Cynthia was amazing super sweet and caring!!! She definitely deserves a raise! It was all great the people above my friend in their room was a little loud the 1st night and when we was leaving the people above me was loud (stomping,pounding) but other then that it was great!

I didn't like that the dryer is $1.50 for 38 mins and my clothes was wasn't dry at all. Everything came out very damp. I was extremely disappointed to have to take home damp clothes in a suitcase back to NYC.

Staff was very nice. Hotel is VERY out dated! We were on our way to a family reunion and stopped here for the night so we had to use all the beds including the sofa bed. The sofa bed was TERRIBLE!!! VERY VERY old with dog hair, crumbs, and dust on, in, and around it! Yuuup...guest can bring their pets to this hotel and from the look of the sofa, the pets sleep on the sofa beds!!! Thankfully I brought my Lysol spray and multiple flat sheets from home. I qiped down, sprayed, and then covered every inch on that bed including the sofa pillows and the pillows to on. My son was hungry and brought a frozen pizza from the lobby but couldn't cook it in the microwave because the microwave was broke and wouldn't heat. On top of that, the stove was disgusting. Even though it was only for one night, I wiped down EVERYTHING in both rooms, living room, and definitely the kitchen. The staff was very nice and the location we were in was amazing but I will NOT be staying there again!!!

We loved the rooms and the stay. Our room didn’t have a working shower but once we spoke to the front desk, they changed the room with no problem at all.

I will visit this hotel every time I come to this area simply because of the wonderful friendly staff. Cynthia in the breakfast room was one of the sweetest people I've ever met in my life. I will come back there specifically to see her.

Old disfigured sleep sofa

The staff was excellent & was able to work with me to better fit my pets needs. The bed was not that comfy & noticed hair on the pillows. The microwave handle was broken. The curtains didn’t close all the way. Overall, It was okay for a one night stay, but would not stay here again.

This place was solid overall. Shower water pressure was amazing. The only downside was the fire alarm went off once at 7pm and then again at 7am the next morning. Just tedious since it took over a minute to turn off what were both false alarms.

Yes, when I let the front desk know about ants in the bed, counter and overall room I was not compensated for the inconvenience. The next day I was told that smoke was coming from my room. I offered the manager to come into the room for inspection he

Served our purpose in staying one night in the lake Norman/birkdake area but a bit expensive. Rooms dated but ok. USB ports next to bed didn’t work for me. A steep $100 fee for dogs accidentally double charged but front desk staff, who were super nice, took it off when notified.

Very noisy

The location was great, but getting there was a nightmare. The traffic was absolutely horrible. Once we got near the hotel it was okay. I thought the room and location were great. The outside door closest to our room was not working so it made getting there a hassle but it wasn't the end of the world.

Location. Also I love residence inn for the space and microwave and full size refrigerator This was not our normal Residence Inn experience. The room smelled bad the basin drained very slowly. The faucet was switched around so hot was cold and cold was hot. The Aircon was very loud and the icemaker in the refrigerator didn’t work but kept making loud noises.

I did not get breakfast at the hotel. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was more than adequate for one person. It was clean and comfortable. n/a I was very satisfied with the accommodations.

AC compressor unit at the foot of the bed made more noise than it did cooling. Could not hear anything at all well after the toilet has been flushed I asked about all of my complaints and I was told all of the rooms are like that.

The properties location for visiting family members was convenient. The manager was very rude and not helpful. The manager made excuses for everything. He seemed uninterested in doing anything to fix any problems. The properties cleaning schedule of cleaning every other day was inconvenient. Even when the suite, room 208 was so called cleaned it was not. No toilet paper in one bathroom and just a feeling of a poorly managed hotel. It was like they couldn’t get just the basics right. Like the countertops in the kitchen area not wiped down. Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again.

We took a family trip..there are restaurants in close proximity and stores. All within two mins of the suites..urban air sports is in walking distance..great place for family trips..family of four fit perfect with plenty of space..very quiet and peaceful during resting hours..we were very pleased❤️ and would definitely come back to this location.

Room was gross. Ripped carpeting, kitchen cabinets falling apart, cigarette butts everywhere at the entrances. This is in a ver upscale are but the property is not being maintained. Payed top dollar and got the minimum. Breakfast was ok, not worth the money. Stay somewhere else

I posted a Google review as well on the Marriott property direct. My complaint was about excessive noise from air handler in closet inside my room (locked). Mold smell when air was running, water stains on ceiling. Stop giving this room out. (Rm 224). Terrible experience @ a high price

The area and location was beautiful. In the room the carpet was frayed and there was spider webs and the jacuzzi was broken. The grab and go breakfast was very limited.

The staff here is amazing! However they allow pets and the stench is awful. I had to light candles and keep the air set low. I could hear dogs barking in the middle of the night. The people above me decided to have a party over in the morning and I had work the next day.

Front desk was able to suggest many local places for dinner and were knowledgeable about the area! This hotel hides in plain site and you can miss it easily! Clean rooms, the only negative, my wife said the bed was too firm! I slept fine!

Under construction--a mess.could'nt get enough pillows for family of 4. And lousy breakfast. Location however was fabulous.

Hotel second floor was under construction but we barely heard a sound on third. Decent breakfast in the morning. Lovely staff people. They have a pool table but bring your own cue and chalk. There is a great burger joint and a cute ice cream place within a five minute walk. We actually asked for the quietest room they could give us so they put us as far from the elevator as you could get. Not terribly convenient for the whole luggage thing, but definitely quiet!

Also when your neighbors flush their toilets, you can hear it. And they aren't quiet. I wouldn't recommend this hotel until construction is done. Fire alarm went off at 7am on Saturday from one of the guys working. If I didn't have to be up, I would have been very upset. Between that and the symphony of toilets running, I would stay elsewhere.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights while waiting for our furniture to arrive. The bed was really comfortable and looked pretty new too. The rooms were very clean and in great condition. The breakfast was great. Lots to choose from - cereal, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, eggs, roasted potatoes, waffles, juices, coffees, teas. The staff was very nice and quick to respond to requests. Great area too - safe and clean. There are a lot of shops and restaurants within 1/4 mile too.

the shower rod was barely attached to the walls and alarmingly sagged. there was no cold water in the kitchen or air conditioning in the halls. the location was quiet and not too far from the interstate.
