Comfort Suites Kyle

By far one of the cleanest and most comfortable hotels ive been to in recent years. The location is excellent right off the freeway and near many stores and restaurants. Maybe the TV was a bit small but thats honestly me trying to find something negative in a basically perfect stay.

Close to where we needed to be. Good sized rooms Looked like it wasn’t well maintained lights out on elevator, buttons fixtures chipping in bathroom, ripped chairs by pool, not bad but headed in the wrong direction if not kept up with

The breakfast was good. The breakfast lady was very cheerful and always greeted us with "welcome to breakfast" and kept everything clean. Housekeeping did a good job. All staff was friendly. We could not get wifi in our room at all. It worked in the halls, and in the lobby. The desk clerk re-set it but still not working. Definitely need to upgrade that. We used up a lot of our own data in our room 225.

The breakfast was really good, except for the fried eggs on one of the days. I prefer scrambled. Easily accessible coffee. It would be nice to have Stevia in our room as well. Not much. The fried eggs weren't that bad. Would like to have sweeteners for the coffee and tea in the room as well.

After finally falling asleep abput midnight... at 3:30AM our room walls shook from a HUGE bang outside our room. My husband & I jumped up, I looked out the peep hole but didn't see anything. I called the front desk to inform them. The lady said, "ok, sorry." I looked out our window that faced the front entrance to see 2 teenage boys running from the side entrance of the hotel in front of the entrance across the parking lot. I called back to tell then to call the police & look at the cameras. The lady again said, "ok, sorry." Not much sleep after that, so we got up at 6am to get ready for my nieces college graduation. In the elevator we chatted with other guests about the banging we experienced, they too heard it and we realized the 2 boys had gained access inside & were running the halls banging on the doors of the rooms then ran out. This is a safety concern & should be taken seriously. I don't think we will stay here again when we visit Kyle,Tx.

Would be nice if hotels, in general, would provide enough lighting in the bathrooms for people over 50 to be able to see to apply makeup, or anything else.

What appeared to be cereal crumbs on carpet in room and dust all over alarm clock, linens smelled like rubbing alcohol or other chemical, and pillows were so small and soft they offered no support. Had to visit my chiropractor when I returned home.

Breakfast was mediocre, not cuisine but the effort was noted. Good quality yogurt. Coffee was watery and eggs hurt my stomach. When I arrived the mgr on duty was friendly and helpful. Offered me water. The black guy after him was indifferent and not friendly. Morning was friendly again. Nice. The thermostat turned off during the night and I kept waking up with the heat. Wifi was spotty and kept dropping off. The room had a stale smell that got on my clothese but bed and pillows were nice.

It was very clean and everyone was great. Only issues i had was card wouldnt open pool, and i set my towels out in the hall and they never rrplaced them. Other than that great place. Would definitely stay here again.

I was quite surprised how big the rooms were, the beds were super comfy. They did have breakfast but it ended at 9am so I wasn't able to see what they served otherwise it was a very nice stay. Comfortable and clean no complaints

The check in staff was amazing, we rebooked it after we stayed last week. So this may be our go to hotel in san marcos/kyle. My family loves it.

It is a very nice and clean hotel. It's in walking distance to stores and some restaurants/fast food.

This property is extremely outdated and rundown. When we entered our room, it smelled of onions bok choy & garlic. The stench was extremely overpowering and overwhelming. For a non-smoking hotel it smelled of old Las Vegas casino. Food option for breakfast was good. That was the only perk. I won’t be staying here ever.

my top blanket had dirty spots all over it the sofa had dog hair was nasty to sit on the no wifi was horrible it was bad enough we had no good phone service but then no wifi it made things really bad we were there for two family events and unable to communicate the best experience is the lady that sets up the breakfast she has the most joyous spirit! She made our day with her positive attitude and vibe! The best experience we've ever had I been to many hotels and by far she is the best when it comes to a welcome!

This place has an odor - it seems dated and needs updating - the first room we were assigned had a bad odor - the clerk reluctantly showed us a 2nd room that was equally musty and smelly - we had to leave and find another place to stay

We had a great stay with a super friendly staff. My only complaint is that our room had beer caps from previous guests and gum/candy on the wall. Otherwise the room was nice and clean.

The operations Mgr was very helpful & pleasant each time we saw him & quick to resolve an issue with our room key when we first arrived

As soon as we were getting ready to go to sleep we were accompanied by not one but multiple unwanted friends (BED BUGS!!!!) the hotel staff didn’t seem to care! We had to wait almost fifteen minutes to check in (in the middle of the day) because the front desk was unattended. However, many staff were super nice and friendly including the young Philippino man at the front desk.

This is in the perfect place… so convenient for eating and shopping!! My check in was extremely easy and the two attendants at the desk were extremely kind when I explained to them that my husband had just been released from the hospital after surgery and couldn’t walk very far… they found us the perfect room and I truly appreciate their kindness…I want to add that our room was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in… it’s also a very safe place to stay and parking is great!! Feel confident in booking a room here… it’s worth every penny!!!

Not necessarily a hotel with hotel with top of line features but we just needed a one night stay at a good price. I will say the hotel is in an excellent location! I filled my drink cup that has a lid and straw with ice water before going to sleep. When I got up the next morning there were ants all over it. On top, inside, all over the lid and on the nightstand! There was nobody at the front desk to talk to it about so we left. I’m pretty sure I consumed a few ants in the middle of the night and the cup was right next to the bed. Ewww!

I plan to stay at the motel weekly & thought that I would get better accommodations. The front desk gentleman was argumentative & was debating with me about requests. He also pointed out that I had booked a King bed room on “ Expedia “ & that’s all he could give me because he could not make a change. I asked for any other available room & he said I had gotten unreasonable with him. He finally offered to call his manager after I said I was leaving. Within 15 minutes he spoke to his manager and suddenly had an alternate room It’s sad because prior to this I had much different experiences.

The check-in was terrible. If I can help it, I will not stay at another Comfort Suites, period. Check in was to be at 3pm and did not occur until 6:00pm. They kept saying they had been overloading and were trying to get the rooms cleaned. This lame excuse was not very "Comforting" when you have been to the when you are exhausted from driving and just want to take a shower and relax.

Not fancy, but a very nice hotel. Our suite was comfortable. Unlike a lot of places, everything seemed to be well-maintained and just work. TV was a bit small, but there were a lot of channels. Good area: Kyle is a fast-growing far suburb of Austin, with a lot of nice retail developments within a few miles north, and San Marcos to the south. There's a Target, Chickfila, IHOP and McDonalds within walking distance.

This was the closest hotel I could find to the Lady Bird Johnson gardens. It was so convenient to this venue. It was quiet and well maintained. An attendant was available in the breakfast area. They have waffle irons that make waffles in the shape of Texas!

Bed was comfy has a seating area in the room which is nice. Only dislike is that the shower has a half door,not a closing door or curtain. Just not my preference.

From the moment I walked in the Lobby to check in I was greeted by a friendly young man working in guest services & he quickly checked me in. Breakfast was served at 6 AM on a Saturday which was very important to me because I was checking out by 6:30 to go to work. The furniture in the room could be replaced as it’s a busy location, & could be upgraded. Otherwise the stay was excellent.

Suite was much more spacious than o expected. Central ac in the unit instead of one of the window units you see in every hotel. It was a block off the interstate so very quiet. My wife suggested we sign a lease and move there ;)
