A very basic hard floor room, clean and functional enough for a no frills sleep space. Drainage is slow with bath and sink. Though staff helped to get WiFi connected with my phone, the WiGi was weak and, frankly, useless.

Location to NRG Stadium for Houston rodeo excellent. This is preference. I have long hair to the middle of my back and the water pressure for a shower is low. The bed is extra firm. If you like extra firm mattress and short hair for showers then the place is right for you. Wasn’t a horrible stay. My review is based off my preference only. Clean, friendly staff, great location for the Houston rodeo!

The room had an excellent TV and AC unit both looked fairly new. Great location for the Stadium and the car park was the best lit one I have ever seen. Felt safe , we will definitely stay here again if in the area.

I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside, the hotel does not look all that great and it is Almeda, but I was so happy when I opened the door to the room and it looked like it had been recently remodeled. The air condition worked perfectly and there was no mold in the bathroom. Woohoo! I gave the staff four stars because I had a few issues when I checked in, but they were all resolved before I left the office. Will definitely stay here again!

The area looked ok. The parking lot seemed safe and well lit. There's only one way in/out of the lot which keeps people from wandering around the parking lot off the street. The staff was friendly and helpful. The A/C was really cold and the room was clean. There is no breakfast or coffee in the lobby (as stated in the Hotels.com website) but that didn't matter to me. All in all Iwould definitely stay again. It's a short drive to NRG area as well. The room was really spacious and included a small sofa and coffee table. Great stay and i recommend it.

A/C worked fine. The door did not seal well at all, allows light under and around the door. The tub was not clean at all…long hair. Bed was clean. Someone gave this place 3 1/2 star rating but should only be a one star.

Exactly as described and so clean, even the exterior was clean. The location was great for the event I was part of at NRG center. After having 3 awful Airbnb experiences in a row, this was so nice. I felt safe the whole time, the floors were spotless, we always had fresh towels, there wasn't a bug to be seen, and the staff were extremely helpful and kind. I will be staying here again. We had some issues with the wifi and I would recommend bringing your own pillows. The wifi was handled by the staff and I can't blame them for not having the best pillows. But I will be bringing my own pillow next time for the sake of my neck.

Everything was very clean and loved that it did not have carpet. Ac works well and no odors. Would stay again! Not much other than the comforter is like a bed sheet, no blankets. But we took our own blanket.

Friendly, clean, no frills accommodations. Close to I-610 and Shipley Donut for quick breakfast. Not a walkable kind of area really, not much close by. Bit of an issue connecting to wifi.

In town for a NFL game with my son and it was close to stadium. Clean, comfortable, and got a free upgrade. They had a storm related power outage the night before and I got a phone call updating me on the power restoration progress twice. Super management and very helpful! Even let me leave my car there after checkout and Uber to the game and back. Would definitely stay again!

Staff was friendly. I booked two rooms for three adults. After Iwe drove almost 9 hours and got to the hotel our room, not ROOMS was a single room with one bed. I booked TWO rooms. They did switch us to a two bed one room.

When I walked into the front office, I was taken aback by the bad smell. I thought I made a mistake by booking a room in this hotel. The man at the front desk said they would not have any coffee in the morning either. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the necessary amenities. The coffee in the room tasted awful. I had to go to the nearby gas station to get decent coffee. Overall stay was okay. I will even come back and stay here with adjusted expectations.

While the staff was very pleasant and helpful, the property felt unsafe. The hotel is ran very well and kept clean. Bed was comfortable. The parking lot is very well lit. The only downside was that the highway noise was loud at times, but eventually subsided at night. For the price, cleanliness and service, you cant beat this hotel. Highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised of how nice they have made a nice old motel. They don't have coffee makers in the room and they don't have a lobby or breakfast. So don't go expecting coffee first thing in the morning. But it is a nice simple and clean motel. Not a hotel.

1.25 walk to nrg stadium, which was our reason for picking this location. We were in town for a weekend concert .Rooms were surprisingly large and very clean. Bare bones amenities . We needed a place to get a hot shower and good night sleep at a reasonable proce and that's exactly what we got. We will stay again for our next show visit.

I had to stay last minute in the Houston area when spirit airlines had a major malfunction. Because of the recent hurricane, it was price prohibitive to stay near the airport. I managed to find Scottish Inn and suites and booked quickly, Just to ensure a place to sleep for the night. Upon arrival, Gaj (George) looked after me, and he was absolutely amazing. Making sure I had everything I needed and giving me tips about the area when I got to my room, I was pleasantly surprised! It is by far the cleanest place. I’ve stayed at in ages, and it was comfortable and extra spacious. I’d had a really awful day of travel, and this was like an absolute oasis from me. I highly recommend!

Got put into a smoking room for some reason. It smelt horrible! The sheets were a faint yellow from the room being smoked in. All of our clothes smell like smoke. Very disgusting

Staff was wonderful. Bed was horrible but great pillows. Room was damp and musty. Great water pressure. Spotty TV the first 2 nights. Convenient location but bad neighborhood. Had some crazy guy on a bicycle shouting and pounding on doors at 3AM.

No amenities nearby, but we wanted a clean, safe, inexpensive room near the NRG Stadium and that’s exactly what we got. No complaints! Small fridge, microwave, coffee pot. That’s all we needed.

My biggest complaint was that on our first night in the hotel some drunk or high jack a$$ decided to drive his truck into the parking lot at 4 am and honk his horn over and over while trying to find someone he thought was in the hotel.Woke the whole place up. I finally called the desk attendant who informed me “The man is too drunk I cannot approach him.” to which I suggested maybe he should call the police. He told me that he would try that. So in an hour of this guy making a scene in the parking lot the attendant had never thought to call the police?!? I honestly don’t think he ever did. The guy never left. He wandered the walkway calling for whoever he was looking for some time after that. The whole place was just a so so ghetto dwelling experience.

Good basic room. Great for the price. No USB ports was disappointing since I left my charger at home, but had a USB cable for my car that I could have used in the room. There were plenty of electric power plugs. Don't recall if there was a tv since I arrived late and crashed. Plenty of hot water in the shower. A/C worked fine.

My wife and I are traveling cooks so a good night's sleep is important to us. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean and the gentleman that checked us in was very welcoming and friendly. He even loaned us a corkscrew! We'd happily stay at this location again.

It was a good location for why I was in town. The neighborhood was ok & I felt safe. Not many stores or restaurants nearby & there was road construction that made getting in and out a little challenging. The hotel was clean and basic and I would stay there again.

Reviews say walking distance to NRG, true but you wouldn't!! Staff member at desk, very nice. Very dated but clean. Location makes it a little tricky to pull in/out. Not far from walmart, restaurants. I would stay there again.

This hotel, based on many of our travels and stays is by far the most comfortable stay we have ever had. Great pillows on the bed and everything was very very clean. Hotel people very nice. I hope to see this chain good in other parts they have hotels.great experience.

The front desk has safety glass like a ticket window. The room smelled musty. The bathroom door had a very loud creak when opening and shutting.

The staff and management were friendly and professional. The rooms are very clean and spacious. The facility is clean and well maintained. The waterfall is a pleasant feature to hear and see while there. I will be staying here EVERY time we travel to MD Anderson, which will be many times. Having this decision solved for us is a huge load off my mind.

Excellent choice for someone attending an event at NRG. It's right about a mile walk to the stadium and we felt safe. Great customer service, clean rooms, not a single complaint! They even upgraded our room for free because they had a bigger one available! I will definitely stay here again.

Close to Arena

We chose this on proximity to NRG Stadium and the good reviews from prior customers. Very clean and you can tell owner(s) take pride in the property. Gajendra was super helpful and sweet. Upgraded us at no charge, stored our luggage when we arrived early, suggested places to see/things to do and provided top notch customer service (a text to let us know our room was ready early!) Clean, comfortable, safe accommodations at a good price...

I am guessing the person I met at check in was the owner or manager. He was so friendly and accommodating. I had made a mistake in my reservation and he went out of his way to help. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I was looking for a place that was clean, affordable, and close to NRG Center and this hotel met all of those criteria.

Deodorizer. There was no shampoo or conditioner. The lotion that was in the room looked as if it had been used. The bed was comfortable enough, not luxurious. The pillows were great. The shower had fantastic water pressure. We made this reservation last minute to be in town for the rodeo and concert. The price was more than fair for the room. Not being from TX couldn’t say much about the area. Lots of road construction in the area. We walked to the stadium but took an uber back at midnight. The room was quiet and we slept well. Overall, not a bad stay. The gentleman at the front desk was nice and helpful and spoke English well.

Super close to NRG stadium making it really conviene for the Houston rodeo. IMPRESSED with the cleanliness and friendly staff. Great prices - will come back again.

We arrived a little early and hoped we could drop off our luggage before exploring Houston and sure enough we were accommodated. We also got an upgrade to a room with a king instead of the queen we selected. Great service from friendly staff. Clean, good set up with minifridge and microwave, came in handy to rewarm our leftovers. There is highway construction around the hotel, but we had no problem navigating it. The hotel has a wall around the property so felt very safe. Close proximity to NRG stadium and close drive to shopping at Rice Village. Lots of great restaurants and shopping. Must stay. Will come back.

Loved how close it was to NRG Stadium, Well lit at night, fensing made me safe. a Little road construction close to Hotel. Main negitive, is there was some blood on bathroom door in 2 places, needs to be corrected. But over all great place to stay, I didnt hear vehicles on Hwy.... felt very safe, Lori from Southeast Tx

We stayed for 2 days, the manager was very nice, he agreed to let us check-in before the actual time and offered to show us around in the morning, he was extremely polite and professional. The room was clean, staff was friendly, would definitely recommend it. There is construction in front of the hotel, our uber left us at a gas station nearby but the manager was very nice to pick us up in his car. would highly recommend staying.

It was amazing. Incredibly clean and good sized rooms. Very helpful. Will certainly stay again. Quite close to Texas Medical Center and Rice University

Had a good trip!

I was worried the room would be loud being so close to the road but it really wasn't an issue at all. This worked perfectly during our stay in Houston for the rodeo.

Overall very impressed with our 2 night stay! We were upgraded to a larger room at no cost. The hotel is central to many Houston sites, clean and very good value for the cost. My only gripe is that there was no free breakfast as was advertised on multiple websites and there was only one trash can in the bathroom, none in the larger sitting/bedroom area. Aside from these small things, we would definitely stay here again!

This was our second time to stay there, and I would stay there again. Only a couple of things I would change. Both times we stayed, we were in room 105. The refrigerator did not have a temp adjustment and was just a few degrees cooler then ambient temp. The freezer section was more like what the refrigerator section should have been like. Could not refreeze our ice packs. The other thing is the bath towels could have been nicer. They were rather threadbare.
