location Staff was unfriendly, shower didn't work (it was cold) and the floor was sticky. When I asked if I could change rooms the staff told me no because the housekeeping had left already, so I had to shower with cold water. Then the sticky floor had no solution and the staff told me I had to turn on the AC to 60 for it not to be sticky.

Zero sound proofing between rooms. I had a family in the room next to me just talking at midnight and I could hear them as clear as if they were in the room with me.

The pool and the area around the pool. Couldn’t provide bed sheets after room service left and could barely provide us any towels. The service is bad and they don’t have breakfast.

When checking in the staff looked annoyed to check me as a guest in. Information was not passed on about having to request room turn-down service. When we asked for replacement towels, we were lead to the laundry room and told to bring down our towels and get new ones from the laundry room ourselves. When we peeled back the bedding, the bedding was dirty, soiled and had black hair on the sheets. I only hope I didn’t take home bed bugs. All in all it was a terrible experience.

For the price and my purpose of the stay, the hotel was sufficient. It's an older hotel that doesn't appear to get a lot of visitors -- only the visitors that need a place to stay with their pet, is price sensitive, and plans on only staying one night if passing through. If I were to book a location in the area again, I'd expand my search to find something better -- the extra money would be worth it.

The rooms were not clean enough, neither was the building. There were dead bugs in the pool for an entire day and we seen roaches as well as spiders in the room and the lobby. You can’t see the numbers to call on the phone or how to reach the front desk. Front desk workers were not friendly.

price is great for the area. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. Close to a McDonalds and a gas station. Laundry room was hideous and I did not use. Hotel has a shuttle which is great. Front desk was ok but the guy in the lobby was on a call on his phone all day and night. Pool looked ok but we didn't use. Room was a good size. Beds were ok. pillows are horrible. Ac worked good, but ac was dirty and dusty. Hadn't been cleaned. Room had a Fridge which temperature knob was broken so it was a full time freezer. Microwave was old but worked well. Windows were really dirty. Also missing a lot of trim pieces and window were wobbly. Bath towels are old and like sandpaper. Bath tub was rusty. Shower walls had long hair from previous user. water temp and pressure were good. the biggest issue for me was no bath fan in restroom. Although this is a budget friendly hotel, small issues could be resolved to make the experience a whole lot better. I would stay here alone but next time I will go with a different option as I was with my family.

We found a filthy room with sticky grimy surfaces, blood stains and hair on the bedding, and multiple lights in the unit not working, and dirt all the the drawers of the nightstands.

I would never book at red roof again sorry to say the whole hotel stink’s the rooms stinks. The hallway stink’s bad bed room stinks. Smell like nothing but dog piss and poop. cigarettes burn’s in the sheets pillow has dirty stains bath tub has rust dirty stains. The whole hotel is terrible. This is my honest review that I’ve seen with my own eyes. Me and my family were so disappointed just sleeping in their room in their bed had my whole body itching. Once we leave the room we had to run down the hallway to avoid the smell. It’s so terribly it makes you want to gag and throw that whole hotel needs to be shampoo with bleach however woke up out of my sleep but noise.. pool aren cool I forgot to take photos everything I’m saying seen it with my own eyes booked with the motel 3/27/26 tall just need to be honest with y’all review having people thinking that’s a good motel

Overall my stay was excellent. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the toilet in my room didn’t work properly. I had to flush it more than once even for #1.

By the airport as I had late arrival and the car rental closed at 1AM. My flight was delayed by three hours, so I didn’t arrive at the hotel until around 3 AM. After finally getting some rest, I woke up at 10:30, and by 11, housekeeping was already banging on my door while I was in the shower. I told them I had just gotten out and would be out in ten minutes, but then the room phone started ringing repeatedly. Since I was still getting dressed, I ignored itbut then they started calling my cell phone too. Frustrated, I rushed to leave the room, only to see that the cleaning crew was still working on several other rooms. So all that pressure to hurry was completely unnecessary. Later, I realized that in my rush, I left behind my $30 headphones that I had been charging overnightsomething I’m sure I wouldn’t have forgotten if I hadn’t been rushed out like that.

The price. It was very unclean and it smelled. I didn’t even want to breathe the air in the room.

If you’re into an establishment that gives a 0/10 experience this is the place for you. My highlights- adequate towels for a toddler with the feeling of thin sandpaper against your body with no soap and stains. Pathetic pillows, that I’m sure grandma has slept on back in ww2. The blankets are the same thickness as their shower curtains. But don’t worry ac doesn’t work so blankets won’t be needed. I accidentally booked this place, after experiencing this issue earlier this year. If you’re expecting sleep or comfort go somewhere else.

One out of the three front desk staff was superb. I was checked in by a guy who was great and then I ran out of towels. I called down and a man told me that the housekeeping staff would be there to supply me with more towels. The next day, I went down to the desk and the person behind the desk was dry, never looked up, and said again housekeeping will be by. The next day I went down and the same guy I checked in with gave me some towels and then said housekeeping will bring me more for the remainder of my stay. An hour later, housekeeping came with enough towels to get me through the remainder of my day and removed the old towels. I was staying 6 days.

The barking of dogs is not the problem cause we have two it the unwelcoming smell of cats and whatever animal in the hallway but the exit going to where the dogs use the bathroom.

I use hotels.com frequently and the only reason that I did not stay was because I had a death in the family. I lost points because no one would respond to me from the hotel. I thank the representative who tried to assist me, but just disappointed in the lack of response from the hotel.

Clean, comfortable, convenient — the 3 C’s! Safe location, and very easy access to Beltway 8 on the north side near the IAH airport. Very friendly staff. Pet friendly! I was working there, and we ended up staying nearly a month. Recommended!

before we went on our trip i phoned hotel about pool, we really wanted to swim, guy said the chemicals weren't right but it would be open. got there and pool closed!!again chemicals but pump wasn't running so that was false...i owned a pool ! That's 2 hotels in a row with no pool, i paid extra for a hotel with a pool, we should get some kind of refund!!

It’s like visiting a low income apartment. Not what you would expect from a hotel heading to the airport. The hallways smelled of cooking food all through the hallway. Kids running down the hallways. The room was dingy. I didn’t stay in the room I left.

Staff was rude, hard to reach, and did not want to assist when you did finally reach them. The property itself was very dirty with trash cans overflowing into the floor and being left. Trash scattered along the hallway floors; Same trash was in the same place from the time I checked in and still there at the time I checked out. There was no air in hallways and side doors propped open making it very hot with it being summer in Texas! A/C units did not cool down to temps set at in room making it hot throughout the night in the room as well. Very unsatisfactory stay.

Next to a rowdy room that had lots of kids that cried and screamed all night long and jiggled door handle that connected rooms together. No sleep. Also, not 1, not 2 but 3 large tree roaches inside my room. Safe to say, i stayed somewhere else the next night.

Due to the hurricane they accepted the reservation but when we arrived they said they were not taking reservations and expedite was not aware of that due to phone lines being down. Waiting on a refund.

I did not stay at this property and I need a refund, there wasn't any electricity.

Cool indoor pool close to the airport nice staff

1st day it was extremely loud with unsupervised kids running all over the place from the halls to the pool literally about 50 kids just out cutting up, cursing, smoking, screaming and etc.. upon arrival both rooms had roaches greeting us. One of the room walls was FILTHY & the picture was absolutely disgusting. As for my seniors room my grandma & great aunt were without power in there room for 2 hours! & this was in the night hours from 9:42pm when I made the 1st call about the power and their stuff wasn’t back on until after 11pm which extremely ridiculous and very inconvenient being that one needs a medical machine to sleep. The workers were very rude, unprofessional and unconcerned about our needs. Along with us there was other room guests complaining about the same thing in the lobby and this woman couldn’t feed her 3 children due to no electricity!!!!! Senior room: no soap, shampoo & etc they were all empty Our room: had all.. Also I requested and asked in person for a connected room being that my party was of 7 and the desk guy lied and said they didn’t have this available in this hotel and that they closed them off with wood but when we went in our rooms separate rooms literally both connected with others and there was no visible sign of closing them he just completely lied and had us separate but at least same hall..

To spend the night it is good, the smell would improve

The room walls had some substance stains. We stayed at a NS room but the halls smelled of cigarettes smoking and THC smell. The staff was helpful though for the stay. I was a bit annoy that the pool was not accessible on first night of stay.

Would never stay at this hotel again

The stay overall was a terrible experience the hotel was a 1 out of 5 our room smell was atrocious and we had to ask the front desk for everything that we should’ve had already they didn't have any clean sheets nor did we get house keeping and there was roaches i will never go to this hotel again and not to mention we had to pay a deposit that wasn't on the site when we booked it and there was a domestic violence and fight next to our room and nothing was done about it when we called front desk and there was kids left alone and loud after quiet hours.

The cleanliness of the property was not up to standard, as there was a noticeable presence of pests, specifically roaches. Despite the intervention of the cleaning staff, the issue was not adequately addressed. The sheets were merely reversed instead of being replaced or thoroughly cleaned. Furthermore, there is ongoing renovation work in the upper level of the property, which has recently been opened. It is suspected that this could be the source of the pest issue. This situation warrants immediate attention and rectification.

Truck Window Was Broke and they will not help

The cost is ok , the employees are great but the sheets were stained and fridge. No breakfast and No gym although it is written that they have it available.

The hotel was okay for the price. Our reason for staying there was the inside pool.and it was out of service.

The windows had sticky gunk. The bedsheets had stains. The floor was sticky and dirty. You can hear mice in the walls at night.

Place was very dirty and old. Nothing like the picture. Staff was average. I was supposed to stay 2 nights but I dipped after the first night.

The overall was pretty good . Very bad odor upon arriving. And the decor in the room could be better .

Covers was burnt and kind of dirty

My toilet ran over twice all over. I had to clean it up the nasty water no assistance with that. The toilet was previous showing that it wouldn't flush I made their recognizable but no one paid attention so there you have it it overflows on my first use of the bathroom..Also Had to go to the death to get the batteries to the remote control changed twice. My ATM card got stuck twice in the machine.

I like the fact they accept dogs and i dislike my next door neighbor 3dogs barked all day and night

Very clean!

First our booking was wrong. Then the ac in one of the rooms was not cooling, had to move rooms opposite side from my family. Sheets were stains, pool not working, VERY DISAPPOINTED! Cherry on top no hot water.

The rooms were clean but I asked for a Smoke-Free room. I smelled smoke immediately entering the room and cigarette burns on the top blanket. Bathroom was really small and awkwardly arranged with the bathroom door. House keeping was rude trying to make me leave even when I paid for a late checkout.

Loved this hotel the staff is amazing as you walk in it smells clean the room is clean the beds look new very comfy the tv is big fridge in room microwave it was amazing and we have been to so many hotels I would definitely stay here again
