Looks like just switching owners. Place was very clean people were nice. Hotel back door was left open over night every night I was there. I think it was for the smokers or whatever else that was happening. I would highly advice the hotel not to keep there exit doers open all night due to safety concerns other then that it was a nice stay

I paid for a booking after bad weather at the airport canceled many flights, I had a confirmed booking, and arrived at the hotel only to be told there were zero rooms available. Completely unacceptable. I will remove this review upon full refund. Zero goods or services were rendered for the money I paid. Extremely upsetting experience. Front desk staff were apologetic, but could not really do anything for me. This may be a decent hotel, but I would not know; Zero stars for zero rooms.

I had a great stay with Sonesta and would visit w this hotel again in the future. The room was clean and staff was very responsive. The shuttle service e was very timely, I waited appx. 15 min before arrival of my shuttle. I was pleased with my stay.

The hotel and rooms seemed to need a lot of maintenance. Parking is confusing because the lot is same as Comfort Inn next door. Coffee in the lobby sucked so bad I couldn’t even get through half a cup.

I didn’t like my stay. The room had a very unpleasant, musty odor, and the bathroom was dirty. Additionally, the bedroom door lock was faulty and came off easily, which was a safety concern since my one-and-a-half-year-old daughter could open it without any problem.

I got stuck in Houston after my flight got canceled and wasn’t offered a hotel voucher. Got on Expedia found this hotel down the street and quickly booked it while it was a great price. Check in was easy and the room was nice. What sent it over the edge was the fact that they offered a free shuttle back to the airport the next day so I can fly out.

The bed was awesome, i really need a great big comfy bed to sleep after 25+ hours without sleep, the personal was awesome as well, they let me get the room prior to the chek in time due availability, so really grateful for that. Overall great one night stay.

Stayed at this Sonesta at the airport because we had an early flight out. We asked if the parking lot was secure and of course they assured us it was. Next morning our window of our vehicle was busted out. They acted like it was an every day occurrence and we’re not responsible. Will not be staying there again.

Staff. Airplanes right over head all night! Two Sonesta’s IAH, same name but 2 miles apart. Shuttle took me to wrong one.

We were stranded at the Houston airport because of weather issue and the pilot has timed out for the day. We booked a room here through Booking.com at the same night. When we got there at 2am, we were told that we didn't have any booking even though it was confirmed by Booking.com. We didn't get to stay in here.

we didnt eat but saw people eating we had coffee to go and it was good,//** I was asked for a 100.00 dollar deposit for the room, i told them that we booked with Booking.com and Booking did noy ask for, he waved it But?? we dont smoke or tear up any rooms i felt as if they think we would do such a thing at my age........ the hotel asking for a one hundred dollar deposit

The shuttle service is a scam. Waited for over an hour at the airport and some other shuttle driver had to pick us up because they weren’t showing up and they closed it down at 11pm. And it was 10:58pm.

The staff member on the front desk as very friendly and helpful. The location was handy for an airport stay, and there were some food and drink places next door. The bed was very comfortable. The shuttle transport was easy to arrange, and the driver was wonderful. We saw a cockroach climbing up the wall which made us feel quite uncomfortable. The room was fine but generally tired looking. There were bugs in the bread and bagels at breakfast, and it was generally very poor quality. I think every machine in the gym was broken so they need to fix it or close it as it’s quite dangerous.

Location room was pretty decent The pool was filthy couldn’t swim. When I checked out the guy running desk was not there then came to the front with head phones on and a phone in his hand never properly checked me out told me to leave key and walked to the back area again never got a receipt

Close to the airport Parking was ridiculous. Said it was recently renovated. The door and the bathroom door would not close properly. The toilet did not work without taking the cover off and giggling the float every time. The bed and pillows were VERY uncomfortable. The carpet felt dirty.

Shuttle service. Coffee in morning was decent. Did not eat breakfast there. Not sure if it was included but it didn’t look inviting. The hotel is definitely not renovated! There are stains on carpet and dents in the wall. Although advertised there is no coffee maker in the room while cups and creamer for coffee are there. Coffee in lobby was not available when we checked in but there was some in am. Worst of all was that there are no bedside lamps on either side of the bed and most outlets did not function.

I like the convenience it's near the airport the price is always right the only thing is it should be more places to eat it's only for that see you would have to have a car or lift or Uber to the other places for lunch or dinner.

For Star the inside of the hotel lobby looked very outdated and the hallway on the first floor going to the elevator looked terrible. The door going up the stairs was in bad condition looked like it was going to fall as soon as you open it.

Lousy service. They make you call a thousand times to give you instructions for the shuttle and is already fall. Super bad planning and organization: they should ask how many people and offer more transportation or not offer anything at all

The room was absolutely terrible! There was a period stain on the covers and a bandaid in the towel that the provided! Like did they even clean the place. And when brought to the managers attention he rolled his eyes and stated that all he could do was give new blankets and towels. Absolutely disgusting, I would not recommend this place!!

The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was decent. My complaint is how much nicer the place looks in their pictures when it is really kind of run down.

The hotel is close to the airport. The hotel was easy to get to from Beaumont. The hotel was easy to check-in even thought it was 11pm when we got there. There was plenty of spaces to park and easy to get back into the hotel. The room was spacious and clean. It was a quick overnight stay but would stay there again.

We were greeted in the room with a live roach. The toilet seat was broken, and the toilet paper holder was barely hanging on the wall. We immediately called down to the front desk. The desk clerk moved our room across the hall to a room that was not much better. The chair in the room was covered/stained with human body fluids, the toilet seat in this room was also broken, and a couple of dead roaches on the floor. It was late and we were exhausted, so with no alternative but to leave, we bit the bullet and stayed. But it was GROSS! Shame on Sonesta to allow a location to exist in this condition

Its like someone's drunk uncles was hired for maintenance. Neighborhood also sketchy. I went down to catch an uber at 3:30 in the morning and there were two cops hauling out a homeless guy who snuck into the hotel. This place needs to be investigated and shutdown. It smelled like day old fried donuts, too.

Hotel in poor condition

Overall our room was adequate. The beds were comfy and things mostly clean but there was plaster hanging off the ceiling on top of the AC unit, the hallway carpets were old and AC did not cool as well as it should so it got a bit hot at times. Breakfast was ok but there was a power outage, not a fault of the hotel, which made the stay less than stellar. But if you just need a low cost place to stay the night before an early flight then this place will do.

I let him know I didnt know my way around the airport and he made sure to explain to me where to go through to get to where I was going.

Shuttle service was very good, very timely both trips. This property is close to the airport. Budget friendly restaurants within walking distance. Property was good for budget minded guests. The bathroom was clean, as well as room. Essential is a good word for this property. Basic furniture, nothing outstanding but it worked. The bedding was the plus, so comfortable. Pillows were ok. Property condition is 6.5, but room rate was very reasonable so I won’t be negative.

Our first impression was not great. 2 hotels share the same address. We were not in the first, nicer looking, hotel. We were in the one behind the nice one. The carpet in our first room looked very old and dirty. The shower knob would not turn at all. The manager did compensate for that room by giving us a suite. The suite was very nice and we had only one complaint, they need at least one flat pillow in each room. The pool area does not look like the picture on the website. In reality all the lounge chairs and the table were broken. The water was freezing as the pool gets no sun. The pool area was a complete turnoff. However, I was very pleased with the manager for his help.

The room was fairly nice however the Bathroom door failed to latch the curtains didn't want to close or open and the commode flushed strangely. It was a nice stay overall.

Our stay was above average. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the room and bath as well as the very comfortable bed with super linen and an excellent comforter.
