Stayed here for a concert at The House of Blues. It was about a 10 minute walk which was great so we didn’t have to uber. I loved that the room was very clean and spacious. The woman at the front desk was so sweet and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was great also. No complaints.

Rooms were clean and we were able to set the air conditioning down low to suit us. Staff were friendly. Close to some of the towns amenities and a bus ride away from others.

The people at the hotel was the most positive part of my experience. We had to switch rooms many times which was annoying but Jenny and Byran were amazing with us. The challenges we encountered with the different rooms.

The room was clean and tidy. The check-in process was quick. The only confusing thing is that there are 3 hotels in one building and it was difficult finding the correct hotel. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

Waze had difficulty with location from address, street level marking are challenging. you can enter through any of the entrances and move through various Marriott hotel lobbies to reach this one.

The welcoming team was really helpful and nice, especially Jenny and Bryan. Many issues with the different rooms I’ve been in (smell, constant buzzing, leaks in the bathroom)

The Springhill Suites overbooked and moved me to the courtyard Marriott. It has been incredibly difficult to get a receipt or any thing from them saying that I stayed with them.

Great staff, clean rooms. Decent breakfast. Pool was nice but chilly (understandable, we stayed in March). EXCELLENT location.

Clean, quiet room. Nice offerings and variety at the breakfast buffet. Good location. Couldn’t justify their parking cost, but several garages nearby had in&out multi-day parking at a much better rate. We reserved one on SpotHero.

Also, I was held off money for every day of my stay (on top of my full bill fully paid on day one) that will eventually be returned to me and no one could tell how much or when it will be returned. And they where extremely rude to me when I asked this. I will never stay at US marriott hotels again.

Pool Random charges for no reason that employees could not explain. Charged two separate times for $120 and $180. When I asked the employees about these, they could not provide an explanation. Very weird and unusual. This was not the $50 a night security deposit, but two random charges for no reason.

The room was fine, very clean, the only thing that's inconvenient is the elevator which makes a terrible noise and doesn't let you sleep peacefully, obviously if your room is close to it. The valet parking service takes too long to deliver your car and that's not good either.

Buffet break was sparse just cheap food. Understaffed, had issues with room access, phones not working, elevators not running, noise, it was not a good stay.

Friendly staff - from the patient and personable Travis at reception to the cleaning staff who refused tips and the valet parking guys always greeted us with a smile. The room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable although I do wonder how often the duvet gets washed (it was between two sheets and not in a cover). The shower was hot was fantastic pressure. We were nervous about being on the 2nd floor where the dining room and meetings rooms but we heard no noise and were not bothered by breakfast smells. On the negative side a frosted glass bathroom door is not a great idea as the light shone onto the bed. We also could not find stairs and had to take the elevator up and down one floor which was annoying

The rooms were nice and roomy. Breakfast was good and most staff was friendly. When we checked in the night clerk was not all that friendly. Saying that, she was not rude at all. The worst thing is that the unadvertised price for parking is $55 + tax per day for a total of just under $60.

The cleaning lady that was working on our floor didn’t take the trash as we requested. She or someone else put it back inside our room after we left. Plus, I had to ask for conditioner because mine was empty and we had asked that the bedding to be replaced in one of our rooms because my niece had spilled BBQ sauce on it. None of this was done as we had requested. I had to walk with the Security guard to 4 different floors to find another bed spread that was too small. Plus, the AC was stuck on 65 and my niece is now sick and has an upper respiratory infection. Which the ER said is from the room not being cleaned properly and the AC unit being dirty and too cold. To top that off… I have photos of my shower and bathroom walls and areas that were not cleaned properly. There was an orange bacteria in the shower, with damage to the shower door and water damage to the vanity area. Black mold looking stuff along the baseboards. So, NO, I’m not happy with our stay. We paid way too much money to have all these issues!!!

The place was clean and quiet and super conveniently located for the marathon that I was there to run. The main bed in the room was comfortable and the staff was nice. The mattress on the pull out bed that my daughters slept on definitely could have been better.

I checked in on 2025.12.20 & checked out on 2025.12.27. There was no hot water on 2025.12.24, resulting in my family’s unpleasant experience of showering with only cold water on Christmas Eve. I was told the Area General Manager would be in on 2025.12.25. I emailed him asking to meet in person that day, but he didn't reply until 2025.12.29, stating that he was not in the office then. Other disappointing experiences were a lack of Wi-Fi for hours periodically during my stay, & on 2025.12.27, my key card did not unlock my room's door despite me using it before the check out time. A staff gave me another key card, but it couldn't unlock my room's door too. After repeated back & forth trips to the room & the front desk, a staff was sent to the room. Despite the situation’s urgency, she walked slowly to the door. She realized the door's lock was out of battery. She then called someone to change the battery. By the time someone else changed the door lock's battery, that significantly delayed & disrupted my travel plans. The lack of hot water, poor communication from the staff, & aforementioned situations caused lots of inconvenience to my family & me.

Property is very old and needs updates ASAP. Rooms are very large, that helps, but they do need to be remodeled. There are 3 hotelss on the same building and can be very confusing. PARKING ONSITE IS FOR $60 per day, or else, you need to go 3 blocks away. The are is not necesarily unsafe, but it feels unsafe. There are lots of homeless people laying on the florr, lots of tourists driving scooters, there is athe metro that runs a block away, there is a stop roght there. Suggestion, do not rent a car. Use uber or the metro, much cheaper and less hassle. The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. But the cleaning is not good. Floors were dirty, my bed one time was undone on the corners or using the imcorrect sheet size, and the first day even had a huge stain of coffee, or something like that. Had to ask them to bring new sheets, snd though they offered to send somebody to do the bed and I said no, they didnt insist either or offer apologies for the mix up. I was tired and wanted to sleep, we had arrived from the airport late and found my bed being like that. There are restarurants in the area, and is a walkable area, but I suggest only during the day. I stayed at the Springhill Suites and I didn’t mind the stay however they put us on the 14th floor right next to the laundry chute and the whole floor smelled like a dead body was up there. That is horrible.

Comfortable even for 5 adults sharing a room. Parking and getting around was a nightmare. The courtyard grill and fryer was broken so we were not able to eat on site for dinner. We rode the streets for an hour looking for some place open to eat. Breakfast was good in the mornings and held us up all day for our excursions. Would definitely stay again! Thanks for a good vacation.

I stayed for 5 days. The hotel is nice. It is very convenient to things downtown. The weight room was useful. Front desk staff was helpful. Just wished the maid would have taken out the trash and cleaned bedding during my stay. I shouldn’t have to ask for clean towels after 3 days.

Great location and price plus the staff was nice.The only issue i had is the shower had no place to place my bar soap or my wifes liquid soap. We literally had to place them on the shower floor while taking a shower. Room 1213. Im not sure if all rooms are this way.

The room was very spacious, the beds comfortable, and the bathroom setup was good with shelves to place items. There was no hook on the back of the bathroom door to hang our travel toiletry bag. It was pretty noisy at times, which is understandable with being downtown, but we heard loud cars/motorcycles and larger trucks with their “backing up” sound quite a bit and clearly. Breakfast was amazing! Turkey sausages, cage free scrambled eggs, oatmeal and several toppings, and the best waffles I’ve had from a hotel in a long while! Very soft and fluffy! Chocolate, whole and 2% milk in bottles/cartons. Overall, we were a little skeptical initially, but after our trip, we were satisfied with our experience here. Don’t forget to get Frank’s Pizza delivered and tip well because they are always extremely busy and deliver on bikes! Get the classic pepperoni and/or simply cheese. The “cheese sticks” were also delicious.

It was pretty noisy at times, which is understandable with being downtown, but we heard loud cars/motorcycles and larger trucks with their “backing up” sound quite a bit and clearly. Breakfast was amazing! Turkey sausages, cage free scrambled eggs, oatmeal and several toppings, and the best waffles I’ve had from a hotel in a long while! Very soft and fluffy! Chocolate, whole and 2% milk in bottles/cartons. Overall, we were a little skeptical initially, but after our trip, we were satisfied with our experience here. Don’t forget to get Frank’s Pizza delivered and tip well because they are always extremely busy and deliver on bikes! Get the classic pepperoni and/or simply cheese. The “cheese sticks” were also delicious.

Only one ice machine in the entire hotel seemed to be working. We had a little trouble figuring out how to get in.to the hotel Three Marriott properties together with confusing exterior signage made us unsure where to enter.

No hot water the first night. Very slow elevators. Internet went down so we waited for about 45 min after getting into Houston around 9:45pm. The fitness center was good and room was well cared for. But there was the smell of Marijuana on our floor

No airport shuttle for guests, only 1 elevator working so wait times were ridiculous, we were on 16th floor. The pool is shared with another hotel and literally only 6 lounge chairs by the pool. Plenty of room for more. Staff and cleanliness were great. More care needs to be taken for actual property. A hotel of this size should offer airport shuttle.

The Hotel was great and the staff and service were wonderful. The only issue was we had minimal hot water for one of the mornings, most likely a boiler issue, but it was resolved later in the day. I would recommend.

We stayed two nights. There’s nothing in the description of the hotel saying that they’re going to charge you $60 a night to park a car. It’s only posted on the teeny tiny valet stand that if they’re busy, you will never see because you’re waiting for someone to come get your car out in the street. From floor nine down to one only one floor has a working ice machine and you don’t know until you go to all of them to find ice. We had no hot water the first night lukewarm water the second day. They kept saying they were going to call the elusive engineering team, but nothing ever got fixed. The people that work there most of them were very positive. But the lady, I ended up with this morning on our checkout morning, which was at six because we had to leave early was not helpful at all and could care less what I was telling her about the room after I had already called to the front desk and complained both times we had no water and no ice machines on any of the floors.

Everything was good, staff are friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good but there was one thing that we didn’t like, was that there wasn’t any parking for guest staying at the hotel other then vale parking

The ice maker clearly had not worked in a longggg time, calcified water was dried allllllll over the floor. The elevators get stuck on the 6th floor regularly, which may explain why they don’t bother to clean it. It is disgusting. We have not been this unhappy with a hotel stay in years. If there had been a way to get a refund and go pay twice as much, and have to drive twenty minutes to get downtown, I would have gladly done it. I asked, no refunds, despite ending up with a migraine from the mold in the room due to humidity level. We stayed outside by the valet for hours to avoid going to the room. I will say this, the staff was wonderful, from valet to front desk, to housekeeping. All just as kind as could be, but their hands are tied. It’s up to owners to solve these issues. I have always loved Marriott, this was shockingly disappointing.

The hotel was nice except that there was no hot water. The water was luke warm at best. Made for an unenjoyable morning shower.

Great downtown hotel, walking distance to entertainment and retail. Our suite was spacious, clean, and comfortable. Accessible bathroom had all modern accommodations.

Perfect spot for business trips

It was amazing. Better than I expected. The staff and room were the best.

The room was great! The only problem were the people in the next room yelling and running around in the hall at 1 am!

The hotel room was nice and clean. The staff were friendly. The only thing I would warn guests about is the bill. When we were checking out, I asked for a hard copy of the bill. They were charging us for Valet Service and a MasterCard fee. We did not use the Valet Service. It was promptly taken off when we told them, but how many times have they gotten away with that? Just check your final bill.

I received a notice less than 12 hours before I was supposed to check in that they sent me an email that stated that they "could not accommodate my reservation" and placed me in a hotel over 15 minutes away from my convention. When I requested to speak to the agent, she said she had 'left the property and someone would follow up in the morning'. Which turned out to be false, when I called the front desk the person told me she was still there. Inexcusable.

Hotel definitely shows its age. Only one elevator worked while we were there and with 15 floors that's an issue. Breakfast was very good and staff very professional. Rooms are big and bed comfortable. Good for short stay. Well situated downtown.

Excellent venue!!

Out of the several elevators in the hotel, only one was functioning. Long wait times for every elevator ride due to this. I found this to be inconvenient and bothersome. There was also loud road noise in my room throughout the night. I won't be staying at this hotel again.

This building has mutiple hotels within, so that was a bit confusing. Also there were several broken elevators and if you needed access you had to walk to the other side of the building to take an elevator up to you room.

Heating wasn’t working in our room, and it took two attempts for maintenance to repair. Sink was blocked, and shower water was only tepid. This hotel seems tired and run-down.
