The photos in the Expedia listing are not representative of the room you will have. There was multiple cockroaches over the course of our stay and neither the floor was swept or the walls cleaned of food stains? All and all I was worried for my health in a way that I’ve never had camping. Spend the extra 50 a night for a real hotel

Checked in at 3pm and allocated a room that when I got to it hadn’t been cleaned. Allocated another room which could have done with a proper deep clean throughout. The premises is generally dilapidated and needs deep cleaned, painted and carpets renewed just for a start. The bed was fairly comfy but only had one sheet covering the mattress and no matress protector. One positive was the WiFi and single USB point. At $270 for two nights it’s very expensive for what it is

Better then sleeping in the truck, but common, entrance to this place was like a back of a building storage room entrance, everything old, dirty and outdated. Bed lookeded clean but sheets didn’t smell fresh. Wouldn't recommend unless this is the last hotel option you have. And even then consider something else.

The night manager was nice, but there was construction all night until 5am..... I will never stay there again, the room smelled like mold. I almost left. but my flight was so early.... I have been in 3rd world countries with better hotels.... I am an easy grader. but this hotel was terrible

This hotel looked okay when I booked it. It even has a decent rating on this website and Google. But the room was very dirty. The bathroom and bed were clean, but it smelled like someone had smoked in it and the walls were very grimy. I woke up in the morning to the sound of rats running around in the ceiling. The staff was very nice and accommodating, but the room was very poor quality.

Rooms are hurrible, there was no electricity in the room when i arrived. In short, there has to be some basic hotel standard for a historic city like New York. Looked like a third world country hotel or worse. Would not recommend to anyone unless a serious renovation is carried out.

The intrance was in an ally hidden. They tried doing upgrades but looks sloppily done. Also no parking anywhere. You have to find street parking. For me that was 4 blocks away. I will give 3 stars because it looks like there trying.

The floor hadn’t been swept. There was debris on the floor. The mini blind was broken. I had to cover the window with my t shirts so no body could see in at night. And kind of noisy about midnight.

The room seemed clean when we got there. Water took a long time to heat up but did eventually come. Loud area at night and was impossible to find parking and had to park almost 10 minutes away in a garage. Staff seemed friendly. Honestly not to bad for a budget option.

It was quiet and the beds was comfortable need better pillows though they were very flat had to buy my own and most of the sockets didn’t work.

Very close to the Journal Square Path train. Via the Path trains, both midtown and downtown Manhattan is an easy and quick trip away. Hotel is located in the heart of a friendly and safe Indian neighborhood. The renovated rooms are very nice.

When I arrived the man at the desk was some what pleasant within he kept asking me don’t smoke in the room I don’t even smoke so I don’t know why he kept saying questioning me about smoking then when I went in the room, I found tobacco on the safe, so whoever had the room before me must of rolled a blunt the bathroom was clean the location is in a bad spot you’ll pass it up if don’t pay attention it look like it’s in a Alley way straight out the movies where someone about jump out at you

When arriving I needed to run to use the restroom. When ask hotel clerk if where is the bathroom? He answered we have none even though a door with big letters said bathroom. I had hold it until check in was completed. When entering the room closet door was on the floor & no TV. I have never ben in a situation like this. I should be refunded…

The inn is very clean..& quite spacious, the staff was friendly & helpful, there are many restaurants & shops to buy food ect..its in an indian neighborhood..i would recommend this place & i will stay here again

The walls were stained in hallways and also in room. Also, the light switch in bathroom activates a fan which sent dust fkying out. There was a hole in the wall. Everything seemed unclean.

You get what you pay for. My wife and I only needed it for sleeping since we were going to NYC for a day so we weren't there much. People were nice and helpful.

I saw that the property had a 2 star rating, and was going to give it a 3 star because of the renovations, but then I sat on the bed, and felt and heard the bed springs. There was also a couple of construction flaws that should been addressed before they paid the contractors. Also we should be able to upload pictures of issues into these reviews.

the pne window was opened i tried to close it but it was not working . the pillow was not good only one pillow was there. the water was not available. no stafff serviceee in thay hotel. no phone call for room services. i did not expect this kind of facility in us. my experience was very bad . i did not suggest anyone . honestly i dont like the stay in haibann in hotel

Entire India Square is at your disposal. Lot of options of Indian breakfast, lunch and dinner. Some eateries open till 2am as well. Hotel rooms have a bad odor and average cleanliness. But overall the staffs were good and friendly. Best part is all the food options you get.

Room is covered with dust...mattress is hard like wooden floor...only cold water runs in the bathroom or shower...window doesn't have blinds and there are tenants in the next building...hand basin seems to be broken, room and corridor stinks like smoke...I would have given minus 10 rating for this hotel

The rooms were clean, but the wifi was non existent. I requested to be moved to another room because the tv wasnt working. They moved me easily. But I only got one small towel soap and shampoo. I requested another set but the staff never came through. No bed bugs is a plus. And the restaurants around the area are good. But fix the wifi and give out more toiletries.

The face basin and toilet were clean but the shower is dirty and filled with black mould. Looks like the shower was never washed ever. If the shower head had build up. I asked for it to be clean, it was still dirty. I had to buy bleach and bathroom cleaner to clean the shower head and spray the area.

Pros: Price, location (nice Indian neighborhood in JC with a lot of cool Indian restaurants, near Path Train so you'll be in NYC in minutes) Cons: Cable tv quality wasn't the best but if you're gonna be out & about anyway it's no big deal.

But some issues were there. Only provided one towel and no hair dryer. When asked for more towels, they took a long time to give it to us. Gave a hair dryer which had the adapter missing. Also it took quite a while for the water to get hot.

Terrible room. Very dirty and cold. Not safe because at 6:00 AM someone opened my door but the safety lock prevented him to enter in my room. The TV set was not in my room. The microwave door glass was shattered.

The room itself is big and spacious but not the biggest problem is the cleanliness. Trash is not picked up that was left by the last guest and it looked like the room hasn't been cleaned in a month.

Well I was so happy because it was cheap and the place is nice and smell clean! The room it was so perfect 🤩 and the bathroom love it 😊 the water warm and so good but only I complain on two things. First the door 🚪 opens good but the lock 🔒 not want to close and I went to office and they didn’t fix it 😞 so I sleep like that.. just shut the door but no lock.. and second the blanket sheet when I was about to go sleep and take out the blanket it was a bubble gum big one sticking on the blanket and it’s look like the it’s was there long time 😟 I feel so sad because everything it was too good to be true lol 😂 for the price!! Well I went to the office again and they give me new blankets and I sleep so good and warm! Thanks, and for the price I think we Can’t expect perfection.. just work in those two things and you will be a 5 stars ⭐️ place to stay and cheap!

They said that parking was available. It is....a block away in an extremely congested part of the city. They advertise "extended stay", but provide no dishes or cooking utensils. When we complained and asked for our money back for a two day stay, we got one day's rent back.

I stayed for 3 nights and there was no room service. They gave me one small towel, (a little bigger than a hand towel), and one tiny washcloth. When I asked for another towel the clerk said he will have it sent up. Of course nothing was ever sent up. The next day I asked again and he said the same thing. There was another patron there and on the elevator he told me they always say that but never do. So I went back down and insisted, then he finally went into a closet and gave me what I asked for. The bed felt like a box spring. There was a microwave that was broken and did not work, and there was no flatware in the kitchen. Parking is difficult in that area. The clerk told about a lot around the corner and they charged me $35 for one night! All of this for $100 a night plus tax and fees which came to $349!! I wish I could get my money back or at least half.
