    I think because we use orbits, she put me in a room with no light. The lights on the wall did not work. The TV did not work and she still wanted to keep me in there then she moved me to a new room. The bed must be 50 years old horrible and microwave didn’t work and she was pissed that she had to bring me a new one with a huge attitude. The property has beer bottles everywhere people walking around and not safe at all. It’s disgusting outside. Beware of this place. Red Roof Inn should be ashamed of themselves.

    We stay in places like this all the time. If we come to Houston again, we would definitely stay here again. I just get so frustrated with pools at places like this. They're always filled with pee. You can't see past your hand in front of your face when you look underwater with goggles on. Other than that, the beds were fulls size but super comfortable and everything was very clean. Also, it's next door to Denny's, walking distance to a famous Mexican restaurant, and really close to Kroger's. Also, for going to and from Astro games, it is literally a straight shot for only 5 mins. So easy.

    Nothing We complained about the room being in terrible condition and the shower water not being hot but we didn’t get our refund back after leaving, we didn’t even stay there for our three days we stayed there for one night only because of how bad it was.

    The sheets were actually dirty, but because I checked in so late I slept on one side. I also found a dirty towel in the bathroom sink when I walked. There was no remote control for the TV in the room and when I asked for one turns out the TV was not even working. The African American staff was so rude and judgmental towards me. And the in the main hallway was not even working. Then when I gave a 1 rating the same lady at the front desk came confronted me about it like I did her wrong. First of all, she was not supposed to confront me like that. Second she didn’t really want to know why to improve the quality of the business.

    Upon checking in, I was given a room that contain gnats, Dirty bed, a hole in the ceiling, damage floor tiles mold, a dirty tub I raised my concern with the front desk, and I was given another room with no remote for the television, a nonworking television, and a roach infestation I woke up at 4 AM in the morning with a roach, crawling on my arm and then I left. Absolutely horrible

    Stayed one night and my Car got broken into and had to call the police. The staff did not seem to are at all and when asked if they had camera footage they said the cameras don't work and didn't even care at all. As if they knew who did it . Police could not help since there was no camera footage at all

    They need to control the people that live there. 2 3 o clock u hear them outside and it wakes up. They need more security camera or just security itself. If u can’t park there for people open tool boxes in/on ur truck there’s a big problem. Lucky there was not stolen.

    Very disappointed with my stay. The room had roaches and gnats, sticky dirty floors, an unclean shower, cigarette ends in the bathroom, stained sheets, and even old food left in corners. The property is pet-friendly, but there was dog feces all over the grass and even on the stairs to my room, which was very unsanitary. There were also people outside my room at all hours of the night, making it hard to rest. I would not stay here again

    First, my room wasn't ready. I requested 2 extra pillows before I arrived and none were provided. I asked front desk over the phone for an extra blanket because the temperature outside dropped and the front desk ignored me. The toilet had to be flushed 3 to 4 times before anything would go down. The floor was filthy because our white socks were black. The shower water was not hot just warm but not warm enough.So it was cold when stepping out of the shower. The premises had several men just hanging out near the parking lot during the day and night. My children and I felt unsafe while coming and going to our room.

We ended up throwing our socks away.. second day no maid service, garbage cans outside, overflowing. 8 AM housekeeping who does not speak English knocks on our door to give us a towels and sheets, but insists on taking the old ones first then leave we have to make our own beds and clean our own rooms. The ice machine is busted up cords are stripped out of it and a person who appears to be homeless has their iPad plugged into the outlet and is smoking pot. third day no water, when brought to the attention of the desk, clerk comes down to the room turns the water on it drips out he points to it and says in broken English, their water, what problem? He is met by a neighbor who also does not have water and has a five minute shouting match with him. We mistakenly assumed that there was a continental breakfast what we found was a coffee machine with a handwritten sign taped to it that says what you see, what you get. We stayed three nights. We were never serviced by house cleaning. We cleaned our own room and changed our own linens emptied our own trash. At the entrance to the parking lot is a mobile police station. Are they blue blinking light when you walk across the parking lot a voice tells you to please do not loiter and move along.

    There's other cheap hotels in the area that were able to provide me with their policies without attitude due to being asked questions. Red Roof needs new staff. They need to update the policies and then provide fees to consumers upfront instead of waiting for them to check-in and THEN proceeding to demand the security deposit. The Sunday I stayed, I wasn't asked for a deposit. I booked my room with hotels.com and checked in. That night, we found hair in the towels and tried to clean the stained tub, but the dirt stains were still there. It's time to update the towels and tubs. The plumbing also is bad. The toilet would not actually flush down even when not using toilet paper at all. The sink was also clogged. Afterwards, due to accidentally booking the wrong date, we returned to at least give it another try. Wednesday, I came to check-in, and the clerk at the front desk instantly got attitude with me for asking questions about the "Security deposit" I never had to pay previously. She kept cutting me off and even started yelling at me saying she didn't have to answer any of my questions. She then proceeded to call some guy on the phone who I could barely understand. He refused to identify himself, but stated if I wanted to get the key, I needed to pay 50$. I asked where I could find that info again, and neither one of them would tell me where I could see this policy. I never stayed in the room or got my key.     We selected the accommodating room with the crib. Arrived to find they had given our room to someone else, they did not have a backup crib. The floors were dirty, like they had not moped. The pool was literally a green swamp. We saw drunk guys flying through the parking lot, and drugs being smoked in the parking lot. They had one ice machine for the whole property and it didn’t work.

    Check in went well. Room was in very poor condition, smelled really bad. The room looked as if it does not get cleaned but rather just keeps getting looked over and made to look clean enough but smells really bad. Sheets were stained so bad. Location is also very poor, we felt so uncomfortable that we had to leave and move to another hotel in a different area. This place is screaming to be shut down and renovated.

    This property is in distress. My room had a hole in the wall that had been filled with something similar to a Walmart plastic bag. The seal under the door was basically nonexistent and bugs came in and out. The AC worked well. The bed was comfortable. This property is located next to a freeway so traffic sounds never stop. I was awakened at 3 AM with a homeless person or vagrant outside talking loudly. It just is not a very nice place to stay. It has a swimming pool outside, but it is floating with garbage and debris on top of the water. The water is filled with algae and is brown. I can understand if they don’t want to use their pool, but they should drain it and keep it clean. It’s just obvious that the owners or Management have given up.

    I checked in sort of late on February 16th (on a 2 night stay) so it didn’t bother me much that the tv wasn’t working that night, but I called the front desk the next day for someone to come assist me because I tried everything. I was told a message would be left for maintenance in the morning which is when I check out. Rude and unacceptable.

Very limited on the towels Very loud outside a lot of loud people outside drunk. Funny business weird vibes. I had a two night stay but checked out first night. So much for saving money please don’t stay I’ll rather spend an extra amount of money to sleep and feel safe

    The hotel is located just off the interstate which is great. However, the facilities are in need of upgrading, stayed for a week -so it wasn't unlivable but the room needed a new paint job, the floorboards were lifting on one side of the room, the shower curtain wouldn't stay open; therefore the water kept getting outside the shower and into the floor. It also needs a deep clean, the beds were clean but you could tell that there are areas or fixtures that either need to be replaced or bleached. Good for a one time but not staying again.

    The staff was very rude and unpleasant. Stayed in a room for a week with the power flipping on and off, the TV did not work, no bathroom light, and the kitchenette was not able to be used. The staff was trying to kick me off the property because I had called Expedia to complain and made me remove the complaint or lose my money and leave the property. Then I did a review and they still tried to kick me off the property.

    First room tv didn't work, they moved us to another room and roaches were every where. We left and came back to roaches all over our food and drinks. In the bathroom, on the wall.     Check was good but door handle was not secure and wobbly. Keys didn’t work so had to get reprogrammed then only one worked. Made reservation for party of four and only one bath towel was in the room so had to go get more towels. Desk attendant advised that she only had two more towels available so we had to share towels. Pillows were very very flat and sink did not drain.

    I would not recommend that anyone stays here. They don’t offer any room cleaning whatsoever. They don’t have any towels for guests, no toilet paper. The pool is dirty and “closed”. Staff is rude. Little to no amenities. The rooms trim was falling off. The rooms smelled like smoke and mildew. The flooring is lifting up from the floor, installed incorrectly. There are cockroaches in the rooms. Seemed like criminal activity was taking place. Cigarettes burns/holes all over the bedding. Just and overall terrible experience.

    The property was misrepresented on Expedia. There were roaches in the microwave and refridgerator. Maintenance was supposed to come with bug spray but never showed up. We were killing bugs for 2 days. There was no hair dryer like it said on the website, no ironing board or iron. They had a freezer in the lobby with microwave food for sale, but refused to give plastic utensils or even a napkin. The ONLY thing good about that place was Joyce, one of the housekeeping staff. She was polite and accommodating with extra towels and coffee packages.
