Our room smelled like a basement and there was in fact mold in the bathroom. Toilet had hair and pee stain. It was so dusty and dirty. Never again, please learn from my lesson and listen to the reviews. Other than that, staff was nice.

Really rude and condescending manager/owner . Minor issue with card reader led to 15-20 min debate on whether my card was the issue or not. Was told to go to ATM for $50 in cash for incidentals or get out of the line so other customers could be helped. In the end i had to resolve the issue with the card reader myself because the manager apparently didn’t know how to use it, no apology or anything. No one to make a formal complaint to either.

Hotel really need new mattress

It was a restful night's sleep for just passing through. There were lots of ceiling issues with water damage, drooped tiles. We skipped the shower because it didn't look clean. Paint was chipped off the walls. It looked like black mold was on the walls as well. The toilets were super low; not ideal for elderly with joint issues. Breakfast was hot/cold. The biscuits had to be split apart and toasted because they were soggy from the steam. Sausage needed cooked more. Eggs were not good. The waffle maker worked fine. It was very humid/warm in the breakfast area and it had an odd smell in the lobby/breakfast area. Staff was friendly.

Other staff smoked/vaped at the front door to hotel. Marijuana smell at front door could have been from patrons. Breakfast sausage was not browned; looked as though it was cooked by boiling and/or microwave. Eggs tasted fake but marginally passible except for the fake plastic-tasting american cheese slice folded into them. Hallway floors were dirty. Baseboards chipped and dirty. Windows at end of hallway have chalky white build up obscuring view. View from room was of broken fence and gate and neglected landscaping around sidewalk. Bathroom towels were aging and thin. No stopper in the sink. No stopper in the tub. Long black hairs all over the bathroom. Soap bottle not kept full - ran out of soap. Water pressure in shower was poor. Air conditioning did not work; would not dehumidify room. Room constantly felt damp/moist. Dampness on fake wood flooring made it slippery. A/C did not cool room. Phone and lamps were unclean and grimy. And to top it off the room stunk - absolutely stunk. Smelled strongly of urine.

My phone fell behind the bed and was I discussed with what I seen after I pull the bed out. Could stand a deep cleaning. Towels and face cloth were dingy I made a trip to the store and purchased my own. The last night.before checking out we had a visit from a rodent(mice) that scared my grand so bad she was ready to pack and leave. Not sure i would recommend staying again until things are up to par. Just saying

Called the day of my stay to announce a late arrival r/t airlines delays, the receptionist asked for my information and stated it was noted and would be fine. Thirty minutes later, she canceled my reservation and charged my cc. Later to find out it was the manager..smh! Be careful when booking with them!!!

I booked with you for a.handicap room!!!! The two handicap rooms toilets did not work .Yes they put us on a suite but I had to use the publix hall bathroom that was handicapped. I had to wake my husband up in the middle of the night to help me when I needed the bathroom.I thought they would have switched us to the handicap room when the toilets were fixed. I never told the front desk that it was.fine I had to use the hall bathroom!!! Hotel .com represent this teri le hotel!!!!!

The lady behind the desk was probably the worst receptionist I’ve ever encountered. She couldn’t figure out how to pull up a booking.com reservation. When trying to convey all the reservation information to her she was snippy and unwilling to be courteous throughout the whole process. The feeling I got was this job is beneath her kind of vibe and she really didn’t wanna be doing it. At the end we had requested a roll away bed. She snapped back there was no bed… I started to pull up the information to show he then she decided to look at the reservation and found out it was there. Her response was when do you want it. Being it was almost 9pm and it was for a child I said now we would like to go to bed. She said OK we’ll bring it in a minute. A minute turned into three hours.. We gave up after checking 3 times and the two kids shared a bed. At 11:54 we got a call waking us up stating the bed was delivered outside of our room. That’s the door and stated it was too late, The kids have gone to sleep hours ago. I also I noticed at that time our bathroom smelled like marijuana so bad I blocked it off with a towel. That’s just the customer service side. When we got to the room it didn’t smell pleasant at all. Kind of a mildew, dirt, marijuana smell. The room was dingy. A lot of holes and unfinished hole repairs. The bathroom was barely holding together. The curtain rod was falling out of the wall for what looks like the second time. The hairdryer was falling apart and was non-operable. The sink faucet leaked onto the counter when you turned it on. The toilet seat was disgusting. It looked like someone did a terrible job painting it. We woke up in the morning and got out of there as fast as we could.

Property was dated with a poor attempt to cover up. Linens were clean and room was ok but towels looked yellow and stained. You could tell they had been run through the cleaner but they were gross looking and should have been replaced long ago.

My room was at the top of the stairs & I could hardly hear anyone. The room was very spacious and clean. I wasn't told if there was free internet, & just used my phone hotspot. The staff was very pleasant, helpful, & courteous. The microwave wasn't working & there wasn't another to replace it, so I had to use the one in the kitchen, which really wasn't a big deal. I understand the hotel not having an elevator with just two floors, but imagine having lots of luggage & the "trips" to get it all to the room going up stairs.

Exceeded expectations. This was my first stay at a Baymont property and I found it to be a great value for the money. The woman at the desk was wonderful and she put toward the end of the near a direct exit to the parking lot (I didn’t ask but that is my preferred location when staying at hotels). Will stay again.

The price was decent and location was OK. Front desk clerk was nice. There was no elevator for the second floor. The mirror in the bathroom was about to fall out of the frame because the frame was broken. The tub faucet leaked. Toilet seat was broken/loose. All of the metal fixtures in the bathroom were rusted. One of the outlets looked fried. The room was dimly lit even with all of the lamps on. The pillows were pitiful at best. The AC made a distracting noise the entire time.

Great location in regards to proximity to Kennesaw State University and the football stadium. Definitely an older hotel. Please note there is no elevator. Just a staircase to take you to your room.

Everything seemed a little bit shabby. Floors mismatched, scuffed walls, towels were small and scratchy. Only one desk chair, no comfy seat. The bed was remade by housekeeping and towels replaced but floor not swept or vacuumed. AC worked great so that was awesome!

First room was not suitable on top of water heater issues. Then front desk was rude towards my guests and literally finding anything to make a issue out of but once she realizes that I'm not a child or going for it the rest of the night was smooth!

The toilet wasn't anchored on one side so it leaked, the tub has a water leak and the floor was dirty (ceramic tile) I requested the room ne serviced and floor mopped. Maid came in and changed the towels and took i trash. Nothing else was done.

The rest of the room was clean and functional. It’s definitely an older hotel and there’s lots of fresh paint. The room door was sagging and I had to pick it up to lock it. The door also didn’t like to latch all the way. There’s room for improvement, the ceiling in the bathroom is office ceiling tiles and with the moisture the tiles are sagging. But…the property was quiet, clean and the staff was friendly. They even offer other toiletries if you forgot one.

We encountered 3 staff members in two days, a particular lady at front counter was very unpleasant. She seemed to be bothered easily. Not the treatment you will expect from someone in hospitality business, rolling her eyes as I asked questions. I continue to conduct my business without acknowledging her rudeness. Had to encounter her in three occasions. She could probably benefit from a customer service course. The walls in the room were dirty and so was the rug throughout the hotel. Refrigerator was very dirty on the inside, we spend two nights, will not return above all based on customer service.

Manager on duty stated we couldn’t get a refund until morning because he wasn’t the head manager. In the morning Expedia called to take care of it and the manager lied and stated we were staying at the hotel. Expedia made this right with us however, the actual hotel did nothing.

The hotel itself could use a facelift. The bathroom was outdated, stained, and not that clean. They also do not have an elevator so if you have a lot of luggage make sure you are on the first floor. I will say that when we arrived late at night for our check in the staff working the front desk was very friendly and super helpful. He was the best part of our stay

I will say that when we arrived late at night for our check in the staff working the front desk was very friendly and super helpful. He was the best part of our stay

This property is nasty. The outside pool was pitch dark, keys didn’t work, no plug for bath tub, room stunk, patches on walls and most importantly, we had to check out within the hour when my daughter found BED BUGS and killed one

Hotel room needs updating. Cracked bathroom mirror, yellow stains on walls, dust coming from the air conditioning unit, and air conditioner was very, very loud.

The toilet shifted from left to right which is hazard in more than way. The third option they gave me the room had no hot water. There is no elevator on this property. The repairs done on this property are questionable. They’re cutting corners. The staff was mad at me and canceled the reservation without being asked to do so. I pointed out the deficiencies and they told me to leave.

Close to KSU and all major roads! Very friendly staff. The room smelled like mold and the bathroom definitely needs some updating. Bathtub didn’t have a plug.

It’s recently been renovated (partially) and is attractive and comfortable. The staff was so nice and the property is conveniently located. It’s nicer than anything nearby in the price range

The people were great but the rooms are very dated and worn. Tv signal went out but I needed to sleep so was not an issue but for someone else it may be. No hot breakfast foods.

Room was hot and musty, seemed like someone sprayed a whole can of airfreshener to try and cover up the smell. Floors were filthy, walls were cracked, chunks of paint missing, scratches along the walls, looked like the microwave plug in the room (#115) had caught on fire, black smoke stains on the wall coming from the outlet. Breakfast was awful, just go to the gas station and find better. I tried to just have a bowl of cereal and the milk came out of the dispenser in chunks... $161 per night. I chose this place over other hotels because it had a better rating, I definitely won't be staying here again.

We had a nice stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The Hotel is walking distance from Kennesaw University and near places to eat. 🙂

Check in process was terrible. I was charged twice. I tried to explain it prepaid for the room. She insisted that I didn’t. I even had the receipt that showed paid and she didn’t believe it.took three days to get my money back. Value for the money was good.Overall, the stay was good. The location is great.

Staff was friendly but the property could use a good deep cleaning and update. Stained caulking around the toilet and particles and dust on the floor. It was not horrible but not what I’ve come to expect from Baymont. Took me back to college days when you just needed a place to sleep. It was inexpensive and a place to lay my head.

I enjoyed my short stay at this hotel, however I had 3 complaints. There is no elevator, the microwave was dirty and the toilet seat was dirty, otherwise I enjoyed my stay and the breakfast.

The pool was dirty very noisy hallways. The rolling desk chair caused my husband to fall and injure is elbow and back of his head. Blood everywhere! Definitely a fall hazard! When the second half of our party went down for breakfast, the eggs were still frozen! Not just ice cold. But were frozen solid! So hard you could tap them on the table!!

The hotel has stairs, not elevators. The air conditioner made all kinds of strange noise all night long. There was an odd smell in the hotel. I won’t be staying here again.

There was a worm on my comforter. Bad stains on sheets. Im pretty sure it was bed bugs. When we told the front desk about the worm he really didnt care. All he said is I can give you more sheets and thats all. Im thinking they would at least bring the sheets to the room bc he never said to come get them and 20 mins later we call and he said im not bringing them. You have to come and get them. Very unprofessional. Nasty Sheets and linen. Im glad i had some of my own personal cover to put on our beds.

The breakfast was adequate but not what I would consider a full continental breakfast. Coffee was very weak (more like a colored water) and the selection of options was just ok. The staff was very friendly and I'd consider a stay here again if not for that reason alone.

Stayed here for my birthday and the first room the heat didn't work so they moved us to another room and the second room had bed bugs and when we confronted the employee at the desk he replied sorry I don't know what to tell you except you can try calling until you get the mgr. I asked him to call the mgr/owner or leave a message and he again replied I don't know how to get in touch with anyone. I asked for a refund and was told he could not do that. We left and tried several times to reach a mgr with no luck. So a waste of time and money to a place with bad customer service.

They gave me the run around. The room I booked was not the room I got. When I asked the front desk right after check in they said I didn't book a two queen bed room. I then showed my hotels.com confirmation. The attendant told me that the manager would be in in the morning and I could talk to her then. In the morning she was not available and the lady at the desk said I was notified (voicemail while traveling I didn't get until then). The kids had to sleep on a pull out couch in a separate area away from me and my wife.

Maid service everyday, rooms are clean, could use some paint, fixups, but everything works. Affordable and convenient to come and go for business.

Staff not warm. No refills for any breakfast items , for example once made, one pot of coffee, one pot of waffle batter - when it’s gone, it’s gone - even an hour before breakfast time is over.

Did not stay no elevator to accomadate and was assured refund by staff and denied it. Never booking them again. Very disappointed in the hotel after having to book another hotel.

The shower had what looked like pubic hair all in it toilet was dirty. The floors were filthy. I didn’t even stay my whole time I end up leaving the next morning.

The room was great. The bedding was very comfortable and the location was excellent. The room was very affordable. The only issues I had were that the body wash dispenser in the shower was empty, and also the hand soap dispenser by the sink was empty. The box was empty when I pulled 2 tissues out of the tissue box. Other than that, everything was fine.

I could hear every footstep of the person on the floor above us. The television picture quality was awful. Peeling paint in the bathroom and the heating unit emitted strange noises.

Our Stay was an Enjoyable valentines weekend. We were very pleased with the room in addition to the polite and courteous staff. The one Big disappointment was the breakfast. POOR ! And I will leave it at that.

Property was okay and we would stay again however the room had quite a bit of garbage left in it and we even found someones keys in the pillows. The pull out couch was noticeably broken and there was used tissues under the couch cushions. We were wondering if the room was missed being cleaned before we came. Staff on the day we left were very friendly but check in staff was not very helpful. Continental breakfast was okay.

The toilet seat was ready to fall off the toilet. That tells me the this hotel is not maintained as it should be.

It was a very pleasant stay, I had a couple of events to attend at the KSU campus and this was perfect, clean room, clean bed, warm water, 5-10 min walk to campus, along with a variety of food options near by. Breakfast was nothing special and walls are thin, especially on Valentine’s Day. But for the price, it was very good.

I am taking it up with the company and with Hotels.com. I am not pleased with the way my very sensitive situation was handled. I fell TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE would have STEPPED UP to the plate.

I stopped here for one night while on a road trip. The room was dirty and the whole place was run down and in need of repair. People were noisy in the halls all night. The surrounding area is a college town and appeared safe. There were a lot of restaurant options nearby.

Our booking thru Hotels.com was very easy and the discount made it even better! The atmosphere was nice, comfortable and chill vibe.. The bed and pillows OMG! We slept like babies on that king bed. Great job! Also, Easy access to the interstate, shopping mall, restaurants and Macy’s. We definitely give Baymont by Wyndham Kennesaw the stamp of approval for your hotel stay when in Kennesaw, Georgia. We will book again and again. Thank you!
