Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the hotel's proximity to Epcot and the amazing pool area. However, there are consistent complaints about slow check-in processes and varying levels of staff service.
- Convenient location, particularly to Epcot
- Impressive pool area with various amenities
- Slow and inefficient check-in process
- Inconsistent staff service and responsiveness

The pool is beautiful and the sand is soft. Great for littles. Also the bigger kids enjoyed the slide and lazy river. The buffet was delicious 😋

This is my 3rd stay at the Beach Club. Its pool complex is the crown jewel of this resort. While the pool is amazing and cast members here do an excellent job of taking care of the guests, I did notice the rooms are in need of an upgrade. They felt old and outdated. This is in the deluxe category but didn't feel deluxe. I was very surprised. In the future, I'll choose another deluxe option.

Great property. Easy access to the parks. There is construction going on and you’ll hear it in the morning and throughout the day. Otherwise it’s great and the staff is amazing. Can’t wait to stay again.

Meets or exceeds expectations, a lovely Disney property with a great location and fantastic pool.
- 1/5
Definitely did not meet expectations. It felt unsafe after an incident in the hotel and they were not accommodating in moving us out of a handicapped room. There was trash in the hallways and the rooms were worn and didnt give off a wow factor at all for the price that was paid.

Hotel staff were not friendly at all. Many of them did not even make eye contact. Would recommend staying at the Boardwalk instead - friendly and welcoming staff. Could use a few more signs inside and outside of the resort as it is a large area.

We love the Beach Club and, once again, it did not disappoint. The pool area is one of our favorite in Disney, between the sandy bottom and the lazy river. Even late in the day, we were able to find a chair in the shade. The pirate ship water slide always has a long line so my boys didn't get on it at all this time. They may want to consider a virtual queue or something (half joking but not a bad idea.) Ice cream counter on site wasn't too busy and was really tasty and mobile order for marketplace food right from pool chair was a huge bonus! Rooms are spacious and clean and we were able to check in early. Staff was accommodating for everything. Can't wait to go again!

We were there for 4 night's with our 7yr old. However I realized I forgot to include him when I booked the hotel & they couldn't include him at the concierge desk since it was booked through Expedia. So when we synced our room with the Disney app, we were only able to add 2 people on any Lighting Pass rides instead of 3. Rooms were small & dated.& cleaned every other day. However beds weren't made. Not sure if iit's COVID protocol. We were in Vegas the weekend prior & rooms were cleaned daily.

Very convenient walk to Epcot and to Skyliner to Hollywood Studios; friendly staff; the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in; mobile check-in was convenient; however, we didn't have a map of the building and a set of directions to know how to get to our room. Would have been nice to have a cast member at the front just for quick questions like that.

One of the best Disney resorts around and a gorgeous property day and night. This was our first stay at a Disney resort but have visited many of the resorts for shopping and dining. Beach Club is one of the best with the amazing Stormalong Bay resort pool, easy access to budget friendly dining Beaches & Cream as well as finer dining like the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Some amenities could be improved like increasing frequency of housekeeping, having Distilled Water available, and removing the Mask rules (you are at home after all). This is a great family resort and less prissy than the yacht club, I highly recommend

Everyone was very friendly at the resort. The only downside was the lack of variety of food choices at the Marketplace inside the hotel. It was very hard to get a reservation at the Beaches and Cream Soda Shoppe. The only other restaurant dining option in the Beach Club was Cape May Cafe and they had a set menu which was very expensive.

It was great. For $500 a night, this was excellent. Compared to all the other places I've been, this place was undervalued. Safe environment, clean, close to the Disney Parks, quiet, etc. The marketplace was clean and always in stock of whatever you needed. The check-in was easy, although we didn't get our room right away and needed to wait 45 minutes, we found ourselves exploring the water front side of the hotel and checked out the stuff available to guests. Overall, the stay was fantastic, highly recommend, I would bet your family would love it.

This and Yacht Club are our favourite Disney Hotels but I do wish Disney would get smarter with check in for returning customers and not keep asking for the same information again and again. Wastes Customer and Employee time. Needs a ‘Reuse Customer Details’ button in the check in software.

We had an unplanned emergency laundry session that went well into the night due to malfunctioning laundry machines. We couldn't get the dryers to work in one of the facilities, so we had to find a way to trek all of our clean wet clothes over to another building. Then the dryer there, we realized after an hour had spun the clothes, but didn't dry them, so we had to move them into another dryer which finally worked. We were up well past midnight trying to get laundry done that should've been completed by 10 p.m. not a great experience. Other things that could've been better in the room. There was only 4 very small drawers, so we weren't able to unpack our clothes which made it a challenge to dig through our suitcase and store our 4 suitcases each night. Also there was no task lighting for bedside reading. There were bedside lights, but they were very bright and couldnt't be used if anyone was trying to sleep. We also had a water view which was very nice except when the boat went by at all hours and honked it's horn. Definitely had to wear earplugs to get any sleep. I would stay here again, but try to get a bigger room in a quieter spot. Location was fabulous for easy access to Epcot.

Great location for visiting EPCOT. Love the boardwalk area too. Just disappointed this trip with housekeeping. Had to ask more than once for robes the first day we arrived and on the second day we returned to the room around 6pm to find that it hadn’t been cleaned. Very unusual for an upscale Disney property.

I arrived at this hotel not feeling well. It was 2 1/2 hours earlier than their official check in. I was in extreme pain with a neck issue. I stated to the person behind the counter that I was in a lot of pain and would appreciate an early check in. Well, 2 1/2 hours later and after multiple requests, I was finally able to check in. I explained to the girls behind the counter that if I was a family member of either one of you, given my request, and seeing the discomfort on my face, I would’ve gotten a room much sooner. Shame on you Disney and shame on the girls behind the desk. I work in the customer service industry and couldn’t imagine treating someone the way you treated me. Never again.

Epcot is our fave, so love that this property is a very short walk to the back entry. The pools are fabulous which was a huge hit with the granddaughter. The food and drink is very good, although we neglected to make it to Beaches and Cream as we should’ve made a reservation! We had it when we stayed here 8 years ago and loved it. I’m sure we’ll be back at some point to WDW but for sure we’ll stay at The Beach Club! My one very tiny complaint is that they did not replenish our coffee sufficiently for 3 adults, although I know I could’ve called housekeeping rather than quickly grabbing some from the Marketplace.

Beautiful property and great pool area for kids. I loved that your feet could touch sand at the bottom of the pool! My kids had a blast digging in sand all day and going down the water slide over and over again. Pool area really is amazing but the service overall was substandard and not what you would expect at a Disney hotel and for the amount of money you pay to stay here. Staff was not overly friendly or helpful. This was our first time at this resort and we were excited to check it with our kids. We stayed at the Polynesian over Christmas and had an amazing time but wanted to try another Disney hotel. Big difference in service quality between the two. We did have an amazing server at our character breakfast and the food there was very good but other than that the service was just okay. We will probably not stay there again.

The kids are in a constant state of amazement in what comes around every corner! Disney characters interacting with the kids at a Breakfast Buffet and the beach style pool keep the kids screaming until they close the pool at around 8PM! EPCOT is within walking distance and everything else is a bus ride, boat ride or Jitney away! Bring your wallet because whatever you think it might cost, triple it!

Was placed in Room 4701, one of the noisiest hotel rooms we've stayed in. Service elevator noise throughout the night - they should cease elevator operation overnight. Soundproofing between rooms not very good. In addition loud music and public address from pool operations and roofing contractor outside the window with gas powered blowers and loud torches. Came down for a short visit to relax but had interrupted sleep and little quiet time in the room. We've been to Disney at least 8 times before and haven't experienced the level of noise we experienced on this trip. Paid top dollar for rest and relaxation but walked away tired and disappointed.

Somebody started yelling loudly outside my room at around 4:30 a.m. and kept going until about 6am. Ruined my sleep, which was the reason for my stay.

What a treat to stay at one of the Disney luxury hotels! It was fantastic! Loved the location (walked to EPCOT) and love, love, loved the unexpected free upgrade to concierge level! A day at Food and Wine and two nights at the Beach Club -- wonderful way to spend my husband's birthday!

Location, Location, Location! Walk to Epcot within minutes. Our room had a noisy air conditioner unit. And the walls are pretty thin so we could hear the crying children in the next room very easily. Cape May Cafe expensive but very good food. Disney staff extremely nice & helpful.

Staff friendly and helpful, most of the time. Daily construction immediately outside our room. Lot's of notices on site apologizing for the inconvenience, but not aware of construction when booking. Same thing happened when we stayed across the water at Boardwalk. Disney or Hotels.com should make people aware of that when booking, not upon arrival.Overall, everything else was great. We have stayed at all of the deluxe Disney resorts and this remains our favorite. Just hit it at the wrong time this time with the construction.

This is a beautiful hotel right in the middle of it all! Walk to the boardwalk, Epcot or boat to Holywood Studios..it's all here. We had a crying baby next door (all night) the first night and they were kind enough to move us in the morning. The pool (s) are the best Disney has to offer!!!!!

Didn't mention the construction all 3 days right outside the room. Pool also closed by our room. Facilities are very nice. But it felt like a retirement village. Pool was great. Location great.

The location of this hotel is great. You can walk to Epcot and the Boardwalk. The pool is very good. The staff is what you would expect from a Disney property. The only negative is that everything is expensive (but everything at Disney World is way overpriced).

Hotel and amenities with Yacht Club are wonderful. Pool area is amazing and proximity to Boardwalk is great for variety. Had a garden view room which was more a view of unmaintained area towards Epcot but we could see the fireworks when in room which was great. Only complaint is our room was very outdated, dark, not carefully cleaned on arrival, and had an odor at times which was explained by maintenance as carpet needs replaced. This wasn't a vacation we stayed in room much but for the price the room was very disappointing. They are renovating rooms so this shouldn't be a problem in the future but would request an updated room.

This is an expensive experience, but then all of Disney is expensive. If I were paying this price for a room somewhere else, I would have expected more room in the room, a newspaper delivered everyday, high-end bath products and gourmet coffee. That said, this location is, in my opinion, far better than other Disney properties.

Be sure to ask to set up your PIN for your Disney bracelet when checking in. You cannot pay for anything with the bracelet if you did not do this at the hotel. Our check-in attendant didn’t do this for us but fortunately we had cash on hand while at Epcot that day. Room service didn’t make an appearance despite us being gone at the pool for hours around lunch. Disney Vacation Club Marketing folks had no problem finding our room to drop off materials while we were out though. Wish housekeeping was with them. Called later to get replacement towels from housekeeping but no one ever showed. Overall it was a good stay in a nice hotel though there were a few minor service hiccups.

not only were they doing construction on our entire floor, drooling, hammering, there were hundreds of workers with the big loudmouth so we were trying to sleep at seven in the morning and eight in the morning every day. People were actually crying in the lobby because they wouldn’t let their friends swim in the pool with them, we were all miserable staying at this resort. Save your money, but way too expensive and they treat you like you’re on welfare here. no food horrible!!!

My family of 5 stayed at the Beach Club for 5 nights over Easter break, which we knew would be a busy time of year, but that’s the only time we could travel bc of work schedules and a new baby due in a few months. We have stayed here in the past without issue. When I booked our room, I could only book 2 nights of a standard room and 3 nights in a garden view (the garden was maybe $50 more a night)- this was all that was available. We checked in at around 12:30 and Desiree at the front desk was very nice and tried to be helpful; she said right away that she wanted to find us a way to stay 5 nights in the same room so that we wouldn’t have to pack up and move 3 young kids midway through the trip; I’m also 7 months pregnant, so she said she wanted to help in any way that she could- and I thanked her for this. We wait several hours and ultimately Desiree says that she can get us a standard room for 5 nights (granted, I’ve paid a higher rate for 3 nights in a garden review but at this point I’m ok (or so I think) with sacrificing the $ if I can stay 5 nights in one room. That is, until about 4pm that day when we are actually able to get into the standard room and I see that it is far from magical. The room itself was very dark and had a stink to it; the worst part was the view - the small balcony overlooked this disgusting, dirty gravel covered roof, and all of our balcony furniture was covered in dirt/soot. How could this be worth $500-600 night? It’s not!

I really liked the location of this hotel. Walking distance to the boardwalk and Epcot. I didn’t have to get on a bus to get somewhere different like you do with other Disney resorts. The pool here is amazing and the water slide is the best! I didn’t like the smell they pump into the lobby, but it doesn’t effect the room so that was minor. I’d stay again

Everything was very nice but when we checked in they had one of our rooms with only one gueen bed. I paid for 3 king rooms . They could not fix this since I booked through Expedia. I felt I should not have to pay the same amount, and probably will not use Expedia in the future.

This is our first experience at staying at a Disney property. It was wonderful. The location of this hotel is perfect. If you want to go to Epcot or Hollywood studios you just go down to the dock and catch a friendship boat. They run about 10-15 minutes and they take you right to the gate of the park. There are buses at the hotel entrance to the other parks and they run about every 20 minutes. You can have a hot breakfast in the marketplace for about 9 dollars. The buffet is expensive at 34 dollars a person, but the food is good. Disney characters at the buffet are Goofy, Donald and Minnie. Everyone was helpful and kind. No complaints at all.

As expected the hotel was very well presented and decorated beautifully for Christmas. The room itself was clean, comfortable, quite spacious and well equipped and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. It is in a great location - about a 5 - 10 minute walk to Epcot and the Boardwalk and next door to the Yacht Club resort. Getting to the other parks was also straightforward via either the Disney Buses or the Monorail from Epcot so I did not find the lack of a car to be a disadvantage. The hotel provided Disney Magic Bands at check in which acted as room keys and entry to the parks and Fastpass+ attractions. We also used them to charge purchases in the hotel and parks to our room account which was very convenient. My only criticisms of the hotel are in respect of the breakfast restaurant service and the handling of check out.At breakfast the main restaurant in the hotel was dedicated to character breakfasts, which carry a price premium. Although the hotel provides some other options (shop / deli), for a normal full service / buffet breakfast we had to go to the Yacht Club where we found there was a 40 minute wait whereas at our hotel we were seated immediately at the character breakfast.

The location and ability to walk to Epcot cannot be beaten. The room easily would acoodate 5 guests, even though we only had 2 of us. Everyone from the front desk to the lifeguards were extremely friendly and helpful.

By the way, you need a little good luck to get an affordable price. For most dates, the cost is beyond what we can afford for a multiple-day stay. However, we got a somewhat reasonable (though not cheap) rate by trying several different combination of dates to see when the price drops. In other words, we planned our vacation dates around the best hotel rates. Going in the off-season definitely helped.

Great location, excellent service and comfortable. Disney hotels are expensive, but on balance well worth it because of the benefits you gain in the parks including all transportation, right to book fast passes early and all round convenience. It you are going to Disney world, I would highly recommend this hotel

The hotel was very welcoming, good location for a short walk to Epcot, also Friendship boats from nearby Boardwalk which go to Hollywood Studios. Unfortunately my final bill had 2 charges for the Captains Grille at the Yacht Club which I had not even visited. After complaining, the Manager agreed to zero the account & refunded my Credit Card. I was told they sometimes have glitches with the Magic Bands !!! so check your bill charges.
