The room was clean. The tv had plenty of options. Breakfast was good. The only problem I I incurred was the air conditioning. It was not cooling when I arrived around 8:00pm. By the time we went to bed it still was not cooling. Each time I called, the front desk said they were resetting it but that did not work. Finally around 11:00pm I got dressed and walked downstairs and the clerk said the previous clerk had it set on “auto” and she changed it to “on.” Finally the air cooled the room after 5 phone calls and a trip downstairs.

We spent the weekend here. It was nice and quite, the breakfast was good and had a nice variety. I would definitely stay here again.

People hanging out in the lobby in swimwear?? We were told before arrival we could have a rollaway bed, but when we got there, we couldn't even get an extra blanket or an extra pillow. We could hear people talking/ arguing in rooms from our room and from the hallway, and when my kids had music playing (around 7:30/8 pm) neighbors pounded on the wall. Woke up around 2 am because someone in the next room was snoring extremely loudly. The "heated indoor pool" was VERY cold.

The hallways smelled terrible! Trash cans by elevator overflowing at check in! Room smelled like trash as well! Everything just smelled unclean! Went to the front desk to complain and there was no additional rooms to move to and no air freshener on site!

The rooms were nice and clean with plenty of space. We felt very safe in this area. You had to have a card to enter and exit the premises. Breakfast wasn't bad either. The only thing I didn't like was the bar area was closed due to staff so I went to the liquor store which was close to the hotel. I would definitely stay here again.

As soon as we walked into the room, we were hit with a very strong, unpleasant odor—it honestly smelled like multiple dogs had been in the space. When I brought it to the staff’s attention, the only solution offered was to move us to a smaller room since they didn’t have another comparable option available. Because we wanted to stay comfortable, we chose to remain in the room we originally booked. I asked for air freshener and was given a nearly empty can that only had a few sprays left. I ended up having to go out and purchase my own spray and plug-ins just to make the room tolerable. On top of that, the cleanliness was unacceptable. The shower had hair all over it, as if someone had recently shaved, the bathroom walls were visibly dirty, and there was leftover soap residue where the shampoo and body wash bottles had been. Even the freezer had not been properly cleaned. The kitchen amenities were also extremely lacking. There was only one cup available, and it was dirty. There were no pans provided for use in the oven, which made the kitchen essentially unusable. To make matters worse, the manager’s resolution was a $25 refund on a stay that cost over $400, which felt extremely inadequate given the conditions. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend staying here.

To be fair, the manager later apologized for the "acting ugly" experience, resolved it and offered a service recovery discount, which I appreciated. However, there are too many hotel options in Houston, TX for me to ever give my money to this LaQuinta again. Everything else at the hotel was fine (room size, breakfast, cleanliness) with the exception that there was very little air circulation in the gym.

Only problem I had was with one staff member gave me an attitude when I asked where things were located as if I was a regular at the hotel site when I’m originally from out of town and never being at the location is why I gave 4 stars

The breakfast was the only thing good about the hotel. The rooms were dirty. There was hair and dirt in the bathroom, in the bed sheets. The front desk lady was rude and she had her family there making fun of people. You only get three towels and can’t get new ones if you use them.

Breakfast was great one of the better breakfast in many hotels we stayed at. The dinning room was clean and there was plenty of food to go around. The food tasted great and there were a good amount of options to choose from. Place was clean rooms were clean. Kids loved the indoor pool. The area was nice and quiet at night no distruptions. And you need your room key to go in and out the hotel and parking lot especially at night Over all great place to stay.

It was clean and only had one issue with the room. The a.c. was not working till several hours later i had to call front desk and she had to turn it on from her side. Im not sure why it wasnt switched on before our arrival and fire alarm went off twice randomly at night. Other than that it was nice.

The double queen room with sofa bed was a good size for a family of 4-6 to stretch out. Rooms have microwaves and mini refrigerators and big TV's and Wifi. And parking is free. The breakfast needed more options, like boiled eggs, oatmeal - more non-carb options.

They said I should already have one in the closet, I told them yes I did but it was thin and I just needed one more, she said she would check and call me back. Never received the blanket. I’m very disappointed.

I like the location I can get on the highway easily I'm far enough away from the traffic that it makes leaving the hotel for short trips super easy What do I like the location what don't I like the location ease of getting on the highway is awesome but the sound of the highway will drive you crazy ?

The first night upon arriving, my family and I did not sleep whatsoever due to kids running all night up and down along with loud banging and yelling from the room above us. Several calls were made to the front desk and every time they stated that the situation was under control, the noise would start again. Apparently either room, mine nor theirs was able to move the night, especially the other people due to the fact that they are to stay at that hotel for more than 30 days and mine was only to be two nights. The next night, we were able to move but this room was totally disgusting. The floor and couch spelled like pee and a musty smell. The shower still had hair every where and the floor was sticky. I would not recommend staying in this hotel. Shop around some more because Houston is too big to just settle in this hotel.

I don’t like that there was hardly no water pressure in the bathroom sink. I don’t like the rules about stains about towels and sheets. When there was a time they gave me towel with a stain and immediately bought it to their attention. Worrying about being charge is not a good feeling. I’ve never heard of this my life. The hotel was clean. All trash’s should have trash bags which they don’t.

I reserved a room with 2 queen beds since I was travelling with my wife and 6 foot tall 15 year old son. They put me in a king room without telling me. When I went to the desk to get it fixed they said they had no double queen rooms. I paid extra for the double queens and if you’ve ever slept on a pullout mattress you would too. Oh and the TV had one channel that worked… QVC.

Really good rate, kind and staff was kind during check-in and check out, really good breakfast and a clean room. The hallway on the third floor, however, smelled like dog diarrhea. I informed the staff but not sure if the staff did anything after we left to resolve this issue.

We arrived at 1:15 and they charged me extra for checking in early! We left at 5:00am the next morning. Do I get a credit for vacating the room before 11:00am???? Nope. I have never been charged an extra fee for arriving early!! Not good!!!

Started off had to call the front desk for someone to check us in along with other guests behind us. We had a 3 day stay. The room was clean, but there was a constant smell of “skunk” in the hallway. We saw employees cleaning the lobby area daily, but the carpeted hallway is the area that smelled. The breakfast was ok. They had biscuits, bread for toast, hot items such as premade reheated egg patties, small sausages and oatmeal, make your own waffles. Fruit option apples, and they had yogurt. I would have liked to have seen individual servings of peanut butters, bagels and cream cheese. Scrambled eggs. Beds were high off the ground and a little high for me making it difficult to get on/ off. On-line it says queen size, but they were double sized. We have a queen at home. My husband is over 6ft tall so the size of the bed matters to us. The A/C in our room was top notch. We could lower and raise the temp and instantly feel it. The shower water temp and pressure was great, but the sink water pressure was super low making it hard to clean the soap off your hands. The lobby women’s restroom did not have soap. It makes me wonder when they clean the restroom why they would not refill the soap? Hotel was conveniently located and had gated parking area. As with most hotels, some guests were louder than others, not much that can be done about it. I usually don’t say never, but I don’t think we will stay here again.

It was the worst time I ever had experience with an hotel staff. I will never return!!! And DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! They are rude, disrespectful, rooms are dirty, housekeeping manager is stingy and rude. Front desk is very rude and not helpful. Please do not go to that hotel , you will regret it.

It was horrible rooms wss disgusting they didn’t wanna clean or offer a new CLEAN room very rude attitudes

We stayed for a weekend get away with the kids. This property did not disappoint. The front desk was accomdating when we needed towels and unexpectedly needed to change our stay to a leave day earlier. I wish i could have caught the gals name. But she was AMAZING! The parking lot is gated! The rooms clean and breakfast was very very good! Will stay again for sure.

The only con was that breakfast ends at 9am on the weekends which is early for us since we were on vacation and trying to sleep in. I’ve been to other properties and it typically ends at 10 am. Overall the hotel was great. If I return to Houston I will definitely stay here!

I don’t know why I got so many charges but not told once.

Everything was great except the shower was hard to operate and I had to go downstairs for ice because the ice machine on the third floor was out. I was very comfortable there and would definitely stay there again.

Asked from day one for a extra blanket and everyday after and still never got one. Breaskfast is usually pretty good but for some reason it was not that good this trip. Other then no extra blanket and the breakfast it was a good stay!

The internet barely worked, and it was just a bit shabby overall. The tub faucet seemed about to fall off, and there was a coffee cup left on the floor near the elevator on the 3rd floor that didn't get cleaned up up for a long time.

This property is horrible. Dont believe the rating. I had my family from out of town stay here. Rooms are filthy, bedding is old. Do not stay here. The desk agent also told me over the phone that the bartender died so the entire bar was closed

Every was wonderful until the night time when I had to call front desk because it was a party o the hall of my floor kids running and yelling and having fun I guess, but i needed to sleep it was 1 am when this occurred and that is the only not so good thing that happened to me. Everything else was just wonderful

There was no issue with the hotel but guest during my stay. Guest in room 219 were extremely loud and yelling to 2:30 am. It was impossible to get any rest. I think it's inconsiderate for them not to think of others.

We have stay in the same hotel before but this time was disappointing. The mattres for the sofa bed was nasty, the 3 floor smells bad, now they refuse to you clean towels unless you give them the dirty ones and they can give you only 2 so you have share towels. This time they also came to remind us to check out that day which is quite rude. We will not stay at this hotel again.

Friendly staff places to sit outside, covered clean

First impressions of the lobby- Very Dated and the lobby sofa was filthy dirty. The staff at front desk were not friendly- never acknowledged us walking in because they were always on their cell phones. Our room had a stale musty odor. The walls in the bathroom had hair all over it and the shower had hair all over. The water was a trinkle. Barely enough to brush your teeth. The bedding didn’t seem crispy and white. I covered it with my personal blanket. I’ve stayed at this same location 3 times over a 5 year span and it’s a dump now. The free breakfast was awful ! I will never stay here again! A DUMP!

Clean

Overall, the stay was comfortable, and reasonably priced considering the duration of our stay and the amenities. I’m willing to stay here again, but please do better with the quality of service, and preparedness of basic essential items to accommodate your guests.

Halls swelled like marijuana- dirty laundry was picked up but not replaced so no clean wash clothes night 2. Definitely not worth the cost per night. Would not stay again.

They gave away my room even though I checked in online, and didn’t bother helping me look for other accommodations.

I booked on May 16,2024 due to the power been out at home. When i got to the hotel their power was out so i askdd for a refund. I was told that the owner would have to approve and would be in the next day. I didnt get a response back until Monday and I was told the owner did not approve my refund , I then called hotel.com asked for the manager told him my problem clearly I didn't stay at the hotel cause they didn't have power and hotel.com refunded me my money. I will never book at this hotel again

Free breakfast and parking was fenced in and room card access required.
