At like three something in the morning, we got a phone call on the phone and said that we have to move rooms or check the bed or some stuff at three something in the morning

We usually stay in the romantic room. I love the jacuzzi tub. The bed we always get a great sleep in. It would be nice if there was at least a movable clothes rack to hang your clothes on and a table to set and eat at. Just in case you want to have a romantic dinner.

Very convenient close to the racetrack brand new carpet bathrooms. Everything is very nice.

Convenient, friendly Best Western is $85 too and more upscale and has breakfast. Patuxent Inn is $85 and is more run down. Price should be $65 a night.

There was no breakfast at the hotel, no coffee in room or near office I went elsewhere for breakfast and coffee There was a partial roll of toilet paper, almost out. No spare roll anywhere. I almost used up that partial roll. This is not how I operate my own household, much less a business

It was a low cost room for one night, no frills. The rooms are set up odd king bed up against the wall on one side. No real amenities in the room tiny soaps, small towels. Don't stay on the first floor, the 2nd floor squeaks every time someone above takes a step. Staff is behind a window, doesn't make you feel very safe.

The property needs a complete overhaul. Room setup stink. The sink slowly completely clogged. Water pressure for the shower was horrible. The only reason we stay there is because my wife smokes.

If you’re just looking for a cheap place to sleep for a few hours, this might work. But expect thin bedding, limited TV options, and a dated atmosphere. Our “non-smoking” room smelled like weed. The place could definitely use some TLC , working TVs, better bedding, and more effort to remove odors would go a long way.

The only service I received was they emptied the trash. Didn't vacuum room. Spilt coffee on the bed and didn't get clean sheets. House cleaning was almost non-existent

The staff was kind and helpful. It was obvious some updates have been made to the property, so they’re heading in the right direction. However, there were other items that needed attention: e.g. our air conditioner was missing knobs and the window latch was broken. Also, the room had not been cleaned thoroughly. We found a number of items from previous guests.

The receptionist was friendly and let me check in and have access to my room immediately. The room was clean and had been renovated nicely. The bath towels could be bigger and thicker, too small.

Good accessibility for trucks and trailers. The person who seemed to be the owner of the property, was rude when we first arrived. We backed into a spot in the back lot next to somebody with a boat,(we only had a small uhual trailer) he threw a fit about us parking there because it was next to his fence for his garden. Not blocking the gate or anything. Just by the fence. Had us move our truck and was impatiently trying to rush my family while we were trying to get bags out because we had just checked in.

We made a reservation, in advance. The day of our arrival is received a phone call from the manager saying they could not provide a handicap a cess room after responding 3 dayz before that it could br arrange. She spoke godawful broken English I couldn't understand and wouldn't shut up and listen to me when I told were we would be ok without the handicap room When we arrived after 9 pm we were told they had no rooms for us although they already got my $710.00 whicj has not yet been refunded. This is pure BS. I demand a refund These crappy management caused us yo have to scramble at 10 pm for another hotel witn 2 rooms Th8s place is terrible and poorly rin.

In the room they claim they are not welcome is because there is a hot tub, again the sinage they have posted only says to not leave children unattended, not they are not allowed. We stayed 2 nights of a 4 night booking until we were informed we needed to leave because of having a child with us. I'm not sure how they didn't see the child with us considering the door is directly in front of check in desk and I was talking to my son as we were bringing our stuff inside. When I booked with expedia, I searched for 2 adults and 1 child and your hotel came up. I believe it is a false advertisement to say your hotel is child friendly without explaining that certain rooms do not allow children. The first 2 nights were great, room was clean and had everything we wanted but because of the huge inconvenience your no child policy in a child friendly hotel, this left us with having to scramble and settle for something we did not want because you could not accommodate us with what we needed in another room, we had to find stay elsewhere. I've sent corporate an email explaining what happened and may report to BBB about the way you or Expedia advertises your site/booking pages. You need to explain clearly that not your entire hotel welcomes children.

The surrounding area was nice! Me and my brother had been there for a while on an extended stay. I had read the reviews and most weren't good. But they gave us a great rate for our extended stay. The front desk was always helpful. But the hotel has an infestation problem. We have moved rooms at least two times because of bed bugs, cockroaches, and ants. One of the guys that worked there said they were under the carpet. They need to renovate the entire hotel! So they basically kicked us out of the hotel because they said we were bringing in ants and bugs. Which was false! They just needed somebody to blame. Plus they said they were losing clients for canceling their reservation. Because multiple people have complained about the same exact thing. If you checkout some of the reviews on booking.com and on their Google page you'll see what I'm talking about! I just might take some kind legal action against them. This place should not be open!

Nothing fancy but the hotel staff were very friendly. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean. No breakfast but the are several places close by to eat. If you want a good sit-down breakfast, go to Marie's restaurant. They have been there over 40 years.

We picked this property because of the price, but it’s a you got what you paid for. We weren’t there much so it wasn’t too big of a deal. The water pressure is awful but it was hot! There were pubic/beard hairS in the one bed so we used the other. The towels were SMALL!! Bring your own soap & shampoo because theirs is minimal.

Second time staying here no complaints and housekeeping did show up to take trash, take soiled lined and bring new wash cloths and towels, and enjoyed my time.

Staff wasn't very helpful. My niece and nehpews came to visit (not stay the night). The front desk agent said they need to leave the room or she was going to call the police. There was 0 disturbance, 0 noise complaints and again they were being picked up shortly and not staying the night. Also reeked of smoke even though we were supposedly in a non smoking room.

The property is old but it was clean. They need to update the bed and the water preywas horrible..the Jacuzzi is what I came for. It did not disappoint but the room needs more lights.

The room was very clean and the bathroom was remodeled. The only problem I had was that the deadbolt lock was stuck and I had trouble unlocking the door. The front desk clerk was very attentive though. Also I felt that the mattress was too hard and uncomfortable.

Unfortunately, I had a family emergency and had to leave early around noon. I notified the front desk around 1pm and asked for a refund for the following night's stay, since I wouldn't be there. They said they'd call me back right away with an answer. Of course, they never called me. I've been emailing them as well with no reply. So I wasted over $100. I'll never stay here again.

The staff at this hotel was wonderful! We needed a place to stay Becuase we were attending the World Cup at MIR! It was super last minute and they accommodated our needs and we found a hotel that was only a 20 min drive from the raceway

Yellow bath, paint falls off from ceiling in bathroom. Sorry, but it is on a level of a motel. I do not understand how it got 7.8 reviews... This hotel should be around $50 per day in 2024.

Cons: Facility reeked of smoke, but my room was OK Chain on the door was missing. For a single female traveler this is important. Bath towels tiny and thin, I had to use two. Internet not working and cell signal not getting through, I think due to the cement blocks the hotel is built out off. No blanket, just a sheet. I do not recommend.

Thought I booked a non smoking room but when I got there they said I booked a smoking room and they were unable to give us a non smoking room. Understand but we never smoked and the room smell was terrible..........Thankfully we were only there 1 night. Likely will not ever book there again because of being not so clean either....

Ok place to spend a night, if you are on a budget. The staff is fantastic, but the hotel is rather old. The hallways and office smelled like smoke and weed, but luckily not my room.

I will start off by saying the Staff was good. Helpful and nice. But first thing to greet me when I walked in was a over whelming smell of Marijuana. The room was meh the mattresses were Hard the pillows were thin and tiny and the shower walls had hair all over them, looked like a Yeti showered before me. Location was on a main road so anything you needed was close by.

Room doesn’t have beds, it has cots. Entire facility, especially our room, smelled like skunk weed and cigarettes. Wash cloths full of holes. Not much rest sleeping in this environment!

I am a smoker and usually smoking rooms smell like ash trays. Patuxent Inn impressed me right from opening the door to my room. It was clean and odor free with equally clean and odor free towels and bedding. I would recommend to anyone who enjoys truly clean accommodations.

Just very, very nasty. Only because we couldn't book somewhere else that we had to stay horrible never ever. Again? Really, really blood on the floor. From someone using a hypodermic needle. It was very good cheap price to stay! It was clean and rustic hotel! We wish they provide better thick towels, one more trash bin, extra toilet papers and tissues. In overall we love the area where we can easily go eat or just shopping around!

I didn’t appreciate being called 30mins prior to check out. I paid my money to stay until check out (11am) and felt harassed about it. I can understand if I was there post checkout time but that was not the case. If I paid for my time I don’t expect to be bothered by the staff during my allotted time. When explaining this to the staff they got very defensive about me criticizing the situation and really didn’t care about how it looks from a guest point of view. Their attitude was just as cheap as the room prices and amenities. I guess you get what you pay for.

Stains everywhere, very dirty room, there was a used bandage that was left in the shower. As a weird smells in the rooms and hall.

Loved it, price, quiet, nothing fancy, wasn't looking for that, needed an affordable clean place!! Best of All, an actual Smoking Room & the place didn't smell completely of smoke!! Thanks!!

The bathroom was disgusting, housekeeping came and knocked on the door at 10:30 even tho check out is at the 11. I told them one second and they proceeded to come anyways. The lobby smelled so bad I almost threw up in my mouth

Front desk or explain things quite well. That was quite surprised that the room was very very neat. I had a great stay there but I planned on staying in the gym.

I slept in one bed and was accused of something I didn’t do or know about.

The room was disgusting. There were stains all over the bedding. The smell was terrible, the room hadn't even been dusted. There was rust in the shower. The lady at the counter was not friendly. I had to wait for her to finish smoking to come and check me in. The manager, Mistry, does not care. Will not give a refund. We had to stay in the filthy room because we were traveling through town and it was 11pm at night. You are better off sleeping in your car.

Be stayed there a few times before with no issues.

Room was very clean and new furnishings. Staff was super nice and helpful. Good price Loved the no smoking rooms in separate area. Didn’t smell from old smoke.

Simple, no frills, clean room, comfortable bed, newly renovated bathroom. 1/2 the price of other hotels in area. Just what we needed. Front desk staff super friendly. Young lady even volunteered to mail package home for me since shipping stores were closed on Sunday.
