We love staying at the Hampton Inn at Bartram Park because our room is always clean and spacious, the bed very comfortable, always get a great nights sleep. Breakfast is very delicious! All the staff are friendly, helpful, kind and professional.

Mostly a good experience. Everything is clean and the breakfast is great. There is a pond out front to walk around and several eateries within walking distance. My only complaint is the blanket on the bed - it was very thin and scratchy. We were joking that it was like trying to get cozy under a giant paper towel (the cheap kind). But otherwise everything was good.

Typical Hampton Inn breakfast - make it yourself waffles with toppings, eggs, sausage, potatoes, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, bread and muffins. The location of the hotel is excellent. Many restaurants and stores within a close vicinity. Coffee and tea are located in the lobby across from the front desk which is on the other side of the dining room from the breakfast. Not very convenient when having breakfast. TV channels are limited and did not see a way to stream.

After I called them 3 times about my arrival time, when I showed up they had no reservation for us. And that was after I had requested a lower floor. I booked it through hotels.com and had all of my emails and itinerary. It all worked out though. Someone messed up somewhere.

The water pressure in the shower was very low. The breakfast was very ok. I am lactose intolerant so there was oatmeal I could eat and nothing else. It would be nice if you could offer soy, almond or oat milk for those of us that can't eat dairy.

Our flight was delayed and rerouted so we did not stay in Bertram Park. We tried to cancel the reservation but by the time everything happened, it was too late to cancel. We did not arrive in Jacksonville until 1am on Sunday morning and stayed in a hotel close to the airport.

Spacious room and clean.

I sat at the front desk with my son at 7 for 30 minutes. Nobody there. Then the guy walks in holding a box of dominoes. I guess it is common to just leave a hotel with no employee or management to go get pizza. The front desk is there to ensure safety to ensure if anything goes wrong or there is an emergency we have someone to contact. To just get in your car in your shift and leave on a Saturday at 7 is crazy to me.

The room we received at this property was very large. We had so much room. Everything was very well maintained and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the price for our one night was incredibly reasonable. I would most certainly visit this property again.

We were not happy with the bathroom there. The water smelled bad and the bathroom smelled like urine from the minute we got there. We think it was the shower curtain but not real sure. It also took the toilet 5 minutes to fill up so there was no back to back restroom visits. The pool was dirty and someone did come out and do a 3 minute skim but still filled with bugs. The breakfast was also a little disappointing, as it was the same every day. We frequently stay at Hampton Inn’s and have never had the same exact option every day for breakfasts.

We really enjoyed being on the river and being able to walk the riverwalk. The front desk staff was amazing. The cookies were delicious. We did end up having to call maintenance for our AC and he was friendly and professional. We were informed they are about to start renovating so we will definitely be back. For being right on the river, the price was awesome for us.

Great service. Newly remodelled and looks great! Free continental breakfast with a waffle station, eggs, and turkey sausage for hot foods. The waffle station you can even make mini waffles.

The cleaning staff were loud while cleaning other rooms. We could hear them talking in the halls and through the doors. You could also hear all the activity in the halls between guests including doors being opened and slammed shut. Also the pool is a lot smaller than how it’s portrayed in the angle of this picture. It’s also in the front of the hotel in the parking lot. There’s no real privacy. Lastly, the breakfast was awful. The hot food looked to be overcooked in the microwave.

I enjoyed my quiet stay .

Overall, it was fine. But there were some problems. The fitted sheets on the bed are too small for it and kept riding up during the night. Also, there is no way to keep the fan on the AC going constantly. It will just shut off. Also, this hotel chain has an annoying policy where if you stay for multiple nights, they don’t clean your room. Not a fan of that.

Facilities were relatively new and attractive. Hotel was quiet but don’t know why these newer hotels don’t use more modern AC splitters instead of the hot until you’re cold getting blasted by the air.

The property was super clean inside and outside. When you walked in there was a fresh scent that hit your nose.

The staff was very friendly (I apologize, I forgot the gentleman’s name who checked me in) but he was so friendly and welcoming. The room was very spacious and clean. I stayed here for a massage therapy class and the space was accommodating. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a horrible experience checking in. There was no one at the front desk for 3-5 minutes. We were calling out for assistance. No response. I walked around the desk to look into the back and then the employee came down the hall. She saw me looking into the back and began yelling at me that I had no right to be beyond the desk. I tried to explain that we had ben waiting for a long while to be checked in. She was relentless. She did not want to check us in. I don’t know if there are cameras at the front desk but if there are I highly suggest that someone review this situation. It was simply appalling.

We appreciated how quiet our room was. No noisy neighbors across or above. I was disappointed in the quality of cleanliness of the bathtub. I prefer hot baths to showers, but I didn’t feel the tub was disinfected enough to sit in. Also, I found a small roach in the bathroom. Just thought you should be aware of those things.

There were some shortcomings: The room was inadequately lit, difficult to see even with all the lights on. The bathroom fan did not work at all. The refrigerator did not work either. We expected our stay to be better.

It was a very safe, comfortable place to stay for a woman on her own.

This was the noisiest room we've ever stayed in! 2nd floor--didn't seem to be near any mechanical areas, but 3-4 times an hour there was some kind of mechanical roar that made it impossible to rest, and the bathroom exhaust fans from the adjacent rooms were unbelievaby loud!

When we arrived, the reception desk was having trouble issuing key cards and the employee seemed frazzled. The hotel charges a $75 fee for pets even as it describes itself as pet-friendly. Our room after our stay was not any more soiled or dirty thanks to our puppies than if we had stayed without them. The $75 pays for nothing but a bag of cheap toys and snacks leaving Hampton with about $73 worth of clean profit. Nobody likes to feel like they've been fleeced but with a sign warning about guests not reporting their pets so the hotel's greed can be satisfied, it's inescapable at hotels like these. It's not a good look. When I started explaining my view about this to the receptionist, she literally turned around mid-sentence and walked away. There really is not reasonable justification for it. A security deposit would suffice to ensure that the hotel's interests are protected and the the guests don't feel like they paid for nothing.

Great service except for the included breakfast. The lady was walking around the service area, but unfortunately she wasn’t helping the customers that were asking for basic things like, milk, coffee, bagels, egg's.

Had a great experience at this location. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Although a fire alarm evacuated the property at 10:30pm one of the nights, the fire department arrived quickly. A microwave burning popcorn set off the alarm so it was not a drill. The property was clean and well maintained. I would stay here again.

It was quiet and clean. The only problem we had was the bathroom had issues flushing the toilet and the air conditioner kept shutting off. Other than that, you could walk to restaurants and be close drive to things.

The same housekeeping person knocked on our door twice, even though we should have been on her clipboard for checking out that day. Mattresses need replaced. Breakfast person was unable to keep up with demand; and one person in party suffered light food poisoning that day, possibly from the breakfast. Shower head poor. Other issues as mentioned by other reviewers- hair in bathroom, sink drain popup marginal. Front desk staff was very nice and professional.
