    The welcome snack bag was a nice touch. The staff at the front desk was amazing. I would like to give Kyah Kudos she was very welcoming, warm and helpful. We were in a room where the hot water was not working, we let the staff know and immediately they moved us to another room where the hot water was working excellent customer service.

    The room was spacious and the staff was pleasant. The shower was gross. Stains on the wall, shower curtain and follow of the tub could use a deep clean. The bed frame made of wood needed touch up paint. Chips, missing paint, scratches….all could be remedied with a little tlc.

    I had called and questioned the person if they charged for dog's? She asked about what kind...and how large he was. After I informed her he was 5lbs...I got the okay and the online says they allowed dog's...it DOES NOT say SERVICE DOG'S ONLY... So the charge was more than the room but i had no other choice but to pay it ...it was already dark and the surrounding area was definitely not where I wanted to go searching for another room. The bathroom.. most of the nozzles in tub and sink were about to fall off...and there was no guts for the coffee machine...I wouldn't stay there again.

    We arrived on Sunday around noon. There was no ice water set out, no snacks... we asked for early check in but was told we needed to wait until 3. There literally was no people at all around. We were allowed to sit at at the pool and ordered food delivery. No one at the front desk suggested we use the hotel shuttle to obtain food/drinks.

    This is the 3rd time I've stayed at this property and still disappointed. The room floor was sticky in both my room and my co-workers as well. There was a malodor in both rooms. It would come and go but was bad enough to wake us multiple times during the night. It smelled offensive. Lastly, the $10 parking charge is not appreciated. I will be in town multiple times each month and looking for a corporate rate and consistent hotel partner. 3 times with different issues causes me to pause and re-evaluate where I will be staying.

    My room was not properly cleaned. It was mold under the sink in the bathroom and that’s where they put our “fresh towels” ( glad we brought our own). There was no microwave. We were on the sixth floor. Had to keep going down to the lobby just to warm up our food. It was dust around the beds and on the floor you can tell it was not properly swept and mopped. It was stains in the tub. I expected so much more from a Marriott hotel. I never stayed in one but always wanted to. I will not be returning, especially to this one.

    Room was not as anticipated. Sheets were over the top quilt, no sheet on mattress pad. Room was 40 minutes late, and when we went to checkout at 3:45 AM, could not find anyone at the front desk. Then, over charged for the room. Not a pleasant experience, last time we’ll book and stay at a Delta Hotel.

    I liked the updated amenities and the check in experience. Also the bathroom was very large and clean. Having a large roll-up vanity and super bright mirror and roll-in shower was really nice to have, especially when it comes to ADA compliance. The bed was lacking any sort of bed bug cover, I don’t know if this was a sign of confidence on their part, but it made me feel skeptical. Also, the towels felt like sandpaper. I kind of expected more on that front, but I only had to use them once, so I can live. Finally there seemed to be a shortage of electrical outlets. My wife and I had to move our respective night stands in order to find a bedside outlet for our phones, otherwise, the nearest outlets to the bed was on the opposite side of the room.

    The staff is exceptional. Very comfortable. My bed sheets were stained and the floor molding for the entry area to the room was not tacked down. There had been fresh coat of paint on the ceiling I knew this because the painter didn’t clean very well as there were paint drops all over the floor.

    Overall the hotel was ok but they do need to work on their cleanliness. When I first walked in, the room looked nice, the beds looked good but as i took a closer look into things i was a little concerned. There was a stain on the duvet/comforter, the white towels had yellow stains on them, the tub was a little dirty, there were no bags in the trash can and there was a used, open hand soap bar that most hotels have individually wrapped/unopened. (Not reusable) I paid for a king bed and to my surprise when I walk in the room there are two queen beds. I called the property to question why and they claim they sold out. I was not informed of this when checking in and I paid more for the king bed verse the two smaller beds. I ask the receptionist to compensate me for the difference and they said they couldn’t do that. Overall it’s a 2/3 for me out of 5.

    My room only one full size bath towel when I informed the person at the desk at check out she sarcastically said well all you had to do was call down and we would’ve brought you some more back up as if I was trying to get a discount on the room. I was just trying to inform her of that so I didn’t get charged for a towel I did not remove. Main switch to the thermostat was shut off. Had to call down and figure out how to get that to work. Didn’t cool room.

    Beautiful hotel close to everything and my family! Super comfortable stay and I was able to connect to Netflix. The pool was beautiful and gym was great! I even requested to extend my stay and they accommodated me quickly! We did have a pet and they were very pet friendly!

    Parking was easy and the room was very nice and clean. WiFi was easy to access. The only downside to the stay was the morning we were to check out my room was accessed twice by housekeeping while I was in there. The first time they woke me up from my sleep and after the apologized I put the do not disturb on the door where 30 to 40 minutes later it was opened again by housekeeping. My check out wasn’t until 12 at latest and this made me feel like the hotel wanted me out on their time not mine. I won’t recommend this hotel to any friends and family for this reason. I’ve never had this happen at any other hotel or motel.

    This was our first time staying at Delta hotels by Marriott. We didn’t know what to expect, but we’re very pleasantly surprised. This hotel is incredibly clean, has a small café area that is more like a restaurant than you would expect the rooms were spacious and very comfortable. We will be staying at more like these in the future! The staff was excellent and service was perfect!

    Room was filthy. Dirty sheets and pillow cases. The tub and sink had hair in them and was dirty. The tub was clogged and water, drained, very slowly and pooled as we took showers. The hand towels were dirty. The refrigerator didn’t work and our food went bad overnight. There was no microwave in the room. Toilet seat was broken.

    There is an automatic aerosol sprayer in the lobby that sucks the oxygen from your lungs. It is horrible you almost want to run to the elevators to escape. I was charged an exorbitant pet fee after check out that I wasn’t aware of. So beware if you are traveling with a pet. The bed’s comfortable and the pool is nice.

    The lobby is heavily perfumed with an automatic aerosol spray making the lobby difficult to breathe in and I requested a late checkout but my key cards turned off automatically so my belongings were locked in the room and I had to stop loading the car half way through to get a new card making checkout even later.

    Very kind staff to welcome me Tiffany even remembered my first name throughout my stay. Pleasantly surprised quiet, exceptionally clean, wonderful room & inviting bed. Even the shuttle & driver kind and got me to where I needed to be. This was pleasant surprise for my trip to Jaxonville.     Hotel was nice but two issues. We saw the menu in lobby area so we wanted to order off the grill for breakfast was told no voucher we had to get continental even though we were told at check in we didn’t need a voucher. Next issue was pet policy isn’t followed. While on elevator the door opens and a two dogs barg in one was well over 40 lbs and you can only have one in policy my son is petrified of dogs and did not want to get on the elevator the rest of the trip because he was scared. Hotel is nice looking overall

    My room - the beds were not made when I got to the room at 9pm. My Son’s room - the bathroom sink was backed up with brown smelly water. Maintenance came to the room and tried to fix the sink, but to no avail and the smell was overwhelming. At 11pm they had to relocate to a new room with 2 young children.

    Had an excellent stay at the Delta Hotel! The location couldn’t have been better! Just minutes from MEPS, it made getting to the morning swearing-in ceremony stress-free. From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, friendly, and welcoming. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what I needed for a quick reset. All listed amenities were available, and the pool was refreshing. I didn’t have time to try the gym, but it looked well-equipped. Overall, a true 5-star stay with exceptional service.

    Front desk associate was a bit rude in my opinion… While i was using the lobbys microwave i was approached about what i was heating up & told that it would make the lobu smell bad ( i was hitting up a fish soup) I felt it kind of him to make a comment like that to me then to begin spraying febrezze as im waiting. I feel like while it is his job tomake sure that the stay is pleasurable for all… that all includes me & i felt very uncomfortable with the treatment i refused

    The hotel is nice with good amenities but unfortunately my room was really dirty. I had my dog with me and they charge a $125 pet cleaning fee but my room was dirty prior so it’s pretty upsetting spending so much for the animal when you never had a clean room in the first place. I also didn’t know there was a cleaning fee. On the website it just showed $25 so that was also an unpleasant surprise

    We stay in hotel often all over the US. This bed is comfortable, finally. Thank you for actually caring most important furniture in the hotel. Everything was clean and I love that cafe is there and open 6am. Very satisfied.

    We love this property being so close to St Vincent's Southside Hospital. Where I had to have surgery. Perfect location less then one mile from the hospital. The staff was friendly. I would say exceptional but one hiccup when arriving. We got checked in close to check in time so I could get rested up early for arrival of 430am to hospital next day. We received the keys to our room and proceeded on. When we got to our rooms I went to do my preparations for pre-scrubbing shower with chemical etc.. We had no towels in our bathroom. I walked back down stairs to frontdesk and I asked if we could have towels because looked like housekeeper forget to leave new ones! He chuckles and says no I knew when you checled in that you didn't have any because our laundry service company hasn't arrived yet today. Ok this is the reason I didnt rate the staff exceptional. A simple we will deliver your towels when they arrive at check in would have been great since that was the one thing I really needed to start doing my surgical scrub showering and the time it takes to do it all is couple hours. I would have been asleep sooner than I was able to. We paid for the breakfast not knowing we would have to leave before it was served! It looks like they had a pretty good set up. There is a restaurant and bar on site for those who don't want to leave. Plenty of restaurants located right close to location. The overall cleanliness of room was good. I am a sticker for wanting my room super clean but .

    Unfortunately we stayed at this hotel twice. Once on our way to a cruise & on our way back for one night each time. The first night we saw a stain on the bed cushion and on the sheets. They had a maintenance man come put new sheets on because I guess housekeeping had left for the day. It was explained that an outside company cleans the sheets. Of course that’s no excuse. A week later we had to return for another night since the rooms were prepaid. This time we looked at the sheets immediately upon arrival & it had stains again on the pillows and sheets. The manager was informed and I told her about both occasions in my short visits. She said she could not take off any money due to me booking through an outside party but said she could give me points. They again changed the sheets as well. I won’t stay here again. And from now on I’m bringing my own sheets, pillows,& comforter. Also the floors in our room needed some updating, they looked like the were coming up in certain parts.
