During check in the reception Carla check us with ease and she was very friendly all the time I was there the staff are wonderful… We booked in at this hotel for 4 days for a graduation ceremony and my staying was peaceful.. Complementary breakfast was great. The lady philippine that works there was very friendly and kind… I recommend this hotel

There wasn’t a lot of hot food for breakfast.. the staff at night had her head down when we went to check in. She had to be woken up to check us in. The room smelt like cigarettes even though it should have been non-smoking. Tile broken in the elevator. And the room had water damage in the bathroom. Maintenance definitely not kept up.

The maintenance eeds to be upgraded we had problems with the water in our shower and furniture needs to be upgraded.

Quick access to interstate for travel, but out of the way enough to not be a bigger hassle.

Not so positives.... The carpet in the room was well used. Although I'm sure it was vacuumed, it was well past its best before date. I didn't feel comfortable walking on it with socks or are feet. I put towels on the floor to walk on after I showered. The remote was sticky.... kind of gross. I won't go any further there The breakfast was ok if you like carbs and sugar. No hot eggs so I tried the hard boiled eggs. Calling them 'hard boiled' is an understatement. I good hard boiled egg should be cooked for about 8 minutes. I think these were in for at least 40 minutes. When I tried to eat it, it was like eating sawdust. It was the only egg option so I powered through. The coffee at the breakfast that comes out of the old machine was probably the worst coffee I've ever had, so if you like a good coffee in the morning, you won't find it here. I decided to go back to my room to make a coffee in the machine there and much to my surprise, it was actually worse than the breakfast coffee (which was relegated to second worst coffee I've had). It tasted like cardboard. No lie! I'm guessing it had been sitting there for months or even years. With this in mind, enjoy your stay!

The bed and the walk in shower was nice. There was a half smoked Black-n-Mild under the bed that was left by a previous customer. I didn’t want to be blamed for it because the deposit is pretty steep so I picked it up and threw it away. I wasn’t really happy about that.

The covers was covered with stains, hair all in the bed, blood on the bathroom wall and the sink needed a snack for the water to go down the drain. The beds in the hotel need to be updated because the mattress caves in

Location was close to where I needed to go It was dirty, bed was stained brown in multiple spots, and were big, the shower was a slipping hazards never seen a shower before in a hotel like that it was reckless

When I walked in and show my reservation (from Expedia), the reception desk lady could not find my record in their system. She had to call Expedia to verify my booking information, which took quite a while. Eventually she was able to check me in. I was told that this could be that Expedia failed to pass the information to the hotel system. I truly hope this will not happen to anyone again.

Unfortunately I am unable to give a higher rating. A star was given for location and Samantha’s amazing attitude and friendly personality, she truly made the stay shine. But aside from that, the room was smoke free and reeked of smoke. The bathrooms are very outdated and that is fine but cleanliness lacked a lot. Mold in the shower and tub, stains throughout the room: curtains, bed itself, carpet is in need of replacement or a deep cleaning. I would say for the price it was understandable, but I have stayed elsewhere in the city for less and much more cleanliness. The breakfast provided was also extremely underwhelming, we had the Sunday breakfast of biscuits with gravy. Biscuits were hard and gravy was slimy. Waffles tasted very old. Overall would not stay here again unless it’s absolutely my last option. Special thank you to Samantha again for the friendliness.

Room was clean. Easy to get to from I-10 Car was hit on the second night of stay. Hotel staff wasn’t helpful at all with finding out who hit it even tho they had a camera pointed right at my car

The photos of this place were fake stock photos… the whole place was run down, icky, and gross… I would have NEVER stayed her had the photos been accurate. The front desk clerk was very nice and accommodating, which was the only redeemable thing about this place. If you are a ghetto hotel just say that. Don’t lie. I dis not feel safe here as a single woman.

This hotel was on our route to the cruise port in Jacksonville. All staff we came in contact with were very friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was delicious. I would stay here, again.

The hotel was dirty and smelled really bad. When we got on the elevator to go to our room a prostitue was getting off. We booked for two days but canceled the second because of the condition of the place.

I didn't like the fact the staff said u couldn't have guest.. That was strange to me.. I was visiting from out of town so I do catch up with old friends when I visit Jacksonville. Even when I doordashed they wouldn't allow the delivery to drop my food off to my room.... The amount of money I paid I feel as if I could have had a better stay experience. I wanted to utilize the pool..it was open but full of leaves sadly... Overall I rate this hotel a 1 star.. Not to mention some of the rude staff... Personally my experience wasn't the best but I know I won't book there again.

I did not check in and neither did the two ladies who flew in from Georgia for the same gospel concert. The area was sketchy they had unsavory people meandering around. It was behind a convenience store that had loitering. It was a 0/10. I left and booked the holiday inn 2 miles.

Front desk staff was super friendly, other than that, the room had a very bad smell, I had to request to be moved to a different room, which still had a smell, but not as bad. The carpet is very worn and dirty. I've stayed at other Sleep Ins hotels that are not as bad as this one. This place definitely needs some attention from its management.

Do not be misguided like I was by the pictures online of this hotel, they are fake. This hotel is the most ghetto, ratchet piece of filth I've ever stepped foot in. They make the lobby seem pleasant and welcoming. They have a strict cash only deposit of $150. No worries if you don't smoke you'll get your money back. If no worries, why cash only? Okay that's a little sketchy but we've stayed in Sleep Inn hotels before and know they provide a level of quality that will mean you shouldn't have to worry about smoke if you're not smoking. That last statement could not be more wrong. First step into the room you are introduced to a strong, foul odor of sewage, mildew and cigarette. It's so overwhelming it's hard for one to not gag. We began looking around the room and found hair, stains, broken furniture, broken door handles and let's not forget that smell! We noticed the carpets were wet and the bathroom floor was slick. We booked on a night of a heavy rainstorm and it seems the plumping ran through the room. My husband asked the lady at the counter to come inspect the room and she told him she would make a note of it and if we wanted another room she could move us. After 15 minutes in the waste- I mean room we decided we wanted no part of this location and checked out. Let me begin by saying that not all Sleep Inns are the same. I chose this location against my instincts, but I did so based on a stay at a Sleep Inn in central Alabama. The AL one was excellent when you factor in the collective ideals. The FL location needs repair and upkeep work, which I'm not completely holding against mgt. This is a pro-football town and I'm sure it gets abused by the gameday patrons, just like resort/tourist locations. The breakfast was a lower end of ok. More in the Continental spectrum than the listed "Hot" category. The staff and management were quite friendly, helpful and accommodating. Would I stay here again, probably not my first choice based on what I and my travel partners need to be rested and energized to face the next day. I've stayed in different locations around Jax and my travel partners were not happy with my choice this time. :-(

I canceled the reservation before I worked my flight, only to find out that it wasn’t canceled and this property still didn’t cancel it, took my money and then said they can’t help me in anyway.

OMG. DO NOT STAY HERE! Had MAJOR issues with TV working and NO WIFI for the entire stay. The hallway smelled like s***. Call after call, no resolution of the WIFI and the staff blamed the hurricane although there was no WIFI before hurricane hit Florida. WIFI worked at my home 2 miles from the property. The room: I paid for a suite and the pics indicated 2 tvs in room and tub. Only 1 TV in room and NO tub.The room always felt DAMP. The floors were filthy. The TV was so small. The owners have skimped and have not updated the hotel at all. I will NEVER stay there again and certainly would NEVER recommend. I checked out a day early and forfeited the money.

Call after call, no resolution of the WIFI and the staff blamed the hurricane although there was no WIFI before hurricane hit Florida. WIFI worked at my home 2 miles from the property. The room: I paid for a suite and the pics indicated 2 tvs in room and tub. Only 1 TV in room and NO tub.The room always felt DAMP. The floors were filthy. The TV was so small. The owners have skimped and have not updated the hotel at all. I will NEVER stay there again and certainly would NEVER recommend. I checked out a day early and forfeited the money.

Very clean, renovated (not new as the sign says, pool small but well maintained. Very friendly hard working people , very clean, breakfast diversified but just ok. Would stay there again.. very good for the price.

The staff at this littl hotel was exemplary. Probability the most friendly I have had at any hotel Ive stayed at no matter how many stars. That said it is a very basic place to stay, beds and baths were clean, but hotel is in the older side and could some renovations. I was happy with our stay and would stay again.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The carpet in the floor was wet. I would walk into the bathroom and I would almost fall because due to my shoes being wet from the carpet. The television worked but the volume was blaring and you couldn’t adjust it. Went to desk at 8:15pm and the lady tried to work on it and wasn’t able to fix so she said she would be back. At 11:15pm another staff member was POUNDING on the door to fix the TV. They weren’t able to fix either. Staff was walking around with alcoholic beverage in their hand drinking. Huge crack in the shower wall. There isn’t enough parking so they tell you to park in the gas station in front of them which is a very questionable place as well. This was an absolute horrible experience and didn’t even offer any sort of compensation. I will be taking these issues farther.

There were cockroaches in the room, the room was dirty & there were hairs in the shower before using. The hotel was in a dangerous neighborhood with a lot of lingering homeless people. Please take this hotel off the list of viable places to stay.

The carpet in the room was probably never cleaned. The mattress of the pull out sofa had a huge stain on it. The property looked run down and not maintained. I would not recommend it for families.

The place smell like urine and it bad, don't book it

Third time staying at this particular Sleep Inn and I will be in for a 4th later this month. The place is clean. No safety issues. The water is hot, the sheets are clean and the breakfast offers a decent selection. I haven't had a bad stay at the hotel and will keep staying here. Great value for the money.

Bed was horrible very uncomfortable and the bed skirt was filthy. Carpet was also filthy room should have been much cheaper especially with the uncleanliness of the room

This was not in a safe part of town, and the carpet was extremley dirty. the window in our room on the third floor was dirty as well looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years. Not worth the 130.00 a night.

Staff was friendly upon check-in. The bed was comfortable. The location was convenient. Florida is immediately post-hurricane; this may be the reason the property was not terribly clean.

Very dirty, stains on carpets. Bathroom sink didnt drain, camode was loose. Bathtub was very stained and moldy.

Sleep inn was nice, but when we walk in the weed smell was so bad I thought I booked the wrong hotel smoking room is anything, thank god my non smoking room on the three floor was so great, just a lil problem check in the room 307 the room wasn't clean,but she gave us another room 303 was clean and the weekend here was great and not far from where we had to be.

Apparently, is a deposit for all Choice Hotels, which helped me realize I will not stay at a Choice Hotel in the near future.

Front desk staff were nice. Room was functional for our needs. The breakfast options were subpar, orange juice was old for example. It looked like homeless people were walking in to get the free coffee. While I have no issue with helping someone out, it does make you question safety of the hotel when it’s late.

The Manger on duty was very friendly and professional but the room was not very clean, with hair on the carpet, stained sheets, and towel.

This was a great location for my trip to Jacksonville. I was in town for a concert and it was near the theater. I had a nice stay here.

Front desk staff was rude and abrasive. The breakfast was a serial bag of Froot Loops sitting on the counter. Would never stay there again. Not even enough parking for as many rooms as there are

Convenient location right off of I-10, but a bit too close. Wasn't noisy due to traffic so not bad. Non-smoking room smelled a bit smoky. Overall hotel and rooms are only in fair shape and need some work. Staff was very friendly.

There was very limited parking and there is an overflow lot at the gas station next door. Keep in mind this is on the West side of Jacksonville so the dining and shopping is going to be on the other side. But this property is fine for just a place to rest.

Our room was in disrepair. The walls in the bathroom were corroded and peeling next to the bathtub. The shower had mold growing in it. The floor was dirty.

We had a reservation for two rooms and they didn’t put us together. Both of the rooms was so so so very dirty and in one of the rooms there was roches. When I told that to the front desk they didn’t even say “We are sorry”.

Surprisedly a very nice hotel. This was my first time staying under the “sleep hotel brand” and it was clean, comfy and secure. Great staff, right off the hwy and less than a few miles always from good eatery.

For the price of the room it wasn’t worth it. Located in a run down area of town! The pictures on the app did not match the actual hotel.

It was a room. Smelled of cigarettes and must. One light was out in the bathroom and the lamp by the bed didn't have a bulb. Mirror had toothpaste on it and lamps were dusty. It was ok for one night.

Front desk person was friendly and efficient. Room was C-. Stained carpet, dark stain in tub, all lamp shades broken and stained. Not so much an issue of cleanliness but the room needs an overhaul. Bedding was clean and bed was comfortable. Surrounding area...would not wander outside alone after nightfall.

The night front desk lady just had a bad hair day.
