Palace Inn Blue Houston East Beltway 8

We stayed for 4 days, it was very clean!!!!! I had only one issue, it says they serve breakfast but their breakfast is only cereal and a muffin, my son has food allergies so we unfortunately had to eat take out breakfast everyday. They sold drinks in the front area of hotel for 2 dollars. My son tried to purchase 1 drink and they told him its a minimum of 2 drinks and he said he didn't want 2 drinks he only wanted 1 for the $2 so that was disappointing. But honestly I would stay here again. These little things are minor, the quality of the hotel is worth it. Its quite, staff is available all night, overall i can't wait for my next vacation cause ill be booking here.

Good price The "breakfast included" was nothing but sugar. Muffins , cereal & orange juice. My toilet seat was filthy when I arrived and the air conditioning was making a loud noise .

Check-in was quick and painless. The room was clean and the AC worked perfectly. The night was quiet and we had hot water in the morning. So, that pretty much covers anything I would have complained about, good job! I did not appreciate not being able to cast videos from my phone to the TV.

The location was good, it was close enough to downtown. The overall layout of the rooms were nice and up to date, just wish there were more amenities. The only thing that could've been better was the room service. We didn't get room service to either room I believe for the entirety of our stay. We even asked twice and told them when we would be gone so they could go in and clean but nope.

Upon check in there is a list of don'ts done are completely understandable but others No visitors No pets No excessive baggage No extra persons No smoking This is the actual list. The woman at the front desk was very stand offish the men, not so much, and I didn't expect an elaborate breakfast but I also didn't expect over ripened bananas and oranges and famous cookies. Staying in rome one twenty three towards the back.If people are coming and going out of that door and it slams at all times in the morning, there was an hour time difference from where I actually came from.So luckily, I was already up at three in the morning, because the slamming of the doors would really had did me in.. The internet stayed not working.And to I gather, that's not their fault, but out of the four days, two days I had no t v. I left the hotel and returned, I was met by eyes, making sure I was alone mind you.I was out there visiting my daughter

The room was very nice and clean. Wheelchair accessible and handicapped friendly.

We stayed on the 1st floor in the back were the door was and there was no safety lock on the door people were able to come in and out whenever they wanted to. So we would hear the door slam and open and slam and open. We expressed our concerns to the front desk but they did not care .

The name will throw you off but very clean and nice, but there are multiple locations in the city of Houston so I can only speak for this location

The Hotel is really not up to par

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice , it was clean I didn’t like the fact that we were on the 2nd floor without the use of the elevator. And I didn’t like the bathroom door. It doesn’t fully close because it is a barn door. I also didn’t know the blankets were in the dresser drawer. I was freezing the 1st time I stayed.

Second time staying at this hotel, very friendly staff and clean rooms. Close to the highway, restaurants and movie theater.

Property was clean and very affordable. The bed was to hard, in my opinion. Also, you could smell someone smoking pot, even though no smoking signs were posted.

Breakfast was very slim. Not really enough to call it a breakfast. It said no smoking but the smell of pot was so strong! I think maybe the workers or other customers were smoking weed most of the time.

Nothing I didn’t like the staff or how dirty the linen was and then when I ask for clean ones it was a whole problem. I definitely do not recommend any one staying here.

Very comfy room . Very clean . Decent location . Only 20 min from airport . “Breakfast” was literally snacks not actual breakfast. There were only famous about cookies , a granola bar, a chocolate chip muffin, a honey bun or cereal. I expected at least some eggs or oatmeal to hold us through our event we had during our stay. We had to DoorDash breakfast because those options were sugary snacks. Otherwise, great stay.

There was however one downside, they state they include WIFI which is true however I was kicked off the internet multiple times due to low connection my guess is the router was positioned far off overall weak and unstable signal, the TV's did have fine connection however I noticed my device's worked better on my hotspot and data. Other than that. . . I really enjoyed the stay! The only thing I ask the hotel staff and management to look into is possibly adding additional Access points and networking options to help guest that rely on that network usage.

I was pleasantly surprised, quite, safe. They room was clean but don't think the carpet was vacuumed in a bit. The shower was great and the water got hot fast. It's near shopping and restaurants and a movie theater. I chose It because where I normally stay was booked but would recommend. Price was good. Did not try the breakfast since I had plans elsewhere.

The first time I stayed it was an amazing experience. It was a nice and clean simple hotel. I had a room on the top floor and it was clean and pretty spacious. I booked again because of the first experience. The second time I stayed, it unfortunately wasn’t as good as a stay as the first. The second time I was placed on the bottom floor and it was so noisy 😭. The room still was pretty clean for the most part but the blanket this time around had a horrible smell so I couldn’t bring myself to use it. Also felt like the room was a bit smaller even though it was the same as the first time I ever booked. It was probably like 10-12am at night and it was so noisy outside the room. I was confused about the noise because last time I stayed the room was so quiet and you can almost hear nothing outside of your room. This time around I heard almost everything going on outside. I heard kids running around and screaming. At first I was like oh okay kids screaming isn’t to much of a problem plus it was the weekend and I’m sure they were having their fun BUT being on the bottom level sucked so bad because of the people over us. I could literally hear the person above walking around and all of their movements. I would say staff is really nice though but if you can avoid the bottom level then you will have a good experience 😭 since that is unrealistic then I just wanted to let others know of this.

It was overall a decent place to stay. The room was still a little dirty when we entered the bathroom room. Don’t expect eggs or any warm food for breakfast. All of the staff was really nice and the property looked really nice , rooms were clean and room serviced came around to see if we needed any towels or anything . They also had snacks that you can buy and washer and dryer access as well ($10 to use) i would give this place a 10/10 def would come back !

Overall is an amazing place to sleep but you are not allowed to have visitors which thankfully they worked with me because i had my hair and makeup for my wedding and my mother in law and niece came to get there hair done and stuff as well

Had to stop with my family for an emergency and as soon as we walked in it was clean n had a friendly face rooms was amazingly clean with everything we needed to sleep comfortably

Not a good channel selection either on the tv plus when it was 10am got rushed into leaving but the housekeeping staff because they wanted to clean the room even though check out is at 11am. Dont bother asking for wake up calls because they wont call you

Very nice hotel. A bit over priced for the area of town. This room was very nice. I stayed a 2nd night in a different room. The 2nd room was not as nice and needed some repairs. Also the 2nd night the people in the room above me were very disruptive and made a lot of noise. I had to complain to the manager.

This is a relatively new building, so conditions were very good and the property was well maintained. It was advertised as sound-proof, which it is not and it's beside a freeway. It was also advertised that breakfast was included. The only thing available was cereal and prepackaged pastries. Not my idea of breakfast.

Nice new hotel, boutique looking. Breakfast was more of a continental type breakfast, nothing hot was served. Cereal, fruit & coffee. The listing needs to be changed to reflect this.

My father and I visited Houston for the first time. We stayed at this hotel and the experience was excellent. Our room was everything we needed, comfortable and clean. Many thanks to the cleaning staff. The hotel in general looks new. The attention at the front desk was great. My only complaint… the breakfast. It did not meet my expectations. They offer only cereal with milk, juice bought in the supermarket, coffee and some fruits. If they could improve the breakfast it would be wonderful. Apart from this, our stay was excellent, I recommend it and I think we would stay there again.

Beautiful location absolutely for a palace and especially awesome amenities. Love the style of the room. It wasn’t it. The person was rude or mean or anything he just was real everywhere around he just follow you around everything and I don’t like the fact that they had a washer and a dryer That was not coin-operated cause there’s no slots and stuff it makes you feel like it’s complementary so I went and took one little shirt and shorts cause I spilled something on it and I had to pay $10 and I asked them not just $10 for one for however it’s $10 a load washer and dryer. That’s ridiculous that is absurd, but neither here nor there I wish I would’ve had the opportunity to it was just hate you’ll be $10 but will look to be like a sign that would be came with the new nice washers and dryers was a sign. Is it $10 to the front also I just felt like they didn’t make you feel at home I was definitely know that I was in a hotel anyway beautiful site location they could work on their customer service a lot.

Only reason I give this a 4 and not a 5 is that the beds are not very comfortable to me personally. Other than that, this is a really nice spot.

the man at the front desk was really rude messed up my whole night , he could have been nicer , room was BEAUTIFUL i loved that part of the stay but customer service gets 100 thumbs down from me and if i could get a refund i will ! never again will i stay there

Nice parking lot some food within walkable distance lots of stores nearby. Right next to highway so its a little noisier than I am used to but its not terrible.

This hotel saved the day for us, when we went to our first booked hotel and discovered it was infested with roaches. We were able to book a room around 11:30pm and it was one of the nicest hotel rooms I've been in for the price! 10/10 recommend. The front desk workers were very sweet and if we are ever back in this area this will definitely be the hotel we stay at!

I just want to say that I very much enjoyed my stay there and I would definitely recommend it to others. They only thing they did not have was a swimming pool..... but everything else was definitely top notch.....

Overall, my stay was cool. I was not aware of the stigma surrounded by the palace inn because I didn’t witness much. It told to me that there is a lot of prostitution and crime associated with it. I only saw one incident, but it wasn’t OD so it was ok. The room was nice and clean I didn’t have any issues at all maybe because this location is fairly new not sure but it was ok to me. Maybe in the future they can offer a continental breakfast rather than on-the-go options (just a suggestion).

From check in to check out everything went perfect. Rooms were nice and clean. Location is very convenient and being on a major roadway it is still very quiet inside.

Rooms very clean.Would be nice if it had a small sofa chair .Also a safety shower rod to hold on too.Very slippery walls.Not crazy about the pillows .Safe place.Close to Restaurants n stores.

Need a place to stay while waiting for my ac to be fixed. Everything was lovely the room was clean had a mini fridge and microwave the ac was cold, shower was hot. Overall very nice for a reasonable price
