    The troubles continued at the front desk, where staff struggled for an unreasonable amount of time to locate and assign me a room. By the time I finally reached my room, all I wanted was to rest — but that hope was quickly shattered when I discovered the air conditioning was completely non-functional. Given the late hour, this was not a minor inconvenience; it was unacceptable. I had no choice but to return to the front desk and request a different room, enduring yet another lengthy wait before I could finally settle in for the night. The final — and most egregious — incident occurred the following morning. I had requested a late checkout at 12 PM, which is a common and reasonable accommodation. Despite having a "Do Not Disturb" sign clearly displayed on my door, a staff member knocked at 11:15 AM and demanded to know whether I was staying or leaving. Even more alarming, he appeared ready to open the door without my consent. This complete disregard for guest privacy

    Great place to stay, staff was helpful, hotel/rooms were clean and breakfast was great, very filling. My only complaint was the key card, the struggle everyday with trying to get in he room. I believe if you keep the keycard too close to your phone it somehow deactivates it, other than that I would most certainly recommend his hotel!

    It was a bit confusing to find the entrance at night, the entire property is blocked in by a gate. The hotel itself was fine. We only stayed one night after arriving on a late flight. The hallways smelled musty like old water, however our room was clean and comfortable and smelled fine. I did not eat breakfast, but the others in my party did and were content with it. We did not have time to utilize the pool so I am unable to speak on it. If you’re looking for a quick place to stay, I’d recommend here. Only recommendation I have is to provide patrons with the exit code during check in. We were unaware of this and got held up at the gate with a line behind us. We did find out that others were unaware as well.

    Evening receptionist for 5/16 and 5/17 was excellent. Told her that the AC issue in our first room still wasn’t fixed; she attempted to fix the issue and when it still wasn’t working, she upgraded us to a new room free of charge. Never got her name though. Excellent service. The AC in our first room wasn’t working properly. Notified the morning receptionist on 5/16 and he didn’t do anything about it.

    The bedroom was clean and I didnt have any issues with the room itself. The stairways were covered in large dead roaches for both days I stayed. Meaning nobody came around to clean them. The elevator was very sketchy and seemed to work very slowly. The hotel itself is actually fine for the price youre getting especially with the room we had we had no issues. The room you get actually surprised me for the price. It's just the area itself. You might not expect the area youre getting into with booking and yes its a little ghetto but dont book this hotel expecting nice areas and safe people. The gas station right across from the hotel seems to be falling apart and has constant homeless people roaming around. The entrance into the hotel alone is a little difficult considering theres a single gate to get in and one to get out (if you have the code). The entire area seems to be filled with trouble. Decent hotel but very sketchy area. If youre willing to spend a little less and not stay in the immediate area youre staying at truthfully id say this might be for you. If not and you want comfort all around then spend the little more for that. As a young male I didnt have many issues but my girlfriend was very uncomfortable with the area and after hearing her out I understand her and that this isn't the place for a romantic getaway so keep that in mind.

We ask for a additional discount but they flatly refused it.

    Checking in wasn't a hassle it was quick the front desk did answer all my questions the parking lot was a bit dirty with trash i stayed on the second floor it smelled a bit weird idk how to explain it the room was not bad bed was comfortable the elevator felt like it was about to break down so was a tad scared to get on and off it had a sign saying only four people at a time the breakfast wasn't bad had a bit of everything and it was fresh I saw a review about the Marijuana smell well it did smell and I did see people smoking but didn't really bother me I mean hey its Houston everyone pretty much smokes although I don't im ok with it so just know you probably will smell it all in all I would say 6 out of 10 on my stay

    The hotel was not as advertised. The main lobby was beautiful, however the elevator and stairwells were not clean and there was a smell. The room walls were dirty and the furniture was worn. The pool was not as pictured and the chairs around the pool were all torn. The breakfast was great and staff were nice in the morning.

    Stayed here for two days for a tournament I had to attended. During my stay I had no issues. Breakfast was fresh and staff did a great job keeping everything clean. I felt secured leaving my vehicle on the property because it’s gated and a code is needed to exit. Overall, I have zero complaints.

    It was in close proximity to where we were going. Customer service sucks! We always stay at this property when visiting Houston, but this time was an epic fail! The elevator stopped working, people were stuck inside. Also the young man at the desk was not helpful but was arguing with the guest. Keys stopped working daily. I would not recommend this place and will not be staying again.

    Hello. The staff was ok. The property not so much. The hotel is surrounded by a fence making it hard to access the property. After we finally got to a gate that would open up. Ok so now we’re set. Got to the room and it smelled like urine. Don’t know why I didn’t ask for a different room… Bathroom ceiling paint was all peeled nasty. Ok come to get out the parking a code was needed which I could not read on the key card. Finally got out. Ok back and trying to get back in thru the entrance gate and it was locked stuck. Broke. We had to physically slide the fire gate open to get in. Very disappointed in my selection of LaQuinta hotel for my stay. Thankfully it was only for one night.

    A little disappointed with the upkeep of the interior of the rooms. The water smelled a little fishy and the shower curtain wouldn’t close all the way due to the shower rod being broken on both sides. None of the ice machines had ice.

    The area is scary. The parking is gated for that purpose. Police on sight when we arrive I guess to escort a guest in as part of protection plan? It is a bit creepy... We did not and would not recommend walking around. We were on the 3rd floor so that felt better. The elevator worked but, was slow and it seems the mechanism was overheating as an A/C was placed there together with a vent. Does not make one reassured. It was not a bad experience just weird / Creepy due to the location. 1. Location, location, location,... 2. Cleaning procedures need to improve

    The Free Parking The room was spacious. The Breakfast wasn't good to me. The juice was water as if it needed changing bow the Breakfast attendant she spoke the Morning Hospitality worker didn't say Good Morning when u checked out she didn't ask bout my stay or come back thank you nothing. it slight smell of mold my room the hallway light controlled the tv. so i had to turn the light off. u couldn't watch tv do i slept with the light for a while so i could watch tv. The one who checked me in he was a little more pleasant the midnight worker was on the phone never looked up to say welcome back or anything maybe thats the standard

    NOTHING worked. The microwave did not work, the phone did not work there was no restock on the toilet paper so we had to use the toilet paper in my backpack that I was using for my daughters running noise. Also, no help to get new clean towels to shower with. Finally, on the day to leave the water stop working so we could NOT shower, brush our teeth or use the bathroom.

Also, afer finding out afrt I checked in there was a 50.00 dollar incidental fee charged that was not refundable I began taking pictures of the room in case I was accused of damage I did not make. I think I will stick with Extended Stay Suites and Inns

    the elevator is very scary, according to the posted maintenance record, it was last inspected in 2024. It also designed for 2500 lb loads; but it is a sign of only 4 person at a time. It takes for ever to close and to move up and down.

    This hotel was dirty. The staff was not helpful and just plain lies when we requested the gym be opened. When we walked up to the desk, the employee was asleep. Housekeeping walked into my room with no notice. Luckily I was dressed. This was one of the worst experiences I have ever had and, needless to say, will not return. Will possibly not ever stay at a La Quinta again based on this experience.

There is only one pool (outdoor) kind of small. Breakfast was good, different breakfast choices. My only complaint would be front desk who are the first point of contact for a business that should making a great impression. However this was not the case here. The women staff were great but the 2 gentlemen at front desk I encounter was not so pleasant at all. It seems as If they did not want to be bothered with any questions/issues I had. When I visit Houston next time I will try a different location.

    Was an ok stay. Had to ask for an extra blanket, the pillows were not standard pillows (very hard decor pillows), no hair dryer and my keys kept needing to be reset. Breakfast was okay for options. No real dog rest area so the patch of grass that was there was very overused and not maintained. The pool wasn't open. I slept ok.

    They have the whole parking lot fenced in, it helps to make safer as do the super bright lights as the area is not safe, the rooms were clean but can hear everything due to wood floors and thin walls.The pool and gym were nice. The staff was ok, not overly nice. the Ac unit was very dirty. Having to code your way out of the fence is weird but does help with keeping the guests safe.

    They stated that their phone lines were down, which is why they weren’t able to receive any calls. The guy gave me a receipt to return my $50 deposit, but said that I would need to contact Expedia for my refund. I contacted Expedia and they said they needed to get a Hold of the hotel to see about the refund. I did advise them about the phone lines being down. Expedia has stated that they are unable to process a refund because the hotel has not approved the refund well their phone lines are down which is pretty convenient for them. Don’t waste your time/money with Expedia.

    The pool area was filthy, we were there for a week and no one cleaned up the pool area. There was garbage everywhere, the never emptied the garbage so there were flies all over. The outside bathroom was filthy and not cleaned at all. We always try to stay at a La Quinta while travelling this visit will make me think twice about staying there again.

    It was easy to book this last minute one night stay. When we arrived we were greeted with a smile. The customer service was good. I liked the gated entry and exit.     I called on first day of what should have been a 4 day weekend for me to cancel the rest of the weekend and they did not allow for cancelation of the rest of the days because the manager was off on vacation and they needed his approval. He wouldn't be back until monday. I had changes in my schedule i was not going to be able to stay the rest of the weekend. Id expect an assistant manager to be on site for these sorts of things as a back up.

    Property is fine. First assigned room no linens on bed. Changed rooms and took a few hours to be able to get into the room. Faulty door and cars access.

    This property is not well kept, carpet is dirty, found a cockroach, paint in room is peeling, we almost tripped on a lost floor plastic piece. The staff is very nice but property is not worth staying at. La Quinta used to mean quality hotel and I don’t know what happened.

    The free breakfast in the morning was pretty good compared to other hotels. Eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, cereal, DIY waffles, and juice. There’s free gated parking and you have to use a code to exit the gate each time.
