Tried sleeping in my car

The restaurant in the parking lot is reasonably priced with pleasant staff and great food.

There were bugs and roaches in the room. Also the restrooms were not cleaned.

Clean Fruendly staff

The room was clean, but the bathroom needed a counter to put items on. The staff check in lady greeted my husband with: "what do you want?" We have stayed at other Motel 6's and never experienced this kind of treatment.

I booked a room that specifically said microwave and refrigerator in the title and in the room description. Upon arrival, my room did not have a microwave and I was told that they had taken the microwaves out of all of the guests rooms. I travel for an entire week and rely heavily on a microwave and fridge to store and prepare my food. The front desk associate did nothing to rectify the situation.

I stayed one night this trip. I have stayed here before which shows that I trust this property. It is not the Ritz, however. It is a place with a clean bed and shower. I like that the floor is tile rather than carpet as it seems cleaner. I had no trouble with the staff or anything on the property.

Property is in decent shape, it's old. The room looked new/remodeled. The MVP was tbe staff. Both staff members I encountered were helpful & courteous. If you just need a comfy bed & place to keep your clothes......this is a solid choice. Close to the vibey area of Kingman as well.

We were shocked to find no refrigerator or microwave and were informed that that was standard practice now. The curtain for the front window viewed from the walkway was ripped and had holes poked in it and was visible to anyone walking by. I persuaded the desk clerk to let me have some packing tape to make a temporary repair. The shower rod in the bathroom was torn loose from the walls on both ends and I was surprised that I could take a shower without an accident happening, but I was dirty and in need of that shower after our trip to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. The exterior shows a building gradually or not so gradually falling apart from dry rot and crumbling concrete. The bed was nice though and the air conditioner finally cooled everything down.

I would’ve booked a third night with you at hotels.com but it’s so difficult to cancel and rebook another room. I just canceled the one I accidentally booked across the town and paid motel six

Value, bed, hot water and cold AC. Pet friendly. The little Motel 6 isms: The wall around the shower handle was a little crumbly and cracked. The sink water pressure was comically strong...like touch and spray the mirror, counter and floor.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The cleanliness of the room was disgusting. The floors were so dirty when I wiped up spilled water the paper towel was BLACK. There were footprints and hair from previous occupant all over the floor. The shower is so dirty and stained that we actually wore our sandals in it to shower. Towels were stained and dingy. The only reason I gave this place a 2 star is because the bed was clean and comfortable. Probably the only clean thing in the room. The mattress looked new. I would not stay here again or recommend this place to my family and friends. Also, there is road construction going on that we had the pleasure to wake up to at 4am.

Would prefer the rooms to be cleaner but I'm a lead housekeeper in various hotels so nothing will probably ever live up to my expectations. Sorry but it could be a cleaner room. First of all, second of all there should be more seating choices. There's nowhere to sit and eat. I don't like that but other than that for the price you're getting a great deal and the fact that I have never found bed bugs in 5 years that I've been going there. I appreciate you guys for that

It was basic but clean and comfy for a 1 night stay. Close enough to walk to the Historical District. No haidryer!

The stairs have narrow steps and broken concrete. Be careful. The trash recepticles outdoors are dirty. The shower/bathtub is severely stained. Appears like buildup. The water saving nozzle on sink causes water to splatter. There is no ice machine in the area. You will need to walk all the way to the check in area to get ice. The AC was good, floor was wood laminate. All good there. Bed was firm and comfy. Pillows were too soft for me. There is no refrigerator or microwave or coffee maker. No cleenx tissue. No drinkable water.

I was very pleased when we arrived a couple of hours early and our room was ready for check-in. The property appeared clean however, the bathtub could use a thorough scrubbing, it should be white when clean. I would also say the floor shouldn't look dingy when clean. My other issues were with the fridge and AC, the knob was removed from the fridge so it could not be turned down and barely cooled our beverages and food. Second, the AC was missing the control buttons, making it extremely difficult to adjust the temp. In general, I would stay again in hopes my issues were an anomaly but I am disappointed I paid $250.00 a night and could not adjust the AC or have cold drinks from the the fridge.

Lots of space to walk the dogs, gotta love that. Convenient location for me as I was doing some work in Golden Vally, about 8 miles away (west). Price was great this time (not good at all later in the month, went from 50 bucks a night to 150 bucks a night, YUCK!!! Overall it was a good stay.

It's your average motel 6. Staff was great though. Super friendly and accommodating. They let me leave my luggage in the office for a bit while i waited for my rental car to be ready.

The bath tub was old and stained hard to tell if it was dirty or clean. Over all the floor was completely dirty, probably a health hazard!

The bath tub was disgusting, I wore my flip flops in there to shower. The walls are so thin I could hear the people next to me. The dryers in the laundry room took over an hour to dry a load.

What we needed was a hotel that was clean, excepted pets, and had a comfortable bed for one night, it was that.

After 12 hours driving, my wife was looking forward to a 'hot' bath...until she saw the tub. It was so badly degraded, that she wouldn't even shower in. She said it would be impossible to disinfect something like that. Turns out, she wouldn't have gotten a 'hot' bath anyway, no hot water. To be fair, later that night, after she had gone to bed, there was finally hot water.I assume someone fixed the problem. Good stuff, the ac, as damaged as it looked, worked well, and quietly, unlike the ac in the motel 6 we stayed at in CA two weeks ago. The room was clean if you didn't look into corners, like most older motels, the fridge, tv, and micro, worked. Far enough from the interstate to be quiet. And they allow pets. This 6 has a restaurant in front of the lot. We didn't feel like going, but at 7pm, it was packed, might be worth checking into. For the price, still a deal, but next time we'll check things better before unpacking.

We didn’t need to use the laundry area but it was very handy and opened 24 hours a fay if we needed to. Restaurants, shops, stores were all close by. It made our long weekend with my dad so much easier.

Room is very spacious, only issue is that the king size bed frame/support is about 6 inches bigger than the mattress. Both my wife and I banged out legs on it several times. Plenty of parking and lots of space to walk the dogs. Restaurant nearby is excellent.

Lots of noise from room above us.

Staff was very nice and the room was clean and nice comfortable bed. The people next door left at 5am and were super loud but nothing the hotel can do about people not having any respect for their fellow travelers. I would stay again if the need arises.👍

Convenience of the highway and a nearby diner for breakfast makes this a great not-to-fussy place to stay the night on a cross country drive. Staff is always great, as I've stayed here many times over the past few years.

Not going to stay here again. We had no hot water or lukewarm water for showers in the morning. Was given a handicap room when I wasn’t asked if it was OK. The room was overly sanitized with the smell of Fabuloso detergent. they just threw it down the drain it just kept permeating in the bathroom drain.

This hotel is spartan even by Motel 6 standards. No refrigerator or microwave, free internet which you have to choose not to be charged extra, and not a lot of water pressure. On the plus side the room is big, and I was able to leave the window ajar for a good night's sleep.

This was one of the better Motel 6s I've stayed in. The location is great (quiet with lots of green). The rooms are nice (enough) and clean. And the staff are friendly and efficient. Truly hard to improve on this at such an affordable price.

The Motel is conveniently right off the highway and the room was clean. Check in was easy and quick. There is a great family restaurant right next door. Overall good except I had requested an accessible room, but ended up with a room upstairs.

This is a typical Motel 6 with two exceptions. There is a restaurant on the premises, which has a very nice salad bar and other options. The other plus that works for us is a very large parking area in the back which we need because we have a pick up pulling our 40’ trailer with our jeeps on it. So this works very nicely when we go over to Jeep in the Kingman area.

Definitely it's the worst motel/hotel we've ever stayed. The room was very poor condition and the bathroom was very, very dirty. Terrible place!

The room was definitely not very clean. The floor left black marks on my socks and the tub had a lot of hairs in it from what appeared to be someone who had shaved in the tub. I found some kind of cat or dog food in the chair in the room. Overall, it was just very dirty.

Towels that were folded in the bathroom were cleary dirty and already used and not replaced. The floors were filthy. I spilled a lil bit of water and when I wiped it up with their rag, the rag was left black from dirtiness

Size of the room was great. I just motels would change the lay out of the bathrooms. Some people need to get up and ready earlier which is very dufficult to do with the sink area being open, if you turn the lights on you blind your spoise

I wish the staff would have told us that there was free coffee and pastries in the lobby every morning and a pool, given that it was 100 degrees in July and we stayed for a few days. I was really bothered that they never cleaned our room after we left every morning to our daily activities and we had to repeatedly ask for clean towels.

This horel was great for a bight whike teaveling with our dogs. The front desk wonam was extremely friendly and helpful. It was a little dated.

The lady at the reception desk was rude. There is a restaurant/bar in the parking lot so a lot of loud drunk people. Some door dinged my car and did extensive damage yet motel 6 isn’t responsible for you cars in their lot the share with the bar patrons. Room had a weird smell, carpet was dirty and the bathroom needed to be cleaned again. The toilet shoots water on you when you flush as well, just gross.

The price was right but the pool is not heated and wasn't clean. No fridge in room. If you need an iron and ironing board the front desk has them. Hot water takes a minute ro begin flowing.

The room that we stayed in the bathroom was terrible it didnt look like it had been cleaned at all... when we asked for more pillows they told us they had to see if there was any and never let us know... the place is very loud lots of traffic and the train that goes past is loud not the place to stay if you want quiet

The bath tub, spout, and tub faucet didn't look like it had been cleaned in some time! There was a large wad of black hair laying on the bathroom floor!!!! The A/C unit sounded like a bearing was bad in the fan motor and mad some awful noise the entire time it was being ran.

Close to hwy and great food next door. AC was blasting in our room which was exactly what we needed after driving hours without AC in the car.

Good AC Bed and shower, only bad thing, no shampoo. I realized that after I was undressed, luckily I had my own.

Very sweet and nice woman at desk when I checked in , the only thing I can say is at least have the fan going when it is 110 outside and go easy on the room spray

The room is nice and clean the headboard has a light that stays on could not find the switch to turn it off. Did not care for the headboard light rather sleep in the dark. So I did not sleep well. Will not be staying here again.

When you walk in to your room at first glance it does look very nice and clean. However the sheets had hair on them the sink was clogged and the fins on the ac broken. If you’re looking to save money and just sleep for the night this motel is in a perfect spot but don’t expect anything more. All stores are very close and the historic site is within walking distance.

Good morning, I was charged twice for my stay. I paid upfront prior to coming then your front desk person mistakenly charged my card again. She caught it and called my room and said that she would reverse it, which she did. After a couple days the reversal fell off and the charge posted. The property was perfect for our stay. I usually only stay at a motel 6 when traveling with a pet and do not expect much. This one surprised me, it was better than most for sure. The staff was pleasant too.

No microwave, refrigeration , hair dryer or even coffee pot. They also have zero breakfast. Coffee in the office until 10am only. Dirt under the beds. Though the bed was comfortable and overall quiet, hotel is convenient to restaurants and working walking to the historic part of Kingman.

I had a slight change of plans so only stayed two nights instead of three, and the manager very generously refunded me for the night I didn't stay. Everyone was helpful and friendly, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Unacceptable. Dirty floor, disgusting bath tub, no hairdryer, noisy (squeezed between railroad and main road). How bad do American motels have to go before respecting guests? This is the worse place we stayed in compared to Europe, Greece, Egypt, Morocco. Is it greed, nonchalance or incompetency? Probably all.

I've stayed at this hotel two times the first time the neighbor kept me up all night I had no sleep at all they reimbursed me for my stay this time you couldn't use the bathroom sink because the water came out so hard and so fast that it's sprayed everywhere you couldn't use it at all the TV you only got very few channels most the channels were gone and they had no way of fixing it so I had basically no TV unless I wanted to watch cartoons sports or news if I'm spending almost $70 on a hotel room I want to be able to watch all the channels that are available I won't be back to this hotel two strikes you're out

Bathtub is severely stained

Bathroom was very dirty the bathtub drain did not drain properly.

We checked in late, around 11:30 pm. The lady at the front desk demanded my and my wife's licenses; my wife was in the truck. How ridiculous. The room was extremely dirty. The floors looked like they had never been cleaned. The bed sheets were full of hair and not clean at all—absolutely disgusting. The bathroom floors, the bathtub—everything was dirty. There was no soap ! Stay anywhere else !

The motel stairs are not the best—cracked and rough and a little difficult to navigate in the dark—but usable. Get a downstairs room if stairs are an issue for you. The location was fairly quiet and the desk staff persons were efficient and affable. The king room was spacious and well-provided with cheap towels. Bar soap was provided, but no shampoo.

For a Motel 6, it wasn't bad. It's your very basic hotel without any extras. The staff was very helpful. They need to clean up the trash from the bushes around the property. When you walk your dog you see this kind if stuff. It's definitely a dog friendly hotel. The only scarry part about staying here is when I left the hotel to walk my dog tge next morning there were two police cars parked near my room searching someones vehicle. That was kind of alarming. This room was definitely cleaner than our previous room at the Ramada.

This is the dirtiest place i have ever stayed. FILTHY! The health department should shut this place down! I plan on reporting them, people are going to get sick. Mold, dirt, lint, leaky faucets, dirty towels....disgusting!!

Wife asked for hot water for tea and asked again and was told not to come ask again. FYi-the coffee service is only at 6am. Not 530. So dont ask.... Went to use microwave in Luandry room and there was a large PitBull in the luandry room sitting by the door on the inside(it is glass and glad of that, otherwise who knows what would have happened) so we were afraid to go in. Told the front desk there was a dog in there and they said it belonged to the girl in room 110 or something. So what is the dog doing blocking access to the facilities? Dangerous. Otherwise typical Motel 6. They could do the guests a favor and just clean the floors with hot water instead of soaking them in disinfectant. Its spread on so thick it dries on the floors and made them feel sticky, also you can sort of see where it dried on there. Plus it stinks like what one imagine a prison would smell like.

The rooms were filthy dirty Person at the front desk was very rude when we checked in. Place needs to be burned down.

It was dark when we got there and seemed isolated, although it wasn't. The restaurant beside it had lit open signs but was closed.. not their fault. We were assigned a second floor room and asked if we could have a ground floor, as my arm was in a cast and at 73 yrs of age it was difficult having to walk our suitcases up the stairs. Reception said she couldn't do that. The ground floor parking for rooms never even got half full by 11pm, so I don't think they were occupied. I felt she could have been more accomodating.

My ac and tv didnt work in my room and wasnt even told til after i paid and checked in by a girl that took 30 minutes to even say anything to me just to tell id have to wait to check in til she was done doing whatever she was doing and it was after 2am when i got there and after 3am before i got a room key

There were cockroaches in the bathroom And we found 1 walking along the headboard The toilet took like 30 minutes to fill up and the air conditioner was filthy with dust bunnies falling out from underneath it I informed them when I left of what I had found

The room itself was fine but the bathroom…not so much. It had not been cleaned properly (traces of toothpaste on sink from prior occupants), the bathtub was in need of replacing - permanently stained, grody faucets, top surface of tub delaminating, mildewed caulking. Would not stay here again.

I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. From maintenence, to housekeeping to the front desk, they are all amazing. We travel with our dogs, and they are even greeted with a smile. We wont stay anywhere else while in Kingman.

Wasnt able to get my handicap parking this time which was a little difficult, but i had to manage. The tub need a good SCRUBBING!

The staff was friendly. Front desk helped us with a late check in and secured a bottom floor room for our old dog which was very helpful. The vending machines and laundry machines were clean and worked great. The restaurant next door could run room service over but, it was a neat spot to walk over to for breakfast or whatever we wanted. TV reception was weak with a half dozen channels available. Otherwise, it checked all of the boxes we needed for this trip: Clean, Dog Friendly, Economical, and En Route. Thanks for leavin’ the light on for us!

We got locked out of our room and ultimately literally had to kick in the door to get it. Toni at the front desk was great though - she did whar she could and the manager said she would refund our hotel stay for the hassle. Motel 6 is Motel 6 though so take it for what it is.
