Karen and Jessica were so helpful with getting us extra towels, a shuttle to the airport. And so nice and friendly even remembering my name! I enjoyed my stay at this Holiday Inn Express! Also the pool was nice and clean. And breakfast was good with several choices of hot food!

The hotel was very clean and they had breakfast every morning. The staff was very nice. The room was very large and spacious. They had a pool and a very large jacuzzi. It was very quiet and right on the other side of interstate 95 there was every restaurant and store you could imagine. Everything is right there near the airport. About 25 miles to Amelia Island. About 30 minutes to Jacksonville Beach and pier.

At 2:30 am my first night there someone tried to enter my room, Thry had a key , the only thing preventing them from coming in was the door stop . I told the from desk to see if thry would check the camera but said the manager would not be back til Monday. I can’t believe that nobody is in charge when the manager is out. So pussed . When I checked out the woman said they would contact me. Still waiting. Also the door to the pool was broken so I could not use it z they didn’t get anyone to fix it . And none of the Tv stations worked Don’t ever stay here. I should have gotten a refund for my experience

The high point of the hotel was the breakfast, which was average. Check in was slow and not at all pleasant. Room was old, loud street noise, old tub/shower and antiquated ac that required manually adjusting at the window unit. Towels were Walmart quality at best and they provided the bare number 2. There was 1 paper coffee cup. The bed looked as though someone slept in it, wrinkled sheets and poorly made. This is the only time we’ve been let down by ihg and plan to not use them again.

Breakfast could go a very long way if IHG/Holiday Inn offered non-dairy alternatives for travelers at breakfast. Please, please consider adding oat, soy, and almond milks for the cereal, oatmeal, and coffee.

We needed a place that was close to the airport and this hotel checked all the boxes. Very comfortable, great breakfast, pool, we didn’t use the shuttle, but it was nice that it was available if we had needed it. Would definitely stay here again when visiting Jacksonville.

I must say that the staff was amazing. They really made me feel comfortable and stress free. My room as well as the rest of the property was very clean and welcoming. The hotel staff was very polite. The room was comfortable and quiet. The bathroom needs to be remodeled. It is out dated and the door showed rot and rust stains.

When I arrived at the hotel the customer service was excellent couple of hours into my visit they overbooked my room another couple walked in when I was in the nude I went downstairs to talk to the customer service receptionist he found it very funny I find it not funny it was unprofessional and inappropriate to be in that particularment

Very sweet man checked me in. The safe is broken in our room (we aren't using it, so it doesn't affect us) and the bathroom shelf is half hanging but everything else is great! Bed is very comfortable!

I reserved a room with 2 queen beds and got a single king bed. The dresser drawers were all broken. Vending area was poorly stocked. All in all the worst Holiday Inn Express I have ever stayed at. Will not be booking there ever again.

It was a perfect locations and the people were great. I did not have a reservation, but they helped me out.

Couple used plastic forks on the floor but besides that, the room was clean. Pool was kept up and clean as was the workout room. The free breakfast was better than expected and was the highlight of the stay. Staff was polite and helpful. Didn't spend much time in the room but a channel menu for the TV would be nice since there was no way to cast my own media to the device.

The staff at the hotel is excellent. The property is older and needs a remodel. The first room we were assigned was dirty and the AC didn’t work. They moved us and the new room was fine. Wasn’t there long enough to try the breakfast. It’s convenient to the airport.

Check in clerk was exceptional. George was smiling, friendly and efficient at 1:00am when we checked in after delayed flights. Can’t ask for more. Room was fine too.

The lady that worked that night dont know here name but was wearing a mask. We had to have change to wash a few things, (they have NO change machine). I went and ask if we could get 5 dollars in quarters and she yelled and stated she had none. It was pouring down rain have to drive to the convenient store to get change, we needed ONE more dollar( which was 4 quarters). She was extremely rude and pulled the cash drawer out and Shook it at me and stated she couldnt give me quarters, then asked what I did not understand about that.... place was clean but seriously that lady needs to go. She then was rude to my kids when they was Buying candy from the snack bar and was trying to pay her for them.

We traveled from South Carolina to attend the celebration of life for our veteran uncle. The gentleman that checked us in was wonderful and definitely left a lasting impression with our family Thank you.

I was there for 3 days. My family and I had been traveling from FL to VA. to PA. to NY. back to PA. then back to VA. then back to FL to catch our flight. All in an effort to visit family before moving to Japan for 4 years. Every hotel we stayed was fine except our last hotel stay at the holiday inn. The things I appreciated most during our stays were getting a hot shower and good rest. I was in the hot shower for less than a minute before it went cold as I was soapy hopping out of the shower to call the front desk about 10x no answer. I sent my son down to tell them. They offered a room change but that wasn’t an option because we had too many bags and luggages due to moving to Japan or we had to wait til the next morning for maintenance. So we stayed. My husband checked the hot water each hour 4 hours later it was hot again. The next day we literally ask housekeeping to clean our room and she agreed but when we came back after hours to an untouched room and needing toilet paper. Even though it says in the details on the booking app that there was to be daily cleaning. I give this stay no stars. The one thing that we all expect when staying in a hotel is hot water.

We had to leave before breakfast but enjoyed the room and comfortable bed.

The staff was great. I had arrived with my children late as we had an event to attend. The room smelled like sweat and wasn’t properly cleaned. We had gotten back from the event at about 2am and my children had fallen asleep quickly. The room became extremely hot and the ac would not kick on. By the time. We woke up we were all drenched in sweat. The air was on but would not kick on.

Staff was very helpful and competent.

The complimentary shuttle from the airport was prompt and pleasant. We arrived super early for check in and had to wait in the lobby which was more than fine. The front desk coordinated with housekeeping and got our room ready early regardless which was much appreciated after a long day of travel. The room is adequate: beds are comfortable, there is a microwave and refrigerator and the tv has a decent selection of channels. Our room smelled pretty heavily of mildew but it’s Florida so that’s not atypical. Breakfast in the morning has a lot of options: pancakes, bagels, cereal, sausages, etc. Fairly standard fare. The biggest “disappointment “ for us was that the hotel was advertised to have an area shuttle that would go up to 3 miles from the hotel. That is one of the primary reasons we booked the room that we did. Unfortunately, that is not the case and there is no shuttle available outside of the one that goes to the airport and back. We made it work but it was still a bit of a letdown.

From the minute we walked in, until checkout everything was exceptional. Jasmine at the front desk is a joy and is so helpful. She turned a rough morning into a great day!!! Room was clean and comfy. Breakfast was more than I could have expected and so yummy. Keep up the good work. I will definitely be staying again for sure.

Our shuttle was prompt. George greeted us with a big welcoming smile, and was very courteous and helpful! Our room smelled clean upon entering, beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. A bit of traffic noise, but mostly quiet.My husband sleeps through anything , I use earplugs and sleep well. Nice black out pull down blind on window. Breakfast was excellent! Two omelet choices, crisp bacon, hot cinnamon rolls lots of choices. We’re swimmers, and enjoyed the pool. Short lap swimming ( but it’s a motel ), we loved it! We’ll stay again,

Bed comfortable after room change as soon as we got comfortable due to leaky toilet. Desk light didnt work in the new room but we just dealt with it. Early flight. No wake up call . Probably went to first room. I got up anyway. Shuttle service to airport was good. Would stay again under same eary flight circumstances.

Generally, Holiday inns are well maintained, but at this location, I got a room that smelled like pet urine. IHG should do a better job on removing the pet urine smell for rooms before putting new customers into those rooms that need a little bit of time to recover.

The people all were great and for the most part the hotel is fine, however the room required maintenance. Burned out light bulb in a lamp in the main room, which isn't too bad, but the bathroom needed some maintenance. The shower drain was clogged, the shower head was broken and would not hold itself up. The soap tray was broken and had sharp edges, and the soap dispenser in the shower was great if you were 7 ft tall. But don't get me wrong this day was okay.

Everything was what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. My room had a bit of an old smell. I think the carpet needed cleaning. Other than that all was good. Breakfast had many hot items, fresh fruit as well as muffins. Juice and coffee as well. Good job Jacksonville Holiday inn

Parking was always available. I actually parked in the same spot right in front everytime I left and came back. Lots of food options and shopping within. 3-5 min drive.

This property was 5 miles from the airport, which was good. The restaurant options were good too, and two minutes away. There were no issues with the hotel, but we did encounter a roach issue, when arriving, in the bathroom and the room where the beds were located.

The Dove products were great options for toiletries. The bed was comfortable, standard soft/firmness. The tv was clear and presented different channel options. The little sofa was available in the room with table. Desk area provided space for laptop and work. The refrigerator was ice cold and the microwave was a great option for leftovers. The shower was hot all the time that we were there. The hotel is conveniently near expressway options for whatever direction you need to go in Jax. The hotel is close to department stores for shopping, a number of fast food restaurants, and grocery store. Lastly, the breakfast was good in the morning. Hot foods, such as pork and turkey sausage, delicious sausage gravy and biscuits, pancakes, eggs and otis spunkmeyer muffins. The cinnamon rolls were delicious along with coffee. I recommend this hotel as a safe, clean, reasonable stay in Jacksonville.

the property was very well taken care of not luxury but very well taken care of. It was close to the airport and all the places I need to go. The breakfast was top-notch and clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Outdated hotel, but not bad for lack of updates. Clean for an older hotel. Staff is not into taking care of guests. They don't greet you and in general are very unfriendly compared to other establishments. Worst was the breakfast buffet. It was probably good quality if they would replenish it. No Gravy, no eggs and no bacon. However, I could hear the employees laughing and having a good old time in the back. I waited quite a while and no one came out. It was 7:00am, so not close to closing. I had a banana and a yogurt. Yummy.

My day was a l overnight for early flight to Dallas that morning so I didn’t do much socializing with the hotel but the renovation looks good. Carpet is great room smell great great state.

Only spending one night and I’m leaving early in the morning Check in process lasted all of 25 seconds. Loved that.

I stayed in room 308. The shower curtain smelled like dirty kitchen rags. The fridge malfunctioned and became a freezer, freezing all foods that were kept in it.

It was nice in the first day but in my second day thought they’re clean find it dirty because they just fixed the bed but they never changed the sheets or pillowcases.am a little bit disappointed thanks !

Close to everything (restaurants, shopping, etc…) Nice hotel at very fair price. Nice pool and breakfast included. My wife called desk to order extra blankets and they were delivered to our room in about 20 minutes.

I was on the 3rd floor, and at 5:00 am I ran the shower a long time but never got hot water, only lukewarm.

Decent place to stay for the price for a night or 2. Nice and tidy but the room was a bit older..

Check in was great with Mr George he was so nice and professional and very formative about the area. We had a group and he was fast and sufficient with getting us checked in. The lobby was nice when we walked in and had a good smell, but arriving in the rooms. Some of them had a stale odor. I was in room 327 and I didn’t like the fact that the couch had stains on it and I could not get anything in the freezer because the refrigerator freezer has so much ice buildup. You can’t get anything in there.but overall my stay was pleasant. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stay. Checking in and out was very easy. Only stayed one night and we chose this location because it’s pretty close to the Jacksonville Zoo and the price was right. The breakfast was also good with a bit of variety and seating. We would stay again.

They treated me amazing. I had car issues while I was there and it was supposed to be done and kept taking longer to get fixed and this hotel was super accommodating by letting us have late check outs etc at no charge until I figured out if I needed to stay again. Only complaint is the pools were a bit gross the first couple days but then they fixed that.

I felt safe and the place was clean. Pool was nice but closes at 7. Staff was friendly. However, they turn the air off in the hallways at night and there is no air in the elevator, so it gets hot. The bed was not comfortable either. Little counter space in the bathroom. Overall, the stay was good enough for a few nights for the price.

I booked this room for an overnight stay due to plumbing issues at my home. The staff allowed me to check in early and check out late. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the hotel is located near plenty of stores and restaurants and the breakfast was nice. This hotel is clean is well kept.

There was no HOT WATER in the bathroom.
