    On the down side, I was given a handicapped-accessible room that I didn't need or want and the staff wouldn't change it, there was a cockroach in the room (mostly in the bathroom) that I couldn't get rid of, and there was a large hole in one of the bath towels that I worried I would be charged for.

    acknowledge us when we walked in and continued to type on the computer for 10 minutes until he finally asked us our name. There was no one else he was helping, just very rude! not good customer service. we stayed at a different hotel the next day and WOW what a difference! so friendly, helpful! We barely got in the door before we got a smiling hello!

    The staff went out of their way to make our stay wonderful. Char at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. We had a great stay, clean room, comfortable bed, and wonderful breakfast! We will be back!

    The fittness room Location Friendly & accomidating Breakfast staff 1. The room remodel - I booked this hotel based on the pictures from the website which shows the suite was 2 separate rooms. My husband is a night owl & I go to bed early so 2 separate rooms is ideal for us. Please update your website photos. 2. The table needs 2 chairs 3. I didn't like how the TV was in the middle of the room & the table was under the TV. The swivel on the TV was about to come out of the wall. 4. The mini fridge is broken & never got cold - so our leftovers got spoiled. 5. Not enough towels & no kitchenette towel. 6. Not enough trash cans & they s/b bigger in size.

    Nice hotel in a great location! Perfect for a 3 night stay. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately when I was staying there it was in the midst of a major remodeling project. There was a lot of dust and noise. The first night a person was sitting in a pickup truck outside my window playing loud music. After 2 hours I finally notified the front desk and they promptly took care of the issue.

    This was terrible! I can’t believe they could even charge for this place, the halls were all torn apart with paint and oil and machinery, ceiling was falling in, shower pan was about to fall through the floor, coffee was even nasty. It smelled in the room and the air conditioner was so old it rattled all night like an old car. Absolutely terrible, save your money and stay literally anywhere else.

    The facility is undergoing a renovation so maybe that had something to do with our experience. Overall my experience was a solid 8. I would stay here again. I did like the lighter and brighter color scheme used throughout the hotel. Hallways are nice and well lit.The room is very open and spacious with plenty of room. Bed linens were nice and clean. Good water pressure.The morning and evening staff were kind and helpful. The pool is very nice and clean as are the grounds. All lights and TV were in working order. Facility had plenty of free parking. Nice location and plenty of nearby restaurants. Most issues are minor and can easily be addressed during their renovation. I found the sofa and chair looked attractive but were very hard and uncomfortable. Room decor is stark. All 4 pillows were very flat. Adding 2 firm pillows will give us more options. Shower head was not working well, needs cleaning. Refrigerator needed to be cleaned and defrosted so fridge door would shut. Broken cabinet hinges in kitchen area. Although the view was nice the windows were to cloudy and streaked to appreciate it.

    The bed was not comfortable and neither were the pillows. It was undergoing renovations, and we noticed our batbroom had no exhaust fan in it. Kind of strange for a bathroom. Took a long time to get the mirror unfogged with ventilation.

    The cleaning products used are almost caustic. I felt dizzy after 10 minutes of being in the room. I had to switch rooms and the second room, I had to leave the door open to air it out. There were roaches in the room. The Hotels.com site said the pet fee was 50$ and when I arrived, they said it was 75$. Elevator was too say the least, sketchy. Door barely closed and slammed shut and open before ascending. I took the stairs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Thank god this was a one night only stay.

    They were remodeling and it was dirty. The dirt was not new but also caked in corners of elevator and near ice machine. We arrived at about 330pm to rest and shower before a party. We had no water at all until about 2 am. We had to sponge bath with bottles water and the toilets were not flushed. They could have taken buckets of water from the pool to at least flush the public bathroom. It was gross. We were told when we checked it it would be 40 minutes over and over. I know the water being shut off by the city was not their problem but we were too exhausted to go anywhere else as it was late and we had.a long day and then a long drive to ge there.

    One thing I noticed is that the property conditions have deteriorated in the last two years. There was a lot of wear and tear on the furniture, the bath towels were rough, and the bathroom needed more cleaning. There was a group of families at the hotel this weekend, which is fine except that the noise level was beyond loud. There were several young girls running around the second floor, playing in the elevators. Again, they are kids so it's fine, except there was no adult supervision. This is problematic because someone could get hurt. My mother is elderly and with all the running around, they could have caused an accident.

    The property was nice but really needs to be updated. The fitness room was shut down and apparently being renovated or equipment being replaced. The business center was closed down as well. I don't know if the hotel is beginning renovations in these areas or if there were other reasons for them being unavailable to guests. No explanation was offered. This hotel is located on a busy road and can be difficult trying to enter or exit from the driveway. It was however near restaurants and shopping.

The ir conditioning cut out continuously, and the phone didn't work to call the front desk. There were stains on the sheets, the shower water was lukewarm at best, and the power went out for the entire property and did not come back on before checkout. The front desk clerk was unapologetic and was of no help stating that management was not on the property and it is what it is. I will not stay here again, and it was most definitely not what I've come to expect from a Hilton property.

    We've booked at Hampton InnSuiteAustinLakeway since 2/29/24 for1 night on5/25/24 when we arrived at the hotel the guy at the front desk said they couldn't find our itinerary number,I showed my# at the Expedia website and the email from hotel sent to me 1 day before to check in online and asked him to explain it so I could understand, he texted back and forth to his boss for a while and then said sorry it was last time I gave a bad review to them then they cancel my reservation?this is my first time in Austin and booked a hotel with them, they can't do that with the client because that reason?I wish I could record our entire conversation as evidence,I think the hotel has cameras that record video. because they felt that we were Asian people who didn't understand much English so they could say whatever they wanted and treat us like that. They wanted us to leave in the middle of the night without a satisfactory solution other than saying sorry we were full and the surrounding hotels were also full, if I was not satisfied with their solution, either I contact Expedia or call the police!!! We were tired, hungry, and angry, and we couldn't find Expedia's customer service number It was a terrible evening to start our visit to Austin. After spending 1 hour contacting Expedia we got the room at Moutain Star 5 minutes away, we had to endure and go through a period of pressure and fatigue!!! it's so sad because we don't know whose fault it is and why what happened to us,our trip unhappy

We did complaint to the receptionist, but the next morning it was the same. Nothing was done to correct the problem. 3rd . The breakfast menu needs to be improved. For example, the scrambled eggs needed some sides like onions, tomatoes, or some type of salsa. The omelettes were tasteless, some other ingredients besides cheese would have been better tasting. Vegetable sides would have been good. The boiled eggs could have been peeled. The coffee was very good. Sorry about this complaint, but we feel we had to say something.

    Location was exactly what we needed. The beds were comfortable. I liked that there was a full sized mini fridge in the room. The facility was clean and the staff we spoke to were kind and polite. The water pressure was GREAT in the shower. The breakfast didn't have too many choices for younger kids that would work for them. The pillows weren't even subpar. They were lumpy and flat. The toilet in our room ran the entire night. The fridge kept making popping noises throughout the night. When we went to view the pool, it looked as though it was slimy and not well kept.

    I've stayed here several times when my a/c is out at my apartment. It is comfortable and close to home, however, I do always bring my own sheets & pillow because they use sheets that are polyester or microfiber, which will make you sweat at night.

    I had to cancel the last two nights because of surgery. Hampton Inn indicated they were going to charge for one night I didn’t stay and refund me for the third. I have not received the third night refund. After another medical procedure this Friday I will see if Hampton is still unwilling to refund me for two nights paid? If this gets declined I will never stay at Hampton again and I will let my family members to stay away from Hampton and to all of my friends the same.

    When we arrived, the elevator was broken and someone was stuck on it. For the two of us, we got one decent towel so I requested new ones and they gave us the kind you step on to get out of the shower, which definitely did not suffice. Also, the tables in the breakfast area were sticky.

    Liked the breakfast it’s convenient to have, however food would run out! Good restaurants and stores around The toilets are so low to the ground in the bathrooms! Would have appreciated the beds made up everyday and a nice hot cup of tea at night (water was either out or it was cold water)

    Staff was friendly & helpful. The two ladies that checked us in were great. Even the housekeepers that I passed in the halls were friendly. By nature, I speak to almost everyone so that was a great asset to this hotel. Don’t change that. Your team makes all the difference

    No hot water, at all. I would have been ok if they had been honest, and told us there was a maintenance issue, and they were working on it. They just kept telling us to try again in 10 min, that it would be on, or move us to another room. That didn't make sense? If you don't have hot water in one room, how do you get it in another room?     Brought my family in for a funeral on Sunday. Pool was broken and there was no notification given to us to help prepare for this as we had kids to help distract them. Closet door latch was broken and wouldn’t stay attached to the closet door. This was really bad as we were worried the kids would run or walk into it.

    Overall the hotel is OK considering its location, price, and cleanliness. However, the staff is generally pretty unfriendly and there is this one woman at the front desk who was extremely rude from the moment we arrived. When asked about the possibility of an earlier check-in time, she scoffed and wouldn't even answer. When I was using the business center, she barged in and told me that I need to leave because Ive been in there for too long (it was only about an hour and I was on a work Zoom call). It was the most unwelcoming experience, and I would not be returning.

    The hotel was nice but before I made reservations I called and ask about the surrounding area. I was told that the lake was behind the hotel and it was not. We asked what’s in the area to do and none of they hotel staff could respond. The room was decent and small. The hotel is great if you are in and out but not for a vacation. Everything closes at 8 or 9. I probably wouldn’t stay there again.

    Overall, it was a nice hotel room. There did look to be some mold on the top of the shower curtain. Beds were comfortable.
