The hotel and room were fine for a one night stop. The bathroom had a few hairs in the bathtub - the only real complaint regarding the room. The breakfast was not exciting - we always look forward to the signature cinnamon rolls at Holiday Inn Express, and they did not have them. Nor did they have oatmeal, a waffle machine, muffins, toaster area, etc. The breakfast area seemed really bare.

Room was clean but rather small. If you are claustrophobic do not get a corner room.

The glass doors on the shower wouldn't stay closed. So while you were showering you had to hold one hand on the door so it wouldn't slide open and get the floor all wet.

This was a quick, one stay passing through on the way home from vacation. It was our first stay and we will make this our go to stop when we need to stay in this area. Great location, comfortable beds, nice shower and very good breakfast. We will be back.

The staff friendly and helpful. Front desk Marjorie greeted us with a friendly hello and a smile. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Full breakfast bar was a treat, coffee was hot and delicious! Friendly staff in the dining room made sure we had everything we needed. Definitely will be returning next year when we travel through again.

I had a corner room which was SO quiet. The staff were so sweet and kind. I was in town due to my sister being in a terrible car accident. She was on the trauma floor at Kennestone and I would stay with her all day. I had to extend my stay and the staff graciously helped me with that, keeping me in the same room. I will use this hotel again.

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in the past and this time did not disappoint. The room was clean and had the amenities i needed. Nova and NeNe level of customer service was exemplary.

Wife fell in a freshly mopped elevator with no wet floor sign management handled it terribly only checked in on us later to make sure we didn’t sue they asked how she was I said bruised and very sore, their response was “ glad she’s ok “ I guess I expected a free room at the least not trying to get free things but the gesture at least would be nice. The cleaning lady literally laughed when we told her what happened but I believe that was only because she didn’t speak English and it was a natural response the man cleaning the lobby when we did get off the elevator at the bottom just wanted to assure us he was dry mopping. Want to say my wife is not elderly not obese and was wearing tennis shoes at the time.

The stay was impressive considering it had mixed reviews. I loved the location it was superb near all your restaurants and shopping. Checking in was easy no hassle considering booked through a third party. The two ladies that were over breakfast was phenomenal. Thank you for the hospitality. Housekeeping was good. Staff were very friendly from check in to check out! Only thing I didn’t like was the elevator it was slooooow! Overall a fantastic stay!

We stayed for 7 nights, the whole time we were there, one of the 2 elevators were broken (we were on the 6th floor) the rooms are small and our air conditioner unit leaked water in the floor the whole time leaving our carpet soggy and room feeling damp.

The staff were all nice The hotel is under renovation which wasn’t noted anywhere. Due to this (renovation inside and out) it was VERY noisy at all times. Due to them beating on walls on the other side of our room I was unable to ever get my baby to sleep. There was 0 hot water in the hotel, which I did go to the front desk about but never heard a resolution. After 10 minutes of trying to let the water heat up, it was still ice cold, 15 minutes later you would get Luke warm water at best. The rooms smelled horrible of body odor as did the beds. The beds smelled so bad in fact in the morning you woke up smelling like someone else’s body odor. They also needed a good cleaning overall. Hair and crumbs all over the floor. The ac in the room was VERY noisy all night and due to the property’s location it sounded like you were sleeping in a train station. The pool also was closed which wasn’t noted. Thankfully I was able to get a refund for the nights not stayed and we moved to a different hotel.

Accessibility It was under construction they were remodeling the lobby area upon our arrival and at departure the elevator was inoperable. Me and my elderly mother had to walk down 5 flights of stairs. Our room had a water leak by the sink too.

Good location for our needs in Kennesaw town center, check in was easy, nice staff, and the breakfast was very good, with Costa Coffee being a welcome surprise! Beds were very very soft and one bed frame was very creaky. Rest of the room was fine and appears to have been recently redecorated, so hopefully the beds are next for updating.

Our stay was a step up from camping and fairly decent. The staff were helpful and prompt. They had plenty to choose from for breakfast which was nice for our group. The bed mattresses were too soft, and the TV had lines in the picture, but had a decent amount of channels to choose from; the paint (for renovation purposes) left a strong unpleasant smell; the one elevator was very slow. All in all, it was mediocre accommodations and not the worst I’ve experienced.

Hallways, showers and elevator lobbies were not maintained to other IHG property standards. The front desk staff were not familiar with the IHG loyalty program to add our member number at check in. Other than the main lobby area by the hotel entrance, the other common areas were void of accessories, furniture, or pictures. I would not recommend this hotel when there are other options within walking distance.

The breakfast was very bare with hardly any items on it, ran out of cinnamon rolls by 7 am, the pancake machine was not working, there was no fruit in the empty fruit bowls. The staff didn’t care much about their guests. I would not recommend this hotel.

Road noise was horrible with VERY loud racing motor sounds until 1:00 am…I called front desk and they offered no help with this … we just toughed it out. Elevator was rough …mattress lumpy. Had to call maintenance because sink was almost completely stopped up. They did fix it …Sorry for bad review ..this place used to be great !! Not sure why Holiday Inn has let this location get in this shape.

The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. The only thing that bothered me was the automatic night light in the outlet by the sink. I need total darkness when I sleep.

We stayed for 4 nights and our room was never fully cleaned. The trash was never emptied the entire time we were there. One time, the beds were made and if we wanted new towels, we had to ask for them. The front desk people did not seem to be able to answer our questions, and in fact, one guy even told us he "doesn't really work here" (even though he was behind the front counter). I was expecting the pool to be open, which is part of the reason I booked the hotel, but the gate was locked. When we asked, no one could tell us whether the pool could be accessed or not. Also, it took 2 days for someone to come and open the safe that was locked by the customers who had our room prior to us. The one positive thing I can say is that the bed was comfortable. Overall, our visit was below average and I would not recommend staying here. Next time, for a little more money, we'll choose a higher quality hotel in the area. I hope this is helpful feedback.

If you’re looking for a no frill stay this is it! Location was awesome! Building was good. This is our second stay and both times one of two elevators was down and the ice machine on my floor was down. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Staff was pleasant!

Needed a quick place to stay in Kennesaw. This hotel is starting to really show its age. Lots of cracks in walls and ceilings. The bathtub was flaking off the coating. The cleaning of the room was not good as well, hair on the floor and back of the door from the previous guest. I would not recommend staying here unless it’s a last resort.

Phone did not work. Realized this at 3am when someone was trying to get in my room. Car going off at 4am. Guy literally breaking into a vehicle. Several people called the cops. Front desk said he locked his key in the car… Really? Why is this happening at 4am. Guy had dark clothes. Hoodie on his head, had a metal bar.

Bathroom needs to be updated. A lot of people sitting around in there vehicles. Make you feel unsafe. Have not received my deposit back.

The room was clean, but worn with patched ceiling, torn shower curtain, stained towels, and uncooperative AC. Post-pandemic, I know many hotels don’t provide daily maid service unless requested, but I’m also used to seeing signs for such. Not the case here. Second day, no extra pillows, so I requested that evening again and was told they don’t keep extra pillows at all. Given the number of other hotels in the immediate area in the same price range, I’ll stay elsewhere next time.

This was an awful experience. Bed had stains all over it. Towels were stained shower was disgusting.

I stayed at this place in June and only one elevator was working. I went back at the end of July and the same elevator isn't working. Both trips the entire place is 97 degrees in the hallway, elevator, and lobby. The temp in the room was fine and adjustable but miserable outside of the room. The staff isn't the friendliest but isn't rude, just robotic. I had to wait on someone to help me for 6 minutes when I first got there because they were doing something else. At checkout, they requested we put all used towels and wash cloths in the hallway? Just not what you would expect at a Holiday Inn Express.

The carpet in my room was very dirty. There was spots everywhere during quiet time there was a lot of running in the hallways and loud noises and talking in the hallways during quiet time. The front desk was contacted, and they informed me that they did see the people on the cameras and they went to the person’s room to confront them to let them know that this is quiet time, but the noise continued from 11:30 PM till about 2 AM. I had to go to a different floor to get ice in the middle of the night. The food was horrible. There was no type seasoning and the food was lukewarm. The food service were not welcoming when you walk into the dining area. My overall experience will be a zero out of 10. I will not be back to the hotel nor any other Holiday Inn express.

Unfortunately, after arriving at the property I was informed by the front desk clerk that no rooms were available due to housekeeping being short staffed . Three other people were also turned away due to dirty rooms . He also assured me that I wouldn’t be charged even though the room was prepaid .

The Hotel is overall clean, and you have daily room service as some hotels still do not offer daily cleaning. Staff is friendly and nice as well.

Check in was slow, but not necessarily the fault of the staff, there was a large work crew checking in. Again, no issue with that either…except that the work crew came in multiple vehicles…which all parked under the entrance…in the rain…blocking all other check in parties, including an elderly couple with a wheelchair. When situations like this arise, it would be great if the staff stepped up and indicated that it would be helpful for the construction crew to remove their vehicles and personnel from the area so that others can come in.

The property was filthy Elevator disgusting. Floors dirty in the room. Was put in room by stairwell with a hotel filled with teenagers. Slammed in and out of stairwell all night . Someone screaming and pounding on door down the hall at 4:40 am. And no bravo tv. Will never go back to this location

It was just ok. Many things were “out-of-order” including 1 of 2 elevators, 1 of 2 washing machines, and our ice machine. The TV in our room was antiquated. The room was clean though and it was quiet at night.

I am usually a big fan of Holiday Inn Express but this property was terrible. From what I hear, one of the elevators has been down for over a year. Hotel was not clean and common areas were very hot!

I managed to stay one evening out of two. The second evening I went to the hotel I usually stay at. It was worth losing $. This place isn't happening.

Hotel was great, but the breakfast was like most hotels and easly a skip. They do allow motorcycles to be parked in the entryway for better support and cover.

Nice and cozy place to stay

Property was older but nicely done. One elevator didn’t work. Some of the stuff in the gym didn’t work. Housekeeping was good. Snack room was well done and reasonable for a hotel.

The staff were great

The man and the lady at the front desk tried to tell me they were $30 more per night than what I paid. Refused then told me they were completely booked only to have another reservation online. Then he places us in the corner room by the stairs. We couldn’t sleep at all from the stairs and the loud closing of the door. We saw 4 baby roaches in our bathroom and the shower would not get hot at all and tub wouldn’t plug. Terrible to be such a pretty hotel

This hotel is an absolute embarrassment to IHG & Holiday Inn in general. There were little roaches in my room. Originally, the staff was kind enough to put us in a new room. However instead of checking the room they just stuck someone else in there BEFORE having pest control come. Upon trying to find a lost item from the “bug room” we were told we could leave or have the cops called if we contacted the new occupants of the “bug room” because it’s “against hotel policy to interact with other guests”. This location has refused to acknowledge concerns & complaints from other guests during our stay as well. We were all shocked & disappointed. One elevator was out of service while the other one’s rear door opened to the basement/laundry while the main door closes you in. This is extremely dangerous & just creepy overall. After being threatened with law enforcement, for what I’m assuming was the staff’s way of stopping us from telling the new room occupants about the bugs, we did not feel comfortable staying at this hotel. So just a word to the wise…if you’re planning to stay at this hotel, reconsider. It’s not worth the headache. If you do decide to stay make sure you bring your camera. They expect you to stay & have a photo shoot with the bugs as they crawl across the wall & ceiling. I, of course, gathered my things as quickly as possible & headed to the lobby. I guess instead of checking for bugs they just made the bed & put another guest in the room. Disgusting & deplorable.

Someone had a key to our room and tried to come in as we were going to sleep. Thankfully the door lock caught and they weren’t able to get in. The front desk just blew it off like it was no big deal!

Older. Many things out of order. Elevator, fitness equipment, fixtures coming off the wall in bathroom. The plus was a good breakfast.

The beds were so comfortable and the staff was very kind!

Nice enough hotel but finding it was a little difficult as it was tucked in the back of the restaurants

Had a problem ironing my clothes as it was not clean. They need to improve on that.

The fan in the room is loud and ran all night. The one bed was broken.

Thermostat didn’t even power on in our room. Very loud during the night. Smushed poop or chocolate in the lobby when we were leaving. One very slow elevator for all 6 floors. It’s worth what I paid but not anything more. Convenient off the highway for a commute.
