The price The staff was very disrespectful. They didn't answer the phone. When they did answer the phone they had a lot of attitude and hung up on me. The bathroom had a hole in the door. The fridge froze ur food. The pool was out of service. The towels and wash cloths were dirty. You had to check in at a completely different property and only received a code no door key. You can only check in between 3 and 9 pm or you have to pay a fee. The neighborhood was very sketchy and filled with tweakers and pros****. The screen on the window was damaged and unsecure.

I couldn't stay the 2nd night I booked. The room had a very bad smell

Place was under construction no problem office was closed had to go to other property to get key and check in no problem my biggest problem is they kept my deposit money without as ny explains, left the room clean took out the trash , made sure everything was picked up and emptied like no problem but fiirst place I've stayed at where they kept my deposit money that I needed left at checkout time office still closed left key in their little slot but no office manger on property didn't have time to chase them down at other property had a death in the family and that was my priority at that time , property was ok under construction I understand but no body there for checkout or check in had to chase down on another property my time and my gas to check in who accounts for that if I stayed longer who pays I do but who is to say I checked out at that time ? House keeping was there at 11vam when I was leaving but do I have to do their job at check in and check out why no office personnel there on property? Why no explanation on my deposit money ,,? Poor management don't go here unless you want to get ripped off

Inside it was fine but outside it was pretty ghetto also this is not far from downtown Las Vegas which is rundown and a little ugly so definitely not if you're sophisticated and you need to be a little accommodating to that side of town to like it I probably will not return.

Getting checked in and out was more complicated without an on-site office but for the price I can't complain. Staff was quick to respond to cleaning requests. Overall great place to stay. I would rent again.

In the middle of the night two mice began scurrying around the floor, under the bed and through my things. I left the motel at 4 in the morning. Terrible property, a total waste of money

They only stay open till 9pm for registration. Our plane didn't land till 11:30 pm. They would not refund our money. They didn't answer the phone or send email. Very poor communication

It wasn't far from downtown but it's a mess people hanging out people who live there in that facility that's why they got a refrigerator and a microwave cuz people live there permanently never again I don't know who y'all think I am but I don't live in places like the one that I just ordered you stay tuned

after checking into our room, we left to go get something to eat and when we returned about 930 pm there was an individual sitting between the dumpsters smoking off of tin foil. Not long after that there were 2 more individuals in the parking lot just standing there like zombies. I asked the girl at the check in desk if there was anything i should be concerned about and she said "no". Wrong, everything bout this stay was nerve racking and stressful. We didnt feel safe and everybody there gave us dirty looks like we didnt belong there. From now on im staying on the strip!! The little extra you pay is worth the piece of mind.

None This property is not like the picture honestly l don’t recommend if u want to sleep safe is not hotel homeless living outside from the door street in safe ! A lot noise and for check in is no body there is other building for pick up keys crazy place. l never going to back ! .. and if u call phone no answer! Service bad! I stay only couple hrs! And l leave before !

the distance to Fremont was about the only good thing Phew… where do we start. To begin, the hotel “check-in” location is at a different property, a property that is just as filthy as Desert Hills. Their office looked more like a pig pen, during check-in I noticed they photo copied my credit card to take a $100 deposit to which I felt uncomfortable seeing the way their office was set up. Upon arriving to Desert hills you instantly notice it’s a sketchy unsafe location, there is a reason they don’t have pictures of the outside of their motel. The parking lot had plenty broken down cars, there was a couple people sitting in chairs, outside out of their rooms giving the impression that they live on the property. A couple times I went to my car I noticed men causally riding around the parking lot in their bikes. The inside of the room was average looking and average clean, the bathroom door knob did not close properly or lock, the pool was drained empty and it looked like it’s been empty for a long time. I strongly believe someone attempted to break into my car there, but we didn’t notice till we arrived home so I did not contact the property or police. I was also not refunded $30 of my deposit back because the office lady said we damaged 2 sheets. They were not actually damaged, just dirty lol, one I know was my 3 y.o. son walking on their dirty floor without shoes and then climbing into the bed. In hindsight, I wonder if they actually wash their linen because these damages could have been reversed with detergent and hot water. Either way, stay away from this place and don’t expect the office lady to be kind over the phone when you do question part of the deposit being kept.

Honestly to sum it up it’s very unsafe place don’t take kids anywhere near here. got woken up by the screams of a women getting beaten up and insulted by a man next to our room … it was traumatic to say the least.

I didn't like anything because not only was the staff rude when I called to let them know I would be late for check in they locked us out. rude staff, despite knowing we would be late for check in we were still locked out and charged.

This is a mixed review - the inside of the room was one of the cleanest I've stayed in lately (if only sparsely filled with furnishings) but the outside was awful. The parking was impossible to use withe the poles and fencing to protect the property.

The fact the web site showed two beds and there was only one!

Receptionists was rude, there weren’t any towels in our room and the AC was only throwing hot air. When I tried to reach out to someone nobody was at the desk and when I attempted to call customer service, nobody picked up our calls.

Exellent staff and service whenever it was needed. Honestly felt like a themed one bedroom apartment rather than a hotel room. Right across the street from a wallet friendly gas station, and with the RTC bikes, only a 15 minute walk/ride till youre at freemont. Thank you Desert Hills!

Overall the room was good and clean. The AC/heater was a little too loud and kept waking me up at night, so I end up having to turn it off.

It was affordable, people were nice. The MAGA clown who parked his massive truck right up to the sidewalk, 1-2 feet from the seat outside. Annoying because I think they are poor examples of humans. I guess you can't fix stupid

This property needs to be removed from Expedias site. There are drug deals and prostitutes all around. There was nobody to answer calls-calls went to message. There was nobody in the office. On the door it said to scan a QR code but the code was de-activated. I contacted Expedia and there was no way to cancel my reservation.

Instead I drove to Albertsons grocery to buy a can of Lysol Spray. It’s nice that they have non smoking rooms but the people smoking weed and doing drugs right outside their rooms made up for it. Do not book.

We didn't get to stay- Couldn't find the office. It was filthy and extremely sketchy. It was advertised as being a 2 min walk from the Freemont street experience but its more like 20 minutes.

The Desert Hills Motel site is unorganized, unsanitary and not what they advertise. Rooms have cobwebs coming down from the ceiling to the lights overhead the bed cockroaches on the floors that are cracked and uneven making it a huge trip hazard. I will never recommend this motel to anyone.
