This hotel is very well kept. The room we were in was clean and the bed is very comfortable. I was also impressed that they have hand wash in the bathroom because I usually have to pack my own. Over all, I strongly recommend this hotel if you're stopping in the area.

Room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable, quiet room, overall nice stay, we got in after midnight and the shower handle was stripped out and couldn’t get water on, found a way to make it work the next morning, but wished someone would have identified the problem and fixed it before we arrived, I would stay again some things just happen and can’t be helped I guess

The facility was clean. Rooms were very nice. Comfortable beds. "Hot breakfast" was skimpy with 2 items which were dry and overcooked. Did have waffles and cold cereal (no milk). Person managing breakfast was not friendly.

This stay was awful. The first room I had the door didn't lock. None of the key cards worked (maybe an issue with the machine) so a staff member had to let us back in the room every time we wanted to leave. The bathroom, though it looked clean, had a horrible rancid smell.

On the night I checked in (we stayed for a weekend.) the guy checking us in was super busy and asked for a card and I just assumed it was for incidentals. We wake up Saturday morning and see that there is a $309 hold from the hotel!We paid 274 through booking. I had my receipt days prior and bank had already released it. So the 309 hold we knew was from hotel trying to double charge usI. I spoke with several front desk guys and they were all super nice they could see the issue and that it was an accident on their behalf. They said it was gonna be taken care of but they couldn’t fix it till we checked out. This morning as I was checking out the lady who checked us out said that they did not get the money from booking ( wrong) so I showed her my receipt so then her demenor changed but we get our receipt and she made sure she charged us $36 for what Idk i guess she wanted us to pay her rate? I don’t think they should use third-party booking if they’re not gonna honor it and try to save people don’t pay for it I’ve never had this problem with booking before with a third party and we travel a-lot for sports! Other than this we stay was decent, hotel was clean and all other staff were friendly and attentive!

Convenient location. Room was clean. However, there were several maintenance items which could have been addressed. Breakfast is not included in the cost of the room. It would be one thing if the breakfast was elevated in some way from the typical continental breakfast option, but I don't personally see the value in charging $10 for a mediocre breakfast.

The AC / heater in the room & the bathroom fan/light were very noisy. I tried to use the fan switch to use the mirror light but the fan made a loud buzzing sound. Everything else was great!

Bonita was so kind and welcoming, a truly needed aspect of our experience since the rest wasn’t great. The hotel is very dusty and worn down and the staff the following day was quite rude. All of us we woken up by staff having very loud personal conversations with the “staff only” door open right outside our room for hours starting at 7 am, front desk was curt & couldnt be bothered to greet us or smile and our door was pounded on by a random man asking when we were leaving when we’d already called to have our check out extended. We won’t stay again but hope Bonita finds a place worth her great nature!

I got to this property on 10/25 late at night after driving for hours for the receptionist to cancel my room because I wasn’t the “highest member” of Marriott. It was such an inconvenience having to be canceled once I got the the property instead of them calling prior to driving hours! Worse experience with Marriott

The rooms are small. The light in the microwave stayed on the entire time. The AC did not come on until we turned it down to 64 degrees, then we were freezing. They allow people to hang around outside. The elevators don’t work. I could continue, but I’ll stop there.

What a bad experience! Made a reservation through Expedia.com. At check in, I told the rep that I had a reservation and was checking in. I was told about the $50 hold for incidentals and was asked to swipe my card. Something told me to check my online bank card. I had a Expedia charge, a hotel charge and an incidental charge on hold. When I asked the front desk why I being charge again for the one room hotel night, she said she did not realize I was charged by Expedia and that I had to wait for a manager to correct it in the morning. I was told several times that I had to pay $9.99 for breakfast although my Expedia package included breakfast. Arrived for breakfast at 9:10. All food trays were empty and there only a 1/2 cup of coffee to be pulled. After waiting several minutes, I knocked on the staff/kitchen door asking were they going to be refilling the trays. The one person kitchen staff was jumping loops to get all the trays refilled. Meanwhile, I went to the front desk asking for coffee. The front desk staff jumped loops to make coffee for the front desk area and the dining area because both containers were empty. Frustration got the best of me because the wait was long and even when the trays of food was filled, by time I got to them, the trays were empty again because there was one table with a family of about 10 people that grabbed all the food. They were greedy and inconsiderate. I complained to the front desk staff and ask the kitchen staff to make more food again.

The staff was amazing and a very clean hotel. We enjoyed our stay! The location is amazing 0.5 miles from Birkdale Village with lots of shopping, restaurants, and live music. It is also a mile from Lake Norman and 10 minutes from the Huntersville Aquatic Center. Great hotel and a great location! There is a pool but no hot tub.

The room was very small. The bathroom door needs to be closed all the way - if not, it will eventually open all the way and the entry door to the room will slam into it when coming back. There was mold in the shower. The shower door leaked onto the bathroom floor because the shower door did not close properly. No one tells you that you need to request your room to be cleaned so we were constantly running out of towels (needed more towels to help the leaking shower situation). No hooks to dry the limited towels we were given. No ice machine on the 3rd floor. The bedding was terrible, felt like sleeping on straw - the pillows smelled of mildew.

I loved my stay here and everyone was so helpful and friendly. I had an extended stay due to some unfortunate circumstances with my place getting ready, but they made it a very pleasant time. You won’t regret staying here at all!

When I got to the room it was a room connected to another and since I was solo I did not want to be connected. I requested another room and was able to relocate with no issues. Was great except the heater fan noisy couldn’t sleep. The pool heater wasn’t working water was very cold but hopefully that will be fixed before our next visit.

We asked the front desk and they said it was only going to be open Mon thru Thursday and were suprised it was not open Friday. There was no explanation why. It did have the breakfast buffett. I took off a star because The breakfast that’s offered does not match the cost. I’ve had better breakfast at 2.5-3 star restaurants which offers the same exact menu.

This community was old and outdated. MARRIOTT and Sheraton should’ve never taken this property over without getting it and starting over there was mold and mildew throughout the hallway and in my bathroom we found a very large cockroach early in the morning staff was exceptional. I will never stay at this property again.

We stayed on the night of May 10th and the gentleman at the front desk to check us in after 9:30pm should be recognized and be selected for the next open manager position quickly. We watched him represent Four Seasons with a high level of professionalism and integrity. Multiple guests were in awe of his calm demeanor, speed and thoroughness as he addressed each need. Called hotel prior to arrival no returned calls from Melissa. Rooms with paper thin walls. No sleep due to loud neighbors. Asked for adjoining rooms. Was told all room were adjoining but they weren’t. No bathtub for bathing children. Room smelled. Bed cover had lipstick.

Called hotel prior to arrival no returned calls from Melissa. Rooms with paper thin walls. No sleep due to loud neighbors. Asked for adjoining rooms. Was told all room were adjoining but they weren’t. No bathtub for bathing children. Room smelled. Bed cover had lipstick.

The first night was great, however, the second night was horrible. Some strage nosie started in the room beside us. It sounded similar to a washing machine that had unevenly distributed clothes. The awful bang noise went from early morning, prior to 5 am, untill we checked out. I called the front desk to get assistance and they said they would look into it. Well that wasn't effective. I got 3 hours sleep and had to function all day. At check out, the lady said they came up and heard the noise also. She said she couldn't refund that night because of how it was booked. It shouldn't matter how it was booked to be refunded or gift card could have been issued. I like this location because it's close to some of our favorite places, but not on the main road.

Not recommended at all. Staff was friendly and helpful but maintenance was terrible! Sorry we paid so much price for stay which was not pleasant at all.

How about hotels let you know about this in advance, OR make arrangements with a neighboring hotel for guests to use their indoor pool. At shower time, ALL the shampoo, conditioner and body wash cannisters were empty. Not just one, but all. Front desk representative was helpful and placed products in cups for us. Terrible night of sleep when air conditioner kept turning off and room was HOT. Miserable stay all around. Hotel staff was friendly, but very limited in what they could do to help with our issues.

A bit outdated and definitely noisy due to highway being nearby. Having a room right beside an ice maker doesn't help the noise level either. Overall an B- hotel but convenient to Birkdale Village.

Our stay was ok except for one thing. Service, terrible service. We stayed four nights and our beds weren’t made ever. The only time we got fresh towels was after day two when I complained at the front desk. They still didn’t make the beds: Wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

It's set up to accommodate up to four guests in the room, but apparently only one of those four people gets to not throw their towel on the floor after using it? Obviously, the staff has no control over that, but maybe next renovation you all can fix that. Also, while the shower was lovely and clean, I was grateful I didn't have an infant or small child with me because bathing a small child in the sink would have been annoying and a shower-only bathroom isn't particularly convenient.

It was a nice place to stay for work. They were VERY nice and I really enjoyed my stay. Its right down the street from Birkdale Village, which has everything you need.

The property is very clean and cozy . They have a very inviting lobby and the front desk is so nice and friendly . She was so helpful and kind and made suggestions in the area to visit . It’s close to a lot of restaurants and shopping mall a few miles away . The rooms were clean and the bedding was very comfortable . They also have a breakfast in the mornings . It was a very pleasant stay .

We checked in the ladies at the front desk were very friendly. We had an issue with the remote not working they fixed it immediately. We noticed a large group of kids hanging out in the lobby. They were a little noisy but it was the middle of the afternoon not an issue. It became an issue around 10 pm that evening. I called the front desk to complain about the noise. They said they would take care of it. The noise continued to mid night. We were on the first floor in not sure why the group wasn't reprimanded and require to go to their rooms or outside. I've stayed at plenty of nice hotels with large children groups and I've never experienced anything like this

Did not clean room as requested and left used coffee packages next to machine and did not replenish coffee so I went without morning coffee. Room air-conditioner was extremely noisy, had a high pitch whining sound. The windows are single pane and you can hear massive street (carrs, trucks, motorcycles) thru the night inpeading sleep. If you stay here don't stay to the rear of the hotel. Maybe the front is better as my business partner had no complaint about the noise. Also, the doors are thin and you can hear the hallway noise so stay away from the elevators!

My stay was nice an the staff was very friendly but my only concern was that the shower area wasn’t cleaned very well it was hair left all over the shower floor and walls and the carpet is due for a shampoo cleaning other than that I had a good stay.

The HVAC system was not designed to allow the fan to run continuously for air circulation. The lighting in the bathroom was insufficient to shave. The alarm clock was still on DST (and I could not figure out how to change the time.) The black out and sheer shades were remotely controlled, and this was not immediately evident. The control for the sheer shade was inoperable.
