Cada dia tenía que bajar a Front desk para que me activarán la llave y el domingo por la tarde me di cuenta que no avisaron que cambiarían los escaner de las llaves y mi puerta no cerraba, no faltaba nada pero viajando sola es estresante. Lo repararon pero es un poco increíble que haya pasado eso. El desayuno muy bien, la lady muy atenta.

We arrived after midnight for an unexpected stay and we were exhausted. The staff was great and the room was perfect, clean and roomy with very comfortable beds and bedding! Breakfast was full and good.

Everything was satisfactory

The location is wonderful. It is easy to get to and central to the places we need to go. The breakfast was very very good with a lot of options and they were hit and tasty. I liked the fact that hot tea was available in the lobby all night. The staff were wonderful and pleasant to work with. Overall a very positive experience. The bed was a little soft for my liking. The refrigerator had a hard time getting items placed in it cold.

The room was great, breakfast was as expected and started my day. The location was within walking distance of the venue I was going to. There was some construction going on but it was a nice stay.

Location Everything else. The food was bad. Water leaked all over us from the ceiling during breakfast. Our toilet was broken. They didn’t give us towels, we had to ask multiple times. One of the elevators broke, making it extremely difficult to get up or down.

Clean room loved that they’d empty the trash cans every day my only complaint is the amount of room keys we had to replace bc the side door wouldn’t take our keys and the coffee & creamers were not replenished which was a bummer

The front desk was very rude at the beginning but later changed her tone. Nothing was well coordinated. People were running back and forth to get me a room. They took another family out of a room to give it to me. Sooo embarrassing!!!!! So I paid for two nights for nothing. I got charged for both nights but only stayed there for 1. I wanted to have a room ready when we arrived, that's why I booked it for 2 nights, so it's not worth it. I still waited as if I only had reserved for 1 night.

If you've got a reason to be at the Irving Convention Center, this is probably the place you want to be. The rooms are clean, the staff is attentive and polite, and the breakfast is totally adequate. I walked across the street to the Convention Center instead of fussing with parking, which was wonderful. Is it the Ritz? No, it's a Holiday Inn. But it's great value for money. I hate driving in Dallas, and Irving is no exception. The hotel exits onto a frontage road, which means getting in is a peach, but getting out usually means making a big loop around to get back to where you need to be. Not the biggest of gripes, but if you want to do much driving while you're there, you're going to get turned around at least once, and end up driving in circles.

Hotel employee went above and beyond during our breakfast (very delicious). We also saw her keeping the lobby and dining area immaculately clean. Great job Michelle.

Everything was reasonably standard relative to the hotel. Room was clean, staff was nice, breakfast was ok. However, the reason I rented this room was to have walking access to the Toyota Music Factory. I’m afraid that’s a non-starter. The only way to get to the Music Factory, Convention Center and area restaurants on foot is to walk part of the way on a heavily trafficked freeway/service road. It may look like an easy walk on the map, but it is not. We paid $25 to park at the convention center garage. Not what we had planned. Just so you know...

A short walk around 5 - 10 minutes to the conference center and local bars and restaurants.

I think when I went for breakfast, some one ( staff who has access) entered my room. Because when I accidentally came upstairs- my keys were working fine but door was locked from inside. So I went down to get the front desk- when I came back and tried to open the door- it opened. Nothing got stolen but I have lot of valuable documents just there.

Breakfast was amazing. Room was huge but hard to get ready in. Very small sink space. I had to sit on the floor in front of a mirror to do my hair and makeup in a part of the room that is very dim. Construction. Was advertised as easily accessible to the conference location. I had to walk on a busy street/bridge and walk around a canal. There should be a bridge over the canal for pedestrians. I ended up driving bc I didn’t feel safe walking with kids on a bridge with heavy traffic. I picked hotel based on location so I wouldn’t have to pay for parking.

The facility is old and while some spaces have been renovated, the lobby and breakfast area specifically, the rooms are not. Every outlet was loose. Trash cans had no bags. Rugs and lamps seemed outdated. Beds were comfy and the staff we interacted with were great.

We liked the closeness of the place to our venue. We were able to walk to our venue. The Biscuits and Gravy at breakfast were wonderful. I can't think of anything we didn"t like. Could have used more biscuits at breakfast.

Room was clean as long as you kept the lights dimmed. Once the lights were on the small coffee table had leftover crumbs and food. Unknown stuff on the shower wall. Room was on the first floor, and was humid. Even with the AC on the room was still so humid and muggy. I've stayed at other Holiday Inn Expresses, and this one isn't the best. It's older, and you can tell by the carpets and dingy hallways.

Wish the pool was open but besides that it was very pleasant stay. The front desk manager was very helpful to me and my family during our stay

I stayed here for a tournament that took place at the convention center which is behind the hotel. Before I go on about the issues I want to stress whatever I experienced dissatisfaction at this hotel they rectified and immediately brought to their attention. Best customer service ever!!! Over all it’s a nice clean hotel to stay at, the breakfast was delicious and filling, a complete meal. The night scenery is down the street, along with a verity of restaurants if with family, I’d highly recommend this hotel

There is nothing at walking distance as advertised, we have to change room twice for shower draining problème. The sofa bed (mattress old ,you sleep on the springs).And the worst is the room key that get désactive any time when it touch your phone , debit or credit card any thing that send signal deactivate the key.

The room was nice and spacious! They had dove soap products, that was a major plus for me. I’m talking hand soap, lotion, body soap, and shampoo and conditioner!! I loved it! The staff was nice.

Building and staff were terrific. Check in was easy and simple. My room had a small kitchenette and I loved it. I would plan to bring more food next time and use it instead of going out. Refrigerator and microwave worked well.

The room was wonderful! So many great features... the nightlight on the wall plug, the keurig coffee maker, little kitchenette, and even the hooks on the wall. Everything was very well thought out design wise. The breakfast was decent. Good stay!

Overall, it’s a decent place to stay. It’s in good condition. If what you need is a bed and a shower and want to save a little in the process, this place will do the trick. Location leaves something to be desired. I figured its proximity to the convention center made it a good choice for the price, not realizing there is a giant ditch separating it from the convention center with no convenient walking path over it. Still, not a bad option, just inconvenient placement.

Hotel and room were fine. The fitness center was much too hot, they said the thermostat was broken.

Clean and nice but was told that it was an one time exception for my son to stay there because he wasn't 21. Said he looked like a nice and good person. But I called ahead of time and was told it would be fine for him to stay there but got different news at the hotel.

I had a great stay! The service was excellent, the facilities were clean, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only downside was that the elevator wasn’t working properly. Other than that, everything was perfect.

I have stayed here a lot and will probably do it again for it being so close to convention centers. Usually everything is beautiful and clean and everyone is respectful. This most recent time the facility was disgusting. There were stains/spills on the tile floors and in the elevators that stayed there all weekend. We were unfortunate to have a room between families that were there together. The children screamed and ran up and down the hallway all night. It was a miserable experience.

Got to our room, smelled really, had to Frebreeze the room. It was super hot and the air condition was little help Huge wet spot in from of the AC.

Everything was excellent, the breakfast was amazing and fresh! They even had a pancake machine. Only issue was no direct path to conference center. It was so hot and humid. I had to take a Lyft to and from the conference every day and it was a 15min walk, but miserable in a suit and 90% humidity and 95 degrees. There was construction on property so no way through to convention center. Maybe have a shuttle for guests going to convention center since that is why I booked it. Everything else was great.

Great place to stay! Beds were comfy and shower hot. It’s a lot of room for the price. Definitely would stay here again.

Stayed here again on business. it’s centrally located, clean, has a decent breakfast, and the staff members actually seem to care about their jobs and the customers. Post Covid hotel Customer Service is hit and miss. This place is normal and nice. Thank you.

I wish they would have told us before that there was going to be some maintenance done at certain hour, so i could have made sure my entire family took a shower before water was cut off. Instead half of us were ahowered and the other half wasnt when the water was shut off. We were not able to go ahead with our plans as a family. Some left and some stayed behind. When water came back on we had to run it for several minutes until whatever was being done cleared through the water, first water was black them brown then clear which made me question if water was safe to shower with or even consume any fro. The breakfast area. Beds were comfortable, room.was clean. Front desk was nice. Again just wish notice would have gone out regarding water sotuation.

Front desk, breakfast staff, cleaning crew all were friendly and cheerful. Breakfast area was clean and food fresh. Pool was nice to use and location super close to Toyota fun spot: bars, restaurants, movie theater. Easy on off from highway. Building is a bit older, but a good value.

The customer service was absolutely wonderful, but there are certain features that were pretty outdated. The fan in the bathroom was disgusting and had a lot of buildup. Everything else was clean. Absolutely would be back.

To put it simply, this hotel looks and feels old and tired. The lobby is similar to other, newer locations, and the hallways and rooms have a nice fragrance. Almost like they use Bath & Body Works-type fragrances in their AC vents or something because there were no plugins anywhere that I saw. This could be a major turn off though to anyone who is sensitive to fragrances. Aside from that, the first room we were assigned to had major water damage. I’m talking ugly, bubbled, peeling paint in a 1x3 foot section of one wall, and several other spots around the ceiling and walls where shoddy-drywall work had been done to “fix” the water damage. I get it. Pipes burst. It happens. But being assigned to a room in such poor condition did not leave me feeling very confident in the management and maintenance of the hotel. The front desk clerk was very helpful and did move us to another room down the hall, however that room showed signs of shoddy repairs too. All in all though, we needed a budget friendly hotel and that’s what we got. The rooms and linens were clean, it was quiet, staff was nice, complimentary breakfast was just okay. I probably would not stay here again though.

Hotel was very clean including the room. Room was spacious with small kitchen area. Free breakfast was great. No complaints at all…would definitely stay here again.

No walk ability to the convention center which was frustrating as this was why we chose this hotel, we still had to uber to and from each day. Disability accommodation requests were completely ignored. Staff at the front desk was hardly friendly, with the night male shift worker the least professional of them all. Breakfast times were also different in person than stated on both the signs and the website.

The room was nice and very spacious, the beds were extremely comfortable, the only thing was the food for the free breakfast, yes I know it’s free, but it was very obvious this was food heated up from the previous day, i got this hotel because it was closest to the event I was attending as well as many others, however I do think they could work on the quality of the food and maybe don’t serve the exact same food back to back, the guests will know it was just leftovers from the day before

Clean, quiet and the breakfast spread is awesome. That is why we stay here every year for our convention. Easy walk to the convention center as well.

What I liked about our stay was the room. What I did not like was that it was too dark, and at breakfast, they ran out of some foods. I'm not sure why they did not know the number of people who were going to stay at the time.

Comfortable rooms clean. Great staff is a bit far to walk to convention center. Construction is over sidewalk so you have to walk along hiway and even enter the shoulder of it a bit. We ended up driving. Parking at convention centre is $15/day

Front office staff super helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was a bit lacking but the coffee machines were nice.

AC was noisy, used the curtain sheers to block the airflow shooting over the bed, Mattress was fine but linens did not breathe and facilitate airflow. Sheets on -too hot. Sheets off - too cold.

Got to the hotel and there was no parking available at all even nonparking areas were too full. So just from that I decided to cancel my room due to not being able to park anywhere at all. When I cancelled my room they said I’d be charged just for the day which was understandable. They ended up charging me for the whole weekend rather than just one day.

This hotel was close to all of the things that we wanted to do while in Dallas. The room we had was very spacious and despite being by the interstate, we never heard the traffic. It is also close to a variety of restaurants.

1) there is another holiday inn Express on the same road, so if you are not careful rideshare apps will bring you to the wrong one 2) despite being physically close to the convention center, there is no dedicated pedestrian path - the only route requires you to walk on a very narrow sholder next to the freeway, and the convetion center requires you to walk a super long route across the full parking lot. (Plus the Google maps will try telling you need walk across the freeway itself and go through locked gated areas). If there was a shortcut with a pedestrian bridge this would be an easy 5 stars, but without it is a needless inconvenience for a hotel intend for the convention center.

The hotel staff was accommodating and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Don’t let the outside fool you. This is one of the most comfortable stays I’ve had in the area.

Our stay was awesome they let me check in a little early which was so wonderful and Mrs Dee was exceptional and so nice!!! Breakfast was awesome and coffee was sooooooo good!!! Will always stay at Holiday Inn Express.

Noisy hotel that is falling apart . House keeping can care less if you're sleeping at 6 am . Even the door is loose and felt like it can be broken easily. I got a handicap room even tho I'm not handicap. Didn't even bother to change room because it would been the same room falling apart . Like why does the switch turn of the TV . I want to watch tv not have the lights on . Hotel is terrible

The location was great and parking was easy. Hotel staff was friendly and a very clean room.

Beds are great hotel smells good. Our TV control didn’t work that was all to turn on and off. There was a old water bottle under the bed :/. But overall good.
