The Westin Houston, Memorial City

The location was good and the staff was very friendly. Our breakfast was good and the wait staff was very friendly and efficient. The air conditioning was great which is a must in Houston. The wifi was non-existent in our room. I had to go to the front desk to get a shower cap and the vanity kits in the bathroom were not provided as is done in most expensive hotels. We had to pay for the electric charging which is also complimentary at most hotels that charge $500 per night.

The place is clean and tidy. The room is spacious, with a coffee maker and refrigerator. The bed is fantastic. It really makes a difference for a good night's sleep. The location is spectacular for someone without a car. You just walk across the skyline directly to the Memorial Mall. But the best part was the attention I received from the security manager. When he saw I had a lot of luggage to handle, he helped me very kindly. Maybe the shower water pressure. But, it was still nice. Oh, and there´s some sort of a huge machine noise. But, maybe it´s because it´s next to the hospital. I still love this place!

The room was nice, the price was steep and I only paid that amount because at the time of payment the site said it was going to get upgraded, upon arrival the front desk didn’t upgrade the room. They lied and said someone checked out late instead of telling the truth, which was they didn’t want to upgrade me because they sold the room at a higher price. I don’t like to be lied to so I will never use this site or a Westin hotel again.

Great experience at this hotel. From the moment we pulled up, the entire staff was so welcoming and friendly. Diego at front desk went above and beyond to welcome us to the property. Our room was large and very comfortable. Check out with Alexis was also perfect.

The hot tub would not heat and the pool was not adequately heated. Chose this hotel, because of the unique pool area. We could not use either of these features. Very disappointing.

The location is great. Best perk was to get checked in at 2:30! That was epic and so appreciated. Also checkout is at noon! Wish all hotels did that! Staff were super helpful. The valet was super fast getting the car when we needed it. This Westin really has their act together! Holiday decorations were gorgeous. Nothing I can think of.

Great location for our shopping weekend and close to great restaurants. Loved that we were able to self park, even if it did cost. Loved the view from the pool area. Hotel was clean and up to date. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had a hard time finding the hotel when arriving. Couldn’t figure out how to get to the valet drop off so just self parked. All good!

This is definitely not a 4-star hotel in its current state. The staff was exceptional, however, the rooms are dated and it’s clear they need renovation/ improvements. When we checked into our room, the first thing we noticed was the room had a horrible stench. We couldn’t find out where it was coming from. We ended up getting switched rooms three different times, but the smell still seemed to linger from only inside the rooms. The sheets were clearly old, and didn’t smell clean and weren’t comfortable at all. Our stay overall felt like a 3-star hotel, but we paid for 4-star hotel experience. Sadly, we will not be recommending this hotel until they decide to remodel and replace their bedding.

I really enjoyed how everything was super close the mall the restaurants, I love hmart and 99 ranch market and they were so close and it was so nice to not have to drive to far. I was with my friends and we all enjoyed the area everything was nice and clean and quiet they had good parking there was a lot of nice restaurants around. I'm a Houston local so I def enjoyed my experience staff was nice they even let me check in early which was great. The only thing I would say that I was disappointed about was that the roof top pool the glass was dirty so it kinda made the experience less enjoyable but overall it was still good.

I've stayed at the Westin before and it was a good experience. I don't know what they've changed, but this time around it was an AMAZING experience. From the time I was greeted at the front desk until I checked out everyone and everything was perfect. I had zero issues during my stay, which in this day and age is unheard of! I will definitely be back to this location and consider The Westin when I go on vacation as my #1 option. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, you won't be disappointed.

The hotel is just fine but given the high price, value for money was just not there. I stayed because it was the conference venue and I was returning from a long business trip to Asia but would not stay again. Also I left a nice blazer, called and was told it was not there but there is no other place it could have been (it was white and I probably missed it because the bedding is white - my bad here.

My company Christmas party it was amazing

This was by far one of my favorite stays in a big city. The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and was SO CLEAN. I loved our room! Spacious and not a piece of dust! The entire property was just perfect - and even had a Starbucks for my caffeine addiction. Also a walkway to a mall....so shopping was a must. Overall a wonderful stay. I look forward to coming back soon!

Bathroom walls were a bit dirty. 1 of the bed sheets look like a cat clawed it & shredded part of it. The pillows were not fluffy & they were pretty flat. My a/c wasn’t reading at the correct temperature & the ceiling in the restroom was peeling off. Check out rep wasn’t pleasant

Some of the tiles by the infinity pool feel loose. My sister fell through one of the tiles the last time I was here. The Staff were concerned & helpful bandaging her leg. It’s a beautiful view, clean & has secure safety to prevent children from wondering in on their own. Also, pool is equipped with a chair for someone with a disability. I love all the great walking distance conveniences.

Wonderful hotel. Mario helped with check-in. He went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. The deluxe king room was extremely nice. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was perfect for my and husband and I to eaisely share. I will definitely be returning to this hotel in the near future.

Extremely OVER PRICED! Rooms are old and out dated and the amenities are few and far between! I would have never paid the amount I did had I seen the true pictures.

The hotel was conviently connected to a mall and target via a enclosed bridge which was nice for my elderly parents who didn't want to drive and could walk around the mall. The room itself was spacious and we had a great view of the downtown skyline. My only want was for a microwave in the room and free parking and wifi. Wifi is free if you're a loyalty member only and the self parking was discounted for my long stay but still don't love paying $9 a day for parking
