The price was fair There were stains on the floor and bedsheets and towels. The internet went in and out for hours two days straight. The room was suppose to be non smoking and there was a cigarette burn on the tub. I was there for a week and housekeeping didn’t come once to clean the one even though I was told twice they would. The pillows were super thin and the bed was not comfortable. When I pulled the bed back from the wall there was inches of dirt behind it. The hallways smelled of marijuana smoke.

It was pretty good. The second night of my stay, I was awakened to the sound of an argument, about 2 AM. By the nature of their words, I believe it was 2 staff arguing with each other. About every 30 minutes, they would start arguing again. I was staying very near the office. If I heard it they heard it. But I believe it was them doing the arguing. Then morning came, I went to the breakfast area. No beverages were available. The lady said, the city is having water cleanliness problems, and the water is not safe to be used. No coffee, no juice !

The property surprised me because it was (out of a 10...maybe a 4). The reviews were incorrect. The people sitting outside was the first issue...like it was a homeless shelter, the old cars being worked on didnt help. The room itself was ok. Our room didnt get cleaned one day and the a/c stopped working at 4am on the next day. I expected more from a Wyndham property.

Nothing Very dated and not kept up. Also, we did not stay because there was an ecoli issue with the water supply. Upon arrival, we were told there was an issue, but not the extent of it. We were given 1 bottle of water to use to brush our teeth. Since there was 2 of us in the room, I asked for a second bottle but was told they were only allowed 1 per room.

The room was not as pictured in the room selection. The kitchenette was missing. The room was filthy. The couch was filthy. Didnt dare sit on it. There was blood or something on the wall in the bathroom. The hallways wreaked of smoke from cigarettes and weed which some of it had leaked into the room since the door was not sealed. I had a hard time believing I was in a Microtel.

The machines were broken or breakfast wasn’t available at all the water. It was water in front of in the front in front of the door, so you slipped as you’re walking across the painted cement and I did slip no blankets. I had to buy my own blanket what else noise levels other than the Internet it was very clean and if you know if you’re just gonna have somewhere to go just to lay your head, then that bed the bed was a little it was it was hard.

When I hit a Deer and my plans changed, they refused to give me credit or a refund and I had to drive 150 miles out of my way to keep the reservation. If I had known the place was such a DUMP, I would have let them keep the money. I suggest you send one of your people there and check the place out for yourself, this place makes me consider booking elsewhere in the future.

The front desk employee (or maybe manager) was amazing. She was very attentive to customer requests. She was also super friendly and seemed to like her job. Her service, as well as the other front desk employee, was very good. There was coffee 24/7 if you wanted it. We were given gift bags with a snack and a bottle of water when we checked in. The bed was firm and great for the back. Not so good things: The lobby smelled like a skunk...literally. I did not participate in the breakfast. There was not much there. The room - In a non-smoking room, someone had smoked and the toilet had burn marks from it. The room needed to be painted and holes fixed. Tile had tears in it. The carpet needed to be cleaned. There was not much to the bed covers (wrinkled and looked stained?) and the pillows were super squishy and cheap. Doors allow light and NOISE to come into your room, so sleep was a little difficult. There were very noisy people both nights. Children were up until 2a thumping, running, and screaming. Men were in the hall talking loudly in the middle of the night. Someone was opening and closing their door over and over at 3a which sounded like someone coming into my room.

I was attending a conference where I needed to be alert so I do not feel that I was able to receive all I needed for this. Also, there was no bedspread, no plugs for bathtub, the hotel had a strong skunk odor. I did not have a phone in the room to contact front desk or an iron. The carpet was dirty. The front desk personnel did listen to me but I am sure it was hard to quiet guests and rooms were sold out so that they could not move me to another floor.

The whole place rinnkwd of weed, rooms, hallway, elevators, outside. People hang outside to drink and smoke weed. For sure not goid place to stay with children.

I was extremely disappointed by our stay here. The beds had hair on the sheets/pillows. There was some brown substance on the ceiling part of shower. There were cigarette burn marks on sheets and on the side of the bathtub. The carpet looked like it had not been vacuumed. Furthermore, the towels were dirty and I found what looked like dead fleas on the towels. The only reason we didn’t leave is because we had to be up super early for an event and weren’t sure if we could secure a hotel elsewhere for the remainder of the night.

This was not the hotel experience we had hoped for. When we arrived there were boxes (new bed frames) stacked in the entryway and plexiglass completely surrounding the check-in desk. We couldnt hear a word the clerk was saying. Then she popped a $50 security deposit on us, on top of out nightly room fee. When we walked into our room we immediately noticed a roach crawling on the nightstand. So my husband requested a new room, which they gave us just on the other side of the hallway. This room seemed fine until you looked at the wall length mirror over the beds that looked to have a hole (assumption: from a bullet) and something splattered above the bed on the ceiling. Least of our concerns but still disappointing were the pillows, lack of any comforters and the burning smell from the GFI in the bathroom when you plugged anything in.

I need one bed but I have 2 beds in the room, makes the room very crowded. The mattresses was old you can feel the springs. Was advised on check-in to pay the deposit in cash for quick return. On the morning of my checkout, the receptionist went to the room to check if everything is in order before the refund of the deposit. Took longer to return. My taxi arrived and left without it. We talked over the phone on my way to the airport and told her to put it on my card since they have my card information, but was told to pick it up in person.

This is a decent, basic, no frills place, that was fine for our purpose. It was clean and had a small fridge and microwave, but no coffee pot or hairdryer. No place to sit for the breakfast offered, which was extremely minimal, but overall was fine for a quick overnight stay!

The whole hotel smelled like weed. Both nights during our stay people were slamming doors and yelling. There was a guy who must be living there. First he was sitting in the lobby while people are checking in. He was playing music on his phone very loud and the lady at the desk didn’t even tell him to turn it down. Somebody that was staying at the hotel across the street was blaring the stereo on their vehicle for a while. Didn’t seem like a desirable place to stay if you want to get any sleep.

Brekfast? HA basically white bread and mini muffins just sitting on a plate out in the open! THANK GOD we only needed to stay one night but that was still to long! YOUVE BEEN WARNED!

This Motel was closed on my arrival. Expedia had sent me multiple reminder messages about my booking and even telling me that there was no need to contact the facility. It was a local event weekend so piratically no other room where available- esp at a decent rate. My wife contacted Expedia and was promised to be refunded within 24 hour- 48 hours later - nothing. I will never use Expedia.com again!

This was my first stay at a Microtel Inn. There was no soap in the bathroom. I was going to overlook this since I had soap with me, until I noticed the smoke detector was missing from it's base. Since this was a serious personal safety issue, I notified the desk person of both issues. She responded in a courteous and professional manner, bringing soap and a working smoke detector to the room, although it was not the right size for the base. I told her I expected a rate adjustment in the morning because of the serious nature of these issues. She apparently did contact her manager because I did receive an adjustment to my rate because of these issues.

Booked a suite. Drove 12 hours to have Thanksgiving dinner with family. Checked in and went to our room. Discovered that it was just a room. Not a suite. Went down to the front desk to have this mistake rectified and was told that it was not a mistake, and that the suites were in another section of the hotel, and that section was under renovation. Was too tired to do anything but sleep that night. But, first thing the next morning called Travelocity, and was booked in another, and much better hotel that very day. Maybe I should have known things were not quite right when the reception area had been stripped down to bare concrete. Stayed at a Microtel hotel before, and enjoyed my stay. Sadly, not this time.

The hotel lobby was completely torn up with huge cracks in the concrete floor. The ceilings had leaks in our hallway with buckets sitting around. The staff was nice and extremely helpful though!!! They tracked down a refrigerator for our room which was a huge help because we were in town for my son's golf tournament for 4 days. The continental breakfast was below average but ok. I had hard boiled eggs and lunchmeat in our frig so I used one of their bagels and made a ham, egg and cheese open faced bagel each morning. The juice machine was out of order the first day but working the next day and the ice machine was our of order the entire stay which would have been useful for our sporting event. They seemed to have a towel shortage. No bath mat was given until I asked for one which I got after 2 days. No hand towels ever and only 2 towels which I used one as a bath mat till I received it. Then when I asked for more towels they had to check other rooms. In the morning I received 2 more towels which looked more like rags but they did the job. Plus, they were out of conditioner (but plenty of shampoo.) I purchased my own conditioner to use during my stay.

Then when I asked for more towels they had to check other rooms. In the morning I received 2 more towels which looked more like rags but they did the job. Plus, they were out of conditioner (but plenty of shampoo.) I purchased my own conditioner to use during my stay.

Your front desk agents were awesome. You did not have the tub towels. Most important feature for me was the business center you have listed on all your websites. You don't have a business center and this feature is the reason I paid on line for a room. I could not access or deliver needed business documents because there was no business center. Hotel reportedly flooded in Jan 2017; affected area appropriately walled off, lobby area carpet and lower drywall removed. It was raining on day of check in and the lobby area was leaking. Deciding to look past the disaster of the lobby and checked in. 1st room appeared to have mole spores on walls and on shower curtain and I moved to another room. 2nd room lacked cleanliness (dingy sheets, spots on bed, hair on pillows). No need to look further! Staff (young lady) was very pleasant and tried her best to accommodate, but the options were not suitable. Best part of this experience was talking to the staff!!

We were in town for an event at Charlotte Motor Speedway and weren't planning to spend much time in the room, so price and location were the primary factors in our choice. The motel is undergoing a remodeling and it shows - no carpet in the lobby, ice machine was not working, continental breakfast was non-existent. It was a roof over our heads fifteen minutes from the track at a fairly low price, however, and that's all we were looking for.

We booked this place for the price and location. We knew it wouldn't be the Ritz Carlton but figured it would be fine for a short stay. All of the other comments regarding the forgotten construction of the front lobby weren't a concern for us. What was a concern was that there was some type of leak on the first floor that left three rooms inhabitable according to their own staff and because they were overbooked, they put us there anyway. The smell from the flood and I'm guessing mold, grew worse by the day. We couldn't afford to go elsewhere and we were told there were no other rooms. Do not allow them to put you in room 122. It will make you sick.

The hotel is undergoing an extensive restoration and the staff tried to make the best of the situation. Couldn't have asked any more of them. The ownership should have had a better plan.

I refused to stay once I saw the room. It was filty with stains on all the bedding. The bed skirts where just plain dirty. The elevator had a strong smell of marijuana. The curtains in the room were falling down and ripped. The front desk clerk stated she would send an email to me stating there would be no charge, I have yet to receive it.

Also, the hotel lobby was in shambles due to a recent sprinkler system malfunction but I won't hold that against them because that was beyond there control. I couldn't wait to get out of there.

This hotel was nasty. They said they were remodeling and had flooded recently but the building permit posted was from 1-13-17. Our room and bathroom was not clean, the bed was not comfortable and the pillows were horrible and the old curtains had holes in them. The bathroom was dirty as well. I tooks some pictures that I would be happy to send to you. Travelosity needs to know about the condition of this hotel. If it really under a remodel customers should be told this when they make a reservation.

Close to a lot but still not worth it. The hotel is under construction apparently and there is no flooring on the first level. The walls in the room needed to be cleaned, the bathroom walls needed cleaned. The floor needed vacuumed. The elevator smelled of weed and chemicals. Use this place as a last resort.

Terrible. Very run-down. Would not stay again if it was free! Very sketchy people lurking around in the parking lot and throughout the hotel. I did NOT feel safe and that rarely happens to me. It was bad enough that I made sure I wrote a review to warn others.

this would be a great review except for one thing: smoking! the bed was comfortable but there was aa latent smell of smoke in the bedding and mattress. i am allergic to smoke so it was disturbing. the early morning clerk was smoking as she walked through the lobby = not acceptable. a guest was smoking in the lobby - unacceptable.

Terrible! Smokey room. Dirty. Homeless person in lobby in the morning sleeping. No breakfast available. Had to wait a long time to check out - one person handling many functions. Terrible experience. Bed was lumpy. TV went on at 5:30 in the morning. I heard a couple yelling and cussing at each other next door to me all night. I called the front desk and there was no help.

Every Microtel I have stayed in previously had more amenities (such as a fridge) and a much better breakfast. This room had no microwave or fridge (which I had requested). Check-in took almost 30 minutes because no one was at the front desk. In fact, everytime I went to the lobby (which is where the ice machine was), there was no one at the desk. I went 4 times that evening. The breakfast consisted of cereals with sour milk, hard boiled eggs left sitting in a bowl on the countertop and toast. Overall, the stay was a disappointment from the usual Microtel experience.

When we checked in they gave us a room that had not been cleaned. The second room didn't have pillow cases on the pillows. The whole second floor was shaking while they were running laundry downstairs.
