I got a smoking room, so obviously it has a slight smell of smoke but it also has a freshness to the air.. like a nice and clean hotel that somebody just happened to smoke in

Clean and quiet. That’s all I need.

It was a good choice for us last night. It was convenient, clean, and close to where we needed to be. Plenty of restaurants and stores in the area. Relatively new property.

I didn't care for the hand held shower head. It was kind of hard for me to use. Other than that, nothing.

The beds were very comfortable, so comfy we had to stay another night. My daughter absolutely loved her bed. The gentleman that checked us in was very nice and helpful. I really appreciated that. Clean and remodeled rooms, everything you need for a short business trip.

The room was clean and the people were very accommodating. The only “issue” was the water pressure in the shower and if coffee makers in the room is a must have for someone this place ain’t that. They do offer coffee in the lobby though. Just the rooms don’t have them. Other than that the place is fine. The curtains are amazing! They blackout the room very well! The location is great. So much to do in that area and not hard to get to all the big areas from there with highway access so close.

The room was clean and spacious and the staff were really great. Even though there was breakfast advertised when we booked, there was none. The amenities listing breakfast as being part of the price needs to be updated.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed super comfortable. The table and chairs etc was excellent and the room was spacious. Probably the only thing I would have wished for was a coffee machine in the room. Without a car it was difficult to get to any restaurants or shops without crossing main roads.

The motel is adjacent to another hotel/motel that has a lot of people I think are suspect. Its just different. Nevertheless, I would stay here again. Lastly, it was peculiar that there were cows in a little pasture across the street and the service attendant was very accommodating.

The pictures on the internet look so nice, BUT when you go there it is nothing what it looks like on the pictures!!! There is no nice outdoor area seating around a pool.... Nicole had grass and dirt stuffed in it so there's not even a pool.... It just didn't have a welcoming appearance and then the actual room was really not set up nicely.... The walls had holes in it there was a roach on the ground the sheets had cigarette Burns in them the room smelled really bad it just looks like a very cheap hotel... I would expect that room to be a $30 hotel not twice as much that plus!!!! I would never go back here

It was very nice and quiet. Easy to get to. A sweet young lady checked me in quickly and she spoke clear English. Didn't have to communicate with a foreigner like so many other hotels.

The property was in a good location and the room was largely clean it was just the shower head that was full of limescale. The bed was comfortable. My issue was that there was no luggage storage facilities; I explained I wanted to go downtown and didn’t think my luggage would be safe in the car and I was advised to pay for a storage garage - totally nonsensical. I settled at paying for late checkout but I was told a different price by each receptionist and it felt like they were making it up on the spot. I paid $40 in the end which was almost the cost of the room for an extra night. The hotel manager then lied to Expedia and said they had to cancel a booking to give me late checkout and I had a flight to catch - I did not have a flight to catch and I know they had availability as I had checked. Overall a good hotel but be careful as they’re rip off merchants and liars.

I loved the rooms looked renovated and they had tile flooring through out the room and bathroom. This is better than stinky stained carpet! There was an odor faint skunk like odor. Not sure if there was one in the area or just our room. But I swear my pillow smelled yucky like skunk. Breakfast was very continental but ok for a quick grab and go.

It was an average stay. Breakfast was grab and go and only consisted of cereal (couldn't find any milk), and individually wrapped muffins and honey buns. There was also wasps nests under the stairs so be careful.

1st room i checked into had a strong odor of Marijuana. The front desk moved me to another room ASAP. No issues other than this. It's a great place to stay if you just need a clean bed to sleep in, reliable shower, and safe place to park your car where you don’t feel like you need to peak out your window all night.

Breakfast was granola bars, fruit, and yogurt. There are no bedside lamps so you have to walk across the dark room after turning off the light. If you don’t turn off the light switches in the correct way then the outlets lose power and you can’t charge electronics while you sleep (we never figured it out, just had to experiment every night until we got it right). Good for the price though.

The hotel was clean. The table was not level. Tv would not work. Could not change the source with the remote. Shampoo provided but no conditioner. Breakfast was limited. Hard to find and get too. Gps took me past the turn. Employee seemed like he did not want to be there and it was hard to understand him.

The hotel is new and clean. Theres a yummy taco food truck down the alley past the cows. The only issue is that only 2 outlets actually worked to charge my things.

I feel that the spaces you use day-to-day are really clean, but things that are not used as often are dirty--like the top of the fridge, the stove hood, the back of the bathroom door, the door frame. There was a cigarette burn in the bedspread of our non-smoking room. There are only two bathroom towels for 4 people. However the provided toiletries were good quality. Breakfast was more like a snack. And the TV options are quite limited.

It was a rather dodgy part of town, but close to where I needed to be the next day for business but the bed was absolutely wonderful. The showerhead was incredible. I’m actually buying the same bed and showerhead. It was amazingly clean.

Only one small gripe, is that the upstairs stairwell above the guest laundry was a bit dirty, but that has to do with those of us who stay there not respecting others'rights to the walkways. Even so, I highly recommend this affordable and conveniently located Palace Inn Blue in Northwest Houston.

The main light switch also controlled the power outlets, I had to choose between charging my devices or sleeping with the lights on. The strong smell of the cleaner (bleach?) was very unpleasant/irritating but somehow the floor was still dirty.

Very clean and very friendly staff. If there is one complaint, it’s the smell of cleaner. It’s very strong & overpowering. Nice area, no elevator, breakfast is very basic. But staff & cleanliness make up for it.

Room was great. Very clean and maintained. Bed was comfortable. Friendly staff and access to bottle water and snacks any time tou needed ar at no additional charge. Only 2 minor complaints l, the pillows are not the best and there were no hangers in the room. Luckily we have family in the area we could borrow from. Would definitely stay again. Thank you

I loved my stay here! It was more than phenomenal

This is very much similar to a newly renovated motel. Our room smelled like Marijuana. Felt very unsafe when we went to sleep as people were hanging out in the parking lot.

Our non smoking room had been smoked in. That makes it a smoking room. I appreciate the updating the owners obviously did and the price, but if you tell me it's non smoking and want a good review, it had better be.

Stay here 3 to 4 times a year and it's a great place. Don't love the shower heads because of low water pressure, but otherwise a good clean room and safe place to stay in that part of Houston.

Staff was friendly. Had issue with card not working right from check in. Front desk easily fixed. AC made a loud winding sound which was rather annoying. Rooms seemed updated but floor wasnt clean. Long hair in the corner of the bathroom was a bummer. Would not go back.
