    Fantastic stay in a convenient location. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Coffee maker in room was broken (machine missing an important part to make it useable), therefore we had to purchase coffee. Otherwise, excellent stay!

Maybe the best thing the hotel can offer is the good location. Before arrival I have tried to contact the property many many times, via different channels, without any success. After arrival I understood why, as some of the staff on the front desk do not seem very interested in talking to guests. Also, be aware if you book a room for 4 people - 2 being kids - and pay for breakfast via this platform, you actually gonna get breakfast only for two people ( contrary to what booking.com said) because of the "hotel platform". The room itself is ok and fairly comfortable but nothing special. This hotel is far more expensive than the other ones in the area and is simply not worth it as it is very similar to them.

    Big, clean room with a lot of space and designated areas to commune. The rest of the property is clean, nicely designed and very well maintained. Room service was good, quick and staff are super friendly. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone looking for an ideal place to stay in Jersey City / 15 minutes path ride from NYC.

    The location was very good with easy access to NYC, view was amazing and room were spacious and clean. Staff were not friendly. Didn’t feel welcomed at checkin and no one was there to help with the luggage. I had to ask for luggage trolly and push it myself to the room.     We booked the suite for one night and it was simply lovely as an experience. Everything so clean and organized. The staff was great and the breakfast was 5/5! We also used the pool and the jacuzzi (5/5 as well). Definitely will going back!

    The Suite was excellent - very spacious with a lovely view. The food from room service was also excellent. I chose this Hotel because we could get a "river view" at a reasonable rate. I booked the Deluxe Double. However it was a side or partial river view and therefore I feel that the description of "river view" is inaccurate or misleading. You had to stand in the corner of the window and look far to the left to see the river. I upgraded to the suite to get what I consider to be a river view. When I selected the room the first thing that came up was a picture of the beautiful pool. This was another reason for booking the hotel, as I wanted to be able to use the hotel pool. The pool was not available for use, which was very disappointing. There were two beautiful large TV screens in the Suite but although it had advertised "pay per view channels" we were told that it was not working. So we watched the movies on our laptop. I find the picture of the Hotel exterior misleading. The Hotel is not directly on the waterfront.

    When i booked my stay i booked under the understanding that the Hotel was equipped with a pool, gym, parking for my vehicle, rooftop space. When getting there i was told by the front desk staff that they had no pool available at the time but i can book a day pass for a pool 5 minutes away from the hotel, and the same for the rooftop. the parking was through a 3rd party company at $67 a nigh. I booked a king deluxe suite with separate sitting area and a view of NY but When i got to my room it was a regular Hotel room with no sitting area and all I wad able to see out the window was buildings and a huge parking garage. Not to mention that the refrigerator was broken. I was so disappointed and will never ever book there again.

At $400 a night how many times do you need to have the facilities staff addressing problems with the room? One member of our party didn't have a door or a shower curtain in his shower. My wife and I were in a room that had a bathroom door that could not be closed. The bathroom door problems are not new - back in June we stayed there and a member of our party got stuck in the bathroom because of the incorrectly installed doors during the renovation. You would think after something like that they would check the other rooms. Not wait for people to have problems and to address them one by one. It seems greedy and irresponsible.

At midnight on Saturday night, we had to spend the better part of an hour figuring out how to get inside his hotel room to free him from the bathroom. Thankfully he had brought his phone to the bathroom or he would have been stuck all night! The staff were nice enough, but nothing at all extended as even as gesture to make up for an awful experience. An awful experience that cost $650 a night, by the way! It 8s worth noting, from talking with staff, door problems are not unusual here. We have stayed at this hotel many times in the past - it is generally nice and in a great location. But we won't be staying again.

    The front desk was terrible. They did not notify us. They were turning the water off in the hotel. We’re not willing to lower the rate because of that I am handicapped and I had to go use the public bathroom to go to the bathroom because the toilets in the rooms were too short, and there was no hand bar

    Super easy walk to the PATH station. Hotel was immaculate—lobby and our room. Staff couldn’t have been nicer or more friendly. Parking and local restaurants were very convenient and we felt safe walking at night, too. We will definitely stay here again.

    Wonderful stay! Would definitely come back. Easy to get to Rockefeller center and LGA from Path and Subway lines, so if visiting the city, it’s worth it! The area around was fun to explore as well, lots to do for couples or for the whole family.

    I enjoyed the location of the hotel. It was very convenient to all the shopping and tons of restaurants. The housekeeper that we met was very friendly and did everything to make sure that we had everything we needed, even though we had to do not disturb Sign on our door each day she was phenomenal, the gentleman who helped us with our bags from the car to our room, extremely helpful and friendly. The person that was there in at the desk that checked us in was the negative factor and the entire day was very flat dry and not very enthusiastic, nor did she smile the entire time she seemed as though we were bothering her , that would be the biggest thing I would change. Also wasn’t at the hotel. It was quite a renovation very desperately needed for that hotel.

    The faculty was very nice and clean- parking was a bit far. The tub in the room i had which was the junior suite was standard i thought the room had a hot tub- the fire and oak restaurant was really good

    Property was great but had a horrible checkout experience with a very rude front desk agent name Stephen. He didn’t say hello just asked what I needed. Didn’t respond to a question I asked which I then asked him if everything was ok or if there was a problem. He was one of the rudest I’ve ever encountered.

    Cons - mattresses need replacing which is unfortunate in a high-end hotel. We paid for a river view hotel which was actually only partial and mostly blocked, not noted on the Expedia rundown. Once there we were told only suites face the river. Unlike other nice hotels we've stayed in, no 24 hour coffee service or water to refill jugs or to just get a glass. There were two plastic bottles left in our room day two, but would have preferred access to fill refillables (tap was ok for the area but not cold). Staff was really busy so hard to get more than a rushed answer.

    Perfect location . Clean and very comfortable with a view of the Manhattan skyline . Parking was easy and the location for walking the Hudson and Newport area was just perfect . The heated pool and jacuzzi open until midnight is a huge plus !

    I asked for some more bottle water but got rejected, they asked me to purchased from the vendor machine, the vendor machine was broken…I have to walk 40mins at mid night 2am. The bathtub was clogged at the second day, and no clean towels even after I asked house keeping. $400 per night totally not worth. Avoid this hotel!

    was there for a wedding across the street and stayed the night unfortunately, there was a bed bugs in one of the rooms in our wedding party. The manager was horrible , didn’t provide good customer service and just said some one from Marriot will contact you. The second incident, was that a fire alarm went off at 3 am and everyone on the floor was awoken from it.
