The coffee should be in the room, not on the ground floor. Besides, the carpets at the hotel entrance were dirty and smelled foul.

Availability

They only had high beds for disabled people. I fell out of the high bed on the second day and spent the 3rd day on the floor. Finally I reached someone and they called the fire department to help me get up. The hotel was unwilling to refund ONE of the 4 days for the bad service.

The staff was very unpleasant and to many shady characters. Also that they ask what vehicle your driving and they wanted a deposit. When you can go to another hotel next door and they don't ask for any of that.

Window in room would not properly close allowing road traffic noise. Garbage bags from other guests left in hallway. Hallway smelled of dog. Out trash cans running over!

The room was super dirty. There was a live roach running on the floor when we arrived. The air-conditioning unit was missing the buttons and we had a hard time figuring out how to turn it on. The telephone inside the room was disgusting. It looked like a if it had not been cleaned in months. I will never stay here again.

While the hotel is showing its age in some areas, it still exceeded my expectations. It's clear that some renovations have been made, and while it's not brand new, you won't hear any complaints from me. The property was clean, spacious, and I always felt safe during my stay. One minor detail I would point out is the USB ports and other connections built into the nightstands under the lamps. They were black and blended in with the furniture, so I didn't notice them until later in my stay. If they had been a lighter color or better highlighted, I could have taken full advantage of charging all my devices. That said, it was a small oversight on my part, and the effort to include them is appreciated. Overall, this hotel helped make my trip even more enjoyable, and I'd definitely consider returning for future visits!

First let me say, we love animals. If you have an animal, you stay in rooms that offer that. We don’t have any pets, and told them this and was put in a room where pets stay. It smelled like animals..We will remember to make sure anywhere we stay, to ask about the room. Other than that, the place was good.??

Avoid this place. Disgusting and sketchy as hell. The photos online are not an accurate representation of conditions there. I got a suite hoping it would be better than a standard room. Wrong. The white bed spread had massive body fluid stains all over it. I used one pillow off the bed and slept on the vinyl couch. At least it looked halfway clean. The bathroom was unclean and in poor condition. There is only a simple ceramic sink hanging off the wall. No vanity with countertop to be able to set your things on. I would have left but it was a pay in advance thing so I would have lost about $250.

Location seem to be in a safe area. The hotel was dirty, run down and the bedding was old. There were roaches in the hotel room! The parking lot was a mess with trash and even a broke down wrecked car.

The location . Tv didn’t work, my room was clean but it wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. I had a velo tobacco patch in the corner of the bed, used bar of soap still in the shower and the shower doors needed to cleaned or new fitting because it was scum and black mold or something on the railing of the shower door .

The room was clean. However it's very old. Had a problem with the toilet but they fixed it right away. They really should consider getting floor to ceiling curtains because if you're a night shift worker you won't be able to sleep during the day with all the light coming in through the windows. I was in town for business and I happened to work the night shift.

Awesome location and easy to walk our dog. The staff was awesome. I found someone else's dog toys under our bed, so I know that area wasn't thoroughly cleaned. The setting on our refrigerator was turned to freezing, so we unexpectedly had two cherry ginger ale canned drinks explode. It sounded like a small bomb and blew the refrigerator door open. The staff was happy to give us rags so we could clean it up

Price was good! Cleanliness of this properly is definitely lacking. Dirty hallways, dirty elevators & the room wasn't much better. While the price wasn't bad, they lacked in a lot of areas. Also found roaches about the shower.

Had to look at several rooms because most smelled like animal pee or cigarettes. After going back to the desk because each too. Was horrible we had no choice but to settle for two rooms that were still bad. Stains on the sheets, past guest hair in the showered and cobwebs on the walls. If I could get my money back I would.

The bathroom was not clean and cobwebs covered the walls. 10 out of 10 do not recommend staying here at all. If I could I’d get my money back.

Where Ruth was an awful hotel, it’s supposed to be a smoke freak. The whole room smelled like smoke. The floor was dirty and greedy. The walls had all kind of stains and drips. They could’ve been wiped off the sheets and towers had stains in them very dingy looking.

TV wouldn't work in my room, switched me to new room and same problem. Staff can't understand English, so no help at all. Showers in both rooms were gross.

We just did a quick overnight stay on our way to Clearwater. It was an ok hotel for the price and convenience. Staff was friendly. Hotel was fairly clean. Would recommend for just a quick overnight stay.

The air conditioner was extremely loud. When the weather came through the television would not work because the satellite would go out there was constant running up and down the hallways by children. I was there for three nights I asked for clean towels, and I never received any on my return back from work on the final day.

Staff not overly freindly . Door handle fell off when using going to the outside by pool. Needs more maintenance.

Absolutely ridiculous… But somehow that’s not even the worst part about this Red Roof Inn “+” The worst part for me was the fact that all the sheets and pillowcases strongly smelled like Dog piss!! I have travelled around the world and stayed at countless budget hotels and this would definitely rank in the top 3 WORST places I have ever stayed in… if it were going to be more than 1 night, there is no way I would have stayed here 1 second longer than I had to.. So in conclusion, this facility needs to be shut down and no other human being should have to endure this rat hole ever again

The front desk agent Gina was so lovely and helpful. This place is very easy to find and near Cracker Barrel. Walmart is 2 miles a way and also a lot of eating near by. I was here to visit Mayo it was also only 9 miles away about 20 mins. Have to go back som more defiantly stay again.

This is my goto place to stay when I'm on the road. Red Roof Inn is just right for our family. The fact they are pet friendly goes a long way, he family not pet.

The room we had this stay needed airing out. Had a stell smell. Very unpleasant, the AC unit did not clean the air. However us the first time we've had this issue, other stays here were 5 star.

Red Roofs are reliable and consistent for cleanliness and welcoming staff. A great value for an affordable price.

It was ok for what I paid I would stay their again. But they do need to take the code off the TVs.

My husband and I along with our two pups stopped over for one night on our way back home. We travel a lot between SC and FL, this will become our "mid-point" home for all future travels to and from.

The room was so dirty, dirt on the walls, on the dresser, what looked like dried spit on the TV. The bed sheets smelled and they were discoloured. The elevator was dirty too and there were people sleeping in the chairs in the lobby. There are a lot of hotels in this area that were nice and to spend a little more money would have been a better idea. My advice don’t stay here.

The price was right for a weekend in Jacksonville for my kid’s track meet. The front desk staff was struggling with how busy they were. Hotel was fine but could use some tv instructions in the room.

During night number 2 a bug crawled out from under the sheet and onto my leg . It was disgusting.

Typical value hotel on the outside. When I checked into my first room it smelled of cigarette smoke and had ash and a dirty towel on the window sill. When I requested a new room they put me in the room across the hall probably “cleaned” by the same staff. The next room they gave me had used soap with hair from the last guest and hair all over the floor. After obviously leaving they refused to honor my cancellation. Do yourself a favor and skip this property.

We stayed here for the Daytona 500 race weekend. It’s in a good location and it was very comfortable. The price we couldn’t beat and I usually pick 8.0 or above all the time but I will definitely keep this one on my favorites for when another race comes in August! Definitely could use some upgrades to the bathroom and pillows and maybe new smart style tv but the bed was very comfortable!
