Downfall was pool was not in service 😩

The hotel itself and rooms are very nice. The pool and hot tub were closed and apparently have been for a while and none of the staff knew why or when it would be reopened. Very disappointed that was 1 of the reasons we chose to stay there. Breakfast was the worst that I've had in a hotel. Very limited options every day basically the same hard biscuits, terrible gravy, extra mushy oatmeal (dont know how that's possible) and very obvious molded fruit. They did have waffles you could make and cereal. All staff I interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and cleaners did a great job every day.

First room was a little musky smelling. Front desk was kind and gave me another room. Also smelled musky but better. The bathroom sink didn’t drain.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming. Staff, clean rooms and indoor pool. Hot tub was over chlorinated. They should have a pool company check that out as it can be dangerous but otherwise it was a good stay. We did have a view of a homeless encampment from our window (#222) but we kept the blinds closed. I know the hotel cannot control this. The breakfast was ok.

Hotel was very clean and well located. It was a great rest stop for us and our two dogs after a long day of driving. Breakfast options were a little limited the morning we were there: there were no toast or bagel options available, which is unusual. But otherwise a great place to stay.

Compared to our stays at other hotels in the area this stay has been the best! Very clean! Friendly staff! The room was clean and ready and even had the bedding for the pullout sofa for our daughter already in the room.

Staff was nice and breakfast was good. The website states there is a heated indoor pool and hot tub. The pool is freezing , definitely not heated. The room air was warm but the water was not. My children's lips turned blue and we were not able to enjoy it. The hot tub was also broken. I asked the receptionist about both. I was told this was the 3rd time the hot tub was broken and the pool was not heated. The water was kept at 72 degrees. That's really cold. Like going to the springs minus the warmth of the sun because you are inside. I was very disappointed as this was the whole reason I chose this hotel. I was staying because my house is being remodeled. I could have stayed in macclenny at the Hampton for 1/2 the price and in a new room but I was looking forward to the pool and hot tub. :/

The property was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. It was close to the Jacksonville Equestrian Center so it made getting to our horses quick and easy. We also had two puppies with us and they felt at home in our room. Our house keeper, Jerrica left us the sweetest note after cleaning our room. Overall, our stay was excellent.

Cleaning chemicals were too strong for asthmatics

Well, the location obviously was good for us because we live here and our AC had broken and we’re both seniors and I was able to bring my little dog. But I was shocked that it was extremely hot on the elevator. It was hot in the hallways. The laundry room was unbearable. I had to wash some clothes and our room was not very cool at all, even though a technician came in to check it. It still wasn’t very cool. There was a lot of extra dust. You could literally see it inside the air conditioning vents we were going to go into the swimming pool area we open the door. It was so hot in there you couldn’t breathe yeah you could probably get in the pool maybe and cool off but you get out and it was like a steam room The whole inside of this Fairfield hotel, which I believe is affiliated with Marriott really needs a thorough, good cleaning, professional cleaning carpet cleaning all the way to the curtains you could breathe the or should I say smell the uncommonness which could be odors of any word from human, to animals and just excessive amounts of dust they look nice when you walk in the room But when you kind of start looking around, you can tell it’s not clean this is it something that the maid didn’t do this needs a very good thorough cleaning we left, hoping we could go back home, but our AC was still messed up so we stayed at another hotel a different Hotel. I was absolutely amazed with how clean and the price is even cheaper. I guess because it was a Sunday night but overall when it comes to the staff Thelma and the other people have been just wonderful. The kitchen breakfast was set up just perfect. The young lady that did the food buffet was just amazingly nice and everything was clean up to par but other than that The cleanliness was very bad.

They didn't clean our room during the duration of our trip, front office came across like we were bothering when we mentioned it.

The staff was friendly. The hotel is really outdated. The rooms were really small. compared to some of the other Fairfield ends, i've been. The rooms had no usb ports and actually had a modem outlet. there was not a lot of shelving, like other Fairfield. the bathroom was okay but the shower. It was really outdated. It was a bathtub combination, it was very little room. The water pressure was bad and it made a squeaky noise. my last fairfield, and I stayed in, had a nice giant walk in shower with plenty of water pressure, very modern looking. i Probably wouldn't stay at this one again.

Overall it was nice except for the ac in the hotel room did not the cool the room off enough may be just a ac filter or something and they ran out of towels for the pool area yeah so for a over 200 a night stay not really impressive

The room smelled of mildew and everything in the room was damp from the air unit. The next morning we discovered that everything in our suitcase was also damp. When we got to the car, I plugged in my e-reader to charge, I got a warning message that it couldn’t charge due to moisture in the devise. Even the carpet and bedding was damp. Will never return.

Overall our stay was not bad. Buuut the light switches were not correct, the shower had a dirty tint to the shower floor, and the 1st room we was given the tv was missing so they moved our room.

Carpet needs to be replaced do to coming about at the door, walls dirty, Tub shower area needs to be redone, do to mold and seal needs to be replaced, had a reservation for three adults and one child, only had three towels in the shower in the bathroom

The hotel room was ok, I loved the larger televisions but the bed wasn’t as comfortable as what I’m use to and the bathroom needs to be updated as well. They charged $10.31 for parking. This was a normal hotel paking in front of building. This wasn't disclosed when we booked the room.

Pretty clean, bed very comfortable and fine breakfast. Biggest issue that should be resolved ASAP is there's apparently homeless people living out of their cars that park/sleep behind back all night. If local PD won't do anything about it I suggest hiring onsite security. Discussed this with front desk 3 times during our 3 night stay.

My bathroom was ok but the shower is small and dated with someone elses hair stuck to the walls and inside of tub. Tub and shower curtain appear severely stained and dirty. I guess this that "clean" here do not attempt to remove mold. Bed slept fine and the laundry machines were great, more like your high end at home washer and dryer.

On the other hand, the breakfast was awful. Although it was included in our stay, we had to leave the premises and buy our breakfast elsewhere. The bananas were completely green and inedible as was the honeydew melon. The sausage patties were hockey pucks, dry and hard. The eggs were obviously made from a powder. Just awful.

The place was clean and very nice. Bed super comfy and the room. My only issue is the breakfast… no very good on the food. No taste at all. Even the coffee has a weird after taste. Anyway that’s pretty much it.

We came in to town to visit family in the area and celebrate our anniversary. Staff was nice, breakfast hit the spot and lobby and room were cold just like we like it. Definitly stay there again.

Check in was very fast and friendly. Excellent breakfast on concern is the roof had a little mold coming in the corner of the room.

Waited 15 minutes to check in and then the desk clerk walked out and quit. Took an hour to check in even though I had mobile check-in through the app. Horrible service. We have a lot of visitors who stay here, going to recommend going somewhere else

Great location and facilities but best of all people were fabulous. We were in town for a funeral and will come back for pleasure next time.

No breakfast, someone didn’t come to work. They were late trying out items out. I don’t think I will stay there again.

David checked us in and he was great! Typically there were phone calls, additional people checked in and checking in and the guy waded through it all with humor and professionalism. Great room, no problems, got a couple of extra decafs for the morning in the room, all well kept very clean and quite full, too.

I’ve stayed here a few times, this time will be the last. I like how big the rooms are as I have a large family. I don’t like how the rooms seem to be a little dirty. Like I wouldn’t ever clean my house and say job well done with Pubic hair in the bathtub and on the floor. I did not like the website said that breakfast ends at 930 and then I get down there and the lady was like nope, sign says 9 and just walks away. That was pretty off putting. Our door was hard to close and if we just walked away without checking before leaving the hotel, the door would have stayed open all day. All in all. If you only care about space, this is the hotel for you.

The property was advertised that they clean rooms daily. After 2 days I ask the front desk and was told I have to request my run be cleaned. I requested. 3 days later I had to go back to crying desk because my room never got cleaned the entire time. I had to go purchase toilet paper for the bathroom.

Lastly, your staff has the audacity to suggest that this was our undoing for not using Expedia.com and that hotels.com has a bad relationship with Unfairfield Inn & suites. Get yourself together and stop allowing the customer to suffer for your mistakes. They lost a customer. If you’re staying at this location, there are 3 other wonderful hotels within walking distance of this hotel. I urge you to look at other hotels instead of the Unfairfield inn and Suites.

The heater/AC was very noisy

Nice stay. Dirty washcloth left in bathroom. Other than that, good experience.

Room was nice

We had a lovely stay. Extremely clean, great breakfast and wonderful staff!
