I have never stayed in a TRU hotel. I brought my 85 year old mother on the trip. The room was beautiful. I had two issues. The first was parking. I may have missed it, but I didn't see anything on the website stating that there was a daily charge for parking. The other was minor... we had to go to the first floor to get ice-- First World Problem... Neither issue was is deal breaker when I look for hotel stays in the future. I will definitely consider staying at this hotel.

It was a very nice hotel. The bed was comfortable. The handicap accessible room was at the end of the hall and you had to walk a ways. Its hard on someone thats not able to walk long distances. Their easnt many handicap parking spaces either.

Then after leaving for dinner we arrived back at the hotel to discover there was a plumbing problem that affected water delivery to the entire hotel. We couldn’t flush the toilet or shower before going to bed. I called the desk and they said that it would be fixed in an hour. After 2 hours I called again and was told they were still working on the problem and if I wanted a refund I could check out. Now It’s 8:30 at night and we were leaving at 3:30 am so changing hotels was not a viable option. Needless to say I lost a lot of sleep over this and got no coffee in the morning. I will never stay at any other Hilton property as long as I live!!!! They made promises that went unfulfilled.

Nice place to stay if in the area.

We’ve stayed here several times on our trips to Florida. Great halfway stop from Missouri. And it gets us through Atlanta early before traffic. The hotel staff are really nice and professional yet casual. Super clean rooms, lobby and grounds. Plus a very good breakfast in the morning which saves time and money getting on the road again. Great value for the money compared to other hotels. This hotel has become our go to stop on the way to the sunshine state.

The stay was ok our room smelled like sewage when we first entered. And there were stains on the headboard. Lord only knows what it was. I was highly disappointed but luckily I travel with my Clorox wipes

First room we checked into was clean. We were surprised that there was no actual closet. there was an issue with the TV not connecting so they offered to move us to a different room on another floor, which was very nice of them, but that room had the same TV issue, but the maintenance man was able to fix that the next day but also no closet, just hanging hooks or something which is weird. but the night before we checked out, there was a very foul odor coming from the bathroom, like sewage smell. we did report it to the front desk and they said someone was gonna come up and check it while we are out however, if someone actually did, we’re not sure cause the smell was still there when we got back and also for three nights in a row the fire alarm would go off in the middle of the night around two or three in the morning with no explanation as to what was going on!

Two nights in row fire alarm at 4:00 AM almost got heart attack, not even water included , paid parking and beverages so expensive, that was my definitely first and last !

Not great. Check in staff were ok, although manager was not there so my check in was stressfull. Hotels.com said the hotel made the decisions regarding check-in. I had been driving 12 hours & maybe it was my mistake, but literally 5 mins after check In I discovered I was checked in the next week. After trying to remedy this I was told the manager would be there the next day. Haha. I checked in to a stained curtain & blah breakfast to be kind. Swimming was not an option, after hoping. After multiple emails, I was told by the hotel they would not allow any exceptions (even 1 minute) to the check in process. Several days go by by & no answer. This hotel was dissapointing in so many ways.

The only issue that we had was being woken at 6:00in the morning by the sound of boxes being thrown on the floor. We had a room next to the kitchen pantry. Well it was truck delivery day and so while we were sleeping the staff was unloading breakfast supplies outside in the hallway. Make sure you ask for a room that is not close to the kitchen.

My husband and I loved the property. The only thing we would like to see changed is a choice of turkey or chicken sausage because everyone doesn’t eat pork . Pork sausage was the only option for a breakfast meat . Otherwise I enjoyed my stay

Location Room was small and felt cheap. Mattress was ok but pillows were flat. I used all 5 for myself to get comfortable. Mattress didn't fit the frame. Desk was cheap. Bathroom fogged up easily. It did the job but nothing was nice.

The staff was great. The room had an odor like a backed-up sewer. The television had a box image on it. The service person came right away, had to take the television down from the wall, and fixed it. I was told it was a known issue with Netflix access.

Friendly staff, great location, nice room however you should not have to pay for parking! The way it is set up I feel like I was being scammed because parking expired before checkout so I was charged for another 24 hours when I was only actually going to use one or two hours

Great staff that made me feel like a welcomed guest. It was a very nice touch to see my name on the television on the room welcoming me. Another great touch was during checkout I was told, "We look forward to seeing you again".

Room was like a dorm room. TV did not work. I was in town for the SEC Championship football game & wanted to watch the end of the IU vs Ohio State game & post-game interviews...and couldn’t. Had to watch it on my phone. Called front desk shortly after check in to report it, they said they would send someone up and no one ever came. I had to report it again the next morning. Someone came up to finally fix the tv about an hour before I checked out. Housekeeping started knocking on my door at 10 a.m. for a Noon checkout. Just a generally terrible experience overall. Will never stay here again.

This was a great property. Convenient location, updated look, very clean, quiet, tile floors (less germy than carpet). The free coffee, tea, water, and lemonade in the lobby was a nice touch, as was the billiards table. The breakfast was wonderful. It was very clean and well stocked and didn't shut down super early like a lot of other hotel chains do. The gym looked nice. The room had plenty of space to move around and was a well thought out space that cut down on traditional cluttery furniture, but had plenty of hanging spaces and surfaces to put suitcases on. We enjoyed trying out the Calm App on the tv. The only recommendation I might have is to consider switching over this slightly thicker duvet covers in the winter.

Hotel stay was loud, heard noises all throughout the night. Attempted to call and locate a staff member in the lobby, nobody was found. Strands of hair was in the bathroom and I also seen stink bugs. This hotel is stunning and the exterior is gorgeous. There is a very large Mall in which there is everything from dining to shopping and more. Regarding the hotel, the guest services are great with outstanding customer service . My husband's and I opted for a standard two queen size bed room which to our amazement was about 400 ft and so large we could play basketball in it. There were 100% hardwood floors . The ambience was lacking in the room but we were only concerned about sleeping . The room was contemporary and very minimalistic . The bed was very comfortable with a pillow top mattress . The bathroom was very large with a handheld shower and plenty of hotel amenities for your hair and skin. Full breakfast with everything you could imagine from eggs and Waffles to oatmeal and everything in between . The gym was exceptional and very large, open until midnight. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a lot of space and quiet and a very beautiful atmosphere of comfort. The hotel has a very upbeat vibeskin..

A beautiful hotel. I did not give an overall excellent due to the paid parking requirement.

A beautiful hotel. I did not give an overall excellent due to the paid parking requirement.

This place was very laid back and very welcoming. The staff didn’t make you feel like you didn’t belong in the lobby area with your family. Staff were very attentive to our needs. We will definitely stay again.

I must have not realized or overlooked it, but you have to pay for parking. It was easy though, just scan a QR code , it's a quick enter of your information, then done. We only needed a day, so it was $5, but of course a $1 convenience fee. I really liked being able to create a Hilton account, where i could check in , check out, and use my phone as a key. All super easy. Didn't have to deal with anyone.

The area is within a 5 minute drive to a variety of restaurants. The only thing I wasn't a huge fan of was the parking. Expedia had listed it as free, but there is a daily fee. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay.

I Reserved a king bed room for my husband and I but we got a double queen bed room. I asked the front desk that I need to swap for King because that's what i reserved for, she said they were completely sold out of King bed. Looks to me like they gave our room away even though it was reserved and paid for. The customer service was poor.

I searched for dog friendly and booked but then after booking was told there was an extra fee that was not included. Also breakfast was supposed to be included but they didn’t even have coffee

Nice and very clean. Friendly staff. One warning. The hotel parking is fee parking which we were not aware of. $6 for one night. Not a huge deal but frustrating to find out once you’re already checked in. Didn’t get to eat at the breakfast bar but I assume it was pretty standard.

Everything was convenient.

Stay was great! The hot breakfast was a plus. Loved the ambiance of the lobby on New Year’s Eve. The only downside was the bar was not open and the heating component in my room made a whistling sound all night but overall it was a nice hotel stay. I would come back again

We loved our stay at Tru by Hilton and will definitely be back! Room was clean, beds were comfortable, big TV :), free breakfast was awesome and there were a lot of food options. Very close to the mall, so that was convenient as I have a 14-year-old daughter. Special shout out to Reggie at the front desk…he went above and beyond to make sure our stay was the best it could be. I have nothing bad to say about this place. 5 stars!!

The people checking us in and out were fantastic. Incredibly welcoming and friendly and helpful. The lobby was very clean as well as the hallway to our room. However our room was 8/10 clean. The bench cushion right when you enter was sticky and dirty and unusable. The shower area also wasn’t that clean.

Tru does a wonderful job at “beautifying” the hotel and at things “looking” clean and that’s essential! My biggest disappointment is that it definitely appeared to be a “pet hotel” and I despise the idea of lying in the same bed as a dog!!!! I asked if they at least designate certain rooms for people with pets and they were honest and said “no.” I don’t know if I’d rather have smoking be allowed or pets!

The property is well maintained and clean. The only disappointment was that our room hasn’t been cleaned in three days that we stayed there. The housekeeping didn't even bother to replace towels or empty the trash. We would leave early in the morning and come back late at night, so I really didn’t have time to address this issue with the front desk.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. I was with two teenage grandsons and they loved it, as well as the pool table in the lobby. The room and facility was very clean, which is a deal breaker for me. We will DEFINATELY come back!

We did a one-night stay to attend a football game at Kennesaw State University. Our check-in was fast and friendly. The front desk staff was professional and gave us all the details we needed for our stay! The hotel public spaces were super clean, as was our room! The bed was oh so comfy. The shower was fantastic! And itnwas less than 5 mins away from the KSU football stadium!

Great hotel is a nice area. Check-in was a breeze. Everything about the property was explained. Room was clean with modern facilities and bathroom. The shower was very clean. Beds are very comfortable along with the pillows. For a no thrills kind of hotel, this one in particular is kept in excellent condition and great amenities and I will definitely stay here again when I'm back in the area.
