The room itself was mostly clean, and the bed was comfortable and firm, which was great for my back. Unfortunately, the positive experience ended there. Extremely frustrating stay due to a major front desk oversight. I arrived with multiple heavy bags that I hauled up the stairs, only for my key to fail. I had to walk back to my truck, drop my gear, go to the office to reset the key, reload everything, and head back up. This exact situation happened twice in a row and the second time, it was pouring rain. It wasn't until a new clerk looked into it that she realized the previous staff member repeatedly programmed the wrong number of nights. ​To make matters worse, the environment on that side of the property felt very rough and unsettling, with a crowd hanging around the rooms that did not inspire much confidence in the safety of the location.

I've been staying at this particular location for years now and this was the 1st time that I experienced a sewer pest that came up through the drain in the bathroom. Outside of that, no other incident or occurrence.

The cleanliness and maintenance are top notch. job! I was hoping for a later checkout, but I understand to get the facilities as clean as they are takes time.

They let us change to a little better room the next day that my mom could get in and out of easier during the night. The a/c worked, and I got extra blankets, pillows, and towels. It also had a mini fridge and microwave which was neccessary for our stay. Our stuff didn't get stolen when were out of the room. The rooms were flithy dirty and run down. Our handicap accessable first room had the toilet behind the door with the light switches to the bathroom outside on the wall opposite the entrance. At night my mom was not able to find or reach the light switches and when trying to get behind the door to get in the toilet, she fell and hurt her arm. There was no bathroom counter to put stuff on, just a filthy sink hang on the wall with no hot or even warm water. Also, as a non smoking room, it smelled awful of smoking.

However, the only room available at that time was a double-bed room. Since it was a late-night check-in, I did not have any other option but to accept it.

The hotel was nice and clean. It had a good smell. Location was good. The staff were friendly.. Nothing I did not like.

We stayed in Irving, TX for a New Year’s celebration with family and chose this Motel 6 because of its great reviews, location, and value. We were pleasantly surprised. The room was extremely clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location was perfect for our needs. It was smoke-free and pet-friendly, which was a big plus since we traveled with our puppy. The room also had a refrigerator and microwave. Great stay for the price. The room is not very large, but it was comfortable and worked perfectly for two people traveling with a puppy. It did not affect our stay at all, just something to note if you prefer larger rooms.

It was pretty easy to get to Very old and dingy furnishings.

The housekeeper knocks on the door at 9:30 and also uses her key to try and come in so make sure you put your safety lock on I don’t know if she’s trying to catch something going on but it’s weird this is the 2nd time this has happened & check out is at 11am other than that the hotel is great it’s not a 5star but it will do

Well the arrival was great but the had been broken into so I had to wait to get another room due to the property was filled next day come in then once ppl check out n get the room cleaned the. I’m able to move to another room it’s 6:30 an im still in the waiting process so overall I just don’t know right now maybe if I could get a three day free stay I’ll be ok about the situation but that’s all for now

Right off Loop 12 whataburger,waffle house, Popeyes chicken and a 7/11 are all walking distance from the room. Place has working washer and dryer and they clean not broken down machines and less than tens minutes away there are more placed to eat and groceries store and drug stores

No microwave in the room, had to walk to laundry area to warm up my food. There was a flood of sewer waste in the parking lot. Someone dog kept barking all night. The lady in the office was super helpful.

We walked into our room and you can tell the room was renovated recently at least within the past 2 years or so. It was very clean and honestly had a very good stay. Parking lot is super well lit so it feels safe. A good amount of food options within walking distance as well was cool.

I don’t think I’d ever return to this location. It’s incredibly noisy, which makes it hard to sleep. My entire reason for staying here was to sleep instead of having to get up at 4:00 AM and drive to the airport, but this wasn’t worth it. It’s way too close to the highway, so you can hear trucks moving all night. I also didn’t feel safe here as a solo female traveler. There were men just hanging out in the parking lot, and you have to use a check in window after dark. One can only assume the window is necessary because the risk of the hotel staff being robbed is elevated.

This was a great little motel 6. Our week stay was clean with mildly friendly staff. Waffle house and Popeyes chicken nearby. Whataburger too! Room was clean. No bugs that we saw. 7eleven across the way. Overall, a good place to stay.

The only bad part was the pillows. They were flat and not enough of them. They should provide more, but other than that, it was a really nice, renovated room. I will be back next Tuesday.

Rooms are decent with the basic bed , little refrigerator and a microwave. Take your soap and shampoo if not you will have dry skin. Location is perfect right off loop 12 easy to go north or south and east into Dallas. Waffle House is across the way with 24/7 hours service a Whataburger the same. Popeyes chicken next with limited hours and also a 7/11 walking distance. Am picking with where I stay and I like this location what ever you do DO NOT book the motel 6 across loop 12 it’s god awful trust me.

For the money I think it’s a good thing. Like all hotels I stay at I like to spend the first hour of my stay on cleaning my room. I have stayed at all types of hotels and they all need something clean. I would give my room an 8 out of 10. If you need a place for a few hours of sleep and a quick shower and do not want to spend that much money, I would recommend this place next-door is a Popeyes chicken across the street. There’s a waffle house on the other side there is a 7-Eleven and a Whataburger, very convenient to hit the highway. The area is very industrial so I felt safe. I have stayed at this place many times and I’ve never felt unsafe.

the hotel was nice, the staff was kind, so I chose to go back and stay again, however, I arrived early and had to wait about 4 to 5 hours after seeing the ready rooms and a lot of back and forth, I finally ask don't you have any kindness or compassion, my feet were swollen plus I had just driven about 1500 miles. they told me to cancel reservation and just pay a higher rate, I felt like that was a slap in the face, very unkind, esp. coming from the ownership I'm told. After staff spoke up from remembering me stay there in the past for extended time i was allowed in. This was kinda hurtful to me personally.

This is always the location that I choose when in the area because of the location convenience to access southern and western suburbs. I was only here for 1 night yesterday and found out last minute that I needed to be here for Saturday so I booked a 2nd night at this location for s great price point!

They changed the price on me and one of my brothers when we checked in then tried coming back after about 3-4 hrs of us being there said we had to pay another $25-50 my room went from just $99 to $175

It’s over 100 degrees and the air conditioning was not working. It didn’t start working until 7 am the day of check out

The front desk staff were not friendly at all. They were not accommodating, and wanted to demand and argue over the phone. When we got inside the room, there was blood on the toilet. The room was not clean. We ended up cleaning it and cutting our stay short. Would not stay here again. The area has a lot of food places around. The people staying at the hotel were mostly working people.

Check-in was easy and fast. The staff was accommodating and observant and without my having to ask, he noticed my leg was hurt and put me in a room on the 1st floor. I was there for 3 days and house-keeping came each day to clean and make the bed, without my having to ask or request.

This was my second time staying at this hotel first time great this time not so great lady at the front desk very rude on top of two dirty rooms plus the TV didn’t work in the first room in the toilet didn’t work in the second room overall my stay was horrible I never stay at this establishment again

I recommend this hotel as always. If you want a microwave and fridge make sure to ask for one when checking in because not all rooms have one.. besides the fact that somebody had their little dog yapping at all hours of the night right across the hall and not telling them to be quiet, this is my regular stay while waiting for my house to get ready.. the rooms are small but are always clean and you get what you pay for. I love how there's a seat in the tub. Just wish all the rooms came with a microwave and fridge

Tiny motel tucked away in a bad part of town. No box truck parking near by, I arrived early and got the only spot that my truck would fit onsite, thank goodness. No where to walk to get food. Transient people everywhere. Lots of lookie loos in rooms, standing in doorways, and watching me out room windows. Felt unsafe. No microwave in room or coffee service. Room had hard floors, not carpet and was very clean. Tub had cigarette burns around it, but was clean other than that. Well lit at night. Too much money for a 2 Star hotel in a bad part of town.

Absolutely amazing. Everything is brand new, fresh, and clean. Really safe area with plenty of restaurants and gas stations close by. The staff is also amazing. Really nice and friendly. Definitely my favorite Motel 6 experience!

We have stayed here once before no problems this time immediately the guy was judgemental of our biracial relationship. When my boyfriend went to do his laundry the man spoke down to him about getting quarters and making snotty remarks. Entire stay felt we were judged and not good people. Will never stay here again.

This is the worst place over ever stayed in my 36 years. The place is absolutely filthy, the smells in the rooms were horrendous, and the shape of the property was horrid. I get Motel 6 is not supposed to be the Four Seasons, but it should be at least as clean as one. I’ve never seen a place as dirty as this. The floors were riddled with dirt, sand, and just trash. They hadn’t been mopped or swept in who knows how long. The property needs to be closed and if not remodeled, a top to bottom cleaning and sanitizing is a necessity for business to continue there. The front desk had no intentions of making sure the message was heard beyond them.

Service was terrible…I over paid for parking upon the advice of staff and then they refused reimbursement… couldn’t check in so I sat up all night in my vehicle…both motel 6s in Irving were absolutely horrible!!!

I was honestly surprised how clean the room was given Motel 6 usually has a bad rep. Would stay again if in the area.

Motel 6 says "we'll leave the light on for you." This is a lie. Even though I told them I was coming in late, and although I had an Expedia reservation, they still gave away my room, stranding me !!! I will never again stay at a Motel 6. I will use Super 8, who keeps your room through 5:00 a.m. if you are late. A lesson learned the hard way.

The motel was very clean! Bed was comfortable, shower pressure was great. Check in was quick, staff was friendly. Only complain was the tv remote, I had to press extremely hard for it to work which was a bit annoying. I would definitely stay again.
