One night stay. Extremely clean room! Non-smoking room, large bed. Free parking - spots were available. Nice staff, they made me a coffee, even though checked in around midnight. Snack bar is available - protein bars, apples (there was smth else, don’t remember as haven’t used). Everything was fine.

I wish there were labels on the light switches! The lights had to be turned on in order for my phone to charge bedside. Other than this the place is great!

It was clean. The parking lot was very well lit at all times and had a big tall fence around the property.

Great and cordial staff, super clean, rooms are pretty much noise proofed as you can bearly hear the sounds from the very busy roads outside. Bathroom is really big! Exceeded the expectations. There's not a breakfast like other hotels, its basically some packed snacks and cookies.

The restroom was the great room . It’s clean and the toilet has it own door. No coffee maker and the trash bin is only 1 in the restroom. The bed sheet was rip .

The employees are all very pleasant and professional. I have never any issues with them. They do a very good job here.

The property was clean and maintained well. The only issue is its proximity to the service road and highway make it a bit hard to sleep. Bring earplugs.

It was super clean and had extra of everything. I’ve been to a couple hotels and none have had extra toothbrushes in the restroom. Maybe it’s just me but I think for the price and what they offer it’s nice.

My request are always accommodated. I just wish they would let me check-in earlier than 3p like12 noonish/1p. If I'm constantly being an repeated customer. Sometimes I cant wait or dont want to wait for 3p check in and i go to other hotel for 11a check in same price. My repeat customer status, be flexible, with me for an early check-in. Especially if i request a certain room that is available for me to checkin early. Without and early checkin fee. 😊 other than that i been coming on and off for the last 3 to 4 yrs. Never had an issue with any staff members. They are all still the same..

Clean, comfortable, love the bathroom, front desk people were nice. No extra fees on anything . They provide even toothbrushes for each one and makeup remover. They pay attention to every detail of things you will need. They need to be more aware of people smoking “illegal” stuff in front of no smoking rooms and no smoking areas, and cause doors don’t seal completely all my room was full of that smell all night. People inside cars smoking weed and seating on stairs late night make it feel not safe for solo travelers.

Loved the cleanliness and spaciousness of the place. We were brought fresh towels and soap each day. The A/C worked great which was nice with it being hot. Wish there were elevators and wish there was a hot breakfast, but not really a place to have that at this location.

Rooms are clean. New remodeled. Love the shower Its right off the highway so road noise nearby. Overall doesn't really effect sleep or stay

Even the pictures in the listing, the snacks and breakfast are the same—which they shouldn’t be. -The room was a bit humid and though it didn’t smell like marijuana, at times the smell in the room was unpleasant—and it came from outside (through the AC). -I loved that there were toothbrushes as toiletries, adding mini toothpaste would be a nice touch! -The plugs next to the beds wouldn’t charge when the lights were off… not sure if that was our room only or maybe a larger issue. -Appreciated the bilingual staff!

The room i had was fully renovated and was roomy & comfortable. I received excellent service by everyone i had contact with. Outstanding for the price. From the outside it doesn't look very appealing but the room was so well finished. The area is a little dodgy, but I had no problems during my stay.

The staff was very friendly. The location was okay it's by the interstate but the are was safe . The hotel was nice and clean . We definitely would stay again. No pool or hot breakfast but they offer muffins and other stuff which was nice.

Hotel is literally right next to the highway, you can always hear the sound of it, even at night. It's a nice white noise. I don't remember it ever being silent. Houston never sleeps, it was nice to sleep to

This is a newer motel. Rooms are big, spacious and modern, Decor is pretty new. Rooms are cleaned daily. It is near a major highway, so it is easy to get around Houston. The price is, IMO, appropriate for this type of property

I usually stay at the Hilton but the rooms and facilities are better at The Palace. Even though it’s not in an ideal neighborhood, I felt safe. The hotel is also right next door to several good restaurants, a planet fitness and Specs. And you can’t beat the price.

If you like being woken up or while you're taking a shower great place. First room was hot as hell second room was okay but I got rushed out and forgot some of my stuff, as hey why let someone have any time to take a shower and get going right. I was a little tentative, because of the area, but the actual hotel is nicer than some of the Hilton that I’ve stayed at.

This place is absolutely a hidden gem of Houston. The staff were friendly, and the room was in brand-new condition. I go to Houston a lot, so I have stayed at different hotels in the area. They used to have a unique “smell” which most of the time made me feel uncomfortable, but this Palace Inn wasn’t like that. Definitely will come back.

From the time I stepped into the lobby, I was instantly greeted...the female hotel clerk was very nice and it was easy to check in...the room I had was a smokers room but didn't even smell of smoke at all...😊😊😊 The room was clean and bed was fully made up... bathroom was very clean as well ...the housekeeping staff did an excellent job...this was a nice place to stay...would definitely come back...

However there was a wedding party that had booked most of the rooms and the staff notified us that there are normally rooms that are shielded from the highway noise that were booked at the time. If you are a heavy sleeper, this may not be an issue, but it was a problem for us. However, the rooms were immaculate, the refurbishing work was very well done, and the staff is friendly, attentive, professional. In fact, one of the better staffs I have had at any hotel. They listened and were as responsive as they could be, they were friendly and nice to talk to. They even assisted me getting a refund since I had to check out for reasons beyond my own control (I couldn't sleep...). I would give the staff 15 out of 10 if I could. Simply excellent. There is a variety of food within walking distance as well. And it is location next to 59, so you can get wherever you need as fast as Houston traffic will allow. The noise is the *only* reason I can't give more stars and honestly I wish I could.

Quick overnight stay, arrived close to midnight, checkin with Cindy was fantastic, superior customer service. Felt safe, not noisy given by highway, and clean room.

I was amazed by how spacious the bathrooms were, the toilet had its own door to separate it from the rest of the bathroom( might just be the double bed room feature ). Everything looked new. They even had toothbrushes with floss(it's the little things for me lol) Only only negative is me and my cousin came from Florida for a girl's trippp and we both had heavy suitcases and they didn't have an elevator. Thank God there was a gentleman who carried each of our suitcases one by one up those stairs!! Even then we were nervous for him and worried about when we had to bring those puppies back down when its time to leave smh. Please please install an elevator

Right off feeder w/heavy traffic. Personnel were quite friendly, professional and helpful. Wasn’t too sure of area, but nice remodeled room. No coffee in room. No breakfast or brunch to speak of - coffee in office lobby w/some fruit and small pkgd muffins etc.

Room Was clean. The receptionist that checked up us in 3/15/23 was very nice and pleasant. We booked a double queen bed suite for 6 and it fit all of us nicely and had a pull out couch. My biggest complaint is that we only had 2 towels in our room. We asked for them at night and were told we could not get any until morning time on 3/16. On 3/16 we asked for towels and were once again told we couldn't have any because they had to be washed. We didn't get any towels until that afternoon. And even when we asked them not to take our 2 towels (that came with the room originally) we had left our room and housekeeping came in and took the 2 towels we had hung up to dry, after we had already refused housekeeping, and they left us no towels and we went and asked for some once again and finally received them. Other than our towel issues our stay was pleasant.

It looks like a typical Inn from outside but the rooms are better than most big hotels out there. The room and environment was clean and housekeeping cleaned our room before we got back everyday. They also had coffee, beverages and snacks available all day. Other than the occasional traffic noise some nights, We had a wonderful stay.

The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable, I was marveling at the shower because it was the nicest shower I’ve ever seen. When I left for a bit, I came back to see my room taken care of nicely by room service. I would definitely stay here again, it was such a pretty hotel.

requested non-smoking room----got a smoking one /some suggestions- need more than one small wastebasket- need something to put luggage on when opening, the floor is not so good also in the shower one needs a mat to prevent falling or slipping it was very slippering-could prevent a lawsuit.

This place was extremely clean, nice and new. Very comfortable and quiet. No safety issues. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place as a safe and nice place to stay. Will definitely stay here again. The breakfast was just juice and pastries, but it was ok, as long as the place was safe.
