin to what you’d expect in a mobile home. I’m typing this while listening to the noise from below and beside me, they are SO loud. The location is also a $30CND uber ride from the strip. The employees here were very nice, but the place compared to its competition just doesn’t make sense

Michael/Mike & Patrice went above and beyond with helping us with our rooms & checking in! Our rooms were affordable, clean and the hotel was walkable to Rio for the EDC shuttle. Housekeeping was also wonderful and respectful. Beds were comfy enough, only complaint was that WIFI was not strong enough to load anything during our stay. A fair amount of restaurants, and a nice pool, hot tub and mini gym + mini arcade and bowling alley too! Free parking outside the hotel.

Plenty of parking and good options for a quick serve meal. The staff are friendly. The hotel is clean and well maintained. The room we stayed in was renovated but could have used more lighting.

My wife loved how clean the hotel was but the downside to it is that you have to go thru the casino to get to your room and the front desk wherein smoking was allowed at the casino. I’ve been to casinos wherein they do not allow smoking and vaping and it has never affected their business because gamblers will always come. Hopefully you reconsider this aspect that smoking and vaping will only be allowed in assigned areas outside the property. It won’t be just excellent but truly also live up to your posted standard that you address the welfare of youth and non-smoking guests plus your staff’s health as well inside your property.

When I checked into the room, the lady said that she would send up extra blankets and pillows and towels, but she did not and I had to call and remind them. However, I understand how busy it can be. We ate at the restaurant in the casino and the quesadilla had chicken bone in it and the waffle fries had a couple black fries. They did comp the quesadilla but left the fries as is. Overall, the stay was good.

The first room was not cleaned. We were given another room, but there was a opened soda in the frisge.

It's a hotel. It just kinda does the job, and you get what you pay for. I booked a night here and it's definitely older with the rooms not renovated, although it was a relief that the bathrooms were up to date and clean. Room had a funny smell and establishment smells like smoke. The staff was AMAZING however, so kind and friendly and probably the best check-in experience I've ever had. Good to know they can hold onto your bags before check in!

Nice choice of dining onsite and security was friendly and always present by elevator entrance. Rooms in good condition. My one suggestion to hotel management is to lower the volume or turn off the music at the pool. It was so loud and obnoxious I didn’t use it - not relaxing at all. There was no one else at the pool either; it created an unpleasant atmosphere. The strip is so loud; I think guests would enjoy a quieter setting and not have to shout if hanging out with friends.

We stayed at Gold Coast for 4 nights for EDC. The casino and hotel are extremely clean and our room was perfect for my husband and I. The bed was comfortable and we had no problems getting rest. The staff was friendly and made our stay enjoyable. There is security right before you get in the elevators to the rooms. You need your room key to access the floors which is great. Wanted to stay here again for EDC next year, but the hotel is fully booked for EDC 2027.

I loved being able to park in the parking garage (top floor) and use the enclosed bridge to walk to the escalator/stairs to get to the bottom floor to go to our rooms. Overall, our stay was excellent. Beds were comfy. Room was very clean. One other perk - Denny’s right across the street!! Great breakfast!! And low prices!!

Relatively old hotel near strip. Loved the convenience and a couple Chinese restaurants inside the casino. The parking was free and the valet still operates like the old Vegas before all the inflation and charged fees. The valet crew were exceptionally accommodating. Will stay there for the food and the convenience alone. But facilities can use an update like the shower / bathroom.

Staff were excellent and friendly. Check in easy. Room was clean. Beds & pillows only comfortable if you prefer both very hard. Largest complaint is poor ventilation throughout the hotel & casino. I'm a smoker and went outside as the Casino ventilation was so poor even I was choking. Accompanying non smoker Friends gained sore throats attending a two day event. The conference facility was set up nice and to our needs. Same event is scheduled for next year and I will choose to stay at another hotel even as doing so will be an inconvenience.

For example, we went to the "fancy" restaurant for prime rib, etcetera, but they told us that we need to keep my service pup on the ground, and not in the corner of the booth, so... No biggee. We went to the coffee shop and they were a better fit AND the food and drink was tasty at half the price. Also, only two blackjack tables and two roulette tables were operating at any given time, but the only time that they were full were early evening, so we started playing a bit later. Plus, drink service was fine. Small bevs, of course, but rarely did we have to wait. Setbacks were a bit of debris that would remain 23hours after the winds stopped, and a security staff that was polite but unnecessaily strict... like doing excessive "room checks" when people are trying to sleep. Miss the old Vegas in that regard 😎 Nevertheless, a decent value, especially through Expedia. We stayed for $32 a night, plus the fees/ taxes shakedown... still less than $90 per night.

Staff was very friendly and bed was super comfortable. They probably should replace their smoking filtration system in the smoking areas though. I probably could smell more since I recently quit smoking a few motnhs ago. Other than that hotel was great. Even down to the one restaurant I ate dinner at as well.

This is my 3rd or 4th time back in as many years and yhis year was probably the best I've seen Gold Coast! The rooms have been updated, don't smell of mildew and comfortable. The water pressure on the 7th floor was decent, the bed comfortable and i love the fact thst i can connect to YouTube! I asked for a blanket and the delivery of it was record time. Everyone i came into connect with were friendly from the roulette table to the cashier. The good at the different places inside was good. Parking was busy...i didn't want to waste time looking for parking so used valet...these guys were quick!! One of my best visits!

There were quite a few people in the casino. It was smoky, as all casinos are. Parking was easy. I felt safe. The room was clean, and the price was right, so I would stay here again under the same circumstances for sure.

Run down hotel, need upgrades ! Room didn’t have hot water, room stuck still like smoke ( in a non smoking room) pan handlers out side the doors sleeping in the flower beds. Hotel/ casino stuck like sewer in certain areas. Expedia you also need to make sure you don’t advertise something that is not true! I have booked through you guys several times and never this bad.

Room was clean, had to scan key at security and then in the elevator every time you went to your room. The elevators are slow when everyone is checking out. Stairs are not an option when you are on a high floor and with luggage. The food was not great and fountain drinks were outrages in price. I ate more at the bowling alley and vending machine. Parking is free and it’s easy to walk to neighboring casinos.

Nothing special but would stay again. If you want ease of access, relatively quiet, away from strip fatigue- a good place. Restaurants and snacks are limited compared to the strip. They allow smoking in the casino.

They gave us the room where the bathroom lacked a separate shower, and the water was everywhere.

Room was in poor shape. Felt moist everywhere, old and dated. Casino was small, all restaurants were closed, or at least seemed closed. Wouldn’t stay here. Also make sure to call for any fees beyond Expedia because I ended up paying an additional room charge upon check in, when I was under the impression that I should be good after paying Expedia.

We had 2 rooms reserved. Had to have rooms changed because AC did not work. Even we we switched rooms, 1 room still had AC issues the entire stay and the room fridge did not work. The bed was hard and the sheets were scratchy. Amenities were gross. There weren’t many food options in the casino/hotel. The casino floor was just a cloud of cigarette smoke so when you came upstairs you just smelled. Would never stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I'll return again. Parking was easy. Rooms were clean and modern. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Only thing that was off was I continually heard heating / ac units or some crazy sounds. Perhaps there was some construction goong on. But it wasn't enough to trouble me or keep from getting sleep. For the price I received, I was very pleased with Gold Coast. I will be back!

The reason for my 3 stars is the person at the front desk who needs some customer service training and the fact that their internet is just not functional in the room I was in as well as the entire floor I was on, I checked. It didn't work throughout the casino either and neither did my phones data connection. I had to go outside to make call and use my phones data connection. If they would get better internet service and some improved customer service from their front desk staff, all of the other staff were great, I would give them 5 stars.

We came in for a concert. We have stayed there in the past. It is a basic, very chill place. The only main drawback ( and a lot of local hotels too) there is no more 24 Hr cafe. Otherwise, it is clean, a well appointed casino. And the rooms are nice and clean.

casino reeks of cigarette smoke, rooms are small , most uncomfortable chair I've ever sat in. no room service. ice cream shop closes at 4pm. soda prices higher in the general store than in a vending machine right outside the store. I'll never stay here again, under construction also.

Everything about the hotel was great, the room was clean the casino was fine, but the internet (?

Wi-Fi was exceptionally bad in the room (8th floor) would disconnect then reconnect several times a minute. Having no data on my phone meant wifi at Hotel was very important for contacting uber and researching things ahead of time and booking things were impossible. Yet go down to the Casino and the Wi-Fi was perfect. I mentioned it to the front desk when checking out… doubt anything will be done about it.

The rooms were clean. I liked having the added security to access the elevator and our room. Enjoyed a nice meal at the Cornerstone. Did mot like having to pay so much for coffee in the morning!

Shower setup is dumb. Have to get wet turning the shower on because it is 2/3 solid glass,and the rest open. Had 2 lukewarm then cold showers trying to get the hot water to work. Took about 4 minutes when almost done for actual hot water to work. Hate having to walk thru smoky casino to access elevators to rooms. When we checked in the receptionist apologized for where our room was located, and we found out why! Long walk to last room on the floor! They should have designed a better setup. Room was ok.

This hotel is a great value. Casino smelt really Smokey up front, but air seemed to get better towards the back. The rooms were just fine and were clean. Basic items you would expect in a room. Affordability is the main draw here as Vegas has gotten really expensive. The food here is actually a lot cheaper than Strip. Location is easy to get into and out with it being just off the strip. You could technically walk to the strip if you really wanted to, but the Palms and Rio is right there by hotel. I would stay there again. Not the most glamorous hotel so if you are looking for that then you may want to look elsewhere. If you are looking for great value that may allow you to experience more attractions, then I would recommend this place.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. The air conditioner was loud and woke us up. Could not understand how to turn it off. The price was very reasonable.

I booked an over night stay that same day. Lots of self parking available. I checked in with ease . Plenty of updated slot machines. Newly renovated room. Beds might need an update just a little squeaky and kind of sinked in. Convenient location across street from palms and Rio hotels. I'd stay at Gold Coast again.

The room had no hot water for me to shower and 1 of the pillows had stains on it. Terrible experience.

Room and staff were fine. The place does need more dining options and the sports book needs improvement. New betting kiosks are total waste and inferior to similar machines at other casinos.

Room rate is fine but they stick you with some abhorrent resort fees given the actual amenities.

Air conditioning was easy to handle.

The casino is a smoking floor which is the first floor and you will always pass by as you go to the elevator to go to your room. The rooom are pretty good size for me and non smoking good thing and clean. I had my room cleaned one out 4 nights they just cleaned the Bathroom and put new towels and emptied the trash. The bedroom didn’t do anything. Destiny at the front desk was wonderful very friendly and happy happy. The Cornerstone Restaurant for me is pretty good for lunch and breakfast. Has only few options but very good selections on what I ordered. The staff were very attentive specially the weekend receptionist didn’t get her name. It’s simple menu but you can easily pinpoint what you want and fast. In the other hand, I ordered a takeout at that PingPangPong restaurant for 2 dim sum it took 45 minutes to get it. There was no line outside. The people at the reception were apologetic. So pack your patience. There was a couple ahead of me who ordered more, same thing long wait for take out.She kept on asking where was her orders . Didn’t eat in so I don’t know how long it will be if you eat in maybe faster?

Another solid biz trip

The bathroom in the hotel was amazingly clean. The only complaint that I had was on the first and second night there was not enough hot water so I was showering in the cold water. It was terrible.

Room was dirty. Bathroom had long hairs on the counter and floor towel. Neighbors were pounding on their door and yelling relentlessly as if they were locked out or something. $45 resort fee is ridiculous.

The bathroom is amazingly clean. Room is small but totally worth it due to cleanliness. Wish the water could get hotter but other than that it is a great stay.

We went as a group of six and had three separate rooms. We weren’t sure what to expect, as we had been to Ping Pang Pong for lunch and had visited the gift shop, but had not stayed there before. The rooms were immaculate, well-appointed, and the beds were spotless — the most comfortable I’ve slept in at a hotel in a long time. Also, the rooms and hallways were nice and quiet. The A/C worked well and the bathrooms were sparkling clean. High-fives to all the hotel employees for their friendliness — they all greeted me, even when just passing by, and all were courteous. All the food we ate there was very good and well-priced. An added bonus was they number of stores and dining places nearby. Gold Coast will be our place to stay from now on! Great job!

Everything was amazing! I’m not a smoker so I had a very hard time in the main area downstairs but my husband loved it 😂 Our bartender was amazing and super funny - he made sure we felt welcome wether we were drinking at his bar or just passing by! We didn’t go to the pool but we did check out the bowling upstairs and Ive never seen such a huge bowling alley. This was our first time to Vegas and we would definitely come back to this hotel. The price per night wasn’t insane and we still had an amazing time! Thanks for having us :)

The hotel was decent. The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I don’t like is the casino part and the smell of cigarettes but that’s Las Vegas I guess.

Clean room well taken care of but lots of walking around the hotel to take the elevator to go up to your room.

The stay was great! We wished there was cooler air conditioning and the mini fridge was warm, so we were uncomfortable eating leftovers we had placed overnight.

The fact I have to buy water every time I got thirsty was insane. I had a gastritis flare because of a coffee I had there and the only person who was being nice to me and seemed to care about my well-being was the security that worked the day shift so bless him for looking out for me but the front desk people were so mean to me about it and would rather me throw up in their lobby than have brought help up to my room. The smell of my room and mattress wasn’t pleasant at all it made me feel more nauseous on top of my flare so I will not be staying there again and I don’t recommend it.OH AND DON’T GET ME STARTED ON THEIR SHOWER. All the water was spilling out. Not only that but everytime someone opened or closed their door outside YOU CAN HEAR IT SO CLEARLY. Those doors either need to be fixed or sound proofed. People fighting outside my room until 3:30 in the morning really ruined my whole trip because the was the Domino effect that caused everything that that happened this weekend with my death scare.

You have to walk through smoke haven before getting to your room. Theres no smoking signs everywhere but they still do it. On top of that the staff were super rude. No inviting AT ALL.

Was clean but I hated the smoke when you have to walk through the casino to get to the elevator and to your room.

Clean comfortable Room, only downside are the very slow Elevators the doors need an eternity to close. Plan enough time 😉

This is nice hotel. We stay here when we come to Las Vegas because it's clean, reasonably safe area and reasonable cost and convenient location.

Out room was clean and the property was nice overall.

I was not happy that the TGIF's had been closed. though there was almost enough other options to eat at.

Staff was amazing. From front desk to the bellman, from servers to valets, they were all helpful, considerate and FUN.

The room smelled like smoke as did the bedding so that was uncomfortable to have to smell that whilst resting. also the AC would not turn off or change temperature so it was freezing with the thin sheets. Flew in and left on red eyes so comfort was important.

Resort charge to high as little is offered. Restaurant disappointing and only alternative Subway or Chinese food. What happened to the wonderful buffet. Small pool all right, but did not like walking through the dog toilet to find it. When asked if they still provided a shuttle to the strip and Orleans was told this had been discontinued and advised to take a normal bus or UBA. Stayed here many times in the past and liked it. Not now. I would not stay again. Pity. People giving up on Vegas, no. Vegas seems to have given up on people.

The casino games are all new and waay too expensive. There used to be some good old ones as you walk in the front door, but they've been removed. Just another way for rich people to get more money.

Close to Palms and Rio. Front desk quick and efficient. Free parking. Close to reception. Felt safe in the local area. Massive bowling alley which was fun. Waitresses attentive and kept great service whilst gambling (tip them!) food there was average but their are lots of local restaurants. Room was ok and has all the essentials.

The Bingo Hall was nice. The cab area sucked though.

The rooms are VERY small. Ours came with 2 doubles. My fault, thought they were queen, which they don't offer. The room is very small. The bathroom has no privacy lock, the shower has no door for the half that is completely open to the rest of the bathroom Water everywhere. The Casino is great. The food offerings are so so. They have a new POS system and they were having trouble with it. The service at the Cafe was terrible. Waitress sat us down, took our order. Then never to be seen again. The predinner drinks never came, had to go and get myself. The Casino stall was great, always friendly and answered any question we might have had. Over all, I will not stay at this hotel every again. There are too many in Las Vegas at the same price mark that far exceed this property. No I would not recommend to my friends or family.

Rooms are small but nice. Cleaning staff do a great job. I was attending an event at the Rio, and the hotel is only a short walk through the parking garage.

Excellent smaller hotel, convenient location but really not walkable to the LV strip. Very impressed with the overall hotel and the room was recently renovated. Parking was easy. 1 star taken off as there's no coffee maker in the room.

When the Las Vegas Star Trek convention is in town at the Rio, I always choose to stay at the Gold Coast. It’s a better deal, plus the rooms are nice and clean, and it’s only a five minute walk to the convention. The only downside is that, this year, two of the four elevators were out of service for a lot of my stay. It wasn’t a big deal, but had it been busier it would have been an inconvenience. At any rate, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

It was an okay place to sleep but there was limited dining options, and the restaurants weren't open very late. The elevators were constantly not working, the drink machine on my floor was not working.

The casino experience was great. There was a wide range and selection of slots, and the table games were run very well with knowledgeably helpful dealers.

The Noodle Bar and Bowling cafe is good value for money. The pool and jacuzzi area was clean and enjoyable. The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. Across the road there are lots of food options.

Was there for a bowling tournament so the location was outstanding because the bowling alley was located within the casino the downside was the bathroom, even though it appeared to be remodeled. The shower design is terrible. It has a half glass wall with the other half open and water through gravity leaks out of the shower stall onto the bathroom floor Every day you had to wipe it up.

Our room had two full beds, which was properly advertised but didn't register in my brain when I booked and so ended up being disappointing (since we had 4 people). Pool was small and under-utilized but did its job of cooling us off in the heat. Great value option for Vegas - I'd stay here again.

Staying at the Gold Coast was a great experience. Parking is plentiful and free, easy walk to check in and to room. Room is new, clean, and bathroom is particularly nice. As funny as it sounds, this was the nicest room I stayed in, and the most inexpensive, on a four night total trip passing through Las Vegas. Would definitely stay again!

I've stayed there many times during my several trips to Vegas to play poker at nearby casinos over the past several years. Rooms are clean, nicely furnished, and reasonably priced. Staff is always friendly, prompt, and responsive. I don't like having to walk the length of the casino from the elevator for the hotel rooms to the Cornerstone Restaurant simply to have a sit down breakfast of eggs, hashbrowns, and bacon/sausage. Ordinary table dining must again be located in the area previously occupied by TGIF Friday.
