    At the price point we were surprised to find no bottles of water in the room - - - although there was a filtered water dispenser on the drinking fountain. As a Marriott Bonvoy member we weren’t offered any water at the front desk or any other upgrades. The rooms are excellent and appear to be recently remodeled. Staff all friendly and helpful. The food selection for breakfast is pretty sad - even by free Hotel breakfast standards. No hard boiled eggs at all - - - for example.

    There were roaches. We checked in & came back to a baby roach on the kitchen counters. The next day, we saw an adult roach on the walls in the hallway. We checked out early right after. The room was outdated. The shower faucet was so delicate. To turn on the shower, the little handle almost ripped off the faucet. The shower temperature only had steaming hot water, so my kids couldn't take a bathe properly without yelling & screaming bc it was too hot. The only faucet that was safe to use for my kids was the bathroom sink that had both cold & hot wayer temperatures working. The kitchen sink was really hot too. The swimming pool was dirty. The only thing nice was the breakfast with its options. Never booking again. Its cheap for a reason. Get something pricer that'll be worth the bang for your buck.

    Friendly staff My room was not very clean. There was hair on the bathroom floor. The trundle bed does not have a barrier between the couch cushions and the bed itself. When I pulled the bed out, there were crumbs and dirt all over the sheet.

    Our tv didn’t work. Took 2 people to fix it. Handle on bathroom door fell off. We had medium sized spider in the bathroom. 2 roaches in the bathroom. One crawled out of the clean towel area. The refrigerator wasn’t cleaned out. A bunch of cheese was left in it.

    The room was clean and comfortable (just a bit warm, because there was a small couch in front of the AC wall unit - and we do believe that that prevented the return of the flow of air in the room). Breakfast was a bit complicated (we though it was complimentary and a buffet and we arrived to breakfast early Saturday morning, it took longer than we expected and the service was not great. Sunday was better and we even got a kids’ menu that was super helpful). Communication would have helped as we believe management had changed.

    Customer service at this hotel is horrible. We had to check out early due to a flight cancellation. I contacted the front desk who approve it then when I checked out they told me they couldn't check me out but they would make sure the refund was approved. When I received the bill and contacted them, they said they wouldn't approve it. i would recommend NOT staying at this hotel.

    Very friendly and helpful staff. The elevator is a bit clunky. Room cleaning was "every other day" and they didn't replace my towels, so I had to go ask the front desk. The accommodations were very roomy.

    We checked in at 10pm, got to the room and the thermostat was on 80. No problem, turned it down and went to bed. Woke up at 2am and were hot. Temperature in the room had not changed - still at 80 in spite of setting being at 72. Did not feel like asking anyone at that time to try to fix it or move us so just lumped it until the next morning. When we told the front desk about it the clerk said that the new rooms are set up so that if no movement is detected the a/c goes back to the higher temps. We point out the obvious that when sleeping we don't move around much and the clerk, rather indignantly stated that we should have held the three buttons down on the thermostat to stop the auto adjust feature. There was nothing on the thermostat to indicate this (and in fact, there were four buttons on the thermostat so which to push anyway?) and no one at the front desk told us about this at check-in. It is bad enough that the a/c does not work in a room that you pay $190 bucks for but the attitude of the clerk just made it worse. We should have insisted on a reduction in our charge but did feel like arguing about it. In addition to the a/c and attitude, the complimentary breakfast was poor at best. Cold eggs and cold hash browns sounds tasty doesn't it?. It is too bad - otherwise it is a pretty nice place. No way it is worth the $190 though. We would definitely recommend looking and staying somewhere else.

    The negatives: our room was on first floor facing the parking lot. We had so much light from the parking lot coming around the curtain that it was difficult to sleep. There is also a lot of road noise as the hotel is located very close to a highway. There also was no hot water- showering was miserable.

    The hotel was shutdown for renovation with no hotel staff to help. Only a few construction workers on site. I was sent an email that reservation was canceled from personal email so it was not enough for booking.com. I had to go to location but still didn't solve anything

    Worst Marriot I have ever stayed in. Didn't know they were under renovation when I booked. The building and neighborhood is not welcoming at all. Stains on the carpet, sink didn't work, rust in mini fridge and on bathtub, had an odor that was making my head hurt. Only stayed for 3 hours of my 5 night. Front desk staff was nice though. As a Bonvoy rewards member and a human being, I was disgusted with this hotel. I DO NOT recommend anyone stays here.

    The property is undergoing construction. The temperature in the lobby is hotter than the Texas air outside. I’m not kidding, it’s sweltering inside! While talking to the desk attendant, I was bit by bugs! One tried to fly into my purse and then the rest attacked me! There’s a sign on the desk that says “No TV. Internet working.” The desk attendant offered to give me a $20 refund on my total bill if we checked in. We did not. If there’s bugs in the lobby, I can just imagine the rooms.

    There was no indication when booking online that the property was under construction. When we arrived there were dumpsters in front of the property and the building looked like it was falling apart on the outside and no sign that said we’re open, pardon the construction. Then we find out the televisions aren’t working in the entire building. We would have never booked if we would’ve known the conditions.

    After a very long day my partner and I finally arrived at the hotel (August 4th) We had been calling all day because the reservation was accidentally made for the 5th but we got no answer…guy at front desk helped us switch it over no big deal. We go into the hotel room and I immediately am HEAVILY disappointed. A weird smell took over the whole room and I had to use half a bottle of spray to mask the old moldy odor. I walk to the sink to brush my teeth only to find a hair…I walk into the bathroom and find short pubic hairs around the toilet…DISGUSTING!!! I open the shower and find long black hairs all around! I walk over to the bed look at the sheets and there’s an odd stain right next to the pillows. The floors were not clean at all…for $150 a night I feel like the least they could do is vacuum and clean up the bathroom! Heavily disturbed so we left and could not even speak to the guy at the front desk because he was napping! Absolutely appalled by this establishment.

Upon arrival we found that location completely shutdown and was told it had been that way all day. We were forced to make other arrangements in very bad weather and amongst many in the same situation.

Although there was visible handprints throughout the room, not sure if those were from past guests or housekeeping. The breakfast was the bare minimum, bacon, eggs, cereal, oatmeal, and toast. It didn’t seem as if anyone was attending the breakfast area to upkeep and refill the food, so no bacon available.

    Check in was easy. Room was very spacious. Ice machine leaked water in hallway the entire stay. Housekeeping never came to clean room or replenish towels. We found ants all around the kitchen sink by microwave upon check in. When we asked for more towels we were told they didn’t have anymore til the morning. When morning came front desk was rude saying we should have towels after we sat the used towels out for housekeeping to pick up. We had to clean and empty our own trash.

    I don't usually write reviews for hotels but this one was extra bad. We were first given a room that smelled very bad and they changed our room to another. The pool was closed and it was indoor. The front desk person wasn't there half the time, for checkout, I stood there for 15 mins and no one came out so I just left and called them after. Breakfast was probably the worst breakfast ive ever seen with a hotel offering two options for hot food and 2 cereals with the typical bagels and muffins. I'm always a marriott guy but definitely the worst Marriott ive ever visited. Overall, giving 2 stars and that might be generous.

Second room smelled better but still had a stinch. The hotel itself had a weird smell that we did not like. The toilet clogged and we had to plunge it ourselves and water filled up in the tub while we showered. There was clearly a plumbing issue in that room and probably the whole hotel due to the smell. The room felt old with a few minor updates. I did not like this place and will never stay here again. I paid $170 and feel like overpaid. This hotel does not deserve to be over 2 stars.

    I was greatly surprised that a Marriott would be in this condition. There was dark hair on the floor in the bathroom, that was not mine. There were multiple hairs on my blanket, again not mine. There were small ants swarming my sink. The pictures I took of the ants did not turn out well enough to post. I could not get regular coffee for the coffee pot in my room. I was told they were "out." Marriott needs to rip its name off of this hotel.

    TV’s did not work. They offered to change my room. I checked out the room first and Tv’s did not work there either. Glad I checked it out first before moving all my stuff. No bar soap in the bathroom. Had to bathe with shampoo. I will not book there again.

    I had taken my granddaughter and her friend for her 16th bday, our stay was horrible!!     We checked in and were given a room with wet carpet. The carpet had just been shampooed and had not had a chance to dry. I requested a room change and so they moved me from the first floor to the second floor to a room that also had wet carpet. I went back to the manager and requested another room change. He told me that it would be dry in 30 minutes and I told him I would like a room that had dry carpet now, not in 30 minutes. They accommodated me and I finally got settled in. It’s good to know that they shampoo the carpet regularly, but I was a little offended that they just expected me to slosh around my room on wet carpet. It soaked right through my socks when I took off my shoes so there was no way I could make that work!

They called at midnight looking for the plunger. They were supposed to come at 830 with maintenance to fix the toilet. 945, still hadn’t heard a word so I asked the desk. They said they didn’t want to disturb us early. Um…we didn’t have a functioning toilet so we were up and about early. Then, it took them another 4 hours to clean the bathroom. They did not have any available rooms to move us to. They did nothing to compensate me. Expedia gave me $25 in one key credit. Definitely not a great experience.

On the second day came down for breakfast, was told the service staff had family emergency, so breakfast was canceled, i was surprised to hear a Marriot hotel does not have a backup plan. On the third day, no housekeeping service( on the first day we were asked if we want service, which we said yes, since we are traveling with kids), so we went down asked front desk, the gentleman told us, the lady who checked us in was new, so she did not put the request in, but he will make sure we get a full service the next day, which we did not get again, on top of that, our towels was not replaced too. We use to work for marriott hotel, so we had stayed at multiple Marriott brands but never had this kind of experience. It was very disappointing. We will definitely not stay at this property again

    Our room was a double queen suite. Walking into the room smelt a bit like a wet towel, the bed sheets and pillow cases on both beds had stains, the sink had no hot water and the tub was clogged so the water was up to our ankles during showers. The ac was not quiet and the mini fridge made a weird nose on and off throughout the day. We ended up immediately going to buy disinfectant and blankets as we did not sleep under their comforter or bed sheets and there were small curly black hairs ontop of the toilet tank. There were two staff members at the front desk during our stay that were pleasant and the check out process was quick and easy. The location was good and central to a lot of things we did and needed. Those are probably the only positive things about our stay.

    Warm welcoming and spacious room with clean sheets and clean carpet! The bathroom needs a complete remodeling. Everything else in the room is new and updated besides the TV which is pretty old. Recommendation to the manager is to ask his stuff to vacuum the elevator.

    Worst breakfast ever. Didn't have an accessible room for me, even though I reserved one. Asked for towels at 7pm, there were none. At 8am the next day, they still were not washed out dried.

    Our room was clean :-) The hallways and elevators did need a cleaning. The building looks/is more updated on the interior than it appears outside. We did not partake in the free breakfast so cannot speak to that. There is moderate traffic noise.

    Also the OJ selection had apple juice in the OJ. Breakfast without OJ? Everything in the room was what I would expect at a Marriott property. Overall I have mixed feeligs about this property. I drove from Dallas to Houston to be with my brother at the hospital. I stayed at SpringHill because it was a 5 minute drive to the hospital.

    They had no hand soap at the sinks,we had to ask( the shampoo, conditioner & body wash were in the shower. No hairdryer in room, had to ask and the one they gave us, the handle was kind of a rubber material that was sticky and can not be cleaned. Noisiest fan in bathroom, Thank God it died. The shower curtain wasn’t wide enough so water would come out of one side or the other all over the floor. My husband has a bad back , so we always book a hotel with a pool and especially a jacuzzi. This hotel checked those requirements.Room is cleaned every 3 days. The jacuzzi was 78° and my husband told the front desk.Apparently maintenance wasn’t allowed in the property ( maybe because they weren’t getting paid by Marriott? Just a guess). Needless to say, the hotel was at about 25% capacity at best, so if one person complained, so what .. they are saving money not keeping the jacuzzi heating at a day at 101°-103° Lots of cost cutting throughout the hotel was obvious.Lots of hand sanitizers with nothing in them. The elevator had no fan all you could smell was oil. No smoke detectors in the room. The breakfast was ok , Do not book this hotel if you are staying more than 1 night. It was a nightmare. Mayzik at the front desk was nice but his hands were obviously tied , he couldn’t help much.

    The property is nice, service is great but I will NOT return to this property. There was a security guard working, yet the car parked two spaces away from me had all four wheels stolen over night. We were parked between the front lobby and frontage road. Not in some dark corner or around the building. What's the point of a security guard? Not one wheel stolen, all four stolen. Car was left on bricks.
