The rooms were clean but the pools were not in working conditions. We were sent to another hotel to use the outdoor pool but the hot tub was broken and full of moss and old stinky water. The pool was full of bugs and not maintained

I didn't have breakfast there. Staff was ok/friendly. But understaffed. Room smelled terrible due to an ancient moldy air conditioning system. Hallway carpets were filthy. Main entrance doorway was blocked by a large luggage cart. The receptionist gave me one key, which didn't work. By the time I got back to the lobby with my luggage there was a long line with just one receptionist. It took 10 minutes to get to the receptionist so I could get a working key.

The hotel is ran down. All the bath tubs are peeling or missing paint or pieces of the tub. The carpets in the rooms are filthy and old and dated. This hallways are old and dated the wallpaper is peeling its stains along the walls its holes in drywall.

they charged me $200 for a deposit for extending my stay the room is not clean and the toilet was clogged and no one would come and help me you have to have breakfast at another hotel the overall experience sucked and left me broke and they charged 30 ove

Old property. Room was an 8 but no microwave. Did have a Krueg. The hall, lobby and elevator rugs really needed cleaning. There had been a resturant which opens to the lobby. It should have been a better partitioned. The big foyer made the place look abandoned. This is a place to stay if u want to get in and out of Hobby airport quickly. I did not feel unsafe. Limited decent food in the area.

This place is a DUMP!! The bathroom door does not shut, some of the lights do not work. One elevator was broken. New carpeting is needed inside the room and in the hallways. One side of the hotel faces the street and is noisy.

Breakfast was a shuttle to another hotel and the shuttle was broken. Was told I could walk (down a street under construction) or call an Uber. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls in the halls. Water backed up in the shower. There was no soap, only shampoo and lotion. The room was really clean. The bed was clean and I slept great. There was some jet noise, but I live near an airport and it did not bother me. The air conditioner worked great. The hotel requires a $100 deposit at check in. It is "returned" at check out which could take 3-4 days to process. To sum it up, the facilities are in need of an update. The morning staff is not friendly. The room is mostly great. You get what you pay for.

Our hotel room was nice. We enjoyed the hotel room. That said, the rest of the hotel seems to be in major disrepair. Walking around the first floor felt at times like walking in and abandoned area. The hallways show evident wear and tear going to the room. Only other minor issue is that the hotel room comes with a coffee maker but no coffee and you have to go downstairs to get coffee from the lobby. Again it seems like the hotel is just in need of some TLC.

There is also a sign at the desk that they do not take any prepaid cards including PayPal, Venmo, or cashap. A $100 deposit is also required and if you refuse to pay it you will not be refunded for the room nor will you be allowed to check in.

I liked the rooms were clean on arrival, overall clean hotel. The was closed my entire stay due to clean of pool however it was never cleaned. My room was not cleaned once throughout my stay and trash filled up along with dirty towels. The parking garage was dirty and a lot of customers were smoking Marijuana inside and outside of the hotel. You can smell it in the hallways, elevator and as soon as you walked out side and parking garage. Not a family oriented hotel, at least as per the days I stayed.

The rooms were exactly like they were pictured on line. The lobby was nice and clean! I didn’t like that there wasn’t a microwave in the room. You also have to eat breakfast at another hotel. The pool area and hot tub area wasn’t operable and the hallway carpet was dirty! The breakfast had rotten apples on the buffet. They needed to be thrown away!

I liked the fact that it was very close to the airport I did not like the hostess talking on her phone the entire time durning check in and check out. Im not talking about dealing with customers. Using your work hours to have personal phone calls, while dealing with customers is completely out of line. The hotel smelled like marijuana from the front desk all the way to the 4th floor where I stayed. Getting out of my car in the parking lot, the unmistakable sound of gun shots let me know i definitely choose the wrong hotel. Finally, why have a sign for breakfast in the morning when there was none, asking for a friend.

There was a 100 dollar deposit I was not aware of. Second, airport shuttle is not available 24hrs and only operates after 4am. No I did not wait to see if the driver arrived at 4am, had a 5am flight so not taking that risk. Room was nice

The hotel staff / clerk was very courteous as we checked in. The room was ok. 2 light bulbs were burned out and the night clerk couldn't find any.The breakfast wasnt in the hotel. They did have a shuttle that took you to another hotel to get it but it wasn't really worth it.

I immediately call Expedia customer service, Tell agent I enter wrong date, I want to change to one day early from Nov. 30 -Dec. 01 to Nov. 29-Nov 30, 2025. Good transport to airport. No breakfast/guests were to be bussed to a different hotel. Out of coffee pods for the rooms. The young woman at the front desk was lovely and gave me a tea bag from her lunch. Floor in my room looked dirty.

In addition to that, the hotel was rundown, never had coffee for guests at the front, and was just in a general state of disrepair. There were no issues except that the room was a little chilly. Teice I turned on the heat but it shut off automatically after a while. I didnt go a third time because it was almost time to wake up from my short sleep. The gentleman who checked me out was very courteous and pleasant. The next morning, the airport shuttle driver had decided he didn't feel well, so I had to take another ride share to HOU. That was the whole reason I stayed overnight before an early flight! Have housekeeping come in daily to clean and make the bed, but if I would have been there all day, there’s no way to let housekeeping Know you don’t want assistance or cleaning. Staff was kind, but parking is limited and they have a parking garage that’s like 2 stories, but doesn’t appear well maintained.

The tub in the room was horribly resurfaced and it had an old basement smell. The wallpaper was held up by tape on the 4th floor. The employees were super friendly and helpful though.

The pictures and reviews it looked like a nice hotel. When we arrived the sliding door to enter the hotel was broke had to pry it open to get in. They charged me $100 to hold until check out, no where on the web site did it say there would be holding fee. The 1st room we got we could not get into the dead bolt was locked so we had to go back and get a new room. Then when we finally got a room. It is old and run down needs paint everywhere. The bathroom has rust all over the ceiling and the porcelain paint in the shower was all chipped. The “restaurant” was always closed and you could not use the pool they had the door chained shut. The best thing about this hotel was the cleaning staff very friendly! And the bed was comfortable.

I must say that this was a terrible stay, I was using the toilet and when I was done I proceeded to get up and I grab the help bar on the side to help me up due to my back problem and the bar collapsed and I fell.

Pool was close, as was the bar and kitchen. Room smelled moldy as did the carpet. Hallways were unattended for the ceiling tiles were falling down. Loud kids crying and screeming past midnight , our room smelled of musk & dirt. The bathroom had limited amenities. Down stairs bathroom was a long walk from elevator due to the onea next to check in they would not open for guest. Bed was OK woke up sore and unrested.

The room was very nice & very clean! The lady at the front desk, was rude, extremely unfriendly and unprofessional. The gentleman in the morning was very helpful and nice. The outside of the hotel could use some renovations and cleaned up a bit. We only stued overnight to be closer to the airport, we had an early flight.

I had a cancelled flight and this hotel for great for overnight. Room was very clean and updated and the property itself is nice. Although I didn't see much of the property due to coming in late and leaving very early, what I did see, I would stay here again.

You get what you pay for, I guess. It was definitely better than spending 12 hours in the Houston airport. The front desk staff was short on the phone but nice in person. Felt clean enough to shower and sleep. The outside looks a little rough. The airport shuttle driver was nice and quick!

When I approach the staff most of the staff said they would see if they could get me in a different location however failed to do so and that all their other locations were booked I ended up spending three days with no amenities and no one even approach the manager with my issue nor did I receive a call from them Obviously they were not concerned and we’re just in to grab the money although they grossly misrepresented their hotel and the amenities offered If I had known the condition as well as the amenities were lacking as they were I would’ve stayed in a much less expensive hotel during my stay personally I want a full refund just because of the inconvenience and the misrepresentation

Made the reservation the day of arrival so felt no need to ask for a refundable rate. No where on the booking site did the hotel indicate that it was under renovation & construction and there was no hotel signage out in front of the hotel. If I had known, never would have booked the hotel. The hotel should disclose in their booking engines that the hotel is under renovation. They charged me even though I did not stay to check in. I know that I did not ask for a refundable rate but as I was on my way, and if they had disclosed the hotel was under renovation, I wouldn’t have booked. They refused to offer a refund. Will never stay in another Wyndham brand hotel due to their poor communication. The condition of the hotel should be noted in their description on the hotels.com site.

Booked under Wyndham and staff says Wyndham but building and signs all say Holiday Inn. Looks a lot more rundown than the pictures. Rooms have a funny smell. Our room keys stopped working everytime we left our room. They gave us the spiel on keeping them away from cell phones, we made sure to keep them away from any and all things that would de-magnetize them and they still had to be re-programmed every time. Imagine carrying everything to your room to have to stand outside of it while someone runs downstairs to get your key fixed when you have been gone for 15 hrs. There is a $100 incidental fee that is held on your card that is not mentioned anywhere in the reservation until you arrive at check-in. This is in addition to your reservation fees and charges. You get it back after you check out, but would be nice to know about it prior to arrival so arrangements can be made. Won’t stay here again, but I guess it served its purpose for this trip.

The first room I was given wasn’t cleaned. There was an empty pizza box on the table, a trash can full of trash, and a dirty towel in the bathroom. They switched my room and it smelled like an ashtray making me think the previous people had smoked in there. Then I found two roaches in there during my stay. The upside is the shower pressure was good and the shuttle to and from the airport was quick. It was tolerable for a single night. Not well managed though.

They double charged me for the deposit. At check in I used my credit card to secure the deposit. However, hours later my debit card used at booking was then charged the same deposit amount. The lady at check in was rude and more concerned about her phone call than being attentive to guest.

When I called the airport shuttle to pick me up the man that was in the front desk was rude and they ended up picking me up late. When I got to the hotel the man was very dismissive and raised his voice at me with a mean look because I didn’t understand what he was saying. The room we got wasn’t clean and looked outdated.

The food was only priced as a buffet. I eat very little at breakfast, so $18.00 for it was crazy. They did have free coffee at the front, that was nice. The in-room coffee/cups weren't restocked for me on our 3 days there. They had a bar listed there and yes there was one, but they had 1 beer or none for most of the beer they offered. The wine was a really cheap brand, and they charged for 1 glass as much as the whole bottle would cost. No merlot, and only enough for maybe 1 or 2 glasses of red and white left. We were there on a Wednesday - Sunday, when do they restock? But they acted like that's normal to have nothing to offer. I didn't ask for any hard liquor. I just bought some wine at the store. The room itself was clean and comfortable enough. The hot water was great, but the tub was peeling and no amount of fixing the shower curtain could keep the water from flooding the bathroom floor. So, one towel was always used for mopping up the floor.

Pool was not clean and bugs were in our room….. there seemed to have been water leaks in the hotel as on every floor there was a humidifier and water damages inside and outside the rooms. It was very close to the hobby airport. Don’t get confused from which airport you are travelling to.

I would not recommend this hotel as it’s in poor condition for a 3-star hotel option. The whole hotel has a damp smell. The safety lock on our room was missing, and the ice bucket was missing as well. In the gym, the wall mirror in the weight room is missing. One of the lights in the bathroom wasn’t working, the bath faucet was loose, and gross blood-like stains on the carpet outside our room. We tried to book the airport shuttle for the morning but they said to just come down 10 mins before we wanted to leave. Therefore, we had to wait a very long time for the front desk staff to acknowledge us in the morning and even longer for the airport shuttle to arrive - we ended up taking an Uber.

We booked it because it had a pool listed and a restaurant. When we arrived we were told the pool was "inoperable" and the restaurant was closed. The hotel was in poor condition. The room condition was fair but found bugs in the hallway. It smelled like wet rotting rug. We did contact the hotel itself and we're supposed to get a call back but never did. We always use Holiday Inn for the name brand and never have seen a property like this. They should have their name revoked. Not sure what they are waiting for!!!

We were disappointed with a limited bar selection. Found out that the Hilton Garden Hotel hwas very nice and well equipped. It eas close by so, we walked to it. Other than that, the rooms are spacious and the updates are nice.

The front doors did not open automatically, the clerk saw that I had my hands full and just mimicked me to pry them open, when I did, I was instructed to close them again. The outside of the building had a roof corner at the entrace that was ripping off. Parking was limited, there was construction equipment and a dumpster where there is supposed to be parking. The outside of the hotel gave me the impression that the hotel was out of business because of the lack of cleanliness and lighting. The elevator door was being held together by duct tape. The carpet in the hall way outside of my room was very worn out. The restroom had closet doors for doors so there was a slit in the middle where the doors meet that did now allow for full privacy. The tub was repainted but the paint was coming off, it gave me the impression that it was dirty because it was peeling.

Hurricane hit the early morning after my first of three nights stay… rain was coming in the room was moved, no electricity, no food or drink - all due to the weather which is understandable. Near 12 noon once the rain slacked up we checked out in hopes to find food/water in speaking to front desk i was told I had to contact hotel.com for refund of other two nights in which was DENIED! After several phone calls the decision remained the same.

We had a reservation, fly into the city and drive to the hotel ONLY to find out it was closed due to the inclement weather. (Which is understandable) However, I never received notice of the hotel closure either from hotel or booking site. I literally had no hotel room. All the surrounding hotels were either booked or closed. I am extremely disappointed that I wasn’t at least notified. I will think twice before staying at this hotel chain again.

The carpets smelled very musty & main hallway carpets were wet. But my room was comfy, clean & quiet. The pool was filthy. I imagine this is because of the recent hurricane. The cost of the room was $200 a night w/ no free breakfast & 1 roll of toilet paper, so that was surprising to me. There was a lady that worked the desk who made me feel like I was a huge burden because my room key stopped working. I had to go back 3 x to get a key that worked. The entrance doors weren’t opening either. Overall for the price I feel that I overpaid & wish there was more offered for the price.
