    Breakfast and coffee in the morning was terrible! Literally took 1 sip and 1 bite and decided to just eat some Cheerios and get coffee at the airport. Overall, if you need a quick cheap place to rest your head, ok. If you are light sleeper or need a better experience, look elsewhere. (Review given by someone who travels almost weekly around the world). I would not stay there again.

    This was a rough one. I booked this hotel for its proximity to the airport and the free shuttle. We followed the directions and called the hotel over we picked up our luggage. The wait time advertised was 15-30 minutes. We waited over an hour for the shuttle, and that was after calling three times. I’m confident the front desk clerk never called the shuttle for us. Once arriving at the hotel, our room was so musty smelling and the refrigerator was covered in rust. The shower didn’t drain well at all. I called the front desk, she came up, decided it was draining “fine”, then told me to call back when it really didn’t drain. The following morning we needed a shuttle back to the airport. I asked for the shuttle two hours in advance, then was told there were no shuttles available. Overall, the front desk staff was horribly rude…someone was always on a personal call or not at the front desk at all. The breakfast was terrible. We have stayed at MANY Best Westerns, and this was significantly below their standards.

    Parking is almost non existent. The entrance is not handicap friendly as they have to walk up a steep incline. The staff cleaned the room but never left us replacement towels. The room was humid and the floors constantly felt wet. The entire place has a weird smell to it. The pillows are small squares the size of your head instead of actual pillows. The water pressure is awful. I will never stay here again.

    I found the cleaning to be desired because the floor was sticky, the towels and sheets stained, the mattress and pillow were of good quality the service I found well below the best western network that I always stay, the front desk were unwilling and still asked for bank information and Expedia recommends not to pass any information, I did but I found it strange because the other times it had never happened.

    Room Was clean But I had the room Clean and never left towels and I had to be going and getting towels then the next day I was told there wasn’t clean towels they were out of them I stayed 3 nights and be and my husband shower 2 times a day we always go to this hotel when we travel because we like the stay but this last one was a bad experience

    AC vents with blowing fan were next to desk with chair, and vents could not be redirected, which was very annoying and very cold with needed AC because of 90 deg temps. Coffee machine at breakfast had reg coffee that was so dark, concentrated and bitter, that I had to add some hot water to the coffee cup to dilute the coffee to a standard cup of coffee, which would still be darker, bolder and more concentrated than any cup of Starbucks coffee. The coffee : hot water concentration ratio needs to be reset, or recalibrated to brew a normal cup of coffee.

    the airport shuttle was really good and the drivers were nice. saw a roach in the lobby right where the food is served in the morning. united assigned over 30 people to this hotel due to a cancelled flight and there was only 1 person working so it took almost 2 hours to check in….the rooms were slippery and the bed/bed sheets were stained and dirty.

    The staff were nice and accommodating. That’s the only good thing about this hotel. I booked as it was cheap and definitely got less than what I paid for. The room was musty, the floor was slimy (and very dirty), the pillows had hair on them, the sheets were ripped, the conditioner provided was 3/4 empty. Stains on literally everything. The loudest air conditioner I have ever heard and no curtains so the light was excessively bright all night.

    Breakfast was not great. Food was stale. Shuttle was easy but felt like the drivers did not want to help or drive anyone. Only half my family got on so the others just paid the $10 for an uber to the hotel since it was late at night. Only stayed here one night. But it was clean and a safe place to sleep.

    As soon as we were notified of the cancellation, I contacted the hotel immediately to explain the situation and request a refund or credit for our stay, as we physically could not get to Houston. Instead of receiving professional service or any semblance of empathy, the staff was dismissive and entirely unsympathetic. They flat-out refused to offer a refund or any accommodation for a situation of force majeure. In an industry built on hospitality, this establishment fails miserably. They are clearly more interested in pocketing money for an empty room than in building guest loyalty or doing the right thing. If you are looking for a hotel that values its guests and understands the realities of modern travel, look elsewhere. This property has lost a customer for life.

    Every thing was good EXCEPT for the shuttle. The hotel along with 4-5 others in the area use a 24 hour shuttle service. The service is very unreliable. We had issues from the airport to the hotel AND we had a scheduled pickup time at the hotel back to the airport. The shuttle was 45 minutes late and then we had to make 3 more stops before going to the airport. We did make it but the added stress was very inconvenient

    Ac unit was broken. The girl came and reset it and said it was blowing again,but it kept turning off and never got below 80. We called her again to tell her and she basically said the panel had gone out and ongoing issue but there was nothing they could do about it. She said they didn’t have other rooms and couldn’t refund us. Miserable sleep,‘humid room that stunk, and overall, wouldn’t recommend.

    Disaster. No AC in lobby. My first clue. Also, No AC in Room. Staff said no other rooms available. Yet parkn lot was not full. Hmmm. Left immediately & fortunately was able to later reboard the circuit 24hr airport hotel shuttle to LaQuinta. Was UNABLE to confirm refund until mgr arrived later next day. (Expedia unable to reach biz & resolve saying I WOULD have to pay...according to original contract...) False advertising. Gonna need AC in Hou.

    This hotel has one of the best staff in the whole IAH area. They are very professional and helpful, communicate well by text/email and go the extra mile to make you fell great. You really feel that your comfort matters to them. When your plane has a delay, sometimes even substantial and you arrive late at night, you can still check in with no hassle from them. They are a full A level staff and this makes a big difference.

    There was little to no staff. No one was ever at the front desk it was always just a sign. When asking for towels on multiple nights they were always out of towels. I couldn't complain to the front desk because no one was ever there.

    We were told to leave our bags in the pantry while we went next door to eat. When we came back, my son’s backpack was missing. Inside the backpack were 2 pair of his shoes, one new pair of pants, the charger for my mobility scooter, a small thermal bag and my Peak Purple 18oz Yeti Rambler (you can’t get that color anymore). So needless to say this was not a good experience. It cost me $32 to replace the backpack and $61 to replace the charger. Unfortunately I can’t replace the Yeti with the same color unless I pay a lot more.

    Stayed 2 nights with my wife and 2 kids. The floors were very dirty and sticky; we all had black feet within a couple hours. The whole hotel stinks like toxic air freshener trying to cover up years of cigarette smoke. The elevator was broken; was told to take the stairs to the third floor with 7 pieces of luggage, no staff offered to help even. Close to the airport but would not stay again. There are better options out there for the same price.

    Additionally, the elevator was not working, and the bed next to the window in my room was sunken and very uncomfortable. On November 9, I received an early morning call asking if I was leaving the room, even though I had paid for two nights. I was asked to come down and provide all my information again. On November 10, I was still feeling unwell and asked if I could please check out just thirty minutes later, and they refused. I travel frequently for work and have never been treated this way. I am very upset, and I was told that your system only showed my reservation for one night, even though I had paid for two.

    A note from the hotel told me to call and schedule my shuttle once I landed. I some out of Gate E and called only to be told I needed to go to Gate A 115. I asked why was that not told to me instead of having me come out of a gate to call then tell me where to go… We were given a room on the 3rd floor however after checking us in she let us know that the elevator is broken and we need to take the stairs with all our luggage. I asked direction to o the bathroom, she let me know the lock is broken. I had to use it anyway, but there was no toilet paper, soap or paper to dry your hands. Later that evening I went in to shower and learned that the water does not go down in the tub. I went to contact them and found that the phone is actually a prop.. not a real phone. We asked to be moved which happened the day later. We went downstairs for breakfast. No Joyce just an empty machine. We took one of the muffins and realized it was stale and smelly.. Coffee was the only thing going for them. No fruits, nothing fresh. Just bare minimum and sad. Prior to the day of checkout, I called to arrange for my shuttle. She said I needed to be there for 5:45 am. Had I not gone there at 5:15 am, the shuttle would have left me..

    The elevator didn't work. We had to tow our luggage up and downstairs. The vending machine was out of order. The bathroom downstairs was out of order. The room I was in the bathroom smelled like urine. They must have cooked 3 to 4 sausages because when I came downstairs by 7am all the sausage was gone and it was like 4 people downstairs. There was blonde hair on the comforter in more than one place. I question if they even washed the comforter to have that many hairs on it.

    I had never been to Houston in my life and I was asking about restaurants close by. She just gave me the key and grabbed her phone and started speaking hindi . So i just waled away and found the elevator my self. The next morning at breakfast, I went to make coffee and only water came out. I asked the person working, and he rudely said, "We are out of coffee, use this," and pointed to decaf. It is very clear no staff cares, and they acted like they paid me to be there. I am not picky, but this was a joke.

    When arriving after an international flight there is no way of contacting to ask for shuttle pick up if you haven’t USA telephone reception. Which means you have to find someone kind enough and ask to have them contact the hotel for pick up. I was informed that they don’t want to do WhatsApp or email, which can be used when you have WiFi at the airport.

    This is our honeymoon trip, after driving 2 1/2 hours and finished grabbing a few extra items. We laid down early. There was loud music in the middle of the night and the strong smell of weed in the hall. To top it all off waking up at 1:30 am to get to the airport to fly out for the arranged shuttle. It was 40 minuets late and driver didn't care. The property has not offered or apologized yet for anything and we have paid to stay there when we fly back in!

    Everything was broken or out of service. The staff checked me in, handed the room card and failed to mention the elevator was not working ( how can that even be??) they did not bother to tell me where the stairs were or apologize for making me haul my luggage up several flights of stairs. The outside access door from the side of the building did not work. The bathroom in the lobby next to the breakfast area was also out of service. The TV in my room was completely busted. I actually hate that they aren't carpeted, the floors are vinyl plank so it's not comfortable to walk on without shoes. The breakfast offerings was terrible. No jams or peanut butter for the toast. No yogurts or anything in the fridge except milk for coffee. The eggs were hard and crusted. Honestly this was less than a 1 star experience. I thought Best Western was known as a reputable brand for having decent hotels. I won't stay here again.

    Worst night staff experience! The guy working at night was extremely lazy. Coffee cups and lids were always out, breakfast items were not stocked, and the sausage he cooked was burnt and inedible. On top of that, he spent most of his time talking on his cellphone about personal matters on speakerphone—even while “helping” customers—which led to miscommunication between him, the shuttle driver, and us. When we tried to address the issue, he argued with us instead of fixing the problem. Absolutely the worst experience we’ve had at a Best Western.

    I was disappointed that the room smelled like mildew. I spoke with the nighttime attendant and was advised that they did not have any available rooms and if I wanted to change my room i would have to pay a higher cost also for issues as such ,should be addressed directly to Expedia since booking was made through them. After explaining my rights as a guest, the attendant said he would leave a message for his relief because another room wont be available till after 10am. After i return from my program later that night, the day attendant had no knowledge of our conversation. When I return to my room I noticed a roach crawling from under the bed towards the door. A video was recorded and also observed by a customer sitting in the the hall. The video was shown to the attendant .She recommended insect repellent be used. I declined and another room was issued. It was clean and smelled a lot better than the first one.

    Hotel smelled horrible in lobby area and in room - had I not checked in so late I would have switched hotels. I don’t know if it was the cleaning agent used or if they were trying to cover up another odor but this place legit smelled like a combo of mildew, clorox & faux eucalyptus oil. Absolutely nauseating. Room surfaces were sticky to the touch because the AC was clearly not working properly, so the humidity had permeated the room. The AC unit was extremely noisy, as well. To top off my delightful stay in this absolute dump, the room’s smoke detector randomly activated and disrupted my sleep - when I went down to the front desk, the clerk shrugged and said it must have been a mistake; zero regard to finding the cause I’d the alar so I spent the remainder of the night wondering if I’d be dying in my sleep due to CO2 poisoning.

    Only stayed one night, but great, clean room and bathroom. Location is great as it is very close to the airport, with free airport shuttle. Check-in could be improved. Unfriendly staff at front desk. The hotel has no convenience store and soda machine was out of order.

    Upon entering the hotel, an unusual odor was detected in the atmosphere. Furthermore, the initial greeting was absent, with staff members situated behind a closed door, requiring a bell to be rung for assistance. On the day we intended to have breakfast at 7:30 AM, no options were available. The cereal selection, specifically Cheerios, was mixed with other varieties. When this was brought to the manager's attention, no apology was offered. Approximately fourteen individuals were present for breakfast, and the situation resulted in a negative experience.

    The cleaning staff removed my bag with my medication , jewelry and other personal belongings and threw it in the trash. I couldn’t go with out my medication and was told I would have to go to the dumpster and look through it to get my medication if I needed it then. I live 10 hrs away and could not get a refill so I had to open trash bags from the dumpster until I found my bag. This was the worst experience of my life!!! I felt degraded, violated,distressed, embarrassed and frustrated!! Not o mention I did not take my medication on time so I’ve been suffering with medical issues because of this!! My clothes and shoes had to be thrown away because of the dumpster slime that got on them when I was trying to get my medication. I can’t express how disappointed I was when the manager told me I needed to go to the dumpster to look through bags for my belongings that were left on the desk in the room!!!

    What a terrible experience! The shuttle took forever to arrive and it's shared among 6 hotels. We were packed like sardines inside the shuttle. The driver was not careful with my suitcase and it cracked. The room was smelly, the AC was loud. Finally, -since the shuttle is shared with 5 other hotels- there was no space for me at the time I wanted to go to the airport. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. This is a ghetto hotel.

    If you want an inexpensive place to stay before your flight, this will do, the staff is polite and the place is pretty clean. The cleaning product smell is strong, though. Plan to take the shuttle earlier than you think you need as this hotel is either the first of close to the first, but if you sign up for it your place is reserved. Do not eat at the Waffle House next door! It smells and tastes like rancid grease.

    Finally, whoever was working the front desk at 4 am on 07/01/2025 had one of the worst attitudes ever. All because I checked out early and requested the shuttle earlier. It’s a 24-hour shuttle! He had no people skills whatsoever. If you don’t need the shuttle (highly recommend taking a Lyft or Uber; you’ll get there quicker & safer) the hotel is great. It’s clean and conveniently located next to a Waffle House and Tim Horton’s. However the poor organization of the airport shuttles, rude & reckless drivers, and that one front desk worker ruined it for me. It is truly a great hotel to stay at, but I’m dissatisfied by their customer service, organization, and lack of awareness.

    They have plantation shutters in the room instead of curtains so the room stayed fairly well lit from the parking lot lights overnight. The room was nicely renovated but the AC unit was loud so I woke up every time it turned on. The vanity is separate from the shower and kind of in the middle of the room. Okay for solo travelers but could be an issue for more than one person.

    We went into our room and the bedding sheets, comforter sheet and pillowcases weren’t changed. Literally black hair. How disgusting! Never ever have we experienced this! We always liked best western but this one ruined it for us. At least the guy at the front desk was able to bring it up and we ch aged it ourselves. Weird smell in the hotel. I woke up to a bad smell. The air conditioning is so loud I had hard times falling asleep.

    We were first given a suite on the first floor which had a very strong and unpleasant "spray" odor. It was so strong, we could barely breathe. We went to to the front desk attendant and asked for another room noting the unpleasant smell and our environmental sensitivities. He immediately placed us in a room on an upper floor which was better for us.

    Main problem was the smell - extremely terrible, overwhelming chemical cleanser smell. It was everywhere, in the halls and the rooms. A/C loud but to be expected. Threadbare towels in bathroom. Also, the breakfast was the worst. The only edible thing was the waffle. Not even one fruit or fresh item. Stayed a year ago and don't remember it being bad and that's why I booked again. Must have gone downhill in the last year. At least it was cheap.
