Nice room and break fast

My reason for not giving 5 stars is the airport shuttle service. I booked this hotel because of the included airport shuttle service. The morning that I checked out, I asked about my scheduled shuttle. The employee behind the desk told me it was running late and still at the airport. I had an international flight to catch and became concerned about getting late to the airport. When the shuttle arrived 30 minutes later, a large group of guests who had also been waiting, got on it. There was no room for me. I asked the same female employee about the return time of the shuttle and she suggested I call an Uber. I called a friend who agreed to come get me to the airport for $40. I had few options, so I agreed. I will probably not book this hotel again due to this situation.

Pleasantly surprised at how clean and modern the room was..included a full size fridge, cook top, dishwasher and basic utensils..beds were comfortable..

Had an exceptional time here. All staff were super friendly and the pool was very clean. My family and I will definitely be staying again in the future.

The breakfast was exceptional! There was a coffee machine that had several custom options, as well as a milk steamer/frother attachment--this was available all day! We stayed for 2 days and one morning there was omelettes made to order right there. There was several cereal options, breads/bagels/muffins/loafs, hot food (eggs, bacon/sausage, potatoes), condiments, oatmeal, chobani yogurt bar with toppings, and fruit. The hotel was very clean and unique style of rooms. The shower was very nice and rooms had adequate bedding/pillows for fold-out couch. The kitchenette was also well stocked. They did not complete my request to put the rooms close together. They had to move our rooms and they were still 2 rooms apart. This was not ideal but they owned their mistake and I believe they did their best to get as close together as possible. There was one staff member at the check-in desk that was not very friendly but the rest were and made up for that.

The staff and the shuttle drivers were awesome. I loved them all. My only concern was the pool wasn’t open my entire trip. The breakfast was delicious daily.

Room was awesome, staff is great outside of keeping things going at a busy breakfast time. The trash was too full and people had to wait quite a bit for a hot breakfast. Front desk people are great. We will be back.

The staff is excellent and always greet me by name. I stay here often and choose this for location, and the friendly staff.

I always enjoy this Element hotel, friendly,bery nice staff, professional, cleanliness is extremely important to me. Even this time I used the laundry room and I was impressed, it also was clean, my only suggestion would be to put better signs so when guest use the dryers they clean the lint traps also the area to add detergent can stand a cleaning but otherwise, all is always awesome!!! Very friendly and courteous staff. One of two elevators didn’t work. The breakfast was great. Couldn’t shut off the tv. In the morning the channel Chan had been mixed up wthe one in the bedroom and I couldn’t shut off the living room tv. The flight out was cancelled and we were stuck in a weather related DFW shutdown. I called Marriott on my card and the foreign phone operator I could barely understand. I had never stayed in such a Marriott. I had been traveling for hours from Bali Indonesia with terrible flight connections. I told you operator I had never before stayed at the named Marriott and it was an emergency to get a room. I took what I could get. The cleanliness overall was not up to Marriott standards. The shuttle blew by the pickup spot, never stopped and did loop back bit caused by an additional 25 minute wait due to the blow-by.

This was my and my family's second time staying at this location, and I would highly recommend it to anyone. All of the staff are SO friendly and courteous. The rooms were very clean, and anything that we were lacking, the front desk was more than willing to accommodate. Very pleasant stay and interactions that my family and I are growing accustomed to.

I have at Hiltons Hotels but my stay here was over the top.Kiera the desk clerk was very helpful and sensitve to my needs. I will now make due to stay at a Marriott Bonvoy brand. My guest rate is 10/10

The reason I chose this hotel was to utilize the stay and fly option. Upon checking in, we were told the airport shuttle does not start running until 6am. We had a 7am flight so we could not make it to the airport on time. Also the hotel is a bit dated. The frig had dents all in the front and the shower was in need of replacing. Everything else was OK.

My room waas huge, clean and very well equipped. The breakfast was fair but compared my usual diet it lacked vegtables and cheese. It had a nice joghurt selection though.

Room was lovely, nice and clean, shower was great, lots of space. Breakfast was good, good timings too. Pool area was secluded and relaxing. Staff very helpful when we asked for a later check out. I did get shocked by the microwave plug trying to get it to work.. Pool could have done with a clean, bits at the bottom and bugs on the surface (around 11am)

Even staying at the same time as a girls, youtth, hickey team, it was so quiet and peaceful, that i slept wonderfully. Definitely recommend for convenience and peaceful rest when coming through Dallas. We will definitely be back!

The first room they placed me in had no AC , only a floor fan and the phone didn’t work, had to go down for service Staff attitude, think they know it all and what you want. Snobbish

It's a nice hotel, my coworker and i booked because of the 9 of 10 start rating, but I feel that's very old rating. Overall a good start, but the room has wall damage, chipped and damaged furniture, and loose outlets. It's probably time for an update at this property.

Dinner dining was nearby, as was entertainment. Breakfast was incredible, there were so many options to choose from, and it was delicious. I would have liked to have had real oatmeal, instead of instant, but I loved having real plates, glasses, bowls, and silverware. We would definitely stay there again. The highlight for me was the lovely young lady at the front desk, Kiara, she made my day. She was so friendly and helpful. I'm so glad I chose to stay there. I wish we could have stayed longer. It was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities. It is advertised as having a 24 hour shuttle service which is why i specifically chose this hotel but it doesn’t. The shuttle doesn’t start until 6 AM so if you have an early flight you have to take a $30 uber to the airport. Not happy about the advertisement being wrong.

As far as cleanliness, the hotel, including the lobby and rooms were spotless. We did have a mishap with one of the elevators when we arrived, but opted to use the stairs for a bit, until the lift was serviced. The shuttle was also a major convenience, offering drop off and pick up service to and from the airport and many locations in the surrounding area. The rooms were very modern, and the amenities were perfect. The kids and I agree...we would definitely stay here again!

I only booked the hotel because my daughter and I were flying out of DFW the next morning and needed shuttle service. The rooms were clean and the staff at check in were AMAZING. Be careful of the breakfast. I drank the milk and it was soured. I did tell the staff and a manager came and apologized immediately to me. She told me it had "sat out" the night before.

Was advertised 24 hour shuttle. Our flight arrived near 12PM and told shuttle stopped at midnight..

Also there's a constant smell of mold throughout the hotel, especially in the hallways, but also in the room. Public areas look great and are cool, but not the rooms.

The location is also great because it's close to the major highways, near good food (and variety of choices) and also close to the airport. Highly recommend it!

There was still food in the fridge and ripped open tea bags at the coffee station; otherwise the room seemed clean. But it made me question if it was actually cleaned.

Price Appears to be updated but still seems like an older hotel.

First day front desk staff was significantly more friendly than end of our stay staff. The breakfast was good, way better than most hotels, and the staff that supported that we great. They do need do not disturb signs as they started knocking at 9:30 for a total of three times by 11. I understand they want to get at their job as quick as they can but there were no do not disturb signs and checkout was noon

The Element Hotel in Irving was absolutely amazing. All amenities were spectacular and the staff was helpful, polite and made me feel at home. 10/10 would recommend.

The front desk clerk said she would pass on my complaint to the manager. I asked if there was anything they could do for me because of the situation stating verbally over the phone and on their website...they did not do one thing to make this right. BEWARE! Hotels.com should make them remove EV Charging off website.

Really bad. The positive reviews MUST have been paid for. The area is a lot nicer that this hotel…don’t be fooled as I was. Hair everywhere, front desk sleeping in the back when attempting to checkout, furniture looked thrifted (in a bad way), dirty doors, dirty bathroom floor.

For check in, I had to wait about 10 minutes until the front desk staff could find me a room even though I’d booked a week in advance. The room was pretty nice; my only true complaint is that I booked the room for 2 nights, but we only received a total of 2 face towels and 2 large towels. Convenient to the airport, property is updated and clean. Staff are friendly. Walls are a little thin, so hallway noise/floor noise is easily heard if you’re a light sleeper. Rooms are otherwise spacious and comfortable.

I stayed for 3 nights the first 2 nights were good Except for the bed was very uncomfortable but after mentioning it to the clerk she immediately changed our room the second one was much better and we slept well.

It was clean, safe, attractive, and I was treated well, even though I was arriving near midnight, because American canceled my flight after having delayed it several hours. I was very thankful that they were available! If such a situation ever arises again, they will be on my speed dial!

It was all great except for the pillows on my bed were flat. I had to sleep with 3 pillows and they were not comfortable.

The hotel was clean and staff friendly however the air did not work on my floor nor in our room. Luckily it was one night but I'd probably not stay here again as a first choice.

It was right off the highway, clean, nice staff, plenty of room and quiet. It was only for an over night stay to drop a family member off at the airport but I definitely would choose to stay again.

Friendly staff and good value for the huge room!

The Hotel was amazing the staff was amazing. The shuttle driver greeted me while on his way out and he didn't have to. Doesn't seem like much, but i believe it goes along way to make someone feel welcomed. My wife use to be a supervisor for hotel housekeeping, and she said the room was cleaned very well. The only negative was cosmetics of the room (chipped bathroom door, cracked shower tile), but i think that just comes with the territory of a hotel. So no complaints, loved it and will be the first hotel i look at when needing one in the area.

Have been staying at this property for several years (since 2016) every time we need a hotel in the area love how nice the staff is and room has always been clean!

Wonderful staff and surprisingly varied breakfast. We were stuck in Dallas due to a canceled flight, but this hotel made it a pleasant stay.

The hotel staff was wonderful. They were friendly, helpful, and very professional. They were awesome! The property is a bit older but has had some updating, especially the lobby area. The complimentary breakfast was quite good. There are many choices for restaurants around the hotel and I felt safe staying here.

Just a quick one night stay before flying out. Very comfortable rooms - very spacious and perfect for families. Breakfast better than average. Staff was good not great when checking in but overall very good. Used the shuttle to airport and it was very efficient

Great location near the airport for getting out of town after the eclipse! Free shuttle to airport and anywhere within 3 miles.

The room I was in smelled like mold and the shower leaked on the floor so much. The ceiling in the shower was peeling and you could also see mold within the silicon caulk around the shower and floors and molds behind the peeling paint. It is not worth the price they are charging in my opinion. A motel 6 is better and cheaper….

Rooms in poor condition.

We were there overnight during a long layover. Our flight landed at midnight. The process for calling and getting the shuttle was quick and easy. The room was large, clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was delicious. I’d definitely book here again.

Waited a long time for shuttle pickup. No hot water in the shower. Room pretty cluttered. Pillows very uncomfortable. Other than that, friendly staff and very clean with decent breakfast.

Staying at this hotel was like staying in a dorm room, only a dorm room would have been better. Do not stay here-it's not worth the money! Checked in to room 227 only to find broken toilet and this was a handicapped room (which I did not book and I'm not disabled) with hand held shower sprayer that only went up 4 foot from the floor and I'm 6 foot 1. Went down to front desk and said I wanted to move because of those 2 reasons. They rudely advised (and acted like they could care less) the hotel was completely full that night and I couldn't move. They sent the maintenance man up and after 30 minutes repaired the toilet. The room was very spartan, very uncomfortable. Chair was hard as a rock. Sink was so tiny you couldn't even put your bathroom kit on it. Also, there is at least a 2" gap showing on the entry way door so lots of light coming in at night plus the outside air. Had to put pillows in front of it. I'm not sure what theme this hotel is going for but if you like spartan, overpriced and uncomfortable rooms with rude front desk this is the place for you. I won't ever be back

The hotel had a musty smell in the hallways and in the room. The window sill had rust stains that had not been cleaned who knows in how long. The bathroom room had scuffs and shower looked like it had not been cleaned due to dark stains on the shower basin. The mattress was uncomfortable you can almost feel the springs. Tge only good thing was tge lady working the breakfast buffet, she was so kind.

Property is old. Safe. Nothing special. Price fits the quality.
