Holiday Inn Express & Suites Jacksonville - Town Center by IHG

My husband and I went on a cruise leaving from Jacksonville. We stayed at this hotel the night before our cruise, and the night we returned. The staff allowed us to leave our car on the property during our cruise. When we returned, the battery in our car was dead, and a member of the staff used their personal vehicle to give our battery a jump start. The room was clean and spacious. The bathroom had a large shower and included hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, body wash, and conditioner. The hot breakfast had every food we could want, such as cereal, pancakes, eggs, sausage, bagels...you name it. Overall, we had an excellent stay at this location!

Staff was very friendly at the reception. The room was clean. However, it was incredibly humid, despite the fact that the AC was cooling well. It was to the point that clothes I brought in on a hanger felt damp and looked wrinkled after a while. When I commented about it, instead of a solution, I was told that “it does get humid around this time of the year”, and was there anything else that I needed. I have lived in Miami, FL, and Charleston, SC, and I understand humidity issues, which is the reason we have air conditioning, so being told that it gets humid around this time of the year is not an appropriate answer, especially that humidity outside was not overwhelming yet.

Breakfast Stay a 2 nights then had to stay 3 more nights and for all the days we were there we didn’t get room service. I was told by staff that room service will clean rooms everyday and every time we came back we were disappointed to see towels piling up trash cans full. We had to put all the towels and trash out the last day it was not good. I thank they were short staffed. Not sure but will probably not be going back very disappointed. At least every other day would be nice to get room service. But we got non.

thank goodness to the front desk representative I was able to change my room the first room that they gave me. It had a very strong perfume smell every time the heater came on. it got stronger. I then got a better room an no smell. the breakfast should indicate what’s gluten free or not. perhaps add gluten free muffins

We were in town to attend a jubilee at a local church and spent little time at the hotel but it was the second time we stayed at this Holiday Inn Express and will stay again the next time in town. Staff is very friendly and room is comfortable, clean, and convenient to a variety of good places to dine out.

Staff was amazing. Room was clean. Only problem we had was Top Golf ia next door. The traffic and the music from that establishment were so loud. Didnt quiet down til around 1230. The woman who was at the front desk is what made this stay worth it. She was so friendly!!!

Always chops this venue when I’m in town for business. It’s convenient to town center shopping and dining. It’s also right outside of top golf. Easy on and off the highway as well. Management is responsive and friendly. It’s clean and well kept.

They replaced the A/C system. You can't adjust the temperature to your liking. It doesn't cool the room. Holiday Inn, if you pay for a room, why do they have to remove the A/C option at the temperature you sleep in and rest fully? I will never return to your hotel.

She’s patient, positive, passionate about her job, and extremely hard working. She truly shows she cares about her job, the hotel, and is quite knowledgeable.
