Cleanest Days Inn I have ever stayed at. Nice to not see holes in the walls and things in need of repair! A bit noisy for awhile on the ground floor, but it quieted down. My wife can't climb stairs very well.

Room was pretty clean and acceptable for a one-night stay, though there were gnats swarming in the bathroom area. Staff wasn’t very accommodating to shifting travel plans (early and late check outs), but convenient location to airport and Charleston’s northern suburbs.

Staff was super nice and helpful

The facility is older and is showing its age a bit. However, it has a fresh appearance in many areas. It is brightly colored inside and out, much like a Caribbean theme, with similarly themed artwork on the walls. The rooms, which are not especially spacious, have some modern updates. The two rooms we occupied were clean, neat, and well-organized, especially given their size. Each room had two queen beds and useful amenities (TV, refrigerator, an abundance of fresh towels, a hair dryer, an iron, and an ironing board, etc.) In fact, this is the first time in memory that I have had an iron that did not leak water and a substantial ironing board (not flimsy, broken, or missing parts) that was in like-new condition. "Sheree" (SP?), the person who checked us in, was terrific - friendly and helpful. The price, which included breakfast, was affordable and better than most hotels everywhere else we considered staying, especially given the exorbitant, outrageous cost of nearly everything in May 2026, and the reported gouging by some merchants. It was about a 15-20 minute drive to the Charleston Airport during morning traffic. I occupied a limited mobility room. The bathroom was well laid out, despite the close quarters getting into it from the bedroom. The walk-in/roll-in shower floor has a slight lip, which prevents the water from running onto the main bathroom floor. That is not always the case in other places. However, there is no soap dish or shelf on which to set personal cleansing products. The bed was too soft for my liking, not in the "comfy, like sleeping-on-a-cloud way," but in an unsupportive, sinking way. Its inner workings were very noisy, as if the foam was burping, and the sides collapsed when just sitting on the edge.

Shower pressure was AWESOME!! loved the hand held option. The design of the room is not good. Should only have one bed. The bathroom door hits the bed closest to the bathroom which makes it difficult to close or open. The mattress needs to be moved in order to open or close the bathroom door.

Parking was available for a truck with a trailer. Breakfast was basic and ok—no in-room coffee maker.

I did not participate in the "easy" check in process based on reviews from it so I visited the front desk, for check in. It didn't take long or the timing was just right. I get to the room and it was heavily smoked in. I escalated the complaint and there was nothing to be done. I called first thing the next morning and was able to get another room. No, it was not smoked in but later in the day, there were smokers next to the room. Not only that, there were several other guests who were smoking in the rooms. It was kind of mis-leading to request a non-smoking room to still be put in one. Hopefully it is something that is checked frequently but check the sheets and surrounding areas. The continental breakfast was bypassed due to timing. Microwave popped popcorn in a terrible way. Mini fridge kept water cold but unsure how cold it would keep other things. The motel was near retail stores, grocery store, fast food spots, and gas stations. I would NOT recommend walking in this area as traffic was not the greatest. This establishment was by the interstate and it was not the quietest. The walls are thin as you could hear your fellow guest doing whatever in the room next to you. I'm not sure if hotels.com signal certain RSVP to get the less than greatest bookings but this experience was not the greatest. The price was not sufficient for the level of stress

This location was an older motel that has been updated / renovated to fill an important role in the Charleston area - a clean, comfortable stay at an affordable price. Very friendly and helpful staff. Check-in and check-out were handled quickly and efficiently. Breakfast was good, all items appeared / tasted fresh. Parking was adequate, parking lot was in very good condition. The room was clean and had been updated recently. I would stay here again.

The location is wonderful and conveniently right off the highway. The staff is wonderful and extremely helpful ( for the most part) , stayed at location multiple times and this was the only time I half issue . Breakfast is great with combination of hot and cold selections. The housekeeping always great and room are cleans . Like that there is a washing machine and dryer for use of customer . The circumstances of having my reservation booked a week ago. Some mishap of canceling reservation in the hotel part but it was relatively fast fix .

Convenient location, room was sort of clean, used toilet paper roll and a makeup towel with lipstick stains was left in our room but no smell to the room, kind of had a sewage smell outside but it wasn’t too bad, they have free breakfast but the eggs smelled bad so we went across the street for McDonald’s. Can hear everything outside of your room we could hear people walking up and down the stairs and walking by our room even with the door shut.Pool is not heated so wasn’t accessible yet. Overall not a pleasant stay.

Best handicapped accessible room I’ve had the privilege to use. The facility is attractive and clean. Staff is friendly and engaged in hospitality. There is a breakfast which I did not try. Only drawback was no coffee pot in the room. I will stay there again.

My only complaint was that I didn't like the carpet. The beds were great. Breakfast was decent and tasted good. It was VERY CLEAN. This is my number one thing is that I want it to be clean and they did that. Staff was very friendly and I enjoyed my stay. I just didn't like the pattern in the carpet...lol. Other than that, I have no complaints.

The door for the bathroom was a little close to the toilet making the entrance and exit a little difficult, but it is understandable to make sure there is enough living space for the guests

Despite low occupancy on Friday 1/23/26, the desk clerk chose to put a guy right next to me (these rooms had an adjoining door) and this guy cursed and yelled into his phone until at least 1:30 a.m. It was miserable to endure, and he was so angry and foul-mouthed that I feared violence if I spoke up. This situation was totally unnecessary, as there were 20+ empty rooms on that side of the hotel. Why Days Inn is this incompetent - to put people right next door when there's so many other rooms available - is beyond me. Days Inn's incompetence cost me half my sleep, so I expect at least half my money in a refund. I'm a professional writer, and this review is going up on a new platform every day until this gets resolved. This was a horrible, unnecessary experience. Avoid, avoid this hotel.

The area seemed ok, but apparently it drawns a shady crowd because they require $100 which they keep if you smoke or bring pets in the room. I did neither, but I haven't had my money returned. The A/C didnt work and when my son moved around in his bed it sounded like someone banging a gong.

Our stay was overall pretty good! The staff was amazing. the only downside was It’s pretty noisy at night, and our room had a weird odor to it but other then that it was a great stay!

I was pleasantly surprised when we got to the room. It was clean and well maintained. Overall, this was a nice hotel. I would definitely stay here again. The only drawback, if you're going to Charleston, is that it was a 25 minute drive into downtown.

Beds were kinda uncomfortable and there was a bag over the smoke detector which was weird but other than that it was good for a one or two night quick stay. Check in was smooth and the lady working was nice. Everything was clean and nice being able to park right outside your door.

While the location is close to food shopping and eating, I would advise anyone to stay clear of this hotel.

Room had roaches. Saw 3..i was advised to take photos next time. I just killed them and slept with lights on. Mom was having surgery in the next morning. Was not a good experience.

The juice machine was damaged and we couldn't drink water or juice at breakfast there was only coffee

When we got to the room the bathroom was dirty, the refrigerator didn't work and had mold in it and the ac was sooo loud. The next day nothing was done. We had to check out and find another hotel last minute

Property was dated but good and clean. Staff were all courteous. Breakfast can be better such as changing menu daily.

Traveling solo and being disabled a ground floor is essential to me and was provided.

The room was very clean, so much better than most hotels, and there was no usual hotel odor. The room looked to be newly remodeled and was extremely nice. The beds were not double as advertised, but were more like twin and a half and were fairly comfortable. The vanity sink needed to have some drain cleaner for slow drainage and we pointed that out to hotel management in our review. Otherwise, the accommodations were excellent.

Roaches in our room, dead bugs behind bed, and they double charged my card on multiple things. Absolutely terrible and no compensation for anything.

It has roaches the employees was rude it was nosey there was big gabs at the bottom of the doors. Carpet was nasty would like a refund or something

Checking in was a breeze and the Receptionist was quite friendly and accommodating. We were happy with the clean room, and although we were not supplied with washcloths (thankfully I brought my own), there were no other issues where the room was concerned. The problem we had was that on the first morning of our booked 4 day stay, housekeeping was knocking on our door at approximately 10:15 a.m. to let know they're cleaning our side of the hotel. I told the housekeeper we're not checking out for another 3 days, but she still insisted on getting us to get out so she could finish cleaning the side of the hotel we're in so she could go to the other side of the building. So frustrating to be rushed when we don't have a timeline to leave the room if we're not checking out yet. Other than that, the Hotel is a fine hotel, and overall, the Staff that I did meet were hospitable and accommodating. I will book with this hotel again in the future.

We showed a military ID card and they failed to give us a military discount. When we tried to ask immediately after paying they said it was too late. This is how we treat the ones that serve our country? Other than that extremely clean, besides two old red stains on blankets (like OLD wine). Area can attract “interesting” people up at all hours as well. House cleaning service is SPECTACULAR! Just would like more love shown towards military…….

For what you pay for, its a nice clean little room! The facility as a whole was pretty old and run down, but the experience I had with staff was pleasant. The breakfast was little to be desired, I expected a little more virety wise but there was coffee so I was pretty happy. I would stay again in the future if need be, the location is nice, you get straight on 26 and take it wherever you need to go!

There is a McDonald's next door. Just past that is a 7-Eleven. The staff were very helpful when I needed some changes.
