They need to take care of their best customers. This includes daily cleaning, fresh towels. And it includes a much better breakfast. I’ve seen how good the breakfasts are in Scandinavian countries and here they are far inferior.

Breakfast was good. Hotel appeared clean. Appreciated the outdoor seating space Front desk person rarely looked up from their phone. This was the second stay and the first room was really nice, second room not so much. Tiles were cracked and I was worried about cutting my feet every time I walked on the floor. Every lamp shade was cracked and broken. Couch was frayed.

Staff was very nice and accomodating. The only downside to anything with the hotel was if you left room for any amount of time after like 2 hours the ac reset back to like 75. So room was hot when arriving and then when coming back after being gone.

The pictures were definitely not like how it really was.The towels were old and worn. Towels had strings hanging out from them because they were so worn, and outdated.Floors were in horrible condition(old and pilling).

We immediately went to the front desk, showed them the bug, and asked to be moved. They said there were no other rooms available. So at 12:30 AM, we started calling other hotels in the area. After about an hour and a half, the front desk clerk found a room for us (a guest had not shown up). He moved us and promised they would refund the Saturday night stay plus the $10 service fee as a goodwill gesture because of the bedbug. He said the manager would process it on Monday. Three days later, I followed up at the front desk before checkout. They assured me a note had been left for the manager. Two days after that, I called the hotel. A front desk supervisor rudely refused the refund. She was condescending and argumentative, claiming that because we had stayed in the other room, we no longer qualified for any refund. She showed zero empathy for the fact that we had found a bedbug literally the moment we arrived after an exhausting drive. This experience is completely unacceptable. Discovering a bedbug upon arrival is bad enough — being lied to about a refund and then treated so poorly made it much worse. We will be disputing the charge with our credit card and reporting this to La Quinta corporate.

The room had not been thoroughly cleaned (used undies in bathroom cubby, clothes in the room safe) but otherwise things were fine.

This was possibly a nice hotel years ago. Today it needs a lot of TLC. The toilet was not bolted to the toilet flange (it rocked). The floor tile has about half of the grout missing. The tub has a ding/hole in it. The pillows need replacing. The air conditioner sounds like a freight train. We left about 4:30 am and could not find anyone at the desk. The walls are paper thin and flexible . The hotel is very difficult to find. The only sign we saw was on the building and that was inside the compound and not facing the road. Overall a BAD experience.

We took our dog for a quick walk after checking in and when we returned to the room couldn’t find our cat! Literally turned the room upside down looking for him. Went out in the corridor in case he had somehow followed us out. Getting panicked so went to the front desk and the kind man told us he knew where he was hiding in the bathroom - even though we had checked! He came to the room with us and told us to check behind the towel cubby, a very small gap and sure enough he was there!! So grateful for his help. He said it happens a lot - it might be a good idea to block these gaps for pet rooms or give visitors a heads up if traveling with cats!!

The property and parking lot was well lit. There was a funny smell as soon as you entered the doors, but then the main lobby reaked of the front desk attendant's cologne, unfortunately. Thankfully it was just there. The room however, was thankfully clean and had no smells; it was warm but the A/C cooled the room quickly. The breakfast was decent and the beds were very nice, also. There were adequate towels and everything seemed clean and in place, but there was one random dirty, dried washcloth hanging on the shower rod so I just put it on the floor to be collected with other dirty towels after our stay. There wasn't a bathtub stopper to take a bath, but the front desk attendant explained that those are kept at the front because guests randomly steal them and so they have to be requested. I however didn't want to go to the desk at that time so we just used the shower instead. But overall, the room and the stay was nice. I would definitely stay again.

Recently had a brief stay at this location, and I'd highly recommend. It was spotless and smelled great despite accommodating pets. The hotel is located in a prime location for multiple dining options as well. And should you have a family there's a bowling alley within walking distance. Definitely would stay again

It was the detail to attention that was missing It seems like this place is working on renovations. Our room did not have the in shower bottles of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel installed. We had to ask for the small bottles at the front desk since nothing was left in the bathroom. The swimming pool had lots of leaves floating. It looked like our room had several water leaks in the ceiling.

We stopped just to sleep during a road trip. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfortable.

Property is very clean and the breakfast is very good. Sausage, eggs, waffles, pancakes as well as fruit, muffins, and yogurt to choose from.

Quick overnight stay, very comfortable beds.

Property was clean but pillows were large and hard. Had difficulty sleeping and woke up with a neck ache and headache. Pillow had the slight scent of dog. Was on the second floor and could hear walking from the room above.

Two night stay came well presented for the guests

The staff is great, the room was clean, breakfast was good (loved the biscuits and gravy). Parking made me a little nervous with all the parking at your own risk type signs….. The only thing that keeps me from giving an excellent rating overall is the parking and how difficult the hotel is to find. The finding may not really be their fault as the location although somewhat hidden in in the center of a lot of construction.

I found the room to be clean and parking didn't concern me at all. Plenty of lighting. I had an extremely hard time understanding the first gentleman who checked me in. His accent was a problem for me. I could not get any live channels on the TV so I could not watch regular channels. I called the front desk. This was a different gentleman. He said he would come up and check but I had showered and was ready to chill. I told him to forget it, but he did offer.

The hotel was fine— not good or great, but fine. It’s in a convenient area, there’s plenty of parking, lots to do nearby. But the hotel is in desperate need of a refresh. Tiles are loose in the room and elevator landings, chipped paint, dated and stained carpet, etc. The room itself (outside of the tile) was comfortable, had a decent bed, quiet. Breakfast was your basic hotel breakfast- nothing amazing, nothing bad.

The Bathroom was not very clean. There was only one coffee pod in room for two guests.

On a positive note, the breakfast was good, the staff were kind and the other guests were friendly. We loved meeting others and their pets. It was also a very easy check in and check out process. Parking is good and wifi works well.

Hallways smelled and were dirty. room smelled like vomit and the bathroom has hair in the shower and sink. Ice container has all kinds of crusty yuck in it that smelled like vomit. Hallways had an I insense type smell that made me sneeze a lot. Carpet was unclean- bed seems ok and looked like clean sheets. Lots of noise in the night around us.

The room we booked was an executive king with a pull out. The pullout was TRASHED from animals and my son (who only has a slight allergy to cats) started sneezing almost immediately when we got into the room. We pulled out the hideaway which had cat toys and trash underneath - I went to the front desk to get linens for the pull out and he said "we don't carry them". They had NO sheets or pillows for the pull out couch? There's no way we could sleep 5 people in a king bed and I can't allow my twins on the pullout without coverage and just a plastic liner. After some time he agreed to move us to a room with two full beds. I slept on the floor so my family could sleep in the beds and we paid for the executive room! The staff was less than helpful and remained on a personal call on speaker phone the entire time I was trying to resolve. The room and bathroom were both dirty and in desperate need of an update. As you can see in the pictures, the towel/washcloth had small black hairs embedded. Disgusting! It's been quite some time since I have stayed in a hotel this bad and I travel quite often. I am very unhappy and won't be staying at La Quinta in the future.

Sofa was exytemely frayed, dirty and cushions were flat (needs to be replaced). The glaze on tub is peeling off. Floors needed to be swept. There were about 40 pairs of shoes laying in one of the hallways, very odd. On the positive side...desk agents were extremely personable and friendly. Would not stay here again

The hotel is convenient to highway. The bed was descent however the sofa was ripped and in poor shape and the bathroom vent was dirty and needed a good cleaning. The guy working front desk overnight and making breakfast was sick and coughing and blowing his nose all over while setting up breakfast. Needless to say we didn't eat breakfast there that morning.

One of my beds was very squeaky and hard, my daughter had a stiff neck and sore back. It did smell good upon arrival entering the hotel. It was an ok stay. More for like a 1 or 2 daysl stay nothing longer.

Our room was clean, but the rooms and hallways need updating like the breakfast area has been done!! Someone got stuck in one elevator and the fire department was called to get them out while we were there. Maybe a thorough check of elevator mechanics!! The outside in back is very dirty. Lots of trash by the parking area. Also, the breakfast could have more fruit and healthy breads and cereal choices.

Hotel management definitely needs to replace cracked tiles by the elevators. The grout in the bathroom floor of my room was gone to the point where you could feel the gaps between the tiles. Trash was overflowing in the trashcans on the third floor in the hallway and by the elevator for two days even though there were housekeeping staff cleaning the rooms.

The room was clean, the front desk night staff was very helpful in finding my misplaced wallet.

At about 5:30 AM, there was a dog barking at the hallway. At around 5:50 AM, I heard a dog barking from another bedroom. I was sleeping in my room at both times.

Room was not very clean- Found a large piece of a bone with dog hair on it. Could've been a choking hazard for my dog. Off-duty staff and small children were very loud in the rooms across the hall from me. I had to call the front desk at 9 pm to ask them to be quiet. My room smelled like mildew. I cancelled my return stay at this hotel.

First room we were given smelled like animals and the second one- the only one left- smelled like smoke! Other than that, bed was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good.

My room was clean and comfortable. The young man that checked me in was friendly and helpful.

The sheets on the bed very thin need to be replaced or two different. They were worn. But they were clean.

Arrived for a women summit and my stay was absolutely horrible. This stay has caused me not to ever stay at a LaQuinta hotel. My room had a terrible stale smell from the air conditioner. My sheets were not clean they had hair left on them (i requested new sheets to change my own bed). The room had mole in it. The mattress was horrible and beat me up. I would never ever stay at this location again..

I had stayed at this location several years ago and decided it was worth another try. Traveling with a dog and I appreciate that they are pet friendly. However, there was a terrible stain on the ceiling near the window and I wasn’t sure if it had mold, but I could see black dots on it. Also, I could not get the toilet to flush. It took several attempts. I did not bother using the shower as it was only a one night stay and I had seen enough. Will not stay at this location again.

The check in was quick and efficient. The first room we went in smelled of smoke so we were moved to another room that smelled much better. It appeared the sheets had not been changed as we found multiple hairs in the bed. The room was not cleaned to the quality we are used to at La Quinta Inns. Lastly, there was a large party in the back talking and singing until 10 at night making it hard to sleep. Even though the hotel was in a good location and the rate was good, I would not stay here again.

The tub was clogged but they were able to fix it by the time we came back. If you just need a place to sleep in…. It’s a good place with their price range.

The room was your average room nothing worth a total of $258. The bathroom floor was dirty, and the tub had hair on it. The a.c. was loud and woke me up each time it came on. The lobby was clean. The person at the desk was pleasant and friendly. Pizza delivery was quick and good.

Smells like dogs and urine in all the rooms . Super friendly small family runs this motel. Older lady is cleaning rooms best she can, brother’s running front desk … smells bad in hotel . Read the other reviews they aren’t lying .

1. There was a musty smell to the room. 2. The air conditioner never got our room to the set temperature impacting the quality of sleep. 3. The bathtub had a sloped edge and is raised such that when taking a shower, there is risk of slipping and falling (which I nearly did) 4. The lighting in the bathroom was poor with only the mirror frame light making it difficult to see in the shower and to shave. 5. One of the towel bars was missing an end connector such that the rod with the towels hanging on them was hanging down making it awkward to get the towels off. For the rate that we paid for the night, I expected better quality.

Room had mold. You could smell it in air conditioner and vents. Hotel old and not taken care of. Walls had a lot of damage just spackled over. Shower walls damaged. A lot of damage all over. Very run down. We left sick. Two hundreds dollars a night what a waste. Regretted our choice from the moment we checked in. Breakfast food cold eggs and sausage not even to temp where it felt safe to eat them.

Hotel staff was very pleasant. Room was clean and location was convenient for our needs.

The area is under construction. The rooms were not ready when we arrived at 4:30 pm. We had to wait 30 minutes in the lobby . The floor in the bathroom and hall area was sticky and my bare feet turned black. Had to wear shoes to keep my feet clean. Breakfast at 8 am. Coffee was empty, sour milk for the cereal (which was thrown out) pancake machine batter was empty. Had to tell the staff at the desk. The hotel was quiet . Good for sleeping

They need to clean better

Have stayed at this hotel once before and from the first experience of staying at this hotel made me love laquinta hotels even more and what made me want to stay at this location for a second time!

It was a poor start with a unclean room with ants, I initially and quickly posted a poor review. Management addressed my concerns quickly, gave us a new room that was spotless. Full hotel but quiet, breakfast area very clean with a sweet attendant and pretty good breakfast options.

The staff were very nice and helpful.

Just the bathroom could have been cleaned around bottom toilet. Relaxed though.

The nearby road is under construction for the foreseeable future and there was a weird smell by my room's entrance which seemed kinda muggy/mildewy, but everything else was good and was in walking distance from a big entertainment center which was nice.

Was a great stay. Pool was nice staff was amazing and breakfast was good with alot of choices. Our room was cozy and clean.

Under the bed utensils, old food, so so much hair and dust and bugs. In the washroom the tub had hair in it but you could tell it had been wiped down but it looked like no one had cleaned the shower surround in quite some time. Lots of soap scum on bathroom counter. The couch in the room we didn’t even sit on or put our things on, it was so deeply soiled with grime and ripped and torn by a cat. The judgement of the manager to keep this couch in a room is shocking. Should go straight to the dump. The floors were tile at the door and bath, which had not been mopped, the carpet seemed like it had been vacuumed but had what looked and smelled like anima fecis stained in several places. We arrive late after 14 hrs of driving on the road - I went down right away to complain and was not offered an alternative room. Only to find out this morning a room was available but would have been 2 beds instead of 1. But no one thought to offer this?!?!

The shower was not clean properly. During my stay there were no room service for towels, trash pickup or anything.

It was not clean, rooms need a lot of repairs, overall my daughter and I did not feel comfortable or safe so we left, and went to another hotel.

COMFORTABLE BEDS

We stay at La Quintas all the time and never have an issue but this location was just awful. Our first room that we were given was located in a hallway that was completely filled with cigarette smoke. When I asked for a new room because the smell was so bad the guy at the front desk gave me a new room that was right next to our original room. This didn’t help at all so I asked for another room on the other side of the hotel and he was finally able to reassign us. I understand you can’t control if people smoke in their rooms but this was so bad the entire west wing of the hotel wreaked of cigarettes. Then to top it off, we were abruptly woken up around 7:30AM to some pound banging that lasted for an hour. It sounded like someone was smashing pans together, it was overall a ridiculous hotel experience and won’t be back.

Quick stop on our way home from a trip to VA. Very economical and clean. Breakfast was hot and good. We would stay there again.

The front desk staff went above and beyond when our two cats disappeared. They took the bed apart and found the cats in the base. The cats were being quiet and we would have never found them, otherwise.

This is my second stay here. My family came in town for 3 days and this please is clean and staff is super friendly. Looks to be family own. Very accommodating, anything that we requested they were able to make it happen. I will be back.

Staff was friendly enough. Hotel seemed a little dingy, carpets didn’t look clean, handle to the second floor access from the stairs was broke and breakfast was mediocre. Coffee was burnt and potatoes were dried out and crunchy

My room appeared to be clean. Lampshades were torn. Carpeting in halls needs cleaning in a big way. The whole hotel could use refreshing and updating. A couple of pillowcases had tears in them. There wasn’t any choice in fruit at the breakfast bar - only apples.

Ran by nice people, but they need to work on cleanliness in the rooms. Maid service is only done by request.

The hotel was clean. Rooms need updating......floor grout in bathroom patch work is terrible. The top bedding had stains on it. Both beds creeked and pillows were awful. Smelled musty in room. TV didn't work correctly. The Lobby and eating area were very nice. Breakfast was ok. The food was just warm. Fresh fruit would have been nice. Coffee was good and very grateful they had Decaf! Very friendly front desk.

The hotel was conviently located. Close to the highway and many dining options.
