Spacious room convenient to where we were planning to go

I liked the lighting, TV size was very nice. The freeway noise was insanely loud, and the room was musty.

Met by extremely friendly staff who went out of her way to get us a room on the ground floor. Room was spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. Room was a great price we will be staying again.

The location was great it was close to shopping and restaurants. I was very disappointed that since I booked through Expedia I wasn’t reimbursed for leaving early they charged me for the whole trip. It was unfortunate because when I have family come to town it would be convenient to stay there. Also they only clean every third day so our room would only be cleaned one night during four nights stay.

My rest room smelled like poop and it didn't go away. The lights went out the last day or morning when I was there. I was a sleep when the lights went out. The TV and lights were on in my room. The hall wall was very dark the emergency hall lights came on every few minutes. Other than that it was great!

Power went out and so did the hot water. There were no emergency lights so pitch black on our floor. No apologies or rewards offered for the inconvenience . Pool and hot tub were closed. The whole place smelled. Then they ripped the whole carpet out on our floor during our stay and left it exposed. Straight up dangerous. On our exit we saw a cockroach. Don’t stay here for real.

The room had a funky smell, like moldy stank carpet. The AC was louder then vehicles at F1; but the cherry on top was only having a sheet and a textured sheet on the bed. No comforters, no comfort, just a cheap springy bed with sheets. It’s weird because the hotel is $30 less than the courtyard. I will never make this mistake again. Save yourself, book elsewhere. The staff was extra friendly and helpful. Also, our power went out after the storm so, the stank in the room got louder.

The property itself is so beautiful. There’s a mini shop inside for toiletries/snacks forgotten. The lady at check out in the morning isn’t the friendliest but not rude. I’m not a morning person either so I understand! Forgot about this from last time but the bed sheets are thin, no blankets. :( but doesn’t prevent us from staying here!

Everything was great except a heavy musty smell in the two rooms that we booked. Pet friendly, which is great, but the smell was strong enough to make us go and buy some air fresheners for the rooms. The whole family enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi since it was raining!

The male I spoke with verified and gave me the ok and I also sent a message to the property and received an ok. Once my daughter got to the property the women at the desk was rude kept saying I didn’t speak to no man at this property because there was no male staff lies. Once my daughter was checked in the next day guess who was at the front desk two male staff workers. They can do better with customer service. Yes I have all names written down and proof of call and message sent to property.

All of it. I wasn't able to stay and couldn't cancel that night. When I called booking and Jennifer the gm all I got was a run around. I come down to this area very often. I will not be staying at this hotel, ever.

I don’t remember the guy name that was working when I checked in but I will say he showed great hospitality !! He was absolutely AMAZING !! He constantly checked on us throughout his shift !!

Overall great experience. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We had family above us and heard stomping all throughout the night. Rooms also get very cold & the blankets on the beds are think and sheet-like.

We stayed for 2 nights. It was good. Staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The bathroom could be more cleaner. I noticed the shower head needs an upgrade. It was crusted with white sediments not sure if they are molds. I hope they do about it. Thank you.

Our room was very nice and roomy. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. I don't like walk in showers. Water goes everywhere making floor slippery. Too tired to ask for change. Why did motels quit putting heat in bathrooms? No matter how warm or cool the room. The bathroom is cold. I nearly freeze.

The room, pool, and breakfast room were clean and the staff was hard-working and pleasant. Gail at reception was so kind and friendly, making us feel welcome, seen, and appreciated. There were a couple of maintenance issues - not directly affecting our stay- that prevent me from leaving a 5-Star review for the property, but the experience was better than expected.

Check in was mishandled. We had two parties with same last name which arrived at different times. My room was given to my son. They said they couldn't fix it. Then out room room was not serviced. No coffee service on 2nd day due to no service. Keys didn't work second night. When problems voiced they just made excuses.

We were given a room next to a person who had multiple dogs “barking loudly” as we were approaching our door. We requested another room far from this terrible disturbance. My room I had to kill a couple roaches along with over grown kids playing knock knock on my room door at 4/5 in the morning the attendant at the front desk offered a snack out the snack room no accommodations no nothing not to include I had a 7 hour drive to take before check out NEVER AGAIN!

Staff was friendly and professional. Anything I needed they did their best to accommodate. The indoor pool was definitely a PLUS with the grandkids. This may be our new Christmas tradition when visiting family in Texas.

I stayed at this hotel recently and at first glance the hotel and room looked fine but then I discovered roaches. This made it super uncomfortable. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the pest control problems so future guests can have a better experience.

The staff at the front desk were wonderful and helpful. Breakfast was very good and well stocked. Pool heater wasn’t working while we were there. We only had housekeeping two times and they were not very thorough. Floors were not cleaned supplies not refilled.

Only 2 usb connections in room. One on each side of bed. One side didn’t work. Outlets on that side of bed didn’t work. Breakfast was very poor. Property was generally clean and otherwise the room was fine. Probably won’t stay there again.

My Husband and I had the most wonderful stay on our Anniversary trip--location was great--check in was simple and quick with friendly/professional staff--room was clean and everything worked(we had handicap room)--the shower was amazing--we enjoyed the breakfast and had something different every morning--all staff were friendly and helpful--the Spa was awesome--we were definitely impressed and plan to stay again in the future!!

This was by far the cleanest hotel. I stayed in in a very long time, and I travel in August every year, to different cities and the one in Kingwood was beautiful The maids even folded my pjs each morning while i was out.

We checked into a non-smoking room that reeked of marijuana, this smell was so strong that it made us nauseous. The front desk manager provided an alternative room on a different floor, but the inconvenience of relocating was unreasonable, and the new room was extremely hot.

Having breakfast over at 9 is ridiculous- especially on weekends. Elevator did NOT work. An employee mentioned that the elevator had not worked for 2 weeks! Really ? On a positive note, all employees were nice n helpful- especially the lady at the desk on July 18 afternoon.

The breakfast room had furniture stacked in one area. And when you walked in the lobby, furniture was stacked in a side area. Not sure what was planned for the excess furniture. The staff was great. The breakfast was ok.

I have stayed in a lot of La Quinta inn’s and this was the worst. The staff was very friendly and I had no issues with them. I will say they are in the process of a much needed refurnishing but this was the worst one I ever stayed in.

Overall it is a nice facility. Room was clean and pool and hot tub area was smaller but nice. They were doing some renovations and there was construction material in the open but it was organized. Check in and out was smooth. The back door wouldn't open with a key so it was constantly propped open. The neighborhood was quiet and safe so the door was of little concern

This hotel is the absolute worst, the hotel manager stood in front of me and tried to help while going in the back on the phone refusing any help to fix a simple mistake. Would not recommend to anyone!!!!!

The walls were painted with high gloss white paint and the light bulbs were harsh white light. The combination was awful as the walls reflected the harsh light and made the room feel barren and uncomfortable. A flater paint and softer lighting would have made a huge difference. We shut off the lights and just kept the bathroom light on. The bedspreads were very thin and not cozy at all. Overall the room, while clean, lacked ambiance. Didnt want to spend much time in the room. The bodywash dispenser was empty.

I had a dead spider by my bed and the pool windows were pretty dirty.

Very clean property, surprisingly nice breakfast for a small hotel, beds were comfortable, and bathroom was very clean. Everything was very nice. Staff was very accommodating when we had to switch our reservation to another weekend because my son’s football camp got postponed due to bad weather. Thank you for a very nice stay!

Great staff and rear street access to the lotcation and building was very convenient.

The room was huge and extremely clean. The hot tub was nice and the clerk that checked us in made it super easy to check in and out!

The staff was very friendly. The rooms had been recently remodeled. It was nice to stay in a motel that actually served a full breakfast insteady of just dry cereal and juice. Ill stay there again next time im in town.

The room and the hotel was very clean and welcoming. The breakfast was fresh and hot and stocked. We felt safe and will definitely stay again.

I loved my stay here at the La Quinta. I came because i couldnt make it home during the freeze and the icy roads. My room was clean, the floors weren’t dirty and the shower was nice. Althought water gets everywhere. The bed was so cozy that it was hard for me to wake up for work lol. When i checked out Cassandra was so nice and friendly ☺️

The staff where amazing, I sleep during the day and my room was next to house keeping laundry room a bit noisy for daytime sleepers

I had a medical emergency and never could get a hold of Expedia cancelations.There was a on line feature.. that told me that I wouldn't 't get any money back and said " if I wanted to cancel , press something and when I did it didn't accept it. I did call the hotel......who was very understanding ..to let them know we would not be there. I guess I will just work thru the hotel. Expedia did nothing....Very disappointed...

It is very hard to sleep due to the closeness of the freeway and the constant traffic!

The room was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub although at times, the hot tub did not feel as hot as it should have. One day, we did specifically ask for a refresh and it never happened. The breakfast each day was delicious and the staff was very friendly. The $rate for our stay was excellent!

The manager Oscar is terrible with customer service. Gale will pick with you based on the color of your skin. Dey was excellent!

Additionally, the "breakfast" the next morning was also disappointing. The coffee was barely lukewarm, there was no creamer (not even in the kitchen when I tracked down staff to ask for some), and the supplies were understocked. This hotel REALLY needs some work on cleanliness (especially a DEEP CLEANING), and training for staff to properly maintain the dining area food, drinks and supplies. Honestly, the best part of our stay was the friendly, professional greeting of Gail at the front desk when we checked in, weary from traveling all day. We will NOT ever stay here again, nor would we recommend it to anyone.

What a way to dicourage return customers.

At about 12:30am, I went to the lobby to ask if they ever received a response about the PIN and get some drinks but there was no one at the front desk, I took three drinks. Upon checking out, there was a different front desk person (a female), which I explained the situation with the TV and how I was not satisfied but she said she was”unaware of this issue” and that she was “sorry but thank you for reporting the issue”. I told the Front desk personnel I needed to pay for the drinks, she stayed “don’t worry about it, for all the inconvenience”. The personnel that I did come in contact with were all very courteous (I truly believe the evening front desk personnel was trying to get the pin for me and unfortunately he was just unable to, What made me more upset was that they never tried to contact me in either of the two rooms or on my cell let me know that they would not be able to get PIN and the lack of communication between staff. The hotel/rooms were very clean and Breakfast was delicious!

Bed was stained, springs coming out of the bed, very humid in the room and no breakfast as advertised

Hotel advertises breakfast which was not available. Hot tub is broke-water is ice cold. We also had an unauthorized charge of $235 on top of our original room charge which was $185. No solution to this as of yet. Every excuse was “because of the hurricane” which happened 2 weeks ago-even the unauthorized charge was blamed on the hurricane. I have a gut feeling they are taking full advantage of fema people & not providing services that they advertise for. We have stayed here numerous times & cannot recommend at this time.

Stay here for work often. Good location

The desk manager is awesome. She was friendly, welcoming, accommodating. Her warm, caring spirit makes one want to return!

It was very quiet, clean and staff was friendly.

So after all that they gave us the keys to the “executive room with pull out bed”. We got to the room and no sofa at all. We went back to the receptionist again. They started giving us the run around about that they didn’t have a sofa bed??!! He later came back with the keys to another room. I guess they figured it out cause this new room did have a sofa bed. The room was ok. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The hotel itself was a little beat down. The manager was very nice and tried her best to make things better. I don’t think I would be staying there again.

Bright white lights all over, cold tiny lobby with tile floors, bar area closed all weekend, hosting a very large very loud grad party in that area, gave away our suit that we had already paid for, room was run down and beat up, cold tile floors, 3 pillows on each bed, 1 towel in the bathroom, power went out several times. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here! The courtyard a half mile away is WAY WAY nicer!

This facility is near my son's home, so a good option for us. Amenities are generous, and we enjoy staying there.

Instructions on how to use the hot tub would have also been a positive item to have.

The apps on the TV would not connect and the staff stated they did not know how to fix it. We asked for extra towels and we never got them. The windows were very thin so we heard all the traffic and the interior need updates. The positives were cleanliness and the mattress was encased in a protective plastic wrap for hygienic purposes
