I have stayed in this hotel many times and looked forward to staying again; however, I was very disappointed. My previous stays were always exceptional, but this one was not the same. The room and the vanity area was dark.

Checkout staff was unfriendly and unhelpful considering the amount of money is spent to stay with them.

Central location, next to EPCOT and Hollywood studios. Beautiful hotel and rooms

On our last night our disney magic bands did not work to get in from the outside doors. We had to wait on hold on the phone to get through to the resort staff to let us in. Nearly midnight and tired from Epcot. Also slow housekeeping staff.

Great location if you are headed to Epcot. Wonderful pool area for kids and adults. Food was great at all the restaurants and the staff was friendly and accommodating.

Close to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Can walk to both or take the boat. The pool is shared with the Beach Club Resort and has a real sand “beach”. Restaurants at the resort are well-known for their good food. (Ale and Compass restaurant and Yachtsman restaurant)

This is the first time that I booked a specific room, had specific criteria about the room, and the criteria were carried out by the hotel without having to switch rooms. Usually and unfortunately when I book on Hotels.Com, traditional is I don’t get the best room in the house that’s available, but Disney blew this out of the water! We had the best view, 3 beds, great location floor wise, and I didn’t have to go to the room and go back to the front desk to complain to go back to a new room- they did it right the first time!

I was not happy about getting my room at 5pm (after checking with the front desk twice prior to that). This is the latest we've ever gotten our room at Disney and had to rush to Disney Springs for our dinner reservation. Also, the safe didn't work because the batteries died.

For a 5star property this place lacks in service and does not seem to care for their guests. Traveling with an infant and not only was the room not ready at 3pm check-in time but got run arounds and no follow ups or even a genuine apology extended by a supervisor. Had to chase and call several times and wait on a long line AGAIN to finally get my room close to 4pm, when I was there at 10am. To top it all room did not have requested crib and cleanliness was not upto par. Had dust everywhere and phones were filthy. I travel quiet often and for a 5star this was just sad. Especially for a Disney resort,

If you love Disney and you love family beach vacations, this is the place for you. You almost forget you are at Disney World when you are out at the pool. It feels like you are on an island resort at the beach. They have done a spectacular job in theming and general esthetics of the Yacht (and attached Beach Club). We have stayed at most of the resorts and this just easily became our #1 favorite for a lot of reasons.

We loved the view on the waterside, and being able to watch the fireworks at Epcot. We also enjoyed the ferry boat to 2 of the Disney parks, and the ease of walking back from Epcot. My son loved the pool area and especially the pirate ship waterslide. I didn't like that there was very little available in the way of options for a midday meal.

The new updated rooms are very spacious and well decorated. The bed was super cozy and you cannot beat the location of the hotel! We will be staying there again for sure!

This place is amazing. Disney does it right. Had the most Magical experience ever. Walk on the boardwalk, lots of shopping and restaurants. The pool is very nice. The staff is very nice, even though the Magic Express got lost (yes) and went to non-Disney properties the check in staff did a nice job getting us back on track.

Nice and spacious. Great location; can easily get to several parks. Nice rooms and views. Excellent pool area. The cleaning process due to Covid is sub par- staying for a week in hot weather, a bed refresh would be nice. Also, a vacuum or sweep of the room at least once would also be nice. A slight concern about safety- how did a pizzeria from a nearby town get in the building to put flyers under the door? That didn’t feel very “Disney” like. Overall a really nice stay.

All of Disney’s deluxe properties are excellent resorts. The Yacht Club is no exception. While light (almost non-existent) in Disney theming, it is heavy on service and amenities and a super comfortable room.

I can’t say enough great things about this property. They accommodated my request for an early check in , the lady ( I forgot her name) at VALET was MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. She was over the top with kindness and I will never forget her . We got to watch the fireworks at Epcot from our balcony. The pools were great . I loved it and will definitely stay there again.

lines were long, one restaurant had one person serving takeout for around 200 tables. I couldn't even get into the hotel restaurant for breakfast lunch or dinner during my stay. As for food, there must be an ordinance against serving vegies. we had a huge problem trying to accommodate our daughter and grand daughter in the parks. I never had so many french fries in my life. and I hope never to again. This is not to say I wouldn't come back. But I plan to make Disney a much smaller part of my stay next time. my expectation when staying on a disney resort- if you are going to charge me higher prices at your resorts, than I should be rewarded with some comps. the staff that was there were great and went out their way to accommodate us in the hotel.

The pool area is spectacular. Although when busy need to get on waiting list for pool availability. Lines at pool bar also very lengthy with limited bar and wait staff. Great location for walk to ebcot and short boat ride to Hollywood studios. Bus transportation was horrible with long wait times. Minimal food choices at hotel but what we had was good.

The most beautiful pool! The kids had a blast! The resort is quaint and has a nautical theme. One of our favorites! The staff were so helpful and always offering hand to help. Will definitely stay again!

We were in room 5179 and over looked lake with small view of storm along bay. Beautiful room and nice size balcony with 2 chairs and table. Room was very spacious with 2 queen beds, separate bathroom from sinks allows more than 1 person to get ready. In room dining was very good and prompt.

Understandably, there was little to do. Coronavirus and all. We struggled all week to stay busy. My biggest gripe is after a week of calling around and countless hours on the web, I finally scored a few things that would have been really fun. And were. We just had to change hotels to do them. They wouldn't give an inch on their, already, pretty high room rate. I was dissappointed in them for that. I would have thought they would have been much more accomodating.

Understandably, there was little to do. Coronavirus and all. We struggled all week to stay busy. My biggest gripe is after a week of calling around and countless hours on the web, I finally scored a few things that would have been really fun. And were. We just had to change hotels to do them. The Yacht Club property is very well maintained. The flowers on top of the garbage can add a nice touch.

The lobby and facilities are kept up fine but the rooms are just dismal. For $700 per night you get a galley room with plastic flooring. Plus another $75 per night with a pet. They say pet friendly but if you bring your furry friend, you’re relegated to the back corner of the resort to the tools with the worst views. This place and Disney overall is simply a place to part you from your money with the lowest possible return to you, the guest. I will never stay at another Disney property. We could have stayed at the Waldorf Astoria it the Ritz for the same price!

If I can’t walk up to the front desk and get to my room at 4:00pm, someone needs to get off their ass and get it cleaned or what it needs! Waiting to get in a room after 4:00pm is BS!

The property was very clean and most of the staff were great and very helpful. The staff in the Marketplace was rude on multiple occasions. The prices in the Marketplace were ridiculous.

This hotel is in walking distance to epcot. The service at the desk was excellent they helped put all our tickets on wristbands. The housekeeping staff were efficient and timely. The room must have been recently renovated, it was beautiful !

I wanted to book an extra night but it seemed like a strange process. I was told by the staff I would be put on a waiting list and then contacted. I stated that I could book a room right now on my phone in front of them and there was lots of availability. I came back down again the next day and spoke to a different staff member. He tried to book another night by ringing central guest services and couldn't get through. The manager then luckily came out and just did it straight away on the computer. I couldn't work out why this didn't happen in the first place and why I had to wait for ages for no reason twice. I'd rather lose some of the Disney robotic happiness of the staff for some more productivity.

We booked this hotel only to arrive and be told they were sold out. They sent us to Animal kingdom only to be told they didn’t have a room that could accommodate our family. After over two hours they found us a room. Very disappointed

The perfect Disney World hotel! The rooms are extremely clean and the beds are comfortable. The sand bottom pool is outstanding, it may be very large, but it includes a shallow area for small children to play. Our 2 1/2 year-old daughter was stung by a bee and the kind lifeguard had someone cover her post so she could use her “Pixie Dust” magic to heal it. In our opinion the #1 hotel pool at Disney. Just adjacent to the pool is a large slide for teenagers and adults. Another great feature of the Disney Yacht Club hotel is its proximity to the Disney Boardwalk (5 min walk) and Epcot (10 min walk). So far this is our family’s favorite Disney Hotel.

Another great feature of the Disney Yacht Club hotel is its proximity to the Disney Boardwalk (5 min walk) and Epcot (10 min walk). So far this is our family’s favorite Disney Hotel.

For the price per night for the room we were only there for 4 nights and you could see dust on the shelves, children fingerprints on mirror in wardrobe, wooden floor was not dusted each day so daily dirt from shoes carried into clean bed sheets.

Atmosphere and location and the room was great. The pools were nice and the slide was very good. Drinks and food along with service was tops.

Overall beautiful and clean. Comfortable beds and big rooms for a family to relax in after spending the day in one of the Disney parks.

Loved the layout, ice cream shop, bars, restaurants, pools and navigation like bus and boat. Did not like boat honking at all. I thought we were on freeway, sounds like car horn-shrill and frequent. Either no horn or a low decibel fog horn would be kinder to our ears and nerves. Thank you

Our stay was amazing. Could not asked for better service and facilities. The best hotel stay we have ever experienced.

Overall stay was great. Just had issues with reservations for dining, all reservations were about 30 minutes behind schedule which at Disney when your hustling to catch a bus or get to a park made it a bit difficult. Other than that, food was great, rooms awesome and loved location.

The best period. Only con i can think of is needing to ask a staff member every time you want a drink, it becomes burdensome and makes me feel like an alcoholic after each beer.

It’s a Disney hotel, so needless to say, it is amazing. But the best part is the location, a short walk away from Epcot. There are also several great restaurants, bars, and dance club, and a dueling piano bar a short walk (or boat ride) across the lake at the Boardwalk.

My daughter and I were visiting my son, who recently moved to Florida. We were only staying for a weekend, so wanted to take in as much Disney as possible. Staying at the Yacht Club allowed us to do it all! Early entrance to the parks was wonderful. Loved the location, it was easy to walk in and out of Epcot. And avoid the lines at the main entrance. It has a fantastic general store. Opened early and closed late. Very friendly staff.

Great location. Can walk to the Boardwalk and backside of Epcot. Hotel is very clean. Rooms are updated with hardwood floors. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone.

Disney's Yacht Club is amazing. Best location on Disney property in terms of proximity to Epcot and Disney Hollywood Studios. Super friendly staff and a gorgeous resort. Sandy bottom pool with beach area is perfect for kids. Lazy river and nice poolside bar for adults. The only problem I experienced here is a few stuck up, entitled, think-they-run-the-place guests who boss the staff around at check-in and cut me in line at the coffee shop downstairs. Hope they read this and chill the heck out. Otherwise, Disney Yacht Club is outstanding!

This was the best experience! I waited 30 years to stay here and I finally did! makenzie and Sarah made it exceptional! They upgraded us to club level and I felt like a queen. Being a teacher and serving others all day is rewarding, but to be treated like royalty certainly spoiled me and made me feel like I was somewhere special. It was a once in a lifetime stay:)
