Great Hotel! And great location

After leaving another hotel due to a bad experience, this hotel made us feel at home. The staff was friendly, food was good, the pool was refreshing, and the room was comfortable.

Front desk was very nice and room was clean!

Just spray rooms doe bugs before they assign the room. Pest control should not be walking out of the room as we go to walk in with our luggage. Makes one uncomfortable! Not unrealistic know they need to spray but guest should not follow immediately…base boards wet and what were we breathing in???!!! No bugs though!

Nice area, but not well maintained facility. The breakfast was mediocre at the best. They put me in a disabled person room #119. The shower head was facing the curtain and the water would run all over the bathroom which is a safety issue as the customer can slip and fall on the slippery floor . I had to use two towels to wipe the water off the floor . I reported it to the front desk, but she didn’t seem to care and I bet she wouldn’t do anything about it . Not impressed at all with the service.

Rooms were very clean. Beds were comfortable for hotel beds, they felt like they were new. Would definitely stay there again while in the area.

We really enjoyed this hotel located in a safe, pleasant and easy access neighborhood close enough to all places. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

It was located right by the convention center and the rooms I booked were close together It was under construction the whole time smelt of paint, we were on the 6floor and while our room was great and temperature was nice the room across the hall with the rest of my party was hot and the control unit was easily accessible with 4 toddlers. There was some sort of emergency that we evacuated and were told false alarm you can go back up to your room but the elevator took a bit to restart since it was essentially like a fire alarm no announcement happened to let us know we didn’t need to leave the room to begin with so that’s why I gave the score

The Breakfast and Pool were just Perfect The attitude of the attendant when I checked in he was gruff and ready to brush of my questions or concerns to rush back to his cell phone calls.

The breakfast was a whole buffet!! So many options to drink as well, the coffee especially good got me thru my day👏the room was so clean when we arrived! The staff was very helpful and nice would definitely stay here again! Also had a chance to get in the pool so clean and refreshing! Loved!!

Great location and very friendly staff. Breakfast is also good. The gym should not be advertised as a gym. Both treadmill and elliptical were out of order. There was a bench but no free weights, just six medicine balls. This was very disappointing.

They are currently doing some remodeling to the common areas. Construction ended nightly by 6:00 pm, so I was never bothered by any sounds. There was no inconvenience.

The desk and cleaning staff clearly don’t talk to each other though. 3 days in a row we got a knock at 8am trying to clean our room when we asked to have them come after 10. Really good breakfast though!

The hotel is in need of some Repairs. There’s wall papare hanging and smell of dirty carpets. It was ok for my 3 day stay. The breakfast lady is really nice and helpfull. The room was clean everyday with fresh towels.

I love the staff and the rooms. The breakfast is wonderful and the location perfect. However there was a safety concern. The door near the elevators had a zip tie keeping it open all night. Meaning non hotel guests could enter. It also appeared a bit broken. So safety is for sure a concern in the building.

I went to check the Hilton app while I was on break, while volunteering at a conference and it said my reservation had been cancelled. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with someone, to have them give me the runaround and then was hung up on. Luckily, I was able to book another hotel stay for the remainder of my stay,

However the man at the front desjbwas always occupied on the phone talking to his friend even during my check-in. Extremely rude. The breakfast is average as far as hampton inn’s go. Overall though, I would stay again and recommend it as the beds are comfy, clean, and room service is good.

My room was fine. Nice that there was a fridge and a couch. I could walk to convenience stores and Taco Bell. I didn’t like that there wasn’t an airport shuttle. The property is a bit rundown. Messy parking lot. Older rooms. Strange smells. Saw a roach in my room in the morning.

Unfortunately our experience was very negative. We got charged twice, the staff couldn't find our room, the carpet was soiled in room 404, the room smelled like a port-a-potty and the complimentary breakfast was not very complimentary rather very unfortunate.

Room was ok. The AC was obnoxiously loud. The beds were fine and cleaning crew was good. The other people staying in rooms were soo loud in hallway. And it was like nonstop. Definently alot of indian folk stay here. Soo maybe thats just thier culture.who knows. I wont be staying again for that reason. I just wanna sleep. The breakfast provided was pathetic. We just went somewhere else for food.

I do feel that the rugs and the furniture could be upgraded.

I don’t like putting negative comments about a business because this is people’s livelihood and understand that sometimes it’s just uncontrollable. I feel that we arrived at one of those times. The elevator was broken and thankfully they put us on the ground floor…and the gentleman that checked us in was just wonderfully kind..and was a welcome face after arriving late and a very long drive there. The breakfast area was clean and the manager possibly asked if all was good and the woman in charge of that area was just wonderful and that area was just spotless. My husband pointed out dark brown stains all around the toilet and floor the next morning and I asked them to clean it when they got time….and mentioned it to the front desk staff (and showed a picture of it) multiple times and no one ever came to clean it. The key card access to the exterior doors were also broken so we had to go around each time…we did scotch the door but our shoes just couldn’t seem to hold them open.

Front desk staff was probably about the best part of the stay. The rooms were clean, but we did see one huge water bug our first night and then a roach in the room as we were leaving. Other than that, the room was clean. The beds were advertised as queen size beds but were just double size. The breakfast was ok, but definitely nothing out of the ordinary or special. I did my homework and read reviews and was just expecting a much nicer stay than I actually had.

Check in was a nightmare! They couldn’t find my name even though I gave them my itinerary number and a copy of my confirmation. Thank God I found Sheehan? At Hotels.com that after calling the hotel and 1/2 later they gave me a room. After all that hsssle, everything was fine!

Upon checking, I was told we were on the top floor (4th) which sounded great. Then I was told that the elevators were not working but they were working on it. The elevators were still not fixed after three days. I was moving my daughter into college and had to carry quite a bit of her heavy items up 4 flights of stairs as we did not trust leaving them in the car overnight. There was no empathy or even any offer of a discount. Having the elevator not available and no sense of urgency to fix it seems like poor business to me, not to mention an ADA concern.

It's a great place. This is one of the best Hampton Inns I've ever visited. I will stay at this location when I go to Irving City.

I highly recommend avoiding this hotel.

It is located in a business plaza area. So there is not a ton of nightlife nearby. But I'm usually there for work, so it doesn't matter. Just a heads up depending on your stay.

This was the worst hotel, say, I do not recommend nothing worked. I selected this hotel because of the pool. A breakfast and a couple other things and nothing worked. They only had one elevator working, which made things very inconvenient and time consuming. I had stains on one of the sheets on the bed. One of the access doors was not working, which made access to the hotel a little difficult based on the room location. Did not encounter a single friendly, a member of staff throughout the whole stay.

Location was perfect for my business trip & room was clean. Property needs some attention though. Only 1 of 2 elevators working. Pool was a green swamp. Working elevator was slow and the control panel was secured with electrical tape from swinging open.

The whole reason I booked this motel was because it had a pool. When we arrived, front desk was good. When we went to go look at the pool, it was a dark green, cloudy, looked like it was full of algae. I would’ve booked a different motel if I would have known, the pool would have been unusable. Only one elevator was in working condition, and there was black electrical tape holding the panel closed. Elevators were extremely slow. Air conditioners in room, never cooled down.

The pool was absolutely disgusting. It was a brownish yellowish green. No one was in the pool.

I think we just came at a bad time. Staff was helpful overall. Main reason we booked here was for the pool so we were disappointed when it was down because the water was green. The solution was to go across the bridge to the Embassy for their pool but that pool was always busy. There was only one working elevator so every morning the elevator would be stuffed trying to go to breakfast. Rooms were good and well kept. Our overall disappointment was with the condition of the hotel.

The hotel was nice overall. Nice area, close to where we needed to be. I think the only thing that wasn’t that great was the front desk staff. Not very helpful. We called the front desk a couple of times to ask some questions and they never answered. I walked down immediately after, there was someone sitting at the front desk…besides that everything was good.

We were in town for a soccer tournament. The workers were very kind. Breakfast was good, my children enjoyed it. Questions about allergens were not answered as clearly as i would have liked. The lady at check in was very friendly. Overall would reccomend for others to stay here.

Sorry to say that this property has a roach problem and doesnt provide WI-FI on their TV. We were told by the front desk receptionist (morning staff) that other customers had complained of these issues.

I did enjoy my stay! the only comment that i have is that my room allegedly had 2 Queen beds, but they seem more like full beds.other than that every thing was perfect!!

Staff was fantastic but unfortunately the maid service was not really up to par. When we had our daily room service, several things were missed like the trash cans not being emptied or new towels . Water pressure was eh. One thing I really didn’t enjoy was there was no fan in the bathroom so it fogged up SO fast.

I had a good stay at this location overall. The property was nice, and room was great, and the maintenance, housekeepers were so friendly. They were always saying hello and engaging with us and others. The front desk people weren't the friendliest.

The lady at that checked us in was on the phone when she checked us in she wouldn't explain anything, she said everything was in the card she handed to us. In other occasions my gf had problems with the front desk they wouldn't get up to help her. The only ones that were working were the house keeping people and the maintenance people

My only gripe was that the pool could not be in use, I usually check in the listing of pool is open - and it DID NOT say it was closed, otherwise I might have searched elsewhere. Esp for the time we had available on our stay, otherwise it was a very pleasant stay. And Clean!

Bus stops and trams were close by and easy to get to place

They are making updates to this hotel, most notably the bathrooms. The beds were a little too firm for my liking, but that is a personal preference. Breakfast was great! Excellent variety with hot options changing daily. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Staff was very friendly, any spills were cleaned up quickly. Food was very plentiful and very well stocked. We will be staying there again

Clean good value. Mattress needs replacement and breakfast was subpar. The powder eggs and hickory sausage was the worst I've ever had. Fruit and yogurt were there for the save though.

Only thing that I didn’t like was the gym.

Everything was great except for the fact that there was no hot water the night before and the morning of my departure. And no recourse, preemptive apology or compensation afterwards. Ambient temperature outside 48 degrees- cold shower was no fun.😐

The location is quiet, and its feels safe. The one thing that needs to be updated in my opinion would be the restroom sliding door, does not close fully which feels like you have no privacy. Other than that the freeway is about 1/4 of a mile, and you definitely need a vehicle to get to restaurants and shopping centers. Breakfast was good and personnel all-around was friendly.

This was a nice hotel, definitely outdated but it did work out for the purpose I needed it for. The staff were nice and it was clean.

The only issue I had was the mattress in the couch lay away bed. The mattress was so thinned out and old. It definitely needs to be replaced.

A couple of things could have made it even better. 1. no plugs to charge phone by night stand - or plug my computer in. I did find one behind bed but hard to get to. 2. commode kept running, had to fiddle with it to get it to stop. I would have called the desk if I was staying longer but fixed it myself. probably just goes to the age of the hotel. Overall I got a good nights rest, a great stay

The customer service was so amazing. No matter where I was at in this hotel the staff would speak and smile.

We visited Dallas for a quick weekend of apartment hunting and this hotel was a great place to stay at. Pet friendly, clean their breakfast was above average good and their team members taking care of the breakfast were all kind and on top of their task maintaining each station refilled. Fresh fruit was the highlight.

2. Breakfast was ok, not great options. 3. For a room with 2 beds, the assumption is 4 people could be staying, but there were only 3 bath towels. Had to ask and get. 4. There was a half used toilet tissue. Had to ask and get a new role. I wouldn't be staying here again.

I love the Hampton Inn! From the moment I walk into the building I feel a warm and bright vibe! I love the “Howdy” on the main entrance with snow flakes! It smells nice while I’m checking in and the staff are friendly. I’m immediately felt comfortable!

The Hampton in Irving is our go to hotel . The staff is so nice. The breakfast contains a variety of choices.
