The best hotel! Location/ pool/ fitness/ comfortable beds: beautiful views

The room was very clean somewhat there was hai inside the bathtub so I wasn’t able to use it. Air conditioner didn’t get cold it took 1 hour before we feel the coldness. It was hard to find the parking we found the easiest parking valet when we were about to leave. But overall it was very neat and close to everything. I will stay longer so I can actually enjoy the amenities and we didn’t have a chance to check out the bar and the breakfast.

What a wonderful stay. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Especially the valet team. They even gave us a ride twice to go eat. They had wonderful restaurant suggestions. Thanks again to the entire team

I found the bathroom to be quite surprising. I noticed that the solid door had been replaced with a glass one. My 10-year-old son almost bumped into it, which was a bit concerning. Also, the transparent glass allows you to see inside the bathroom, which might not be ideal for all guests. I believe these aspects could be improved to make the experience more comfortable for families.

The bed was ultra comfy. Pool deck is a lovely place to sit. Location is right by the light rail or a short drive from all the museums. Some OK take away places downstairs. The View from any room is of an adjacent building. The west facing side of the building which would look out over a park and low buildings has now windows. Not an architectural marvel... The hotel was short staffed during rodeo time and getting anything on the terrace required going trough a sometimes locked gate inside to the bar. That includes towels... But my big beef is the price of the parking garage. $43 for the first night in a car centric town like Houston felt brutal. Luckily I found with a bit of research that the adjacent garage only charges $19 for up to 24 hours for the second night. This is something the check in staff do not tell you.

Daniel who was the bartender on duty when we checked in could not have been nicer. Room was more than fine. Clean hotel. One thing that did bother us from a security standpoint: anyone without a key can access any floor in the hotel. This is a big security concern.

Room was clean, the staff was courteous, the only complaint i had was minor, we were on the 18th floor, top floor, and there was an incessant hum coming from some machinery on the roof, maybe HVAC or something. It was a very low hum or vibration, so be aware if they put you on the top floor

I couldn’t take the noise any more and was quickly switched to another room with no hassle. The next morning I was notified there was a rock in one of the vents that was located above. Having to work early the next morning. it was truly an inconvenience. The staff quickly relocated me but the damage was already done.

The bed was not heavenly; it was very firm. The pillows were not down, they seemed like down alternative. I had to request for slippers and it took a while for the temp. to reach 65 after adjustment. I stayed at Westin in San Francisco a years back and enjoyed it very much. Not here.

It is convenience. Westin sent all the details for checking in ahead of your arrival. You can get your room ready before arrival and get your card in seconds.

Place was fine but $57 valet parking and $6 for coffee was ridiculous. More distressing there was also no restricted access to elevators so anyone can just come right up from the street. Hotel is very very close to the public/city hospital so that isn’t acceptable at all. Anyway good luck with that. See above. Hard to use Bonvoy.

The hotel is beautiful, quiet, and exceptionally clean. If you are a person that does not ride elevators, this is not the hotel for you. But overall, it is a delightful stay.

I was shocked and amazed at how quiet inside the room was. Outside was the metro rrain and its bells and the sirens and helicopters for the hospitals and not a peep came into the room. And the bthroom mirror was fabulous. No joke. I stood and looked at myself for a little bit and thought daaamn! I look terrific. That mirror could make an ogre beautiful. And the beds!!! O goodness. Fabulous!! The price for parking was ridiculous. Room rates are high enough i think it should include parking. .

Staff are very friendly and attentive. Hotel is clean no maintenance issue noted by any means. Location was easily accessible by uber. Rooms were quiet except for when emergency sirens go off (mind you I was on the ninth floor). Bed and bedding were very superb especially when the weather outside is 50 degrees. Would recommend.

Some of the staff were very helpful and considerate. It was a fairly short, half mile to walk to MD Anderson. At check in the room wasn’t ready even though they knew our arrival time, so we had to wait while the clerk found an available room. The room lights were challenging to operate even with the little manual. Beds were less comfortable, too soft, with very heavy covers. The shuttle left every half hour with no directions for a return ride. The shower started hot but got cool in just a few minutes. Had to keep showers short. Curtains didn’t do well in darkening the room if you are sensitive to light. The food in the restaurant was really awful and expensive. The heating vents were very noisy and would disturb a sensitive sleeper. There was no hotel parking and valet parking boosted the price considerably. At checkout, the clerk couldn’t figure out how to enter the valet charges, so our car sat for an extended period, and the car even got a very small ding while sitting there.

I love staying here for my medical procedures (staff, food, cleanliness, comfort all great), however the design of the hotel is dysfunctional and not ADA friendly. The ADA accessible rooms are the furthest away from the elevators - and being I am on crutches - not helpful.

Convenient location to Methodist Hospital. Room was clean & nice. Good fitness center. Encountered a minor problem, but the Rooms Manager resolved it quickly and effectively.

I was in Houston for appointments at MD Anderson. By the end of the day when we checked on, we were exhausted and ordered room service. We also ordered room service for breakfast this morning. We did not really like that all room service is delivered in a paper bag with paper cups, styrofoam containers and plastic ware. We prefer a ceramic coffee cup, ceramic plates, metal eating utensils, and a salt and pepper shaker instead of one tiny salt packet and one tiny pepper packet ( even though we requested extra salt and pepper this morning when ordering breakfast). Eating a fried egg from a styrofoam , foil-lined plate wasn’t ideal- or good. Having said all of this, we still like the hotel .

Everything about my stay was great and everything went smoothly. Valet was efficient and careful, check-in was easy and the concierge kindly granted my request for a quiet room away from traffic and noise. Room was clean, so nice, and EVERYTHING WORKED (a rarity these days). Terrace 54 Restaurant has a beautiful view and the weather was perfect. Couldn't have been more pleased with my stay. Thank you!

I worked in restaurants forever and can tell that the towels are washed with all the restaurants stuff. Kinda nasty seeing how I paid 320 for two nights.

Room not ready even when we checked in late after 7 PM due to which we were even more delayed for the evening event to go to. The front desk person at night was horrible, rube and totally useless. She said the manager would get in touch with me next morning and nothing. I requested since our room wasn’t ready even though we checked in late to get a late check out next day…I was immediately shutdown, I requested if I they can do anything else to accommodate like maybe comp my valet parking or something…the front staff didn’t really care to listen or help. Iron board in my room was broken and I had to iron every ones clothes on the floor

Noise all night in room next door. From yelling, banging, running, to constant flipping of loud get switches. All night. I should have requested to switch rooms

Check in was 300 arrived at 700 and was told our room wasn’t ready. They had a wedding party going in and could barely hear the receptionist because the music was so loud. Had to wait 30 minutes in the lobby with our bags was comped breakfast but really. Just unprofessional. Then the room had a big coffee stain on the flood that had not been cleaned and they had no rooms to switch us into until the next day.

Everything was great except the television had terrible reception and kept freezing constantly. Strange in 2025

I didn’t realize this property was downtown. It wasn’t as nosey as i expected. You can literally walk to the metro which is very nice and there’s plenty of dining options. The food was also delicious at this stay.

Having a free shuttle to MD Anderson center was important, and we did not expect a private car with a nice caring driver to take us and pick us up. The valet service staff are why we will return, they were so kind and helpful each day during our week stay. The room was comfy, pool and gym wonderful and the Terrace 54 restaurant staff and food were awesome!

Excellent service and great location to enjoy Houston and see Beyonce! We loved the roof top pool and small touches of treats for the guests like pastries at the entry. Overall though the staff and their high level of service is what would bring me back.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean. I liked the area rug. The pool area was amazing.

It was a nice property.

you charge $6 + tax for what is a free coffee in every other hotel i've stayed in (100+ this year so far) and have the gaul to ask for a tip?!? the room was tiny, i wasn't able to sit anywhere to put my shoes on. why are the chairs in the room so high? what's with the expensive food and drink? why can't i park my own car? why did the valet staff look at me like i was dirt when I didn't tip them? I won't be using a westin ever again.

Valet parking is only option and while convenient, it is pricey, on top of high cost for a modest minimalist style room.

Overpriced for what it was. No water pressure for shower. Limited options for dining, but on location restaurant was excellant but very pricey

Great gym and we enjoyed our room

From the moment I pulled up and drove off from here the service was beyond excellent! Staff is helpful and friendly. The food and service in the Terrace 54 is wonderful! I loved the gym and pool as well. This is great for solo and couple stays . I felt safe and comfortable.

Right across the street from Methodists Hospital wich is great since I travel for my doctors appointments.

Dirty room, no microwave, expensive parking, noisy, thin walls, outside noise.

I will defiantly be going back!

Staff was nice and always available when you needed them I would recommend anyone to stay at the hotel it’s clean always the food was amazing from breakfast to dinner food was 10/10

Great hotel in a great location

Wonderful staff. Restaurant food was excellent. Waters could use some training. Always standing around a not seeing to the needs of customers. Our main waiter was very friendly and great but not real attentive.

Exceptional service and attention to detail. The staff was friendly and so helpful. We were in town for a concert and they were very helpful in telling us how to get to the stadium on the trolley. The next day, we were asked how the concert was. The room was very nice as well. We will definitely be coming back!

The Westin never disappoints. Always smells great, is clean and has wonderful staff. Loved James in the restaurant at breakfast.

Everyone at the Westin was friendly and helpful. The parking valet team and restaurant servers were especially helpful and accomodating.

Nice property. Bed very comfortable. Loved the scent of the toiletries. Parking astronomical, but understand that's not on the hotel and probably how the medical district continues to grow.

My shower was clogged throughout my stay I complained numerous times and nothing has been done. Might think twice about staying at this property next time I’m in Houston.

Absolutely fantastic facility, for a great price. Location is nice, outside of the hustle of downtown Houston. The amenities are fantastic down to the infused water at the entry as you wait for your valet

Great place all so friendly ,bar reataurant.cloae to lical shops for dinner. But parking coat $12 an hr so over night stay at hotel cost $ on top of room. So i just parked accross at other hotel for $15 the night.very nice gym.

The weather was warm, but the room was already set to a very cool temperature, which I loved!!! All the decorative lights had been turned on. It felt very welcoming. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had to call the front desk to figure out how to turn off all the lights’. Too much technology even with the elevators! Food was delicious and our server, James, was wonderful!!

This place is amazing!!!!! So beautiful, clean, and accommodating. I had 2 children and they were so sweet and perfect to them! They took thee extra step to help me with them! Parking and so on!

The hotel was beautiful and the room was clean!! Love smelling the cleanliness of the sheets, the pillows and bed were comfortable and the room was very nice and updated. I would stay here again!
