    The rooms were like little apartments. Close to the airport with shuttle service. Clean, modern. We could hear everything. There was a dog barking next door, cleaning service workers just down the hall, loud music in the hallway.

    They advertise that they offer free area shuttle, however when I requested a ride to the nearest fast food establishment, which was a eight minute walk from the hotel, I was told that they only offered airport shuttle. So their website needs to be updated. Due to the heat outside I had to pay for an Uber to get some food. The staff was very accommodating and addressed any issues that I had. The last night I was there the AC in my room kept going up and once it reached 75 it was too hot for me in the room so I bought it to the attention of the staff and I was switched to a different room. The room they gave me was much cooler however a couple in the room next to me got into a very heated argument at last it for at least a couple of hours! Raised voices and slamming doors at one in the morning, so my sleep was disturbed. And then in the morning when I went to wait for the requested airport shuttle, I was told that the airport shuttle was out of commission. However, they were kind enough to order a Lyft for me, free of charge. Although the staff was very accommodating, I do not plan to stay at this hotel again.

    The location- room was clean Staff seemed not to know procedures my partner was locked out of our room Twice: went to front desk to alert them- took two further unsuccessful attempts to get in with two different electronic keys issued. Finally the desk clerk got my partner back into the room with Master key. She had to stay in room until check out. And the tv was missing the remote.

    They double charged us for the rooms. I booked two rooms through booking.com five minutes before we went to Candlewood suites, and then when we checked in, they said that they needed our card for incidentals and to charge us for the room because we didn’t get charged yet. Even thoughbooking.com says it was charged. So they went ahead, the lady behind the desk, and charged us for the rooms again. The next day we now have two charges on our credit card. We called Candlewood suites and talked to the manager, they were rude and told us that they did not do anything wrong and they’re not going to credit the funds. We had to get our credit card involved, and the credit card fraud investigator contacted Candlewood suites, and then Candlewood suites credited us the money back. It’s a scam and we’re really not happy with Candlewood suites. We will share this insight with anybody that ask so they don’t get scammed as well at this hotel.

    Room overall appeared clean but the room had an odd stench. The room across was very noisy throughout the night. I booked that room for a red eye flight and the neighbor across the hall was noisy and the smell of weed crept out into the hallway. It felt unsafe as a solo female traveler.

    Beautiful facility, Very helpful Shuttle Driver. Check in was the worst that I have seen in 65 years of traveling. The Indian General Manager took about 20 minutes for each person checking bin. She was on the phone to someone off site and kept videoing her house computer and talking to the off site person. I'm not normally critical of Indians as I have visited India about 20 times over the years. She seemed to give the impression that each guest was a severe risk of fraud and she had to double document everything. I will never darken this hotels cdoorwayb again.

    Had a very short stay here due to flight cancellation. Arrived at 10:30 pm and had to leave on a 4 am shuttle to the airport. Flight wasn't until 7 am but 5 and 6 am shuttles were already booked. Room was okay. One side of bed was so closed to wall that getting in and out was impossible . Crawling into bed from opposite side was the only way.

    I booked this hotel as I was boarding a flight from Belize to my home state of ND and because of delays knew I’d miss the last flight of the day from Dallas. Halfway during the flight we learned the Dallas airport didn’t have room for more planes so they diverted us to New Orleans instead. I called the hotel directly as soon as we landed and they would NOT cancel my reservation. I think in light of all the travel disruptions from Winter Storm Fern, and the fact I booked the hotel only hours beforehand, they should have made an exception to their policy!

    Very good hotel. Thick glass on the windows so you aren’t bothered by the light rail and airport noises. My only concern is that the second lock in my room was busted. The primary lock (deadbolt) worked fine. However some customers might be very concerned at this.

    I will start at the first night. Although it was an extended stay and had a kitchen, there were no wine glasses or Corkscrew for us to use. My husband and I ended up ordering one when we ordered groceries as there are no restaurants nearby. After dinner we wanted to play a dice game and it was only one chair in the room. When we ask for the second chair, we were told they didn't have one, but yet the worker the next day offered us a second share for a room as we were staying there for a few days. I could hear the people in the Next Room and it just was not ideal for us.

Our room was basic at best, heat / air didn’t function properly and there was an annoying buzzing sound in hall that happened every 10-15 minutes throughout the night. Shuttle service next morning took us to terminal she said was not an option…which was great but confusing! Back to first sentence…Do not stay here!

    Room was clean and staff was kind, airport transportation made it even better. Our flight was delayed 12 hours. This was a nearby hotel that offered free transportation. The transportation alone was worth the price of the room. The only negative is no on sight dining.

    Staff was busy speaking on the phone while checking me in, interested in answering my questions. On checkout early in the morning, staff kept disappearing, wasn't sure if I had to let them know is I was checking out but after waiting for a bit and calling out for some assistance I just left.

    Calling the hotel after booking, I was on hold 15 minutes before anyone answered. The person answering was curt almost rude. The shuttle experience was very taxing. We had to wait 40 minutes for it to arrive and then we drove around the airport terminals another 30 minutes. Check in was slow. The suite was nice and clean. The bathroom was nice and the bed comfortable.

    Airport shuttle was punctual, they drop at Comfort Inn too so make sure you pay attention. It was late and they dropped me at the wrong hotel and had to come back. Clean room, comfortable, kitchenette and full fridge. Shuttle back to airport next day was convenient and free.

    Both my windows were unlocked to my room, which was a little risky being on the second floor, and there was access on a pathway under the windows. I had to lock them. Luckily, I checked all the windows. Both windows were not locked. I think I was double charged Expedia charge me and the front desk click could find no payment and charged me as well.

    When I first got there they put me in a room that I learned was not to be rented out because it was under renovation. So my first impression wasn't so good. However, they did put me in a really nice room and everything went well from there.

    The airport shuttle quits at 11 and only runs on the hour. For a hotel 10 min from airport this is absurd. 24 hours and every 15-30 min or on demand in between 11-5. Not very convenient.

    I was checked in a room that was 80 degrees with a fan blowing as if the air conditioner was not working. He switched me to another room and it was the same thing. It was 90 degrees outside! Finally, the third room had an air conditioner that worked.

    The desk personnel were totally professional & did everything in their power to accommodate me, unfortunately, upon arrival for what would amount to a four hour stay to shower and sleep before flying out for a connecting flight, I was given two separate rooms, neither which had a functioning AC unit. I was forced to cancel my reservation and take an Uber to a second location. Also, the first room provided to me had several used water bottles in the garbage can.

    This was the nicest/cleanest Candlewood I’ve ever been in. I travel for a living and Candlewood’s are always hit or miss. This one was a hit. The only downside is there isn’t much around that is walkable but as far as the hotel it was very nice.

    The hotel was clean and a great location to the airport. What I did not like is the shuttle to the airport the air conditioner was leaking on us. The shuttle also stopped at another property. When we returned , I called for the shuttle to pick us up and was informed that the terminal we were at they didn't pick up at that terminal. So we would've had to take the tram to a whole other building, so we called an ubber instead.

    This place probably deserves a better rating than I am giving it. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable. That being said, I was not happy with my stay. Upon check in, I reserved a spot on the 9am airport shuttle for the next day. After carrying our bags to the room, we decided that the 8 am shuttle would be better. I went back to the lobby and changed our reservation to the earlier shuttle. The next morning, we discovered that the desk attendant did not schedule us for ANY shuttle, and they were all full by then, forcing me to use Uber to get to the airport on time. The complimentary airport shuttle was the only reason I booked with Candlewood to begin with so, needless to say, I was very disappointed. The hotel was great. The front desk help was not. I won’t make the same mistake again.

    Very nice hotel for price. I do not advise trying to use airport shuttle. Never showed up after lady saying 30 minutes,spent $45 on cab. Got to room, same lady put me down for 5am shuttle, got to lobby at 4:45, was not on shuttle list and was full. $35 more for uber. Made an already cancelled flight day extremley worse.     Little airplane noise for a hotel so close to the airport. Set back from the nearby freeway and room faced toward the airport, not toward the freeway, so no freeway noise either. Comfortable room with a full-size refrigerator in the kitchen. Very convenient shuttle to the airport.

    No AC. Thermostat had no batteries and they had no batteries to give to make it work. Gave a fan that I am certain was years and years old with the thickest layer of filth cover. Took pics sent to management zero response.

    The staff were friendly and accommodating; they let us have a late checkout of 2pm which allowed us to visit a park in the morning before our 6pm flight. The room was spacious and comfortable.

    Poor airport shuttle, only goes every hour, drives to another hotel before the airport, a 10 minute ride takes 30. Popular times are full due to limited seating. I had to go to DFW 90 minutes before I wanted. Will never stay here again unless this is fixed

    I had seen some very nice looking Candlewood Suites, this is not one of them. Avoid room 222 at all costs. It sits right above the front desk and right next to the elevator. The employees at the front desk were very loquacious, and their conversation emanated upward. This coupled with very loud mechanical elevator noises made for not a peaceful stay. There was an ant in the bed, and a black bug of some sort in the bathroom. Our room was never made up for night two. While the hotel is not necessarily a dump yet, it’s in the fast lane, headed that direction. Walking through the hotel you can see broken items, and things in need of repair. The down arrow on the elevator was pushed in. The North access door is broken on the ground floor and stays propped open, major security issue as non guests could access the building after hours. The check out employee seemed more concerned with talking to a fellow employee, and not wanting to attend to us. There are better hotels around.

    Like staying in a small apartment for the evening. Was so excited that I could make food with a microwave and not be charged. Bed was comfy and everyone was so kind. You get an A + from me!

    Nothing was offered, even basic water in the fridge. Missing coffee filters. Not staying at this hotel again. The shuttle driver to the airport was also very strange, slamming doors of the vehicle and not receiving any hellos or goodbye & thank you’s.
