    I absolutely loved the room despite it being on the first floor and Katherine at the front desk was so sweet, helpful, and she knew you by name and asked how you were doing. The breakfast options were decent despite it being a Spark, the only thing I didn’t like was that my room didn’t have drawers at all to store clothes, so I lived out of my suitcase.

    My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and the location of the hotel was very good, super convenient to great places to eat and good shopping and highway entrances.

    Breakfast was so so. Great coffee, but the orange juice tasted like water. Good bagels, yogurt. Stale granola. Hard boiled eggs that were over boiled and inedible. Great location with an Ihop, a Quik Trip, a thrift store and a Chinese buffet all within walking distance. Comfortable bed and pillows.

    Fridge made a terrible loud noise. Other guest have no respect for others trying to sleep. Cleaning crew start to early in the morning. I stay here for sleeping and I didn't get much sleep!!! I will probably stay somewhere else next time I come to town!!!! Same as above!!!

    As we drove across the US to visit time with family and friends we booked our lodging the day of because we were never sure of our final daily destination. Hilton was amazing! Comfort and all. But we loved the staff because they were so warm and welcoming after a long day of travel. We also appreciated the following: hooks for easy access as soon as we entered our room, simple but delicious and selective breakfast even offering Oat milk! Thank you staff at this Hilton!!!

    Our hotel rooms stopped the cleanest. There was fingerprints on our bathroom door and walls. Room floor had problems on them like it hadn’t been slept the front desk. I am doing great, but showed pictures of a weight and he said that he had one in the pool is supposed to open April 1 and the pool is empty. The hotel has a lot of potential, but it definitely needs to help in the cleaning department. Definitely not the cleanest hotel.

    Unfortunately there were amenities that weren't in use due to water issues in Kannapolis, so can't really rate those. I didn't like that when checking in no one asked for identification. That did make me a little uncomfortable as other hotels have always asked for my license to verify that I'm who I say I am. Other than that everything else was ok.

    Staff was polite and helpful. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Water in the entire city had been contaminated with E. coli and was unable to be used for bathing. Breakfast was not served due to this. Health department had shut down the breakfast. It is not the hotel’s fault but they had ample time to tell us of the situation prior to our arrival so we could have changed our reservation to another hotel outside the city limits where the water contamination was not a factor so we could have showered and had a hot breakfast. Though they did offer us a snack breakfast the next morning ,they offered no other compensation for the fact that we were unable to shower and missed the hot breakfast. I feel that they could have offered us some kind of monetary compensation for missing out on these two MAJOR reasons to stay in a hotel

    There were a few people hanging out in the parking lot, drinking and smoking pot but we didnt feel unsafe...just felt cheap and sketchy. Check-in/out were super easy and staff was very kind. We did not try the breakfast, so no review on that. Overall, it wasnt a bad stay - we got what we paid for. Would we stay again? Maybe/maybe not, depending on if upgrades are made.

    Front desk was nice enough to give us room right at top of stairs so she could get up stairs and straight to room. But 1st they offered me my money back with no cancelation fee due to this if we wanted. My friend said she could do it so we stayed. The front desk did everything to make that easier for us.     The breakfast wast breakfast at all, it was more like grab and go, they only have bagels, cereal, yogurt and boiling egg, also they mix the oranges juice with water. The coffee at night is super cold and there was nobody in the front lobby to ask them to make fresh. The elevator was broken so we have to take stairs from the 4 floor with the all of are bags and a toddler not fun at all.

    It was very clean when ask for more towels they were supplied quickly Management we’re not liking how they treated me as for pet fees made stay charge me when I booked to stay over another pet fee to be honest this very upsetting to me since I stayed for 6 days total Plus a 100 deposit due to this I will never stay here again manager is uncaring I really don’t mind paying for my dog as a 1 time fee but for extra stay days is ridiculous

    It had a microwave. This was a very disappointing stay. The washcloths were dirty, the shower head was broken, and the bathroom was not properly cleaned. The elevator was also out of service, which was extremely inconvenient. The hotel looks nothing like the photos shown on Booking.com. I have no intention of returning.

    The room was okay. House keeping was on point. The microwave didn’t work and when I brought it to the lady at the front desk attention she acted as if she didn’t care. I asked her to warm up my food since it didn’t work and she got an attitude. The breakfast sucked. I will never stay at this location again!

    We were coming to the Charlotte area for a banquet and our wedding anniversary and on the way to the hotel, we received an email telling us that our reservation was cancelled due to overbooking. Luckily I had checked my email or we would not have known until we got there. They stated that they were paying for another reservation for us at the Quality Inn (motel) because "They had checked and there was nothing else available anywhere". When I looked it up, it was a low quality motel that looked like it would charge by the hour (Its the Quality Inn at 80 Transit Ct Concord if you want to see how horrible it was). Luckily, a quick search on Hotels.com and I found plenty of nice places with rooms available and got a reservation elsewhere. When I called the Spark, the employee I spoke with (Daryl) could care less about our plans or the impact of their cancellation on us. He said it was "Hilton's fault" as "they overbooked" and the Spark had not control over it. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

    The staff was vary nice & professional. The sole issue was that the elevator didn’t go up so you had to press down & then get in & then press an upper floor to be able to go up! That was a bit of a pain! Everything else was nice & it was clean & the beds were comfortable.

    The room door (room 207)was temperamental and nearly impossible to open at times. Fix it or include instructions on where to push/how to open it. Angela at the front desk was great. The room was clean and well prepped. Some protein at the 'continental breakfast' bar is needed. Most all tubs at all hotels/motels need to be replaced with showers even though it is costly. Great TV but the program guides were not populated, so no way to know what is on a channel without tuning to that channel. Good value stay.

    Extremely friendly staff, everyone I interacted with was wonderful! Comfortable beds and pillows but I hated the material of the scratchy blanket! I would have liked to see the bathroom cleaned more thoroughly and the condition of the shower and toilet wasn’t the best. It was pretty hot in the hallways and elevator and the AC in my room was so squeaky and kicked on every 5-10 minutes to maintain the temperature. It wasn’t ideal for a very peaceful sleep. I was here for an emergency visit to NC and a family member was at Atrium Hospital so I liked the proximity to that. It was also within walking distance to a couple restaurants, gas station, and thrift store. Overall, I’d stay here again for a very basic hotel stay.

    The room was absolutely disgusting! We were booked to stay in the room for the 12th through the 14th, however The room was so disgusting. We left on the 13th. The bathtub was filling up with water and not draining. The bathtub had stains in it and residue. There were bugs and spiders when we initially arrived. We had to get our own cleaner to clean up the hotel before even putting our stuff down in the room. We have requested a refund and that the room be taken off of our credit cards. We had two rooms booked at this Location and we would like to be reimbursed for both rooms. The front office staff was clueless about how to handle this situation and stated that it was up to the manager and that the manager would arrive however, the manager never came. This was a horrible experience. We actually do not want to give them any stars.

But overall for the price, and it being recently renovated. It’s okay. Would probably book again if in town.

    I thought this was a new hotel. It’s a new hotel as it was an old hotel that was bought out and refurbished. My room had ants. They moved me to room next door which ants too. Just a random one here and there. And the AC poured out water. Front desk staff was very accommodating with the issues though.

    I went to this hotel for business, it turned out to be quite a pleasant experience. The only unpleasant tree was the fact that you had to pay for food in the marketplace other than that, though it was fantastic.

    The beds were NOT comfortable, at all. The A/C unit was very noisy. The front desk clerk took a message (we saw her write it down), she confirmed with us face to face, we requested Clean Towels, total room cleaning not necessary, and pick up the pile of towels at our door and leave clean ones on the bed. Returned that evening, soiled towels still on the floor and no clean towels had been delivered. The front desk staff were all VERY attentive and friendly. It was a place to stay while going back and forth to the Hospice House, that's about it though.

    Ended up staying here after our apartment was being renovated w/o our knowledge. Spoke with representative from Hilton who confirmed that I was able to book this location as a local for my family and I, check in went smooth, staff was very friendly.     Stay was for three nights. Did not clean my room upon the first night nor give fresh towels although it was requested. Was told if I needed fresh towels I would need to come get them. The hallways were extremely hot… no AC in the hallways although the AC in the room was working.

    Took 20 min to get checked in/ about same for check out. House keeping was great. Out of a lot of items at breakfast bar/ items(orange juice, apple juice machine not working. Bath tub while taken a shower, I had 6" of water in tub before shower was completed. Bed were comfortable.

    Lost my reservation and was going to charge me over $900 to have a room for 5 nights then it even seem to care I booked third party cuz they switched to a different company and lost my reservation went next door to microtel and they gave me a room no problem And it was only about 650 for 6 nights

    I would love to tell you about our stay but they lost our reservation when the hotel switched from the Comfort Inn and they could not accomodate us even though we had a conformation number from both Comfort Inn & Spark. So we had to find a hotel at 10pm that night that could take us.

    We checked out a day early. My husband walked in the room and the whole light fixture fail out and hit him in the arm. It did get fix that night so we checked out the next morning. The person on staff wrote up a safety report and the manager still hasn’t call me or my husband back to apologize about the inconvenience! Never again!

    Booked my room for the weekend through hotels.com in January for April. When I originally booked the room the hotel was called Comfort Inn and Suites. When I arrived the hotel was bought out and changed their name a week prior to my arrival. When I arrived to check in I was told they did not have my reservation and the hotel was fully booked for the weekend and they would not be able to accommodate my stay. Since I booked through a third party there was nothing the hotel could do. Lesson learned I will never book through hotels.com or any other third party company again.

    Construction activities taking place all over the property. Nowhere before the booking this was mentioned. They were working pass 11pm. My worst stay ever. A Bobcat working just outside my room. Smell of paint everywhere. I recorded videos os these issues but hotel staff didn't care.

    We enjoyed our stay however they were doing a lot of construction work. The workers were very apologitic for all the construction debris around. I didn't know about the construction ahead of time. But overall we mainly stayed in our hotel room so the construction didn't bother us.

    Didn't expect it to be under construction when we got there. We couldn't use the front entrance at one point. Got a call stating the elevator was going down. Our room didn't seem to be complete. The toilet half worked. It ran most of the time. No hairdryer. Was only suplied enough towels for 1 person for two people and when asked for more, The attendant said she wasn't sure if she could provide 2 extra washcloths because everyone was asking also. Oone could tell that not all rooms were booked due to construction so there should have been plenty. Checking out always seems to be sketchy. I paid at the facility but they said they couldn't provide a receipt. Probably my last time staying there.

    They are doing huge renovations of the whole property but we did not know prior to arriving! So it smelled very strong of paint fumes and pretty noisey. Room was already updated so it was pretty clean and nice. Kind of hard to get around with the renovations too. Less parking but I think that’s bc of renovations too!

    Heads up they are in the middle of doing construction. Front desk staff had an attitude and were less than friendly. Got up to my floor and walked off the elevator to see that my floor is in the middle of a remodel maybe? Got to my room and heard a dripping noise, the shower was dripping and there was no way to stop it and the toilet ran nonstop all night. Went to charge my phone and only 1 outlet would work in the room. Atleast the sheets were clean.

    We woke up at 7:30 am to NO RUNNING WATER. We had to go downstairs and wait 30 minutes for them to figure out what was wrong and get our water back on. Breakfast was terrible, food was cold and it was dirty in the food area. DO NOT STAY HERE! We were never told “I’m sorry” about any of our issues, much less given a refund. This places should be closed down until they can get their stuff together.

    This hotel is a rag. Looks reconditioned by teenagers. Worse is they accept reservations for handicapped accessible and switch to a regular room on arrival. I asked if we got a double Queen accessible and was told yes. The. Room was not accessible. It had a bathtub, not roll in shower Went down and was told acrssable was only in king rooms. We were there for a medical procedure the next morning and my son with prostetic leg had to pass on shower. Would not go again. They told me I should have called to double check my reservation. If I select it on the site, it should be what it is. Poor practice.

    This hotel is a dump. It has mold coming from the ceiling, soft spots in the walls that can be seen, door locks that dont work, the staff is rude and unprofessional, the hotel smells and is dirty. I would not recommend anyone stay here.

    We stayed at this Comfort Inn due to it's proximity to Atrium Health. It served it's purpose as a place to sleep, but once you start scratching at the surface, you realize there are some minor issues here and there. For example, we had stayed here twice over the course of 2 weeks and upon our first stay, I had to use an extension cord to plug in electronics on the night stands. Also, the floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned as there was debris scattered around the room. On our second stay in a different but similar room, the alarm clock on the night stand wasn't working at all, and the TV only had 5 channels. Again, not huge issues but minor conveniences. Additionally, we utilized the pull-out couch for our 3 year old and the cover for the mattress was significantly stained. Fortunately, our 3 year old didn't care and we brought an extra blanket so it was fine.

    There is painter's tape everywhere, including over the peephole of the door to our room and several others. They aren't mindful of that as a safety issue. My husband saw a cockroach running through the room. We won't be back.

    This property is under renovation. The bathroom and doors in my room are in primer and look and feel dirty. There’s not even a toilet paper holder. Guests should not be in rooms that are being painted. I will be asking for a refund.

    The staff were very, very nice when we arrived and left. We booked thru a third party and we did not know that the hotel was under a major renovation. The room was pleasant but needed more cleaning. Hair on the shower walls-not something I wanted to see. Bathroom needed a lot of cleaning. Renovation or not the bathroom/room should be clean.

    Hotel is being remodeled. The first room was dirty with stained bedsing and furniture. The dust from the drywall beinh sanded was in the halls and came under the door. Im allergic to it and it cause breathing problems. I got moved to a room that was supposedly remodeled with broken shower rod and loose shower head. There were spiders and the molding by the bathroom was rotten. When my son attempted to sleep on the pull out sofa bed he laid down and the matress fell thru the frame and he fell on the ground. The free breakfast gave all of us stomach problems. Was a very unpleasant experience.
